Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 14 - "Last Holiday"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

That's right, I'm back with my reviews and what better way to come back than with Supernatural!

I must say, it's a bit odd not only coming back writing after all this time but also writing for Supernatural. I have been writing, but mainly for The Challenge, which is a completely different show, and writing for a scripted show is a bit different. Also, the last Supernatural episode aired in March and this is still the same Season and the same story so it was a bit difficult to get the hang of it when this new episode started. Nonetheless, I'm so happy that one of my favorite shows is back and I'm so happy to be writing again.

This week's episode was a bit of a filler one, which makes me feel mixed emotions. On one hand we only have seven episodes left so they shouldn't be wasting time on filler episodes but, on the other hand, this episode was so cute and so wholesome and, in a way, the perfect episode for the 'come back'. I don't know... That's just how I feel. But anyway so, this episode follows basically the brothers (obviously) after having some plumbing issues in the bunker, pushing the 'reset' button and releasing a wood nymph named Mrs. Butters who used to serve the Men of Letters before they were wiped out by Abaddon. With Mrs. Butters in the picture, the work is so much easier and the Winchesters are able to, not only go on multiple successful hunts but also celebrate several holidays, and that's the part that makes this episode so wholesome. But, of course, things can't be that easy so something goes wrong and Jack finds a dark past of Mrs. Butters.

Jack finds out that the Men of Letters tortured Mrs. Butters so much that she started seeing the threats only as good or bad and, perceiving Jack as a threat to the boys, she locks him up and tries to get Dean to kill Jack. However, Dean doesn't do it so he ends up locked with Jack. Post that, she goes to Sam but, of course, he doesn't want to kill Jack either so she tortures him, which make for some pretty gruesome and gory scenes which, personally, I loved (I was just kind of surprised they did that for a PG show and one that airs on prime-time).

Dean and Jack break out and convince Mrs. Butters that she is wrong and was only used by the Men of Letters, which makes her stand down. Post that, Mrs. Butters go back to the woods, where she belonged and the episode ends in a pretty nice note with Dean throwing Jack a birthday party and making in a cake, which wasn't the best but was so adorable and, again, so wholesome.

As I said, this episode is pretty much a filler, but I guess we needed this so, I'm not that mad that the story didn't develop. And I mean, that's what we think, maybe this is important to the story, who knows...

Anyway, so this are my thoughts on the new Supernatural episode. I'm sorry if I my thoughts were a bit spread out and not really coherent but I'm getting back to writing so, I'll get the hang of it, I promise, just give me a break this time.

Well, let me know what you thought of the episode and if you think this was just a filler or if you were happy that this was a filler and I'll see you next week with a new rant!

Love,

Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 12 - "Galaxy Brain"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
So, another series is back (and I know I still have one The Flash episode to review) - this time Supernatural! I must say, with how the last episode ended and with how this season has been so far, I was really excited about this episode! Unfortunately, it wasn't what I was expecting.
I felt like this episode was a waste of an episode, in my opinion. I get that they're trying to tie up loose ends, but the Kaia story-line wasn't that interesting to me (I didn't even remember it until this episode) and besides, I feel like Kaya was mainly part of the Wayward Sisters spin-off that ended up not being picked up. Maybe this episode is trying to get series come back to life and maybe, this time, getting picked up but, apart from that, I don't really see a reason for them to get back to the Kaia story-line.
But anyway so, apart from all that, I feel like this episode also showed that God is not wasting time anymore and, from now on, he's focusing on the Winchesters and the Winchesters alone. He basically even says that in the beginning of the episode when he decides to end all the Earths that he created, leaving only the OG Earth, the one with our Sam and Dean, alive.
Then, we move to the Kaia story. Again, as I said, I didn't care much about that so I'm just going to summarize. Basically the Earth 2 Kaia wants the Winchesters to keep their promise - the spear in exchange for her to go back to her Earth. That can't happen right now because Jack can't open a riff otherwise God will know that he's alive. That raises a whole another plot where the Winchesters get help from a Reaper named Merle to hide them from God (and from Billy) in order for Jack to use his power. So they do that and Kaia goes back to her Earth and they bring back the OG Kaia who is still alive. That whole thing was fine but, once again, not that important to me.
What I did like was what happened next. And when I say liked I mean I was shocked. So Billy finds out about Jack using his powers and so she kills Merle, because she didn't do her duty on keeping Jack on check. Then, she tells the Winchesters that they all have a role in this kill God plan and they must stick to it. Billie also reveals that there's a book on God's death and that both the Winchesters and Jack play a crucial part in it, but she doesn't reveal more.
And that's basically it.
I don't want to repeat myself but the truth is, I really feel like this episode was wasted. I want to see more of that plan and I want to see more of Jack and Sam and Dean, not other side characters that don't really matter right now.
Next episode looks like it's one of those fun ones. At least that. If you're not going to make the story go forward, at least make some OG Supernatural episodes where they're just 'crazy' and fun, so I'm looking forward to that next episode.
Let me know what you thought of this episode and I'll talk to you soon.
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 11 - "The Gamblers"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello again!
Well, I go from a pretty down rant (arrow) to a super exciting one (for now). I take back what I said about this episode in my last Supernatural rant. This episode was so good! I don't know if it was better than the previous one, but for sure it was equally good.
Last week's episode relied a lot on the funny stuff and just honoring previous episodes/seasons while this week's episode made the story move forward, which I always appreciate. Of course, they had to, since this was the Mid-Season Finale and next episode will only air in March... But let's get back to the episode.
So, as expected, we follow the brothers to Alaska, looking for the place Garth told them about. Turns out, this magical place is a bar where people bet their luck in games of pool. Well, Dean being the cocky son of a b*tch that he is, is super thrilled about the pool, as he's amazing at it. And, in the beginning, everything goes well, but of course, they start noticing something is wrong about the place (well, Sam does which just shows the type of person that he is) and they soon find out that the place is run by the pagan goddess Fortuna who later explains that she's actually pissed at God as well. And, although Sam and Dean loose against her, she chooses to restore their luck anyway after impressing her and showing that they are true heroes. I don't know about you, but I feel like there's a lot of hints throughout this season to how the series will end and, so far, I stick to my initial prediction - the brothers winning, killing God and Sam replacing him.
But anyway, this episode wasn't just about the brothers. Oh no, we got Jack back! They addressed it in episode 9, in the very end, but I thought it would take some time to actually have him be part of the story but I guess I was wrong. This was a really nice surprise and I loved that they had a side story in this episode not only with Jack but with Cas as well. That's right, Cas is the one that learns out about Jack and he is also the one that finds him. Castiel finds out that Jack is targeting Grigori (which I did not remember them) who are fallen angels that feed on innocent souls and well... Jack kills them and eats their hearts.
