American Horror Story: 1984 | Season 9 Episode 4 - "True Killers"

Hello everybody and yes I'm finally here with the American Horror Story rant!

I guess I could say that now is when the season is really starting.

No, but seriously, I felt like this episode was the end of Part 1 of the season, where we saw the slasher aspect of it and now we are getting into Part 2, with the whole ghosts and Satan and whatever is going on with that.

This episode actually starts with a flashback of how Montana and Ramirez met, which was during one of her aerobics class, and where they became lovers right away. We also found out why she wants Ramirez to kill Brooke and that was kind predictable - it was because of the whole Brooke wedding thing in which Montana's brother died (he was the one that slept with Brooke and she denied that they did).

Back to present day, we follow Xavier, Trevor and Chet who leave Chet in the infirmary and go look for Bertie and Margaret, Xavier and Trevor respectively. 

Xavier finds Bertie in the kitchen and he tells her about Mr. Jingles, right when the later arrives in the kitchen and, for a moment, they were kind of fine, but he discovers Xavier and he attacks not only Xavier but also Bertie. He puts Xavier in the oven and stabs Bertie. Luckily, Bertie doesn't really die and she's able to save Xavier, just to ask him to kill her so she won't suffer.

Meanwhile, Brooke falls into a trap set by Donna and later on is found by Ramirez after the later being tipped of by Montana. Luckily (for Brooke) Mr Jingles appears and Ramirez and Jingles fight each-other, leaving room for Brooke to find a way out of the trap and run away. Mr Jingles kills Ramirez and go after Margaret.

That's when we find out the truth - that Margaret was the killer all along and that Mr Jingles never did it. It wasn't a surprise, really. Everyone have been suspecting that so... It was nice to be right though.

Anyway, post that, Margaret kills Mr Jingles and, after hearing the gunshots, Trevor goes look for Margaret and this ungrateful b*tch kills him. I know there's something going on with those who die in the camp and that most likely he will be back but I was annoyed because I was really liking to see Matthew Morrison in this character.

Somehow, all the remaining group meet up in the parking lot where Margaret lies that tells them that Jingles killed Trevor. 

And, to end the episode with a bang, Donna witnesses Ramirez being revived by a supernatural force.

I still think that there's more to it that Satan or something like that but, you never know with American Horror Story. I just know that now it's going to get interesting because I have no idea where this is going now. I get a bit of Cabin in The Woods vibe but we'll see.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 1 - "Back and to the Future"

Hello guys and Welcome to the beginning of the end.

That's right, Supernatural is back with it's final season and it gives you a bittersweet feeling. I'm super stoked that one of my favorite series is back but, at the same time, you just can't get out of your mind that this will be the last season and that just puts you down right away. I'm sure it hit me harder because it's the first episode and, as soon as the season starts to picks up, I will forget about it and I'll only be reminded once it gets to the final three episodes.

But anyway, I'm here to talk about the final season premiere and that's what we're going to do.

The season picks up right where the last one ended and we see the Winchesters and Castiel barricade themselves inside a mausoleum in an attempt to get away from the 'zombies' outside (irony because their dad is in The Walking Dead, I just can't help but find that kind of funny). 

For a moment I had completely forgotten that Jack had died but that was short-lived (kind of). Jack did not exactly got back to life but he was possessed by the demon Belphegor who, I might tell you already, I'm starting to be a big fan of. It's weird to see Alex play anyone other than Jack (even if I did see him before on Arrow playing another character) but this demon is so damn funny and Alex does an amazing job portraying him so, as much as I love Jack and I want him back, I'm fine with having Alex play this demon for a while.

Anyway so Belphegor offers to help blasting the souls out of the reanimated corpses and that's what he does. After that, they realize what they really are up against this season - all the souls and creatures that they sent to hell throughout the years so they come up with a plan to keep all the ghosts in one town and evacuate all the people in that town.

