Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 13 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Goodbye"

Hello everyone!

OMG I'm so stoked to talk about this episode!

This was Zoey's season finale and, what could have been such a sad send off (even more because we don't know if the show will be renewed or not) ended up being such an uplifting episode with the end that I wanted!

That's right folks, they did it! Clarkeman (yes, I finally know what Zoey and Max's ship name is) is endgame!

I'm sure you'll forgive me but I have to start with the end! OMG what was that?! I mean, not only they really mad us think Zoey would end up alone but they left us with such a big cliffhanger! So now Max hears Heart Songs as well?! I mean... This makes the possibility of an upcoming season so much more interesting, but that really caught me by surprise (not mad though).

Okay, now that I've got my excitement out, let's rewind a bit and get through the whole episode.

We knew that Zoey felt much more than friendship towards Max (even after their 'break up') but, to be honest, we never really saw her 'not working' with Simon either so I truly didn't know what they were going to do with this episode. I knew I wanted Clarkeman to be endgame but I didn't know if that was going to happen. Well, turns out pretty early in the episode Zoey realizes that things with Simon aren't working out and, luckily, Simon felt the exact same way and their break up was fairly simple. Obviously they will still have a deep connection, mainly because of the things they shared about their dads and all of that, but Zoey's heart belonged to Max.

However, it isn't until she learns about what we saw in the last episode (about Max giving her his spot at SPRQ Point) and after a beautiful dream musical number with her dad that Zoey realizes she has to do something about Max leaving otherwise she will regret it for the rest of her life. But, of course, something had to happen and Zoey doesn't go through with her plan. She sees Max and Rose at the airport and, as she's approaching them, she hears/sees Max sing a heart song that she assumed was towards Rose and so she gives up and goes back home.

It's then, in the end of the episode, that Max appears, revealing that he didn't go to New York. Rose realized that he wasn't focused at all and Max realized that he loved someone else - Zoey - who was the person he was singing about after all. And then the plot twist happens.

As Zoey is explaining her feelings for him, she starts singing and turns out Max now hears Heart Songs! And the episode ended like that. Now I wonder - does both of them have powers now? Did Zoey transfer her powers to Max? Did Zoey get rid of her powers and they won't come back to her? There's so many questions now! I really need that Season 3! But, I gotta say - If they end up not renewing the show I won't be mad at how this ended. I will be sad that one of my favorite shows ended but the actual ending wasn't bad - everyone is happy and Zoey and Max are together. It's pretty clear that the writers really thought this through. Not only they pleases everyone, with Zoey and Simon dating for a few episodes, then making the previews episode which changed a lot of people's minds on Clarkeman (people started shipping them) and then they ended with basically everyone happy but still with an interesting twist that, if they get picked up (which I hope they do) will make a great Season 3 - so let's hope that happens!

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 11 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Double Date"

Zoey's Playlist is back from it's little hiatus and I do not like where this is going!

This week's episode was a mess. Not that the episode was bad - no! It's more the other way around. The episode was great, but everything in Zoey's life is such a mess and I truly felt that. I guess I'll just jump right into it.

The episode starts out with a really important scene, in my opinion. I loved right away that they had an actor from The Good Doctor in there as well as the actress that played Kitty on Glee. That was awesome, as well as the musical number that they sang, but what was important for the actual plot was when Zoey got into her therapist appointment. She was so relatable right there talking about all the things that she has going on in her life - work, family, relationship, all the tv shows she has to watch - I loved that! I've always said this, Zoey is so relatable, I really connect to her struggles (some of them) and I believe that is one of the reasons why I love this show so much. Anyway... So her therapists tell her to just focus on one thing that she can improve on and so she decides to make a day all dedicated to Simon and what he wants to do. And that's when the name of the episode comes in. They start thinking about what to do and Rose appears and says that she and Max are going on a costume run and Simon is on board and, again Zoey being so relatable, she isn't really into it but she agrees because she wants to give Simon a perfect day.

Well, obviously things get a bit chaotic mostly when she hears Perry sing a song about how he's afraid of his ex-husband meeting Mo and, as in true Zoey fashion, she agrees to help him after the run while they're all there at MaxiMo. What Zoey doesn't see coming is when Max reveals that he's thinking about going to New York for a while because Rose has a friend that is interesting in opening a pop-up of MaxiMo. And that's when I say no to this whole thing. I mean, it creates good intrigue and everything makes sense but I just want Max and Zoey back together! And it looks like that won't happen anytime soon. 

Zoey creates a big mess when she acts a bit like she's jealous (but I'll get into it) making Rose uncomfortable, as well as Simon, and Max ends up not being happy with her either. But the thing is, Zoey ends up talking to her therapist about the whole mess and he tells her that it might not be feelings for Max - it can actually be her afraid of loosing someone else, after loosing her father, and then Joan moving away and now she's afraid to loose her best-friend too. And, as much as I want her to still have romantic feelings for Max, I love that they're introducing a different element to the mix and giving Zoey even more depth and just say that the lost of a loved one is such a complicated thing. I love all the layers that the producers and writers put into the show! What I don't love though is that they're killing my favorite ship!

Yes, as I said, Max is not happy with Zoey and he tells her that the need to stop what the have been doing - basically telling her that they can't be friends and that he needs some space from her. Not only that broke me but it was also so heartbroken to Zoey that seeing her leave MaxiMo crying was so heartbreaking to me... I just want Max and Zoey back together as they were in the beginning of this season! Ugh!!

One good thing this come out of this episode though - turns out Maggie does not have a gambling problem and she just wanted to get rid of the money she got from that architect that hired and the hit on her. The problem then was that she kept winning and now she has a ton of money. Luckily Deb was there to make good use of the money and it looks like they're going on a bit of a vacation so... I guess we won't see Maggie for a few episodes.

Anyway... This was a lot to take in and I don't know where this whole thing with Simon, Zoey and Max is going and, as much as I want Max and Zoey together, I just want to see Zoey happy so... Let's hope we get that. Oh, I also forgot to mention that there was a little plot about the phone at SPRQ Point and that Tobin and that other girl finally made out so... that's nice.

I guess that's pretty much it from me... Let me know where you land on all of this thing between Zoey, Max and Simon, and what are your predictions for future episodes - I myself have no idea. Until then, I'll have a few more rants up this week so... I'll see you later!

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 10 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Girls' Night"

Hello everyone!

Oh My God, I don't even know where to start! When I think this show can't surprise me anymore, it always does, and always in a good way. Truly, one of the best shows I've seen lately. It's incredible how they can touch on so many important subjects on a light but still meaningful way.

So, this episode starts right where the last one left of - with Zoey seeing that Emily isn't fine. However, Emily still doesn't acknowledge that she has a problem and so, the remaining of the episode is Zoey trying to get through her. And in the process, she discovers all kinds of issues that her friends have as well as some issues within her, which was such a big surprise.