After finding him, Cas takes Jack back to the bunker and that's when we have our family back together again! Really, that was such a nice moment, Sam and Dean finding Jack and alive and hugging him and everything... It was really cute.
And then, in the end, Jack explains that Billie kept him hidden in the Empty, waiting for God to leave to resurrect him. He also tells them that Billie has a plan and that he's being following her plan which, if he keeps following it, he will be strong enough to kill God - which makes my prediction even stronger. I saw people saying that Jack will replace God but... I don't thin so. I think Jack will be the one to kill him but someone will have to replace God and I'm pretty sure it will be Sam. There's no way the series will end with both brothers alive and well. There's just no way. And, to be honest, the better way is to have Sam be God and just visit Dean every time he wants to. Or, Dean can die and Sam will be God and they can both be in Heaven. That would look weirdly similar to Arrow's ending but well, that's a possibility. Personally, I would rather have Sam be God and Dean be alive... And probably Jack will die in the end. I don't know about that last bit, but someone has to die.
Anyway, this are my thoughts on the episode and my predictions for the finale. I know there's still a few episodes left but we can keep theorizing.
Let me know what you thought of the episode and do you think Jack will be able to kill God? And if so, will he be the new God? Tell all your predictions and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 10 - "The Heroes' Journey"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everybody!
I'm back with a new rant so let's talk about Supernatural's new episode.
This episode was exactly what I was expecting - so much fun! And, where usually I like to be surprised, this time I was so happy that this was what I thought it would be. This reminded me a lot of some previous episodes, episodes from the early seasons of Supernatural so, of course, I loved that.
The beginning was a bit odd. It looked like nothing that happened in the last episode happened, but pretty soon they explain what is going on such as Castiel going to Heaven to ask for help and try to find Chuck. At the same time, the brothers get a call from Garth asking for help, and that's when the troubles begin. But, this time, not your usual problems. We are so used to Sam and Dean having some weird ass problems, with witches or curses or other monster but, this time, they are having some other type of problems - normal people issues, such as cavities, getting sick and car trouble. In this case, this were some weird problems. It was so weird see them deal with going to the dentist, or just not be able to pick a lock. But at the same time, that was what made this episode so much fun! And it was actually Garth that 'kind of' resolved their problem - he suggests that because they were the heroes of God's story, now that they pissed him off, God downgraded them back to normal people, which is an interesting concept, something that only Supernatural could pull off.
But, even as 'normal people', they helped Garth with his problem - Bess's cousin Brad being attacked by a Wraith. Brad explains that he was attempting to make money in an underground monster fight club which the Winchesters see right away as a problem and try to shut it down. However, the Winchesters now being normal people, obviously it goes south and they are captured to fight against a massive Vampire. Luckily, they had Garth, who rescues the Winchesters, blows up the fight club and kills the vampire, which leads to Dean saying that, this time, Garth was the Hero of this story.
And well, in the end, Garth tells them about a place where they could get their regular abilities, and so, that's where the Winchesters decide to go, as they could not defeat God as normal people.
As I said, this was so much fun and I loved to have Garth back. Garth is one of my favorite characters, I just love his softness. Even without Cas or Jack, this was amazing and I can't wait to see what Sam and Dean will face in this 'magical place' in Alaska, which is going to be the next episode. I doubt it would be as good as this one but, we'll see.
Post that, let me know what you thought of this episode, what was your reaction to normal Sam and Dean and which are your predictions for the next episode.
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 9 - "The Trap"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
Well, I'm sorry I'm posting this a day late but you know the drill. I was busy with something else... Anyway, that doesn't matter. What matters is that there's a new Supernatural episode and it was freaking amazing!
This episode of Supernatural was so much better than the end of Crisis. Not that I should comparing the two, but they are both series that I love deeply and Crisis was something that I was really looking forward to and, in the end, just one episode of Supernatural was better. But anyway, let's properly talk about the episode.
If you really think about it, this episode dragged a bit. The Chuck/Sam part of the episode, really didn't give us much, but still, it was so damn entertaining that we didn't feel like it was dragging. It's amazing, really! And starting with that story-line, it was revealed that Sam bringing Eileen back to life was Chuck's plan all along (what isn't? I mean, he's God, he's writing everything so I don't know why we didn't think that before). And then, the remaining of the episode, as far as that story-line go, it was just Chuck showing Sam what will happen if they defeat him, which obviously doesn't end well. There's actually a lot of interesting things in what Chuck shows Sam, one of them being that Sam and Dean end up turning into Vampires and killing Jody in the end. I mean, that's something that I really don't want to see in the end, like when the show ends, but wouldn't it be interesting if they were showing us how the series will end? That would be kind of cool, even if I don't like that ending. Also, seeing Dean as a Vampire was way too funny and I couldn't take him seriously.
At the same time Sam is seeing this, Dean and Castiel return to Purgatory in search of a Leviathan Blossom, which they learn sprouts when a Leviathan dies. And again, of course something has to happen and the two are ambushed by Leviathans working for a vengeful Eve. Still, in the end, they manage to 'win' and return with the blossom. Also, I think it's important to mention and Castiel and Dean finally make amends. It was a pretty touching scene, when Castiel just 'vanishes' and Dean wakes up and can't find him. Because of that, he prays to Castiel and apologizes for everything, and he even cries! It was really cute, and it was about time!
Back from Purgatory, Dean and Cas worry on the spell to defeat God but, when they arrive to the place where Chuck has Sam, Sam refuses to complete the spell, after seeing what might happen if they defeat Chuck and, because of that, Chuck regains his full power back and Sam's wound heals. In the end it is revealed that he wound was there because Sam still had hope, but after what Chuck showed him, he lost his hope and God became powerful again.
I felt really bad for Sam in that moment. Basically they «lost» because of him, but it was so nice to see Dean support Sam after that. And straight away they decided they had to come up with another plan and... That's when two of the most exciting things of the episode happen! One, Sam and Eileen finally kissed! Yes! I know Supernatural is not made of ships but I truly ship Sam and Eileen and I was so happy to see that finally happening. Sure, after that Eileen left, having doubts about what was real and what was not (about Sam's feelings, mainly) but still, it was such a nice moment and I hope Sam gets somehow a happy ending.
But then, something that I've been waiting for for so long happened - Jack! Yes, in the very end, in the Empty, Billie tells Jack that "its time" and the episode ends. It was just a few seconds but it got so hyped for the next episodes!
Next episode is going to be 'kind of' a filler one, but from the preview it looks like it's going to be a fun one, with Dean and Sam having 'normal people problems' and that sounds to me like a really funny episode, can't wait for that!
Well guys, this are my thoughts on the latest Supernatural episode. Let me know what you thought of everything that happened and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 4 - "Atomic Monsters"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
After one week off, Supernatural is back with a pretty good episode! It was a 'case of the week' type of episode but with a few more things. After all, they can't just waste time with a 'simple' case of the week episode. With the series ending, there's so many things to wrap up that they can't waste an episode. Still, it pretty much felt like a 'case of the week' episode.