At the same time they do that, some familiar ghosts appear and attack our heroes - Constance Welch (the woman in white), John Wayne Gacy and Mary Worthington (who I refuse to spell the way we know her - yes, I'm superstitious like that). Even with all those ghosts getting in the way, they successfully, get everyone out of the town and Belphegor does the spell that traps all the ghosts in said town.

But, if all of this wasn't enough, there's something else wrong - Sam. After shooting god Sam got shot himself also (as we knew he would) but the gunshot wound is different and not only Castiel isn't able to heal it but he also got a strange feeling from it so, I bet that's going to tie with the end of the season and, I might be reading too much into it but my theory is that Sam is going to die in the end. There's no way it all ends well so yeah, my bet, for now, is that Sam is going to be the one to die.

And well, the episode basically ends like that, with the brothers agreeing to face this 'end of the world' again and being free from God once and for all. 

I liked this first episode. It gave me a lot of season 1 vibes, not only with the ghosts that were in that same season but also all the atmosphere and the scares which I have to say, the first seasons were way scarier that this last ones. All in all, great season premiere, I'm going to be waiting for me.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2 | Season 34 Episode 7 - "Zero Dark Turbo"

Hello guys!

As promised, here I am again, today, with another rant - The Challenge this time.

Although this was a good episode, I feel like nothing will be as good as the first ones when all the 'major players' were going into elimination and going home. Yes, there was huge drama in this episode and that kept me wondering the whole time, but in the end, it wasn't that surprising or shocking so... I'm a tiny bit disappointed.

I didn't have much hope for the UK Team this week. I feel like every week I say that the UK Team is going to win the challenge and that never happens so I basically gave up on them. And from the previews it didn't look like they were going to win so... Yeah, I was right to not have faith in them because they didn't win - the USA did. However, even winning, they had to start a fight, and here comes the drama that I was talking about.

Basically Turbo was being Turbo and kicking stuff and whatnot and Jordan, being the cocky guy that he is, the go annoyed with it and had to say something, and of course not in the nicest way. Turbo isn't one to stay quiet so he answered in the same way Jordan approached him and that started an huge fight. Nothing really major happen but they kept a grudge throughout the whole episode, that until Tori talked with Turbo and Turbo agreed to drop it if Jordan apologized.

I have to say, they did an amazing job on keeping us on the edge because they didn't show the apologize until the Tribunal (Zach, Tori and Turbo) said who they were going to through into elimination. Needless to say that Turbo wanted to choose Jordan but Jordan did apologize to Turbo and so they all sent in Joss, the UK's strongest player, in their opinion.

As for the UK Team, there was huge drama as well because it was basically Bear against Rogan and, this time, CT did have to take a side, something that he didn't want to do yet. He voted for Bear, as well as a lot of other people so Bear was the one sent in by the UK Team. And so it was Joss vs Bear, on a physical challenge.

You would think that Joss would win... And you're totally right, he did, but Bear gave a pretty good performance as well and I was kinda sad to see him go, but either way, I would be fine.

Next episode doesn't look that interesting but let's see...

The Flash | Season 6 Episode 1 - "Into the Void"

Hello everybody!

I know, I'm kind of late with this rant but the good thing is that there's going to be a ton of rants on the blog today, so wait for them. Also, The Flash is back! I have to say, I was (and still am, to be honest) pretty stoked with this years Arrow-verse series, mainly because of Crisis on Infinite Earths, so I had high expectations for this season premiere.

Well, it was an okay premiere, in my opinion. There was nothing wrong with it, but most of the things that happened were already hinted at during interviews and stuff, so I was expecting most of it. However, I do think this was a nice base for everything that is to come, not only this season, but in the crossover.

We meet this years big bad pretty quickly and, although they do not face him in this episode, we can already tell that he's nuts and I'm curious to see what the writers do with him.