Where do I start? I guess I'll start with Zoey and Simon. Even though this episode was mostly about Emily (but we already know that she's not fine, so it's mostly making her realize that) the other thing that was pretty prominent in the episode was Zoey and Simon's relationship that is being a little it rocky. I mean, they acknowledge in the episode that everyone's relationships are facing some type of issues, which is later on talked in such an interesting set of scenes, but Simon is having this issue that Zoey isn't spending as much time with him as he wanted. Part of me is happy that they're having some troubles because I'm a Max & Zoey shipper (still don't know their ship name) but on the other hand, I can see that Simon is a great guy and him and Zoey work really well together so... I don't know how I feel about them yet. Anyway so Zoey has been so focused on Emily that Simon is feeling left out, and Zoey realizes that on some of the best scenes in this episode!

It started out with Simon, Max and Mo having a musical number expressing their feelings which I loved and then, on a really interesting turn of events, what Zoey thought would be a Girls Night In with Emily, turned into a Girls Night Out, which was so much fun to see Zoey so out of place in a club and all of that. But the best part really was that the boys were at Mo's house and they were the ones to have a night in - where they even did some face masks as well as some feet thing. It was so interesting to see the duality of something that the girls where doing that it's typically seen as more of a guys thing and the boys doing what is seen as a girls thing. I just loved that!

Then, what might have been my favorite musical number in the episode, Zoey finally gets through to Emily after Emily sings Gasoline by Halsey on the club's bathroom. I love Halsey and it was so surprising to her one of her songs in a show like this, and even more not one of her most mainstream songs so... Yeah, super surprised but loved it! Also, Emily's version was so powerful! Really loved it!

And well, in the end not only Emily comes to terms that she has Post-partum Depression but she also tells David and realizes that she needs professional help. That was huge and is something that is so true - people have to come to terms themselves about their problems so I loved that the show tackled that. And then, in the very end, while listening to Mo singing about leaning on each other, Zoey realizes something about herself as well - she also needs help - and that's when we see her go to a therapist and saying that she has a power that might not be good for her. That was such a huge twist that I  did not see coming! I always saw this power as somewhat a good thing but, if you really think about it, it must be such a burden - mostly if you are an empath and you need to help people, which is Zoey's case so... Interested to see where this goes, as well as to see if she tells Simon about her powers because he already got a feeling of them in, again, a really funny scene where he asked Mo and Max about Zoey 'knowing what everyone is thinking'.

More on the side there was also a plot with Maggie finding herself and going to casinos with Deb. Fun, but might be a problem in the future, and there was also Max and Rose, which I do not ship, that are moving forward with their relationship (let's see where this leads, having in mind that next episode is called 'Zoey's Extraordinary Double Date', that should be interesting) and Mo and the Fire Marshall that are take a step forward with their relationship as well.

Overall, great episode, truly loved it! And now I'm super curious where everything is going - Zoey and her powers, the couples, Maggie's possible addiction... We'll see. Unfortunately, Zoey's Playlist is also taking a break so no new rant next week but the show will be back in May! Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 9 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Mystery"

Hello everyone!!

OMG, what a fantastic episode! Truly, this might have been my favorite episode this season! Ugh, I have s much to talk about I don't even know where to start!

Okay, so... After how things ended last episode I wasn't too hopeful. I mean, I was still excited about the show and I wasn't expecting a bad episode but you know... Knowing that Zoey would be with Simon... So, that's why when that first scene happened I was so excited about it. However, they completely tricked me (I guess that's what they wanted) in thinking that things weren't going to work out between Zoey and Simon. I still think they won't work out in the end but with everything that happened in this episode, I have to say that I'm not that mad about her being with Simon anymore. That whole thing with the stool that Simon made for Zoey... awww that was the cutest thing! So yeah, I've warmed up to the idea of them together. But that wasn't even the thing that made me love this episode. It was the actual story!

It's amazing how this show can always surprise me with their different ideas. I do have to say that I go into each episode without knowing anything about it so I'm mostly always surprised. But yeah, the original ideas that they do on the show just blow me away. You would think a show like this would get repetitive - well, it never does! And that was one of the reasons why loved this episode! Then, there's the actual story with the songs being mixed up which just gave a different vibe to the episode - as the title says, it was sort of a mystery. Also, I saw a comment of the episode say that it was actually pretty surprising because at first you thought the songs were just random and then you understand that they're switch up and that gave a different feeling to the episode once you figure that out. Oh, and again, they did that same thing when Max sang 'Anyone' - I really thought things weren't working with Rose which got my hopes up and... Well, I ended up a bit disappointed but I still have hope that Max and Zoey will get back together.

And because we're already on that topic, can we talk about them choosing to do 'Anyone' now? I don't know if you've seen it but Demi Lovato just release a 4 episode documentary about her overdose and the timing of them doing this song on the show as just... on point! Oh and of course, Skylar was the perfect one to sing it, although, I was a bit shocked at the choice so it took me a bit to fully appreciate the singing but yeah... Definitely gonna add that to my playlist. But all the songs in this episode were amazing, actually!

This might have been one of the episode with the most amount of songs and I loved it! I loved basically all the performances but I do have to give a shout out to 'Anyone' (both versions, actually), 'What Does The Fox Say?' which was so funny, and 'Love on The Brain' which was sang buy one of Perry's kids and it was really good!  

Well, I guess that's pretty much it for this episode. I think I touched on all the major moments of the episode. Of course, the ending though... I don't know why I didn't notice that but the ending was so strong and I can't wait for the show to develop on that. Also, I never really noticed that the show has so many characters with names starting with 'M'?! That was also a shock to me... But in a fun way. I also liked that we found out a bit more about all the characters so, once again, the show never gets boring, never gets repetitive and you keep on learning about the characters, which is amazing!

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 6 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Reckoning"

Finally here with the new Zoey's Playlist rant and... Okay, I have a lot of thoughts.

I'm going to be careful here because people might take what I'm about to say the wrong way since we're talking about a touchy subject. This whole episode was about the aftermath of the last episode - Simon exposing SPRQ Point as a not inclusive work place. So this whole episode revolved around that and around racism and... I get it. I understand that this is an important subject and it needs to be talked about but, at the same time, this episode rubbed me the wrong way. One of the reasons why was because when this is airing. I know the climate that we're in is making everyone think a lot more about these issues but, at the same time, it doesn't feel natural. To me, it feels like they had to write this episode otherwise they would be perceived as racists for not talking about the issue. You can't really win here, I guess. If you don't talk about it you're part of the problem and if you do it feels like you're only doing it so you don't look bad, and that's how I saw this episode (and all the shows that decide to talk about this right now). It felt a little out of place because the story of the show doesn't revolve around that. But again, I understand that this is something that needs to be talked about but it just rubbed me the wrong way that they decided to make an episode about racism just like every other show right now.

Then, there's another thing that I didn't quite like and something that I've seen in real life - which is blaming white people for being privileged and seeing racist things in every little detail. But before I get into that, I would like to point out that I'm talking as a white person in Portugal, outside of the US, so my perception of racism might be a lot different from people in the USA. I just needed to let everyone know because I know that things are different in different countries (even though there's racism everyone, I know that).

There's one particular scene in the episode that made me a little mad. The scene between Simon and Zoey in Simon's office when Zoey's going to tell him that he needed to retract his statement. She goes there from a place of both friend and boss and, at this point, we already know that Zoey is a good person so when she says that she sees Simon as Simon, her friend, just that and he tells her that she needs to see him as a black person... I don't get it? I really don't... I've had this conversation in real life but like, I don't see people as their colors. It doesn't matter to me if you're white, black, Asian... I will treat you the same, no matter what. And when black people say that we need to see them as black people, doesn't that defeats the purpose of what they want - equality?! I don't know... I'm truly confused with this and I would like to understand. And once again I really connected with Zoey. Both me and her know that we aren't racist and still we are faced with some things that might be a bit tone-deaf and we get confused. I felt the same thing with the scene with her and Mo.