This is where the true predictions are going to start because, apart from Sam and Dean, there was also kind of a lot of God (aka Chuck) in the episode and he brought some pretty interesting stuff that might 'help' us come up with some theories. Personally I don't have any (for now) but we'll see.
The episode begins with Sam having a nightmare where he, under the influence of demon blood, appears to be leading several demons and kills a bunch of hunters, including Dean. Luckily it was only a nightmare and when he wakes up, Dean presents him a new case - a cheerleader, Suzie, who was apparently killed by vampires.
It's nothing new that our boys can work around things and so, obviously, they find out who's responsible for the murder - and everything leads to Billy's family (Suzie's boyfriend). Of course, they try to trick us but, at this point, we already are experts and we knew if couldn't be the parents - Billy was the vampire and he killed Suzie by accident when he lost control of his blood lust. This last moment with Billy was actually pretty sad, with him taking the blame for everything and agreeing to go with the Winchesters to, of course, be killed.
At the same time this is happening with the brothers, God visits Becky Rosen, in search for a purpose. This gives us so many details on who Becky is right now and I had completely forgotten that she doesn't know Chuck is God. And, because she doesn't know, she tells Chuck that he should keep writing - and so he does. However, when Becky goes to read his ending for the Winchesters she's horrified and, for her, this is 'only' a story, but we know that he's God and so that means this story is most likely becoming true and now I'm afraid. I've always been afraid - I know how Vampire Diaries ended - and I'm sensing a similar ending which, I liked, but was extremely sad.
But anyway, this isn't really the end of the episode.
The episode ends with Chuck making Becky and her family vanish and beginning to prepare his plan to bring the Winchesters to a dark end - which is the series finally, most likely.
My prediction for now is that one of the brothers is going to die, for sure! And TVD is any indication (not that it's made by the same producers or anything, it just has similar themes and has been on the CW for a long time), I'm pretty sure one of the brothers is going to sacrifice himself for the other. I don't know, but I have a feeling that's what's going to happen and mostly likely Dean is the one to die. They're setting up to look like Sam is the one to die, but I doubt that. Also, Dean is my favorite and on TVD my favorite died (not mentioning who because you might not know) so... I don't know.
I would like to know your theories tho, so leave them in the comments and I'll see you next week with knew rants!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 1 - "Back and to the Future"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys and Welcome to the beginning of the end.
That's right, Supernatural is back with it's final season and it gives you a bittersweet feeling. I'm super stoked that one of my favorite series is back but, at the same time, you just can't get out of your mind that this will be the last season and that just puts you down right away. I'm sure it hit me harder because it's the first episode and, as soon as the season starts to picks up, I will forget about it and I'll only be reminded once it gets to the final three episodes.
But anyway, I'm here to talk about the final season premiere and that's what we're going to do.
The season picks up right where the last one ended and we see the Winchesters and Castiel barricade themselves inside a mausoleum in an attempt to get away from the 'zombies' outside (irony because their dad is in The Walking Dead, I just can't help but find that kind of funny).
For a moment I had completely forgotten that Jack had died but that was short-lived (kind of). Jack did not exactly got back to life but he was possessed by the demon Belphegor who, I might tell you already, I'm starting to be a big fan of. It's weird to see Alex play anyone other than Jack (even if I did see him before on Arrow playing another character) but this demon is so damn funny and Alex does an amazing job portraying him so, as much as I love Jack and I want him back, I'm fine with having Alex play this demon for a while.
Anyway so Belphegor offers to help blasting the souls out of the reanimated corpses and that's what he does. After that, they realize what they really are up against this season - all the souls and creatures that they sent to hell throughout the years so they come up with a plan to keep all the ghosts in one town and evacuate all the people in that town.
At the same time they do that, some familiar ghosts appear and attack our heroes - Constance Welch (the woman in white), John Wayne Gacy and Mary Worthington (who I refuse to spell the way we know her - yes, I'm superstitious like that). Even with all those ghosts getting in the way, they successfully, get everyone out of the town and Belphegor does the spell that traps all the ghosts in said town.
But, if all of this wasn't enough, there's something else wrong - Sam. After shooting god Sam got shot himself also (as we knew he would) but the gunshot wound is different and not only Castiel isn't able to heal it but he also got a strange feeling from it so, I bet that's going to tie with the end of the season and, I might be reading too much into it but my theory is that Sam is going to die in the end. There's no way it all ends well so yeah, my bet, for now, is that Sam is going to be the one to die.
And well, the episode basically ends like that, with the brothers agreeing to face this 'end of the world' again and being free from God once and for all.
I liked this first episode. It gave me a lot of season 1 vibes, not only with the ghosts that were in that same season but also all the atmosphere and the scares which I have to say, the first seasons were way scarier that this last ones. All in all, great season premiere, I'm going to be waiting for me.
Let me know what you thought of Supernatural's season premiere and do you have any theories already? Tell me everything and I'll see you late with the AHS rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 20 - "Moriah"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So here I am, as promised, with the Supernatural Season 14 Finale rant, and what a finale!
I have to say, after the last couple of episodes, I went in with pretty low expectations and then, after the first few minutes, I really didn't think this would go out with a bang but... Oh boy! How I was wrong! I would even dare to say that this was the most epic season finale Supernatural has ever had and, after 14 seasons, they sure have some pretty big season finales! But this one! They sure are setting up the last season to be one of the best and that makes me so excited!
As we saw in the end of last episode, Dean's plan didn't really work that well and Jack was able to get out of the box. Luckily, he didn't do much damage to them because I really thought Jack would be really pissed and just kill them or something. He was pissed, sure, and he did attack them, but he fled pretty quickly and didn't waist any time in wrecking havoc (not on purpose though). I can't really blame Jack, to be honest, about what he did because I myself I'm a firm believer that you should never lie (and I can't even lie about anything, I feel so damn guilty) so I get why Jack made everyone say the truth all the time but then, he found himself in a situation where he had lied before, when he visited his grandparents and they tell him that they know he lied.
At the same time Jack is doing all that, the Winchesters try to track him, and that's when God appears! I really wasn't expecting him so early in the episode and I was so excited about him being back! That was, until the last part of the episode, where he really pissed me off (but I'll get into that).
God does kind of help them and undoes what Jack did but when it comes to actually do something with Jack, he just can't. He warns them about Jack being a grave threat and that they must deal with him. For that, God gives them a weapon that can kill Jack, but it will also kill the person that handles the gun and so, it starts that thing between Sam and Dean where Dean wants to be the one to kill Jack and Sam just disagrees with the whole thing and even starts getting suspicious of God's motives.
Castiel also disagrees with the whole thing about killing Jack and even goes looking for him and that's one of the best moments happen, with such a cute talk between Castiel and Jack, just like a father and son talk, so damn sweet!
