Spoiler Alert!
Hello guys!
So, I'm back with The Challenge rant!
I gotta say, this was an exciting episode! I feel like I already know who I'm rooting for and that makes everything a lot clearer. Plus, this episode had a lot of drama involving the actual game, which is always interesting.
The episode starts with more strategy about the blue and read team and the champs vs stars thing that has been going on, and we see Casper say that he wants to be MVP so he can send Tony into elimination. Of course when we see stuff like this we know somethings going to happen he probably won't get what he wants, and that was exactly what happened.
The actual challenge of the episode was pretty funny and easy to understand - they just had to untie a bunch of 'rope/fabric' and then make a star with it. Simple, but a lot harder to actually do.
Because the red team was united and the blue team was everyone against each other, obviously the red team won, which is my favourite team, to be honest, even with Devin in it, and the blue team lost, which meant that Casper wouldn't be able to be MVP. Actually, they kind of lost because of him because he was so selfish that he didn't help anyone, unlike CT which, in the beginning of the challenge, already had his rope and was still in the game to help everyone else.
As you can imagine, CT was the MVP and well deserved! I would be mad if he wasn't.
With that set, Shane came up with a plan to 'trick' the stars into thinking that it's no longer champs vs stars and that it's red vs blue, so he decided to nominated himself into elimination.
That caught all the stars and the whole blue team off guard and the stars on the red team really bought that it was no longer champs vs stars, which was their plan all along. Plus, to solidify their plan, CT's power move was to give any girl Immunity. He decided to give it to Selita so they would believe it even more, which they did.
Anyway, as for the blue team, everyone voted for Tony after his speech that, if he would come back, it would be blue vs red and they would forget about the champs vs stars.
The elimination was fun too but, unfortunately, Shane lost... This was good for the blue team but not for the red. What helped was, in fact, their plan. Just like in any of the other eliminations, they could bring back the player that lost and, because Shane nominated himself and made everyone believe that it was just the teams now, everyone decided to save him so Shane didn't go home, which was nice!
That was basically it! Oh, Hennessy also decided to leave the competition because Devin called her out because she was 30 minutes late and everyone had to wait for her... Seriously, it pains me to say this but Devin was right. Plus, he didn't even scream at her or anything, he just told her that and Hennessy being Hennessy started screaming and everything... To be honest, I'm gald she's gone because she was really annoying.
Well, just to wrap things up, in the very end we saw the blue team say that they would come back to the champs vs stars plan since now they were tied when it comes to numbers, which is going to be interesting.
So, let me know all your thoughts on this season so far and tell me which team do you prefer: Blue or Red?
I'll see you guys in my next post!
Love,
Daniela.