Zoey goes to Mo for advice on how to tell Simon that the company wants him to retract the statement and Mo goes off on Zoey that she's going to her black friend to ask advice on how to talk to her other black friend. Personally, I didn't see it that way. I saw it as someone who went to her friend to ask for advice on how to talk to another friend. It didn't matter the race. She could've gone to Max but, let's be honest, Mo has always been the one that Zoey goes to for advice so... Why make it about race? 

And then, there's the scene in the stairs when Simon tells Zoey that he's going to quit, in which Zoey just says 'Okay', and that really felt out of character to me. I get it that they wanted to show that Zoey understood that maybe she was part of the problem and she needed to be more understanding and just be there for Simon but... Zoey would maybe say that she would like him to stay but she would support him no matter what. I know that's what I would say... 

I don't know, I just felt that some things were forced and some things didn't make sense but maybe that was the point?! Maybe I felt 'attacked' because I really connected with how Zoey was feeling maybe she was portraying what I've been doing wrong... I don't know...

With all of this said, I would like to reinforce that I still appreciate this episode. I know that it is necessary and it does show us some things that we can change in order to be more inclusive.

Besides that, the episode also gave us some amazing performances and amazing musical numbers and I really appreciated the Tobin story-line in this episode. Not only I loved his solo musical number but I feel like his story in this episode is really relatable and I truly think a lot of people would think the same way and be afraid to speak up because of the consequences. And not only that, but also that people don't want to be the center of attention and if it's not bothering too much, it's better to stay this way than make it worse. But I also liked that in the end he spoke up and he helped Simon not get fired and helped change the structure of the company. 

Also, because there can't be one rant where I don't talk about Max... It was just a little plot with Max and Mo asking Danny Michael Davis for money but it brought Max to the office and that was something nice to see. I would've like to see Maggie's take on all this racism thing, as well as Emily, since she's Asian and she could have a different view... I don't know, but I would like her take on this.

Anyway, this rant was a little bit different but I touched on all the important points, I think. Important messages, some things that I wasn't the biggest fan of but that's okay... I still appreciate it for what it is. There was not a lot more to the story itself so I guess that's it from me.

I would love to know all your thoughts on the episode as well as on the things that I said in this post and please, take it easy on me. All of this comes from a good heart, I promise you. And if I said anything that is offensive first, I'm sorry, and second, educate me, I would love to learn more about everything and understand it a bit better.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 4 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Employee"

Hello people!

Back with a new Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist rant and again, this one hit me right in the feels. Not in the same way as the previous ones - those ones were more "sad" and this one had a great underlining message.

This week's episode was all about being happy and doing the thing that make you happy. And it started right away with the first scene of the episode.

It started out with Mo presenting some of his drink creations, to which Zoey says she can't drink otherwise she might feel bad again (not that she's feeling good already). After that she asks Mo how is he able to be so happy all the time, to which he says that he wakes up and he decided that that day will be a good day - aka you decide if your day will be a good one or not and you basically have to manifest it in order for it to become true, which I completely agree and I've been practicing that myself (once again, Zoey being so relatable to be and my life).

From that point on, the whole episode revolved around their jobs and job problems - Zoey with having to fire people from the company, Mo and Max not agreeing with how each other work on the restaurant thing, Maggie having to deal with a flirtatious client and David wanting to quit his job as a lawyer. Well, I guess I'll start with the last one and move on till the main story of the episode (which is Zoey, obviously).

When it comes to David there's really not much to say. Obviously Emily wasn't happy with him wanting to quit his job, but after a talk with Zoey, she realized that she was wrong and so she supported him on his decision - she also wanted to go back to work anyway so... Although a really simple story-line, I really liked that they put it in because it's a bit unusual, let's be honest. Usually it's the man that works and the woman that stays home forever to take care of the kid and here it's the guy that wants to be home with his kid and that's super cute. What's not so cute is how Roger went so hard on Maggie. I mean, it was pretty obvious in the last episode that this would evolve to some flirting, but that was not okay. Maggie lost Mitch so recently (at least it feels really recent to me)... I did like that they mention that she feels kind of guilty for liking to feel desired... Once again, that's a really interesting point and something that isn't really addressed in TV shows and such... However, that whole thing did bring out something nice - Maggie and Jenna's relationship! The both of them playing drinking games! It's something that I never knew I wanted. But now, onto something a bit more concerning...

This whole plot between Max and Mo is great - them being friends and having a project together... I really enjoy it, and I did enjoy the overall message of their story-line - that people have different ways to work and people have to adapt. That is great! However, I don't like where the producers are taking Max's character. He was one of my favorites and this Max doesn't look like the Max from Season 1. Where is the loving and supporting Max? In this season he has been so grumpy and mad at everyone... I understand that he's bummed about the whole thing with Zoey but... C'mon! Ugh!! I guess this makes him more believable?! I mean, the truth is that, in real life, people have good and bad days and you can't be all lovey dovey all the time but... I don't know... I just don't like it... Also, I hope there's something else to it. I know that we'll find out more about Max's relationship with his father so hopefully that explains his odd behavior.

Now, onto the main event.

I can't imagine how hard it is to fire people. But that wasn't the "worst". I'm really sad that George is gone. He was one of my favorite new additions to the show and see him leave so early... It's sad. But, on the bright side, that gave us an amazing musical number with "Stronger" by Britney Spears so... Love that! But, I guess my favorite musical number of the episode was Simon singing "Juice" by Lizzo. That was great! And, since we're talking about the musical numbers, how come there was no Max song in this episode?! I know that the last few episodes have been filled with Max songs but I just love Skylar's voice (and him faking that he's a bad singer?! That was hilarious but it doesn't count).

And well, I guess it's time to talk about the elephant in the room - new love interest for Zoey. At least, that's what we're assuming. So, now it's a love square?

I mean, I read some people's comments on how they didn't understand how they're introducing another love interest when Zoey said she wasn't ready for Max. My explanation is that Max (or Simon, for that matter) was a serious thing, while this new guy, will most likely be just a fling and nothing serious. I don't think he will really be competition for Max or Simon, but we'll see. And I guess that's it for this episode.

I'm really curious for the next episode. Will we see some jealous Max? That sounds interesting to me. Let me know your thoughts on this episode and on this new love interest and I'll talk to you tomorrow with a new The Challenge rant!

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 3 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Dreams"

I swear to god, this past few episodes have been a little bit triggering.

Hello everybody and welcome to a knew Zoey's Playlist rant.

As I said, this season, and this episode in particular, really hit home with me. Luckily everything is fine with my family, so I'm not exactly feeling what Zoey is feeling but, in a way, I've also been feeling too overwhelmed and with a lot on my mind so her feelings are really relatable. I'm still enjoying this season a lot. I mean, the core of this show is comedy (and musical) but I love how relatable they make it. Anyway, I already told that this episode really touched me so now let's really get into the episode.