Unfortunately, Dean interrupts that moment and shows up in the cemetery where Castiel and Jack are, ready to kill Jack but, as he's about to kill him, he just can't bring himself to actually do it and just 'gives up'.
That's when God reveals that he has been manipulating the situation like a story that he writes and is angered about Dean not being able to kill Jack. Post that, God does it himself - he kills Jack, which was such an wow moment for me, followed by an even bigger moment where Sam tries to kill God with the gun and also shooting himself in the process. It then cut to commercial but, when the episode comes back, we see that Sam just hit him in the shoulder and both of them where okay. But, as you can imagine, God wasn't happy with what Sam did and so, he decides to end the world, turning the world into darkness and unleashing every soul from Hell, all the monsters that Sam and Dean sent there, all of them back - we even get to see the lady in the road (such a throwback from season 1).
But, that's not really the end. Before the episode actually ends, we see Jack in The Empty, first seeing the Shadow and then being approached by Billie who tells him that they need to talk about the current situation, which leads me to believe that we will see more of Jack in the future.
I actually saw a pretty good predictions where Jack will defeat God and become the new God and create more angels and everything and that's how the series will end. I'm fine with that, to be honest, but it's still too early to make assumptions so... Let's see what the last season brings!
I don't know about you but I'm extremely happy with this Season Finale and so excited for the next and final season. I'm probably going to react in video for the series finale but there's still a long way till then so... Let's not worry things.
Don't forget to let me know what you thought of this season finale and I'll see you probably tomorrow with a few more rants!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 19 - "Jack in the Box"

Spoiler Alert!

Hey peeps!
A bunch of rants in the same day, huh?!
I'm finally caught up on Supernatural and... I can I say I was underwhelmed?! I don't know if it was because I was extremely sleepy while watching this episode but it really didn't get my attention the way I thought it would (having in mind that this is the second to last episode of the season). I so disagree with everything that happened in this episode and ugh! I knew this wasn't going to end well (obviously!) and I'm with Jack on all this. It was extremely bad from Dean to try and trick Jack but I also have to criticize Sam because he went along with it. Sam should've said no because it obviously wouldn't work...
Anyway so, this whole episode, a bit like the last one, has a pretty simple premise - finding Jack.
While the brothers and Castiel keep looking for Jack, Duma finds him and starts using him to create more angels. Poor Jack is so thrilled about this because he thinks he's doing good and helping...
Luckily, Castiel finds out about what is happening in heaven and, in a really big twist, he kills Duma, which really shocked me.
And then, comes the really wrong part of the episode.
Dean comes up with the idea to lock Jack in the Ma'lak Box but at his own free will. The thing is, in order to have Jack agree into going inside box, they agree to basically lie to him and say that it's only temporary until they work out a spell (or whatever) to get is soul back.
Obviously things go south and Jack gets himself free of the box and the episode ends, but we can only imagine that he's pissed and he's probably going to be Lucifer 2.0 (which I don't know how I feel about that).
The only redeeming thing in this episode is the fact that Castiel completely disagrees with what the brothers did and he's basically the only one to remember that Jack is, in fact, only 2 years old. Poor Jack. Seriously, I felt really sorry for him and, usually, I agree with the brothers but in this... Nope, sorry! I'm with Jack!
Let me know where do you stand in this.
We know that in the next episode aka Season Finale, Chuck is going to make an appearance so, hopefully, it will be to restore Jack's soul.
Until then, I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 15 - "Peace of Mind"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
Here I am, once again, with a brand new Supernatural episode!
This has been a great week, with all my favorite series having great episodes - Supernatural being one of those as well. Even though this didn't really move the story (which I don't really know where it's heading), it was extremely funny and, with all the dramatic episodes we have been having, it was nice to see Supernatural get back into it's funny self. The truth is, basically all their problems were resolved in the last episode so they could 'chill' in this brand new one.
Besides it being really funny, we saw something different. There was a case of the week type of thing but, instead of Sam and Dean going to resolve it, Sam went with Castiel, and Dean stayed at home with Jack in order to help him (since he got his powers back and even some more from Michael).
The Sam/Castiel part of the episode was the funny one. They basically got themselves in a really old school and 'happy' town which ended up Sam like we can see in the banner - thinking that he's someone else and being all 'put together' with glasses and a little bun. Just Sam's look was funny but the Castiel lines were the ones that really got me. I loved Castiel in this episode! I mean, I always love him, but this really made Castiel (and Misha) shine and, in the end, Cas was the one in charge and the one that had to resolve everything, something that never happens. Well, in the end we discover that there's a guy that basically created this town. He has some psychic powers and that's why he was able to do it. As you can imagine, they were able to 'destroy' him but I was a little let down with that because they usually explain what type of monster they are facing and, this time, they didn't, and I wanted to know what type of monster he was (if anyone has any idea, please tell me, because I would really like to know).
Then, the Dean/Jack section of the episode was the more dramatic one. Dean didn't really do anything really, but he got Jack to talk to Donatello about the lack of his soul and what Jack might be going through and... I just love Jack! He's so pure! I loved the fact that they mentioned that he might be the most powerful creature in the universe and, even though he might be, he's still so pure and that's really adorable. I also loved that he said that Sam and Dean are the best people that he know - that really warmed my heart.
Overall, this was such a pleasing episode, I just don't know where they are heading with this, and thinking that we only have 5 episodes left... I'm a bit afraid, but let's see.
Next episode it looks like it's going to be another 'case of the week', but it looks like it's going to be a gross one so I'm excited!
Let me know what are your thoughts on this episode and what do you think is going to happen from now on.
Until then...
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 13 - "Lebanon"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
This week we had another achievement in terms of series! Not only it was Arrow's 150th episode, but it was also Supernatural's 300th episode, and it's about the later that I'm going to talk to you about in this post.
To be honest, I kind of failed with you in this episode. The truth is, I was doing something else during most of the episode and I just only payed attention for the last 20 minutes (needless to say that I didn't quite understand the whole thing). But it was fine because, right after it aired, I was able to watch it again and really understand everything that happen.
For this landmark, they decided to do something different from the last 'special episodes'. The last ones were about Fan-fiction or a musical, but this one they really focused on something really nostalgic and... I don't need to make this suspenseful, you already know what I'm talking about so they basically brought John back and it was huge! There wasn't really much, besides that, in this episode, but it meant a lot anyways (even if I never really liked John).
I loved how they were able to integrate this episode with the whole story and not just a special episode (kind of a filler). Basically they began with Sam and Dean finding a bunch of occult items from a pawn shop and keeping them for safety. In those occult items there was a cigar box containing the ghost of John Wayne Gacy (which gave us a really funny scene with Dean teasing Sam, you know, the usual) and a Chinese pearl that grants the holder's greatest wish, and that's where it connects to the whole plot. Sam and Dean think that the pearl might be a way to get Michael out of Dean's mind, since that's what Dean wants the most, but it doesn't go that way and instead, he summons John from 2003.