Instead of this season's big bad, Team Flash faces another type of threat - a guy that is connected to black holes and make them happen throughout the city at random times. Please don't tell me to explain this even further because, to be completely honest, this was the part of the episode that confused me the most. All I know is that it was a difficult threat to beat but, of course, knowing Team Flash, they were able to.

Apart from that we also got 'introduced' to Caitlin's new story-line this season, which is basically being Killer Frost more often and just giving her the 'wheel', which means this season we are going to have a lot more Killer Frost than Caitlin, which I don't mind. We also saw her new suit, which is super dope.

Since we're talking about suits, Barry also has a new suit and I'm so glad he does because I really didn't like last season's suit. But this season he has a new one and I like it, there's not a big difference but it's enough of a difference that makes me like this one a lot more.

And yeah, there wasn't much more in this episode. They talked about Iris and Barry missing Nora, which is something that I don't really care, to be honest with you and they also touched on the fact that Cisco is not Vibe anymore, which makes me sad, but at least he's still in the Team. We didn't have Tom Cavanagh in this episode, who I missed, to be honest, so I hope we get so see him soon and find out who he's playing this season.

American Horror Story: 1984 | Season 9 Episode 3 - "Slashdance"

Hello!

Yes, I'm back already with a new rant - American Horror Story this time.

I'm happy to report that this season is getting better. I noticed that in the last episode but this episode really sealed it and I'm really glad that's the case because I was getting a little sad that this season wasn't going to be good. But, if this keeps getting better, I'm hopeful.

We learn in the beginning of the episode who is being chased by who and so Brooke, Chet, Rita and Ray are being chased by the Night Stalker while Montana, Xavier and Trevor by Mr. Jingles. 

I don't even know where to start because so much happened but basically the Night Stalker almost gets Ray but Chet goes to his rescue and so, the first group runs to the parking lot. Unfortunately, both Ray and Chet fall into a pit and Chet gets impaled, not dying, but getting really injured and with no way out.

As for Montana, Xavier and Trevor, they realize that they were only 'attacked' by fake Mr. Jingles and that is, until the real Mr. Jingles kills the two imitators. 

Back in the parking lot, Brooke and Rita are the only ones to make it there and, after waiting a while, Brooke wants to call the police. That's when Rita drugs her and we see a flashback of the whole plan that Rita and Mr. Jingles had. The plan is mainly Rita's, who wants to see Mr. Jingles in his 'habitat' in order to develop her masters in psychology - the first twist of the episode.

While running away from Mr. Jingles, Montana, Xavier and Trevor find the real Nurse Rita who then attempts to run away just to be killed by Mr. Jingles in the end.

Post this, it's time for another flashback, this time Ray's. We learn that he agreed to go to the camp because he basically killed a guy at his fraternity and is running away from the law. He tells all this to Chet, while in the pit and, because he did so, he decides to leave Chet behind. That's when he runs into Montana, Xavier and Trevor, who gives Ray the keys to his motorcycle, and orders him and Montana to go to a phone. 

Trevor and Xavier go find Margaret and the Chef and that's when they find Chet in the pit. They are able to get in out and then they end up killing the last Mr. Jingles imitator.

Montana and Ray are ambushed by the Night Stalker, and Ray abandons Montana, only to be decapitated by Mr. Jingles (the first 'major' kill of the series). Post this, the last big twist - Montana and the Night Stalker struggle just to end up kissing and revealing that they are allies, and most likely trying to kill Brooke.

As I said in the beginning, I'm pretty happy with this episode. I kind of saw that Rita twist coming but the last one with Montana and the Night Stalker I had no idea, and I'm pretty stoked about it!

The rant is already too long so I'm going to leave it at that.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2 | Season 34 Episode 6 - "One Nation Under Leroy"

Hello guys!

I'm back with a new The Challenge rant but, this time, a not so exciting one.

That's right, The Challenge basically got back to it's usual 'format' and this episode didn't have much surprises. It did still have drama, but the last few episodes have been 'action packed' and this one didn't, so it was a bit of a let down.