The episode opens up with Zoey singing. That was already a shock to me. But soon we realize that's a dream. Well, actually, more of a nightmare and, I gotta be honest - the first thing that I thought when I heard her singing that song was that she felt trapped with Max. (Well, it turned out not to be exactly that, but it still affected their relationship).

Well, after talking to Max about it, she suspects that what she needs is to go back to her own house and so she decides to go tell her mum. However, when she's about to tell her, her mum sings a song basically saying that she doesn't feel well and "herself" and so Zoey doesn't go through with it and decides to wait 'till her mum feels better. And that's when the "second main plot" of the episode comes in.

It's not only Zoey that isn't well - her mother isn't feeling the best either but she decides to take a new job. Unfortunately, the pitch doesn't go well and she goes home and tries to think of a different way to express herself in her work (and that's when Emily's sister, Jenna, comes into action and helps Maggie get her "mojo" back). With that out of the way, it's time to focus again on Zoey.

Back at SPRQ Point, she talks with Simon about her dreams/nightmares and he tells her that it's completely  normal to have nightmares after loosing someone - he himself had them when he lost his father - and he told her that reducing stress helped, and that's what Zoey did. All the things that she had to do as "the boss" she gave most of it to everyone else. But, it kind of backfired and everything turned out wrong. And, on top of that, her nightmares didn't stop, even after going back to her place. And here enters the most emotional musical number of the episode - Max singing "Say Something".

I read some comments on this and I kind of agree - Max's complaints don't fit with his character and how close he was with Zoey. He would support her and not pressure her. So yeah, this was probably just a way for Skylar Astin to sing "Say Something". Am I mad about it? Not really. It doesn't 100% fit with the character but I can see someone that never got through something like that thinking that the other person, after 2 months, is "better" and be confused and just wanting to know (because let's be real - Zoey should have opened up to Max). Plus, Skylar's voice is amazing so...

And yeah, Zoey ends up talking to him and that's when our (Team Max) nightmare happens - they decide to take a break.

We all knew this was bound to happen but it didn't make it any less sad. However, yes, it's the right thing to do. I just want to see Zoey happy again and have them together and both feeling happy.

Well, that's basically it. A really important and relatable episode which, although not as happy, still pretty good.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 1 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Return"

Hello everyone!

So here it is, the brand new addition to the blog - Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. With the end of Supernatural I thought I should bring a new show to the blog for me to review and, after asking on Twitter, I decided on Zoey's Playlist. I started watching the show actually just last year, during quarantine, but I fell in love with it right away. And it's so weird because it's not my type of show at all but I just loved the story, the characters, the songs... Yeah, I love it so much to the point that I didn't even know if I wanted to review it. You know, when you love a show so much that you don't want to "bother" with analyzing it? No? Is it just me? I don't know, but in the end I decided to review it and with this big ass introduction, I guess it's time to really get into the episode. (Oh, and I know I'm a little bit late).

This episode jumps straight into the story, which was a bit jarring at first. I don't know, I guess I was expecting a bit of an introduction... But we jump straight to Zoey not being her best self after her dad's death. They do address the fact that 6 weeks have passed so it's not a huge amount of time but it's still a good amount of time where things changed, and that's when the story of the episode really starts.

Mo is able to cheer Zoey and, after six weeks, she leaves her rooms, dresses up and goes to work. Once she arrives at SPRQ Point, she's faced with a bunch of changes - Leif was replacing her as the 'supervisor', he also changed the desks to standing desks, hired someone to replace Max - a new character called George - there's dogs in the workplace now, no bar and, on top of all of that, Joan wants to promote her and make her the head of that whole floor (basically replace Joan). I already knew that Lauren Graham was leaving the show so I was curious to know what would happen to her and to the company. We now know.

Anyway, all those changes really overwhelmed Zoey and, on top of that, she got her powers back and had the whole company singing to her. Yeah, a bit too much for a first day.

Oh, I completely forgot to mention one of my favorite parts of the episode - Max and Zoey meeting before she goes to work. Max gives her a shield ring which has a music note reversed so it resembles a Z. OMG, could Max be any cuter? (and well, you didn't know this but I guess it's pretty obvious now that I'm team Max right?) Which leads me to the next scene - Zoey going to Mo's house and being faced with Mo, Max and Simon all hanging out together. And has she arrives and they're watching football, she's met with one of the funniest lines of the episodes - you're going to have to pick a team (or something along those lines) - which just made me laugh so hard. No other show does what Zoey's Playlist does - this shows plays with that ship concept and that you have a 'team' and I just love that about this show. Well, after that follows a music number with Max and Simon singing to Zoey 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl' which, again, I loved!

Needless to say that all this stuff has been too much for Zoey to handle so she goes back home and has to deal with more stuff - her grief. She finds some videos that her dad left on his computer and, at first, they are too much for the family to handle but, by the time the episode ends, they come across a video where Mitch is feeling 'fine' and he just tells them to move on after he's gone and, of course (because this is a show) that gives them some perspective and things start getting better. 

For the most part I love this show because it is so relatable. It puts things as they are and, as we see in this episode, it's hard to deal with things like these and Zoey is so relatable and the show openly talks about all this important topics and yeah, I just love that. Of course, things have to move on a bit quicker than they would in real life (I imagine) and so that's the only thing that's not so believable, but I get it (I mean, that and her seeing people singing songs, of course).

With things put into perspective, Zoey decides to accept Joan's offer and, in the very end of the episode, she also decides to address what happened between her and Max before they get the call about her father (the whole make out session and whatnot) and the episode just ends with her kissing Max! I ship them so hard so I was so happy to see her 'choosing' him! However, I'm with people in general - this is the first episode of the second season and they're 'already together' so... Something tells me things won't go smoothly for them. But I'm okay with that, as long as they end up together in the end. We'll see what happens next episode.

Shadowhunters | No More Rants

Hello guys!

So, I told you I was going to make an announcement and here it is.

You already know what it is from the title so yes, I'm not doing Shadowhunters' rants anymore.

This decision came just in time, actually. I decided I was going to stop doing Shadowhunters' rants because I wasn't really doing well in Uni and, truth be told, Shadowhunters is my least favourite series from the ones that I rant about so when it came to deciding which one to 'give up' I had to go with Shadowhunters. And just as I made that decision, like a week or something after, it was announced that Shadowhunters was cancelled. I also found out that Will Tudor is not playing Sebastian/Jonathan anymore on the second part of the season so I was also really mad at the show for that so, everything happened at once and yeah, I reached this decision.

It just pains me because it was the only show that I started ranting since the very first season but, at the same time, I'm not even mad that it got cancelled and I'm not even trying to get it 'saved'.

Truth is, and I've said this many times on the blog, Shadowhunters isn't a good show. I am actually surprised it lasted this long! And yes, season 3 was somewhat interesting and for sure better than the first season but, overall, it's a bad show and I really don't think they're getting saved.

Most of the actors already have something else (Isaiah is playing Adult Mike on IT Chapter 2 and I'm so excited about that!) so yeah, this is really the end of Shadowhunters.

There's still going to be more 12 episodes that are going to air next year (if I'm not mistaken) but I'm not ranting about those.

This is my last post about Shadowhunters.

I'm sorry if I'm letting you down, but I really had to.