Of course the boys are thrilled in the beginning, they have their family all together (and the scene where Mary reunites with John was truly beautiful) but that's until they find out that, the removal of John from 2003, changes everything in their life creating a world where Sam runs a law firm and is internet famous, Dean is an wanted serial killer and Castiel is an unquestioning soldier of Heaven.
A whole confrontation with Castiel then happens and that's when the brothers realize that they really need to get things back in place. Of course they really don't want to but, eventually, they decide to do it - destroy the pearl and send John back to 2003 to prevent the new timeline from becoming a reality.
After an emotional goodbye, John is returned to his own timeline, leaving him thinking that the experience was only a dream.
Well and that was basically it for the episode.
Like I said, there wasn't much to it, but it was truly beautiful and emotional to have a 'kind of' happy episode and an happy ending (for now), and it was also a different way to celebrate this milestone.
Let me know what you thought of episode 300 and well, we now have to wait about a month for a new episode so, I'll see you in an Arrow or The Flash rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 11 - "Damaged Goods"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So, as per usual, a little late with this rant but let's just get pass that and talk about the latest Supernatural episode.
This was a really 'interesting' episode for me. After how the last one ended, I was really curious so to see where the story was headed - plus, I saw Nick in the trailer so I was curious about all that as well - unfortunately, the Nick part of the episode was just... Boring.
The episode started pretty well with Dean acting strangely and departing the bunker to visit Mary and Donna. Right away, I liked to see a bit of Donna in this episode and we had a pretty nice one-on-one moment between Dean and Donna that doesn't happen often so... That was nice! Also, I can't get other that 'He hugged me!' scene with Sam. I saw it a bunch of times in the preview and every time it cracks me up. Anyway so, Dean goes to Donna's cabin to spend some time with Mary but not just that - and that's when we see him start building something in Donna's cabin's workshop.
Later, Mary finds out about what Dean is building (with us, the audience, still unaware of what it really is) and alerts Sam who travels to Hibbing, Minnesota to confront his brother. After that, that's when the episode takes a turn for the worst.
We get into Nick's part of the episode and we see him continuing his bloody  rampage of revenge by searching for Abraxas, who he then learns was captured by Mary while slaughtering a Girl Scout troop. Of course, finding about that, Nick goes after Mary, kidnaps her and forces her to lead him to a storage unit where Abraxas is trapped inside an Enochian box.
The boys learn about what is happening with Mary and so, with the help of Donna, they track down Nick as he releases Abraxas into someone else that he kidnapped. The expected happens and, as things are getting worse, Abraxas confesses what everyone already knew - that he killed Nick's family on Lucifer's orders. Finding about this, Nick kills Abraxas with an angel blade, getting his revenge and then is arrested by Donna. And, apparently, we are done with Nick's story. Obviously that's not it because I still suspect that Lucifer is going to be back and maybe even help the boys really kills Michael but, for now, that's it. And that's also when we get back to the good part of the episode.
Dean reveals to Sam that he built a box that can permanently contain even an archangel as according to Billie - being the only option that they really have. That's when we find out what really is Dean's plan - to trap himself with Michael for eternity at the bottom of the ocean. Of course Sam doesn't take that that well (neither did I, by the way) but in the end, Sam agrees with Dean and that really worried me. Of course we know that that's probably not going to happen and, if it does, they'll find a loophole or something because we still have 9 episodes left in this season and there's no way we're going to spend those remaining episodes without Dean so... I'm curious to see how things will work out.
We can't also forget about the whole thing with Castiel and The Empty so... Just gonna keep that in mind.
I seriously hope they get done with the Michael story-line because it's getting a bit boring in my opinion. But anyway... Let me know your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 10 - "Nihilism"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So, here it is a brand new Supernatural rant!
Unfortunately, this wasn't the 'comeback' that I was expecting. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad episode, it just wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. Overall I think this was a bit rushed. I feel like they don't really want Michael to be the 'big bad' this season and they just had to do something with him in a way to start focusing on what 'really matters' and so they came up with this episode. The story-line of this episode could have lasted a few more episodes and, instead, they wrapped everything in this and so that's why I think this was rushed. But anyway...
The episode starts right where the last one ended, with Sam, Jack and Cas against Michael. The end of last episode looked like this was going to be an hard challenge but pretty quickly they manage to trap Michael using the angelic handcuffs, but it couldn't be that easy so, post that, Michael summons several of his monsters to rescue him.
With a new threat, Sam attempts to get the Reaper Violet to transport them to safety and despite her protests, the four of them are teleported to the bunker. That's when Sam gets a call from Maggie, who tells them that all of Michael's monsters have broken off their attack on Kansas City, Missouri and are headed to the bunker.
Michael remains the first priority though, as well as get Dean back and so, remembering how Crowley helped Sam kick Gadreel out of his mind, they work on doing the same thing with Dean, entering Dean's mind with the help of the British Men of Letters mind-link device. And so, Sam and Cas get inside Dean's mind while Jack stays in the 'real world' to protect the bunker.
Inside Dean's mind, Sam and Castiel find Dean living out a looped existence where he owns a bar with Pamela. Next move is to get Dean to remember 'the truth' and for that they have the help of 'Poughkeepsie', a word that, to be honest, I couldn't quite remember but, after some research, I found that it was used in Season 9 and it basically means 'get out and run' or something like that.
Anyway... They succeed in getting Dean to remember the truth, but that's when Michael attacks and warns that if he's forced out, Dean will die.
Post that, Sam, Dean and Cas work on something else and end up trapping Michael within Dean's mind. At the same time, several monsters attack the bunker and Jack draws on power from his soul to destroy them.
But, because this is Supernatural, and we are only on episode 10, of course things couldn't end that well.
After all that, Dean is visited by Billie who reveals that she had rescued Sam and the others from Michael's monsters. She also warns Dean that all versions of his fate but one now have Michael breaking free and using Dean to destroy the world. She then moves to show Dean the one fate where Michael fails, leaving Dean shocked. You know what this means right?! This must be something about Sam dying. Of course that, if they get renewed, they will work something out to keep the boys on the show but... Just thinking that one of them might actually die in the end... I don't like it and I also didn't like Dean's face when he saw that fate.
Well... That was it for this episode.
Like I said, it was too packed and too rushed for my liking but it did end with a big cliffhanger that is making me really want to see what comes next so... I'm excited (I guess).
Let me know what you thoughts of the episode and what you think is that one fate that Dean was so afraid of.
I'll see you guys next week with new rants!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 6 - "Optimism"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
Here I am with a brand new Supernatural rant!