This week's challenge was Trivia, my favorite, but this time it was actually hard.

Usually I make a lot of fun of them because they are extremely stupid and dumb but I can't do it now. There were a few questions that were pretty hard and, apart from Nicole saying that 5 minutes are 50 seconds, nobody else said anything scandalous. And well, that is why Nicole was sent to the elimination.

Yest, I'm skipping a lot things but basically the UK lost the challenge and so they had to pick someone to go into elimination, which was Nicole.

As for the USA Team, they had to choose a Tribunal, which they had already picked even before the actual challenge - Nanny the speaker, and then Leroy and Ninja.

I had my hopes up with this Tribunal. I really wanted them to send Cara into elimination but Leroy started this whole thing about them forgetting the past and really play as a Team, so they did that... For this episode, at least. Let's see for how long this goes. And so the drama that happened was really between choosing Jenny, a strong player, or Esther, a weak player. Ninja, as well as the majority of Team USA, wanted to through Jenny in because they want to get rid of the UK's strong players, but Nanny, looking out for herself, wanted to through Esther because she was sure that Jenny was coming back, which leads me to the Elimination.

Jenny ended up being the one to go against Nicole (since Leroy went with her) and yes, you guessed it right, Jenny came back and Nicole was sent home. That was expected, to be honest, and Nanny did right in not throwing her in. I mean, Jenny doesn't strike me as the vengeance type, but you never know.

And well, that was basically it for this episode. As I said in the beginning, this wasn't the most exciting episode of all (I really wanted Cara to go home) but hopefully the next one will be good. From the preview it looks like some drama between Jordan and Turbo is going to go down and heck, I hope Paulie goes home. Yes, you're going to see me wishing both Cara and Paulie go home until they do, because I just can't stand them.

American Horror Story: 1984 | Season 9 Episode 2 - "Mr. Jingles"

Hello everybody!

Yes, I am aware that I am so late with this rant, and I could make up a lot of excuses like other stuff to do (which I had but that's not why I didn't post this earlier) but I really didn't like the first episode that much so I wasn't that excited about this one. I still am not that excited for future episodes, to be honest, but this one was a lot more interesting.

What really intrigued me about this episode was how fast everything went. Usually we take a lot of time and build up, sometimes to a point where it's dragging, but right now everything is happening really fast which makes me curious. I am 99% sure that there's a twist coming and I'm looking forward to it. We already got a glimpse that something is up in this episode so... I'm curious. I still can't stand the cheesiness, to be honest, but that's fine, it's just my personal taste.

This episode is called "Mr. Jingles" and, although it does start with 'Mr. Jingles' killing the psychiatrist, I think this is mainly foreshadowing that 'Mr. Jingles' isn't the person that we think it is but, in fact, Margaret. Yes, I said it. I think everyone thinks this right now and this episode really proved that point and showed why people are suspicious - first that talk with Richard Ramirez that was extremely creepy and weird, and then the talk with the guy from 1970 who says that he didn't see Mr. Jingles but he saw Margaret so... Everything points to her.

Apart from that, we got a few flashbacks, which a lot of people also said we were going to have - one about Brooke and her wedding that went wrong (which just didn't make sense and didn't add anything to the story, in my opinion) and another about Richard Ramirez, which didn't add much to the story either.

We also found out who was the person that Xavier got a message on the phone last episode - a man named Blake who made Xavier act in gay porn.

All of this looked way too simple and they basically gave us all this answers, and we're only in episode 2 so there's no way there's a big twist coming. 

The episode ends with the group splitting  into two groups to get the keys of their vehicles but getting trapped inside their cabins with someone banging on the doors.

Like I said before, everything looks way too easy and too complete like, it's only episode 2 and it looks like their going to get killed next episode so... I really want to see what they come up with this season. I hope it is better than the ending of last season. But that's basically it for me. It was, for sure, better than last episode but I'm still on defense.