Shadowhunters | Season 3 Episode 9 & 10 - "Familia Ante Omnia" & "Erchomai"

Here it is, finally, the midseason rant of Shadowhunters.

As you might know, this was a two hour finale which means this rant will cover both episodes 9 and 10. This might end up a bit confusing since I saw both episodes in a row and I can't quite remember what happened in first one so, if I focus a lot more on the second episode, I'm sorry, but it was the one that stood out to me the most.

I'm going to try and talk first about episode 9 but I don't promise anything. So, the first episode basically showed everyone dealing with different things at the same time.

I might say that the story that I liked the most, and the one that I felt for the most was Simon. Obviously Heidi had to came back to mess things up and screw with Simon. It was really painful to see Simon go through all those things and then bite his own sister, as well as his mum wanting to kill him because Simon just isn't like that so I really felt for him.

Of course the other thing that was major in episode 9 was Valentine. We see Clary almost getting killed by the Clave but then working out a plan. She resurects Valentine in order to know why Lilith wanted his body and that's how she finds out everything about Jonathan. I was quite happy that Valentine was killed (again) in the end because we can't just go back to old storylines. That doesn't work for me. At least, not this way. Supernatural does it quite well, to be honest, but I don't trust Shadowhunters to do that so, just stick to the books, please.

Oh, and I have to mention Magnus and his quest to try and save Jace which continues on episode 10.

I'm going to take this and move to episode 10 right away.

I have to say that episode 9 was good and episode 10 was so much better! It wasn't surprising, I don't think they wanted that since they titled the episode "Erchomai" but it was well done and it had a solid storyline.

Since we were on Magnus topic, in episode 10 he goes to Edom to talk to his father, Asmodeus, and ask for help. This was the first time seeing Magnus dad so it was interesting.

At the same time, basically everyone was dealing with Lilith and Jace.

Before the final battles, I might add, we had some pretty cute Sizzy moments and I hope they develop them in the second part of the season because, truth be told, I'm just tired to wait for Sizzy to happen.

Izzy helps Simon with the issues with his mum and this gets even worse that in the last episode when Simon compels his mum to just forget him and believe that he died, which was so sad.

Unfortunatelly, he couldn't be sad that long because they had to deal with Lilith and since he's the only one that can send her back to Edom, he has to be there. Plus, when he finds out that Lilith has Clary he just agrees right away.

Izzy, Alec, Simon and Luke work on a plan to get inside the building where Lilith is but without hurting anyone nor Jace, since Simon's mark can kill basically everyone without him doing anything.

Their plan is actually pretty good - Alec vs Jace, Izzy and Luke vs all the 'demons' and Simon rescuing Clary.

I might say that the most nerve wrecking part was Alec vs Jace because, although Magnus appears just in time to bring the old Jace back, Jace as the Owl had already stabbed Alec and Magnus couldn't do anything because he trade his magic in order for his father to help bring Jace back. So, we are left with Alec dead. I would say that this death isn't premanent but... You never know.

As far as all the other 'fights', Izzy and Luke were quite good but they weren't the major thing and then Simon and Clary. Obviously we knew that Jonathan was going to be back and that Lilith was going away so... That's what happened. Lilith basically linked Jonathan to Clary so, as long as Clary lives, Jonathan lives too, which I'm quite happy, to be honest. But Simon ends up using his mark on Lilith and she's sent back to Edom (I think) and we see Jonathan grabbing Clary's wrist in the end, before the explosion that Simon's mark created.

Then, when Jace arrives at the top of the building, neither Clary nor Jonathan are there so... 

Simon says that she died but do you truly believe that?! Because I don't so, let's see what they do in the second part of the season.

Overall, I liked this ending. Not major nor surprising but it was good and, obviously, I'm so stoked to see Jonathan again! Can't wait for that!

Shadowhunters | Season 3 Episode 8 - "A Heart of Darkness"

As promised, here I am with the most recent Shadowhunters rant, finally!

I have to say that I'm quite happy with this episode. This was an episode that didn't have Clary that much and I guess that was the main reason why I liked it so much... You know, Clary is one of the most annoying characters ever but, unfortunatelly, she's the main character so you don't get an episode without her that much so this one was good because of that! And, not to jump too ahead but it ended with something that we have been 'waiting'/feeling for so long (at least, I know I did) - Death to Clary! Ok, I might be exagerating and I do know that they aren't going to kill her but still... It was kind of funny.

Anyway, steping back a little bit, the Clary storyline has this outcome because she is questioned by Jia Penhallow and she ends up telling everything about Jace and about the angel wish that she made (everything mainly because of the Soul Sword). That was basically it for Clary so let's move to Simon and Maia.

After Luke's request, Simon, Maia and Jordan go to the place where Lilith was to try and find some clues about her and what she has been doing. They actually end up finding that place with blood and, underneath it, some sort of cacoon which we know is keeping Jonathan/Sebastian. That also ends up in kind of a fight between Maia and Jordan, with Maia basically saying that she still feels something for Jordan. In the end of the episode, Maia decides to leave for a bit. (This was the person that I saw was leaving. Turns out she isn't exactly leaving the show, just town, I guess).

Still about Simon but also to do with Lilith - the later finds out that Simon has the Mark of Caim (as well as we find that out). We also learn that it is the only thing that can banish Lilith from earth and back to Edom so, this basically means that Simon is the only one that can 'kill her', which is something knew.

Because of that Lilith goes to the seelie realm and ends up killing most of the people there. Then, in order to save her own life, the Seelie Queen ends up telling Lilith where the Owl (aka Jace) is, which brings us the leads us to the last storyline of the episode.

With Magnus' help, Izzy and Alec go into Jace's mind in order to bring him back. When they find him, Alec see's that he has been forced to kill Clary repeatedly and has even tried to kill himself. Then, Jace begs for them to kill him but, of course, they don't and they promise that they will get him out. Just as this was about to happen Lilith appears, threatens Magnus and then leaves with Jace.

I have no idea what she's going to do with Jace, I just know that the next episode is the two hour mid-season finale and that means one thing - Sebastian is back! I just can't wait to have my cute little demon back!

Shadowhunters | Season 3 Episode 5 - "Stronger Than Heaven"

Hello people!

A little later than what I expected but here it is, just as promised, the new Shadowhunters rant.

I don't know if that's because I already have so low expectations about the show but this episode was surprisingly good! That's right, I said good. It wasn't like the best episode I've ever watched but, unlike in the previous ones, this had a good storyline, with not many things going on, but still with three different things happening and just really good character development which is something that I quite enjoy.

So, like I said, this episode focused mainly on three things (four if you count the Izzy mini storyline). I'm going to start with the easiest, which was Malec. Nonetheless, it was great and, as always, some of the best parts of the episodes. In this episode they just dealt with some jelousy and the fact that Magnus has some type of box with stuff from his previous relationships as well as he doesn't want to rush things up and move on with Alec, which was what Alec wanted. I gues there's going to be more problems with those two, since that's what happens in the books but, for now, they are 'good'. Not great because in the end of the episode we see Alec still down about the whole thing so that's kind of a hint that more stuff is about to happen but, since we're already on episode 5, I don't know if they're going to focus a lot on that. I mean, the truth is, Malec has been a big part of this season and they have been huge in every single episode so, I might be wrong. Who knows?