I had quite a lot of fun watching this episode. I really liked it! There were some parts that were kind odd, such as the whole thing with Sam and 'Charlie', but I think the Dean and Jack part of the episode made up for it and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Well, you couldn't expect otherwise because Richard Speight Jr. was, once again, the director of the episode and, once again, he made a masterpiece. I really enjoyed the music choices! The only thing though, and this is not Richard's fault, but there was no Cas, again, and I kind of miss him. But anyway, let's get deep into the episode.
The episode starts with some happy tunes but not so happy events, with a guy from McCook, Nebraska, being killed. Finding about this, Jack convinces Dean to work this case with him and so the fun begins!
Dean and Jack discover that the local librarian, Harper Sayles, has a bad history with men and suspect her to be cursed. In order to find more about this whole thing, Dean sets up Jack to kind of flirt with her and see what happens. That's when Dean gets attacked, not by Harper, but Vance, Harper's old boyfriend who is a zombie resurrected by Harper herself, a necromancer. She explains that this is kind of a 'game' that she does with a boyfriend and since he needs to eat human skin (or whatever) in the end, she basically 'gives' this boys for Vance to eat.
Well, in the end, Dean and Jack manage to kill Vance, but Harper escapes and develops an obsession with Jack (I kind of hope she comes back at some point in this season because I was kind of shipping her with Jack #sorrynotsorry).
At the same time, Sam is working a case with Charlie Bradbury in Memphis, Tennessee. The two determinate that they are dealing with some type of insect monster called Musca and kill it very easily. I don't really know what to say about this story-line apart from that the Musca was really gross and creepy. Kind of liked that.
Before I finish, I just need to mention that very end of the episode which set up a pretty big cliffhanger.
So, during the episode, Jack's strange cough persists and then, at the very end of the episode, Jack coughs up blood in front of Dean before suddenly collapsing, bleeding from his nose and mouth.
I seriously hope they don't kill off Jack because I love him! I know there are too many characters in the show right now, mainly because they just decided to bring a lot of the dead ones back, but if I had to choose, I would rather still have Jack and get rid of Mary and Bobby. I'm sorry, but they don't really add anything new to the story and, to be honest, when Mary got back, it looked like she was going to change a lot of things but... She just got really annoying and yeah... Don't kill Jack, please!
Anyway... Let me know all your thoughts and predictions and, this time, we are going to have to wait a little bit longer for a new Supernatural episode. In the mean time, I'll see you with new The Flash and Arrow rants!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 5 - "Nightmare Logic"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
Here I am with the last rant of the week - Supernatural.
I have to say, I'm not quite sure of what to think about this episode. It was a nice episode, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't like amazing! There was quite a few stuff that I liked (mainly the ending, to be honest) but nothing really stood out to me so... I'm confused.
Anyway, the episode starts with Maggie who, while working on her first solo case, disappears. From her body camera, Sam and Dean learn that Maggie was hunting what appeared to be a ghoul, who might have caught her off guard. And this is what sets the whole episode.
While investigating, the Winchesters encounter their mother and Bobby Singer who are investigating the same case. The four discover the body of another hunter and weird manifestations that make them suspect that the owner of the house, who is comatose, is some type of psychic and that he's bending reality around them.
And then that's when my favorite part happens.
Sam does find Maggie in the attic of the house meanwhile Bobby and Mary fight Bobby's son (another weird manifestation) in the woods. And, while all of this is happening, Dean realizes that the home owner's nurse is a djinn, enhanced by Michael, and that he's do one 'creating' all this monsters.
Neil reveals that he was left as a trap for hunters by Michael and that are dozens of similar traps all over the place. Then, obviously, the djinn tries to attack Dean and that's when we see that, for some odd reason, Dean is immune to the djinn's powers and that's when Dean attacks him and kills him.
Finding this information (about all the traps that are spread around the globe) Sam and Dean spread the word warning other hunters while Bobby tells Mary, who has begun falling for him (as we predicted) how since he lost his son, hunting is all he's had and known. Post this, Mary and Bobby decide to take time off in order for Bobby to heal as well as find something else to live for.
I'm actually pretty happy with this. I haven't been loving Mary that much and I think there have been too many characters on the show right now so I think this is great so he can get back to focus on the brothers. Also, this is a great way to have Jack and Cas back, which we will, from what we've seen in the preview.
I really don't know what else to say about this episode so tell me all your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you next week with new rants!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 4 - "Mint Condition"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
I'm not even going to apologize again because you know the drill, so let's just jump right into the actual rant.
This was a nice little episode. It wasn't anything amazing because it didn't really kept the story going, but it was a good one because, not only it was a break from all the madness that have been happening in the past episode (and even seasons) but it was a nice nod to the old days, with only Sam and Dean, working by themselves on a case. I have to admit, I missed Castiel and Jack on this episode, and I was actually really looking forward to see Jack, without powers, working on a case, but I believe we will see that in the future, but this 'only the brothers' episode was a really good one because it really were only Sam and Dean that were in this episode (from the main/recurring cast, I mean), no Bobby, no Mary, anyone really and, surprisingly, I liked that!
Anyway... So, this episode was set in Halloween, which was nice (in case you didn't know, I love Halloween) and in which a toy attacks its owner, Stuart.
Sam and Dean go check it out and that's when both Stuart and Dean are attacked by an invisible figure with a chainsaw. After that 'encounter', Sam and Dean determine that they are dealing with the vengeful spirit of the comic shop owner, where Stuart works, because Stuart have been stealing stuff from the shop.
After that, the spirit possesses a life-size figure of Dean's favorite horror movie character, David Yeager, who attacks Dean in an hospital where he's keeping an eye on Stuart.
Well, as you can expect, Sam manages to destroy the ghost. And after that, while Dean and Sam are getting back to the bunker, Sam reveals the reason why he hates Halloween - a traumatic event in his childhood where he got embarrassed in an Halloween party in front of the girl that he liked.
This was a really random moment, and not really that important to the story, nor the episode, but it was something nice that they added. Plus, I feel like this 're-created' the bonding that there is between Sam and Dean, and I always love that.
And, that's it guys! Not a big big episode, but a nice one!
Let me know all your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you in my next rant (which I don't really know when that's going to be, sorry).
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 1 - "Stranger in a Strange Land"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
I know, I know. I'm so late with all this rants. Hopefully, I'll be able to update you all on everything by the end of the week but, for now, you're going to have to bare with me.
Anyway, today I'm here to talk to you about the season premiere of Supernatural. Unfortunately, I don't really have good things to say about this episode. Really, it pains me to say that I didn't like this episode and this might be the first time that I don't like a Supernatural episode. I don't know what it was but a lot of things felt off and I truly believe it's the director and the writer's fault because the actors were all pretty great.
So, we learn that three weeks have passed since Michael took over Dean's body and that Michael have been asking a lot of people the question "what do you want?" in a way to see who is 'worth' or something (which we kind of learn by the end of the episode). One of the people that he goes to talk to is the angel Anael aka Jo aka Danneel (Jensen's wife) and this must have been the only thing that I liked about the episode - seeing Jensen and Danneel act together. It was nice and funny at the same time. From that, it was just downhill.
Back in the bunker, everything is different! And, I guess that's the reason why I didn't like this episode. Everything felt so off and weird. Me, as a person, I hate change. I like to stick to a routine and know what I'm supposed to do and to go and what to expect and, seeing everything in this show so different from what it used to be... I guess it just upset me. First, Sam and Dean not being 'together' was so weird. Not that this hasn't happened before, but this time I fee like it's different. Plus, there's all other things that changed in this episode (and this season) - Sam is now the leader of a hunter group or something, which also means the bunker is full of people and that is also weird. Then there's Jack who doesn't have powers anymore which is extremely weird and, there's something going on between Mary and the Bobby from the other world which... weird!
Well, I guess there was another thing that surprised me and that I quite liked about this episode - Nick still being alive. And, if you don't know who Nick is, he's the vessel that Lucifer possessed (aka Mark Pellegrino) who survived after Lucifer being killed. I don't know what this means... Maybe there's a way for Lucifer to be back? To be honest, I'm really torn about that. In one hand I king of want him back because I just like Mark playing Lucifer but, on the other hand, it's getting tired of Lucifer always getting back so... Maybe they'll stick with him dead but still have Mark around as Nick. By the way, someone else that I really want to be back is Gabriel. And, there might be a chance that he's alive because I saw some set photos of Richard Speight Jr. with Jared and Jensen so... Maybe Gabriel is alive?! It can also just be the fact that Richard directed some episodes (one of them being the next one) but I'm going to keep on believe that Gabriel is still alive because I just love him too much.
Anyway, back to the story...
In a way to try to find Dean, Castiel goes to meet with the Demon Kipling who then ambushes him in hopes of making a deal with Sam and becoming the new King of Hell. Of course, Sam goes to rescue Castiel, not alone, of course and, in the end, he's able to kill Kipling and letting all the other demons know that there won't be no more Kings of Hell, something that he will enforce and the demons accept out of fear of Sam.
So, I guess that's pretty much it for this rant.
Like I said, I didn't like it, it was too weird for my liking but, hopefully, the next one will be better, mainly because it's Richard who directed the next episode and I always like his episodes so, I have faith.
Let me know what you thought of Season 14 premiere of Supernatural and I'll see you in my next rant (which might be still today - The Challenge - but I can't promise you anything).
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 23 - "Let the Good Times Roll"

Spoiler Alert!

Oh My God!
Hello people and here is the rant of the most epic Supernatural season finale!
But not seriously, this is in the TOP 5 best Supernatural episodes! It was everything that I wanted it to be and more! It left me speechless throughout the whole episode and I couldn't predict anything that happened! This episode trully was like a conclusion to an era (you'll get what I mean in the end) and it was really fullfilling. In a way, it kind ended similar to the Arrow Season 6 Finale, the only difference is that Arrow was so predictable and this wasn't. Maybe because Supernatural have been here for so long and some major points in this episode were related to like Season 3 or 4 (or maybe even 5, I can't remember) that we just wouldn't ever think of what happened.
Anyway, I need to stop rambling and get to the juicy stuff.
I feel like I need to start with the introduction of the episode because, not only they played the usual "Carry On My Wayward Son" but also, for once, it was Dean who narrated the whole thing and I should've known that this meant something.
Apart from that, the episode actually starts with Sam explaining some things to the people from Apocalypse World about our world, as well as we see Sam, Dean, Cas and Jack go hunting and just getting back to their normal life, while the rest of the people just start their own lives.
I don't think they mentioned it and it wasn't really clear but it seemed to me that a few days passes, maybe even weeks or months because it seemed like everyone already had some sort of life and that the Brothers have been doing their thing again.
Anyway, while on a walk through the woods, Mary and Bobby (who seems like is here to stay) find one of the Apocalypse World refugees, Maggie, dead.
They try to find what happened to her and that's when Jack goes after a guy that Maggie have been seeing. Needless to say that Jack almost kills him and gets back to blaming himself for always hurting people, so he leaves. While in the woods, Lucifer appears and tries to 'manipulate' Jack into leaving with him and stuff. I couldn't believe that but Jack actually accepts but not without doing something first - Lucifer getting Maggie back to life.
Lucifer does it, with not really a choice and they leave. Later, Sam talks with Maggie and she tells him that the man who attacked her had glowing red eyes - Lucifer. This actually plays a big part later because at the same time that Lucifer appeared to Jack, Michael also appears to Sam, Dean and Cas. They get away but soon after Lucifer and Jack leave the bunker, Michael appears there.
The exciting things start happening in that moment. I was really afraid for Dean because Michael attacks him not first but with more intent to kill and since I knew Dean was going to play another character, I was really afraid they would kill him. Luckily, Sam prays to Jack who listens and goes to their rescue.
Jack really surprised me there. He appeared and almost killed Michael. I knew he was powerfull but I didn't know he was that powerful. Thank god, thought.
At that exact moment Jack also learns who Lucifer really his. Of course Lucifer went with Jack but, unfortunatelly, Michael reveals that they had an agreement and so Jack finds out about everything. Lucifer wanting to leave with him because Michael was going to distroy the world as well as Lucifer killing Maggie. Jack even uses his own powers on Lucifer in a way to make him tell the truth which was amazing, in my opinion.
With his plan falling apart, Lucifer steals Jack's grace, leaving Jack human and then teleporting to a church alongside with Jack and Sam. Of course Lucifer starts playing his little games and, since he's the most powerful he has ever been it leaves Dean no choice then to make a deal with Michael - be is vessel.
This was like something so out of nowhere! I mean, not in a bad way. I'm saying like, this storyline happened like almost 10 seasons ago and now bringing this back... This writers are amazing, really!
So, Dean makes the deal with Michael, but with himself in control and so, in an epic battle with Lucifer, he kills him with the Archangel blade! Yes, you read it right, Dean killed Lucifer! After seasons with him around they finally did it! I don't know if they're going to get him back somehow but I doubt it. This really felt like a conclusion and, truth be told, it was time. The boys have been dealing with Lucifer for so long that it is nice to have an ending of this storyline. Plus, he is really dead because of the wings (just like Gabriel - yes, I'm not over it yet).
Well, with Lucifer dead, the Winchesters and Jack celebrate only to have Michael betray his deal, take full control of Dean's body and just leaving. And that's how the episode ends, with Dean - now Michael - walking through the streets and really ending with a glimpse of his blue angel eyes.
This was so different from what I thought was going to happen.
I knew that Jensen was going to play a totally different character but I thought it was going to be like some BMOL related or something. I never, in a million years, would think this would happen so, congrats to the writers and producers and everyone, you all did an amazing job with this season finale.