Anyway, the second main storyline in this episode was the whole Simon thing. Jace goes to him for some odd reason and they find out that Kyle isn't who he said he was and that he's in fact a wolf, which we already knew, but not just a random wolf. A wolf that protects others or something like that. They didn't explain it that well but I guess it's pretty simple. Of course Simon is mad about that, with reason but in the end of the episode he takes Kyle's apology and they are kind of fine. I'm still pretty confused about Kyle because I actually thought he was Maia's ex-boyfriend, even though I'm pretty sure she said his name was Jordan. I don't, I'm really confused. If you know anything about this or have any predictions just let me know, please.

And lastly, the main story of this episode was Clary trying to talk to Ithuriel. In order to do that, she goes to Luke asking to talk with his sister Cleophas and, in doing so, she tells Luke about everything that happened to Jace. It was about time she told someone, right? Anyway, they go to Cleophas but she says that she can't really talk to the angels since what happened with Valentine. But Cleophas thinks Clary can talk to Ithuriel since she has his blood in her veins so they do some type of ritual or something and Clary is, in fact, able to talk to him. The angel tells her that Jace isn't like that because of what she did but, because of that, he's vulnerable to a lot of things. Clary thinks right away about the Owl and that's when Ithuriel says that the Owl has a master and, as he's about to say it's name, Lilith kills the angel and takes a scratch of Clary's soul in order to put it in a anti-love spell to give Jace.

In the end, Lilith give it to Jace and that's it. Jace no longer loves Clary. 

Like I said, overall, this episode looked good. It was interesting and it kept the story going without mixing too many things, which is what I've complaint in the past episodes.

Shadowhunters | Season 3 Episode 4 - "Thy Soul Instructed"

Just as promised here I am with the Shadowhunters rant.

Well, you might have already guessed what I'm about to say - yes, this wasn't a great episode.

I know I keep saying the same damn things but, the truth is, they keep getting it wrong. Just like in the last episode, this one had too much going on and some stuff weren't really that well explained. This time, I gotta say, the only thing that I kind of liked was Kyle who, I don't know if I'm wrong but isn't him Maia's ex-boyfriend? I don't know, I'm a bit confused. Let me know what you know about that.

Well, overall, I feel like all the characters have been really bad this season, apart from Alec and Magnus. I feel like Maled is the best thing in Shadowhunters right now. Not only their relationship is so beautiful and pure but also Matt and Harry's is the best of all the cast. I might also say that I've been liking Luke, athough he's not really that major right now. But I feel like he does what his character is supposed to do and, from the ending of this episode, is seems like something major is happening/going to happen between him, Kyle and Simon so, let's see where this goes.

I would also say that Dominic has also been doing a great job with this Jace, I'm just not a fan of how everything is going with his character and the storyline. Like I said in my previous rant, I feel like they're going too fast with this storyline and, once again, I know that they have to move on with the story because in episode 10 Sebastian/Jonathan is reborn but... They could spend more time devolopping the storyline, instead of filling the episodes with other not so important and not well written stories like, for example, Raphael's story.

Raphael's story was the worst thing in this episode! Besides it being like completely out of nowhere, they didn't explain it at all! I was so lost when that girl was talking about what he did to her because they never really explained or showed it. This was probably an editing mistake but it was an huge mistake and maybe that's the reason why, in the end, the girl just left and Izzy just told Raphael to go away.

Oh, talking about Isabelle... I'm also really disappointe with her character. Not that it's Emeraude's fault, it isn't! She's an amazing actress but the way the writters are writting her character is just wrong! I didn't read the books but, from what I've seen people talking about, Izzy in the books is way cooler and more badass and this Izzy is just dull. Plus, where is Sizzy?! I have no idea where they come up in the book but everyone is waiting for it and I feel like the writters just don't want to give it to us so... Yeah, this writters are awful!

Well, I guess that's pretty much it. Simon is also one of those characters that I'm enjoying, alongside with Magnus and Alec and, I know I didn't mention Clary but don't even get me started! I feel like she was better on Season 2 but in this season she's back to being annoying... I'm sorry, that's just my opinion.

Shadowhunters | Season 3 Episode 3 - "What Lies Beneath"

Hello everyone!

As I said, here I am with a new Shadowhunters rant.

Well, unfortunately, I can't say that this episode was as good as the last one, because it wasn't. I would say it was as good as the first one. Like I said in my first Season 3 review, I thought this episode had too many stories going on and, because all the lore that the show is already based on, it was  bit difficult to keep track of everything. Plust, there's some things from previous seasons that I don't remember anymore and just throw things and they should really just explain a bit more, in my opinion.

Anyway so, this episode keeps going with all the dreams that Jace have been having and he finally tells everything to Clary. To be honest, I thought they would drag this out a little longer but, truth is we only have 10 episodes with that storyline because, after that, Jonathan/Sebastian is back and so will Jace's dreams so I get it, I just thought it would last a little longer.

Then, Clary also tells Izzy about it and the fact that Jace thinks the Owl attacking people is in fact Jonathan which, in the end, they realize is isn't because Izzy got him in her wip and it didn't do anything to him (because of the electrum) and, jumping a little ahead, we then 'find out' that the Owl is Jace but... I don't know guys. I'm so confused about this. Last season's storyline seemed pretty simple compared to this one thought. Well, I like to me surprised so that's kind of good but, overall, I'm just really confused about this reveal so I'm going to be waiting for it to turn out into something else.

Besides this main storyline, there were some little ones in the episode, such as Simon and the mark that the Seelie Queen put in his forehead. He kept searching for and they found out it isn't a rune so then he tried to go to Raphael but Simon ended up attacking or, should I say, the thing in his forehead attacked Raphael so he just left. He then tried to go to the Seelie Queen but he found out that he was 'locked out' of the glade so... We didn't find much about it.

And then, the best part of the episode really, as usual, as the Malec parts of the episode. I've said this before but I'll say it again, Matthew Daddario has improved so much his acting! The bond between Alec and Magnus is so much stronger and they actually feel comfortable around eachother and that just makes their relationship more believable so I'm pretty happy how this is going for those two.

He had some big reveals in that dinner that, to be honest, I think were just to 'let us know' that Maryse won't be around for a bit but I might be wrong.

Well, I guess that's pretty much it for this episode.

That ending left me really confused but I'm so ready to have Jonathan/Sebastian back! I can't wait!

Shadowhunters | Season 3 Episode 2 - "The Powers That Be"

Hello guys and here it is the second rant of the day!

This time I have some good things for you.

That's right, this week's episode of Shadowhunters was way better than the previous one! Seriously, so much better! This episode focused a lot more on just a few storylines, which I pointed out that there were too many in the first episode, so this time the few stories made it better and overall the feel of this episode was pretty different than all the other seasons. I feel like this episode was a lot more light and funny. Shadowhunters should do this more often!

The episode focused mainly on Magnus and Alec, which I appreciated. Also, with that, I could see a lot of improvement from Matthew Daddario! Not that he was a bad actor, but in this episode he was really great and he deserves a round of applause for everything that he did in the episode. Magnus aka Harry was also amazing, but he always is so I thought I didn't need to point that out.