Unfortunatelly we are going to have to wait until October for the next season so, yeah.
Oh, and just something that I forgot to mention. It was nice that they said that Rowena and Charlie went on a roadtrip or something. It was a nice touch and it means they are still alive, which is good.
We might have lost some characters but we also have some old ones back so it's good. I'm also happy that Jack didn't die because, for a moment, I really thought he was going to really kill himself.
Ok, this post is already too long so I'm going to leave it to you now to tell me your thoughts, and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 22 - "Exodus"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
Oh My God you guys! You're gonna have to bare with me through this rant because this was such an emotional episode for me.
I kind of talked to you about it in my The Flash rant since I was writting it and watching SPN at the same time but... This was so painful! Just like in previous episode, it got me totally off guard and I was just in shock! If you don't know what I'm talking about... Gabriel died! For real this time! I just... I can't deal with it. Just watching to this post's banner is breaking my heart. You have no idea in how much pain I am. He was the character that I never realised I missed until he came back and now... He's gone again. Please, tell me I'm not the only one to feel this way. This is seriously so painful!
Okay, I gotta step away from a this a bit talk to you about all the other things that happened in this episode, which were quite a lot since the next episode is the season finale.
I can say that, besides the Gabriel thing, Jack and Lucifer's relationship was the best thing in this episode.
I can't say I was totally fine with it, because I wasn't. Through out the whole episode I was worried about Jack. Not that Lucifer would hurt him, I don't think he woud or if he tried, I'm pretty sure Jack could take care of him, I was just worried that Lucifer would take him to the dark side and I don't want to loose the bright and happy Jack. Well, the truth is, despite all the Winchesters' objections, Jack and Lucifer do have a talk and Jack actually gets a little fascinated with him.
Something else that happens, which is a major plot of the episode, is the fact that Mary doesn't want to leave the Alternate Universe and all those people, as we expected. Because of that, the brothers come up with a plan (as usual). Take everyone to the 'real world' through the rift until they can think of a good plan to defeat Michael.
After a vote, the resistance all agree to evacuate, including Bobby Singer, so they start thinking of a way to do so. Meanwhile, they find out that Charlie and Ketch fall into an angel trap and are capture. As expected, the boys go to their rescue and, surprisingly everything goes well. Actually, they even meet the Castiel from the AU which was such a weirdo. Thank god our Castiel kills him in the end.
With that done, they proceed with taking everyone through the rift while Rowena, in the other side, tries to keep it open. Everything is going great until Michael shows up. Lucifer and Michael start fighting but with no luck. Gabriel then steps up as well in a way to buy the brothers some time to leave and that's when my baby gets killed. It was so painful. I can talk about this anymore...
So, moving on... Then, Sam purposefully strands Lucifer on Apocalypse World and gets through the rift, leaving Lucifer with Michael in the AU.
As everyone celebrates in the bunker, Lucifer and Michael form an alliance to reopen the rift and conquer the other world.
It's going to be an epic battle for sure, so I can't wait for that. Obviously I'm still not over Gabriel's death so it's going to hurt a bit when the final episode airs but... I'm ready! I can't wait to find out what happens and what they are planning for Season 14!
At this point I have no predictions so let me know yours and I'll see you in a bit with the new Arrow rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 21 - "Beat the Devil"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
Wow! We are really coming to an ending, aren't we?
This episode was such a ride! It was everything that I wanted! Hell, it was what I've been wishing for weeks and it was so freaking good! We finally had Sam, Dean, Cas, Gabriel, Jack, Lucifer and Rowena all in the same episode and it was fantastic! Seriously, I can't rave enough about this episode!
It had so many good moments, from funny ones to really emotional ones. I knew this was going to be an important episode for Sam but damn I wasn't expecting what happened!
So, this episode was all about getting back to the alternative universe and finally get Mary and Jack back. The first thing was try the spell again. With Gabriel on board, they tried it but his grace wasn't enough so they had to come up with plan B - go after Lucifer.
Well, this wasn't like a major plot in this episode but I just have to mention it. Gabriel and Rowena! I mean, it was good but cringy... I don't know, I have mixed feelings but I guess deep down I liked it. It was something that never crossed my mind but, somehow, I'm cool with it. You know that I have a thing for Gabriel (just as much as I have for Jack... maybe even more, I would admit) so this was a nice touch to his character I think.
Anyway, back to the important stuff... With the help of Gabriel and Rowena they catch Lucifer and decide to use him and his grace as a continuous power source to keep the rift open.
They are able to open the rift again and the brothers, Castiel and Gabriel travel to the Apocalypse World.
Of course things had to go a little wrong and, after learning that his son is in the Apocalypse World, Lucifer breaks free and travels through the rift, leaving Rowena to scramble to find a way to keep it open without Lucifer to power it.
In the AU things don't go that well either. Heck, they turn out to be even worse!
Our boys eventually find a couple that is being attacked by some different type of vampires and, of course, being the heroes, they go to their rescue. After that, they learn that they only way to Mary and Jack is through a tunnel full of those creatures. Sam is really eager to just do it and that's exactly what they do. Obviously they end up attacked and that's when Sam dies. Sam actually dies! I mean, for a moment I actually thought that he was dead for sure. I knew that he couldn't. Jared didn't say anything about leaving the show and it was even renewed for a Season 14 so... It wouldn't make sense but... You never know.
What was the worst about all this was Dean. Dean's reacting to Sam's death was so heartbreaking! He actually cried and if you know Dean you know what it takes to make him cry so, as you can imagine, I was almost crying as well. It was that heartbreaking.
They end up finding Mary and Jack and, once again, seeing Jack just in denial about Sam's death was really sad. Also, I need to mentions this... Was it just me or should've been a different scene with Gabriel meeting Jack? I mean, Gabriel is his uncle so I would've liked to see like an introduction scene or something like Jack asking 'You're my uncle?' or something like that... I don't know, I just thought they would do something else but I guess it wouldn't fit the tone of the episode in that moment.
Oh, also need to mention this real quick... Castiel does tell Gabriel about the angels and I guess Gabriel kept thinking about it. I don't know but I see a real chance of Gabriel staying for some time and I'm so okay with that!
Anyway, back to the storyline...
Of course Sam wasn't dead for sure and then we see that it was actually Lucifer who brought him back to life in a way for Sam to show him where Jack is.
And yes, the end of the episode is Lucifer meeting Jack for the first time and, truth be told, I have no idea who this is gonna go. I couldn't read Jack's face at all and that got me even more curious. I just couldn't believe that the episode was ending like that so, as you can imagine, I'm so excited about the next one.
Well, it looks like we aren't done with Lucifer for this season. He's probably going to still be one of the problems or the next season but I don't think he's going to be the big bad.
I don't know, let me know your thoughts and predictions.
This is what I thought of the episode.
I'll see you guys in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.