While there was this happening between Magnus and Alec, like all the things with Lorenzo, we also moved a little forward with the Lilith storyline. Not a lot, but this was nice, just a tiny bit, to keep us guessing. It's true that I wish we knew just a little bit more about her and her plans but that's fine, I'm ok with it.

We also saw some more of Clace, when they went out on a date that didn't go that well after they meet with Simon and Maia at the restaurant. This also brought up the fact that Jace and Maia slept with each other in the previous season, which was something that us fans have been wondering about for quite some time.

Truth be told, I don't know what else to say about this episode. I just know I really enjoyed it! That ending was quite something and it just made me love Malec even more! I hope we get to see them more often. Oh, and I was almost forgetting, Magnus also mention Asmodeus and the fact that he's his father, which was also something that I've seen some fans talk about.

Well, I guess that's pretty much it. I don't know what else to say so I'll leave it up to you.

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 20 - "Beside Still Water"

Hello guys!

So here it is, the final Shadowhunters rant for this season.

First of all I want to say sorry for posting this quite late but I've been on holidays (once again) and just today I got time to watch the episode. You have no idea how hard it was to not see spoilers but I managed not to so I have a fully (complete) review for you.

I must start this rant with the first thing that I noticed about this episode - the cinematography!

Basically the whole episode had amazing shots and angles which I loved, but mostly the first few scenes (the Sebastian ones) looked so beautiful! Seriously, congrats to Matt Hastings who directed the episode because it really looked perfect!

Since we are already on the 'Sebastian topic', I got to say that I kind of already new about this scene (they posted a little bit on Instagram) but I wasn't really expecting the whole Edom thing and demons coming out of that hole. Still, I loved it and it was really nice to know that, from what I could see, Will Tudor (and Sebastian) is going to stick around for Season 3, which leaves me really happy.

Moving on, I need to say that, throught the whole episode, all I could think about was the person that was going to die, which they kept on teasing throught the past couple of weeks and then, I just felt betrayed. 

Maybe I'm the only one feeling this way (please, tell me if you feel like me so I won't feel alone), but I feel like they 'played' us. They kept on saying that someone from the Main Cast was going to die and, yes Jace did die, but not really. We all knew that, in the end, he was going to live, not only because the scene with the angel happened in the books, but also because Dominic already talked about filming Season 3. Ok, Valentine died (apparently) but he wasn't like a major character... He was the bad guy and basically everyone wanted him dead, so it wasn't that sad so, for me, it doesn't count.

The only good part of this whole thing was, like I said, the scene that was in the books and that, from what I know, they kept true to them (somehow).

I also need to mention that, the fact that I was always waiting for someone to die, kept me out of my sit because I was just nervous and curious about what was going to happen, like in that Magnus/Alec/Izzy scene. Because I thought Izzy could be the one to die, I was really afraid for her in that scene. Also, because I didn't know much about Harry, I also thought Magnus could die, so all the Malec scenes were kind of nerve wrecking for me, but I really enjoyed them nonetheless. Plus, I was really happy that they worked things out by the end of the episode.

And, before I end the rant, I need to talk about the whole Luke/Maia/Simon and the Seelie Queen 'problem'. It kind of worked out in the end but, once again, throught all those scenes I kept thinking about Luke because I also thought he could be one to die. Also, the whole Simon thing, it was pretty obvioust he made a deal or something with the Queen which pissed me off a little bit but also left me wondering if Sarah Hyland is going to stick around for Season 3. Maybe not, because the Queen can change her form so... We'll see.

Well, now there's just left to talk about the very last scene, which was Sebastian's mum coming out of 'hell' and, probably, bringing him back. I must say that it was a pretty good cliffhanger, in my opinion, because it left us wondering who that person is (my bet is on Jocelyn, since she's Jonathan's mother afterall) and if she is really bringing Sebastian/Jonathan back, which I hope so, because I'm not ready to say goodbye to Sebastian (also, I hope they keep Will Tudor, because he's amazing as Sebastian/Jonathan).

That's pretty much it.

Overall, I feel like the episode was good, althought I also feel like they kind of tricked me, which I didn't really like. Still, it was a good episode and I'm looking forward to the next season!

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 19 - "Hail and Farewell"

Oh My God you guys, this episode!

I'm so glad I have this blog and seriously, today, I couldn't wait to talk to you.

First of all, that ending! I'm sorry if I'm sounding too much of a fangirl, I'm going to try and keep it low a little bit but really, this episode was something else, mostly because of the last scenes.

You know what is coming. Yes, I'm going to start of right away with Sebastian/Jonathan. I must say that that fight scene between Jace and Jonathan was quite good and probably the best fight scene that the show had so far (the Sebastian/Jonathan one last episode doesn't count because that was basically him slaughtering everyone so, it wasn't really a fight). But, you know, the outcome of the fight wasn't the one that I expected. I was really devastated when I saw that Sebastian was 'really' dead (and I say 'really' because I have some theories for you in the end of the post about that subject). Sebastian/Jonathan is my favourite character in the series (so far) and I was really hoping for Will Tudor to stick around for Season 3. He wasn't even in a full season! If this was really his last episode, he was in 9 episodes, not even 10 so, obviously, I'm not okay with it.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, we should get back to the beginning of the episode.

The episode started with my favourite duo - Valentine and Jonathan. Their scenes were the best ones in this episodes but, to be honest, I always like their interations. I think you can really see how talented Alan and Will are and their scenes just work beautifully.

We see them having to change the plan, move out of Sebastian's house and then we see the 'gang' (Izzy, Clary and Jace) finding the real Sebastian Verlac dead. He then shifts to a demon but they quickly get that out of the way and kill him which, to be completely fair, was kind of a downside for me. Like, they spent an whole episode trying to kill one of those demons a few episodes ago and now they just kill it like that?! Doesn't really make sense to me but, at least, Izzy said that they already knew how to kill it so, I can forgive that.

Moving on, it was nice to see them worried about a funeral and informing Sebastian Verlac's real family about his death, that was a nice touch, and then we get into the 'juice' of the episode.

We see all that happened between the Downworlders and the Seelie Queen. We see that 'child' again, which really annoys me and, on top of that, I got really sad with Magnus because he's basically the reason why all of this (the Seelie Queen part) is happening. I know that Alec did him wrong and all that, but really, Magnus could've now join the Seelie Queen. And then, because of him, and because of something that he told Luke (that we still don't know about), Luke and Raphael joined her as well.

The only good part about all this is Sarah Hayland. I really enjoyed her as the Seelie Queen, so much better then the other girl. I'm really sorry, but Sarah being the Seelie Queen works out so much better for me, I really hope they keep her. 

And since we're already on that topic, that interaction between Simon and the Seelie Queen was also pretty good! Again, someone that I always enjoy their scenes is Simon. I don't know if it is me that I really like his character or if Alberto is really that good (maybe it's both) but I always enjoy Simon's scenes. I liked particularlly when he told the Seelie Queen that she should get used to get 'no's', brilliant!

Okay, now let's talk about Clace.

I'm not a big Clace shipper but I get it. What I don't get were some of the Clace scenes in this episode.

First, that scene where Clary is looking for a place to put a rune on Jace was so unnecessary. It was pretty and all, with both of them glowing and all that slow-motion and the music but, really?!Really?! Was all that necessary? Once again, I get that it was to make Clace fans happy but I just think they could've done something else and maybe take a little less time, because that scene was a little too long.

That was the main issue for me in terms of Clace scenes and in scenes in general.

There was another scene that I think was great but it was little 'underwhelmed' which was when Izzy 'fights' Sebastian. It was pretty cool to see Izzy as a strong women and a strong character, but if you think about it, she didn't really do much, and I think Izzy could do so much better!

Then, I've already talked about the Sebastian scene that left me shredded so let's jump to the very last scene before I dive into predictions.

Once again, that last scene was something that I really enjoyed. I wasn't a big fan of Valentine but I think now, with this whole Jonathan storyline, I started to appreciate him a lot more. He's a character that you never know what to count from, like that scene when he told Jonathan he would come back for him and all that. I was really confused and I didn't know if he was saying the truth or not, so that's good, in my opinion.

Anyway, so Valentine went to talk with the Seelie Queen and he basically made her an offer that she clearly accepted so, I'm really curious to know what he told her. At first, I thought he was going to say to bring back Jonathan because she's the Seelie Queen and she can do all (I think) but I think that's not what he told her so, I think we are going to have to way to find out.

Now, getting into predictions!

I still stand by my last rant and say that it's either Luke or Izzy to die in the finale because 1) I don't think Sebastian is dead and 2) Even if he does, he sure isn't the big death so, I still bet on those two.

About Sebastian/Jonathan... 

This may come accross to you as spoilers and, I always have this in the beginning of the rants but really, if you don't want to know more than what I said already, don't read this, because this may be some huge spoilers.

So, me being the huge fan of Sebastian/Jonathan that I am, of course I wasn't okay with his death (as I already mentioned) and, at first, I really thought he was dead like, how could he not?! Plus, I know that they already started filming season 3 and Will Tudor is still in London so he must be, for sure, out of the series, right?! Well... That's when I started thinking.

First, Will said in an aftershow that we were going to see two different sides of Jonathan in the final two episodes, which lead me to think that he's in both episodes.

Second, I started wondering how 'permanet' and how 'damaging' that really was because he couldn't die with just that! I mean, you can't do 'better' than a sword through the heart but we're talking about Sebastian/Jonathan! The big bad and basically a demon so, that's when I remember to check out IMDB. I know that IMDB isn't always right but it is most of the times so I decided to check out the actors list in the next episode and guess what?! Will is in it! But that's not all! I then looked at his character and it says Jonathan / Lucifer! Lucifer! Freaking Lucifer! Damn! If IMDB is right this is going to be huge and I'm already so stoked for the season finale!

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 18 - "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen"

Hello everyone! Here I am with a brand new Shadowhunters rant!

I never thought I would say this about Shadowhunters but the series is getting really good! I find myself every week craving a new episode, when usually I would be kind of anoyed that there was a new episode to watch and, although I shouldn't really say this, I never really wanted to talk about the episodes here because they were just plain boring and bad. But right now, I really want to talk about them, and you may have already notice it because my Shadowhunters rants have been increasing in size.

I know that the main reason why this is happening is Sebastian aka Will Tudor. I always say this - a season is as good as it's villain - and that's exactly what is happening in this Part B of Shadowhunters. Sebastian/Jonathan is that good of a villain and that makes everything better! Besides, you know I have a soft spot for bad guys and psychopaths so I get even more attached to this characters.

Anyway, let's talk about the proper episode because that's what you're here for.

For me, this episode had two main storylines - Malec and Sebastian/Jonathan.

Let's talk about Jonathan first because I want to leave the cute stuff for the end (and also because I just can't wait to talk about my baby).

The last episode ended with Max finding out about Sebastian being in fact Jonathan. Of course, Jonathan being Jonathan (and being a demon) he had to do something about it and he knocked out Max. At first I thought it was just that, but I guess when he went there the second time he did something to him so it would be like very difficult for him to wake up.

Throughout the whole episode I just kept grinning because we, as an audience, we knew that Sebastian was really Jonathan, and his plan was working pretty well. I was seriously amazed at how everything was working out really smoothly for him. No one suspected it was him! He got to know about the whole plan, find out where the Mortal Mirror was, get away from the security cameras, trick Jace and that fight scene! Can we talk about that fight scene?! I love me some badass guys, even more when they're actually evil! Of course we can't really compare this fight scenes to Arrow's fight scenes, for example, but I believe this was one of the best from this show! And then, he got the Mirror and I was pretty happy about that!

Then, Clary talks about all that stuff about eletron and that's when it came to my mind all those scenes where Sebastian was ironing his hand and all that. He has been practicing his pain tolerance besides, like he said, he was in Edom so he even enjoyed the pain so, I knew he was fine.

But, this episode being one of the last ones for this season, something had to go wrong and Clary suspected him and she saw his burning hand. That's when everything goes downhill and she finds out, he looses the Mortal Mirror and basically everyone ends up finding about him. 

The thing that surprised me the most was the very end, when Clary finds out that the Mirror that she ended up turning to ashes, wasn't the real Mortal Mirror and that the real Mirror is in fact Lake Lyn. That really surprised me, but in a good way though. I always said that that mirror was like a tiny thing and didn't look that special, now I get it. Lake Lyn looks a lot more like a magical thing, althought I was expecting a real mirror, just a more special one.

Anyway, I also have to mention that Max was fine in the end, which I also suspected. This also means that is going to be someone else to die in the season finale. I'm just going to say my thoughts right now and end the rant with a kind of good note.

So, here's my theory, it is going to be either Izzy, Alec, Magnus or Luke. At first, I thought that it couldn't be anyone that was in San Diego Comic Con, but then it left me with only Raphael, Sebastian/Jonathan and Maia, that's why I said Maia in my last rant. Then, I realized it couldn't be her because she was just promoted to Main Cast, so they can't kill her off. This would leave me with only Raphael and Sebastian, and Sebastian will probably die and if he, in fact does, it won't be like sad for the characters, which Kat said it would be sad, neither would it sad if it was Raphael so it as to be someone from the Main Cast, the cast that was at Comic Con.

After realizing that, I went to see who as been talking about Season 3 on social media and the only ones that haven't said anything about starting filming are Emeraude, Matt, Harry and Isaiah. Harry kind of said something but I'm not sure. Right now my bet would be on either Izzy or Luke to die. Let's see. Let me know your thoughts.

So, let's talk about something good now - Malec.

Malec was so damn cute in this episode! All those flashbacks, mainly those ones in the bed were really good. My favourite scene this episode must have been that one when Alec says that Magnus' cat eyes are beautiful. That was a beautiful scene! Unfortunatelly, it had to end badly because Magnus chose to join the Seelie Queen, that b*tch. I really dislike her. Can't wait to see Sarah Hayland as her thought.

And well, that was pretty much it. There was that whole thing with Maia, Simon and Luke and the new werewolf. Oh, and we can't forget about Luke's partner that finds out about the werewolves, that is going to be a problem!

I guess that's it guys! Next episode is going to be the second to last this season and I'm seriously really excited! I just hope Sebastian doesn't die because I love him and Will Tudor is freaking amazing so, fingers crossed Sebastian/Jonathan doesn't die!
