The Sinner | Season 3 Episode 8 - "Part VIII"

Hello everyone!

Another season come to an end. This one, although not unexpectedly, still left me speechless. I really was not expecting the things to go down the way they did so, for that, I'm really happy. However, the ending itself was pretty sad and... I'm a bit torn.

After last week's events, we knew this was going to go on a different direction. This whole season was a bit different from the previous two, but I still loved it (unlike most people, from what I've seen). Heck, I liked this season better than the last one. I think this was way more clear and the characters were more interesting. I can't say enough praises to Matt Bomer! He was phenomenal in this role and he really should get an Emmy for this. But, back to the plot itself, we knew Jamie was about to go on a dark path and so... That's what he did.

The episode starts with Detective Ambrose finding the body of his Superior. Pretty soon they realize that Jamie is going after people that matter to Harry and the next in line are Eli, Melanie and Sonya.

I must say, I'm a bit disappointed that Sony didn't have much to do with this plot. You could take her out of the season and it wouldn't really matter, in my opinion, but I'll get past that.

So, with that, Harry and the police keep an eye of every one of those people. We see that Jamie tries to do something to Eli but instead he goes after Sonya. That scene where he's confronting her led me to believe that she was more like him than Harry is, but they didn't really go deep into that so... We don't know. Again, I think her character was a bit of a waste of time.

Then, things get deeper. Jamie goes to Leela and they have a moment through the glass. It really looked to me as a goodbye (which is odd because he didn't know what was going to happen next) and I really felt that moment. That moment really showed that Jamie wasn't a bad person - he was just troubled. He really needed help and the only person that helped him was the wrong one - Nick - and after that, there was no helping. The damage was done and no one could do anything about it.

Post that, Jamie calls Ambrose from Eli's phone and that's when everything comes crashing down. Harry goes after Jamie, there's a big and deep confrontation, they fight and Harry really tries to get under Jamie's skin. And I think he manages to. That scene where Harry is shouting and Jamie just doesn't know what to do, again, just shows how human Jamie is and that he didn't want to do what he was doing, he was just lost. Unfortunately, things don't go down as planed and after a chase, back at the house, after another confrontation Harry has had enough of it and just shoots Jamie. That really was the breaking point an after that everything goes downhill.

The shot wound was worst than they thought and, even though Harry calls for the police and the ambulance, there's no way Jamie is going to make it. I must say, I was hopeful. I could see in Jamie's eyes, again, that he was suffering and he really didn't want to die (as he said). You could see in Matt Bomer's performance that Jamie was suffering and he was realizing that he loved life, he loved to live and... There was no time left. And it didn't.

Jamie died and Harry broke as well after seeing Jamie struggle and wanting to live. And that's it. That's the end of the season.

I think this episode was packed with emotion and, overall, I think this whole season was pretty intense. Yes, there could've been a bit more and more mystery, but up until episode 6 I kept having questions and I loved that about the season. I'm pretty happy with it!

The Sinner | Season 3 Episode 6 - "Part VI"

Hello people!

What an episode! When everyone thought this season didn't have anything else to give, they present us with this episode!

I knew there was so much more to this season, and I guess I was right. There were two particular events that really shocked/impacted me this episode.

The first one was when Jamie visits Sonya and... There's something shady about her, definitely. Yes, she comes to him, initially, with a shot gun, but then she starts taking photos of him and that scene really created some tension. I felt like at any minute Jamie would burst and something would happen but... It didn't. Still, that scene was so impactful and I'm sure I won't forget it anytime soon. Also, that scene really shows that there's more to the story, mainly with Sonya, so I'm really curious where that leads us.

Then, the second main event was the end of the episode, when Jamie buries Ambrose and he tricks him (or at least that's what we are lead to believe). I still think that there's more to it. Maybe the time is up and he's just taking the tube out because he's going to free Ambrose. I don't know, but I truly believe Jamie is not a bad person and I got back to feeling bad for him in this episode. Again, that scene with Sonya where he strips himself... Well, not only it was really nice to look at (judge me) but it really made him look vulnerable and I don't know, I just felt some type of way. Yes, it might be because it's Matt Bomer but regardless, I'm loving his portrait of Jamie and overall, Jamie is just really complex character.

Also, there's the flashback scenes that was really in awe. The younger-self's of Jamie and Nick were great! Not only they looked pretty much alike with Matt Bomer and Chris Messina, but their voice and their mannerisms where so spot on! Really well done job picking those actors and good job of the actors themselves.

Well, I don't think I have anything else to say. I'm still really excited and curious about the rest of the season and, for now, I don't have any more predictions. Let's see what the next episode brings.

The Sinner | Season 3 Episode 5 - "Part V"

Hello people!

That's right, here I am, once again, with a new The Sinner episode.

This week's episode was... interesting. I feel like it was more about the characters and not so much about the plot. Still, I was pretty invested and I have some new theories.

As per usual, we find more things about this whole Jamie situation. He was, indeed, who killed Kyle, the guy from that party, after he comes back to have a more insightful reading. Kyle talks a lot about how Nick was and says things that he used to say but after getting too deep into Jamie's head (or whatever) he decides to stop, and that's when Jamie gets mad and kills him. This whole interaction was presented to us through flashbacks throughout the episode and only in the end we see Jamie really kill him. And from all the things that Kyle said, I came up with something slightly different. I'm just going to go straight to that and then touch on the rest of the episode. So, Kyle says that Nick wants Jamie to keep going, that he's almost there but I thought he was already 'there'. I thought the 'look death in the face' was about seeing someone die and, at this point, Jamie has seen two people die and he's still not there? That makes me thing that it's not about someone dying, it's about you get close to dying - in this case, Jamie get close to dying, hence the grave. There's still a lot of things unexplained so I'm curious to see where this whole thing goes.

Post that we follow Harry. He quickly gets an hold of some evidence that might incriminate Jamie and he gets in touch with him. Jamie basically confesses everything to Detective Ambrose and the later tells him to just turn himself in. Jamie refuses to and just leaves. At this point you can see that Jamie is really out of his mind and, as much as I feel for him. I'm with Harry on this. And with this killing... There's no excuse.

And the last piece of this puzzle is Sony, the woman that owns the property where they had the accident. Harry tells her that she should be fine and that it was only a game but she's not satisfied and she goes to Leela and tells her everything about the grave and the night that Jamie had with Detective Ambrose. This was really shady and I'm so sure that this woman is hiding something. Every episode she gets more suspicious and this... This just was too much.

Well, with all that she found out, Leela ends up kicking Jamie out of the house, which leads him to make a visit to Detective Ambrose, when he had his grandson staying over with him. This just let to a minor fight that I'm pretty sure was Jamie's purpose - to instigate Harry just like Nick instigated him. Which makes me thing of another theory - Jamie is trying to 'recruit' Detective Ambrose. It's a really out there theory but there's a reason why Harry cares so much about Jamie - he sees himself in him, in a way, so that's a possibility.

Okay, I guess this might have been my biggest The Sinner rant so far.

The Sinner | Season 3 Episode 4 - "Part IV"

Hello people!

Here I am with the latest The Sinner review and... Wow! Just when I thought we had basically everything figured out, the show throw us another curve ball and leaves me confused all over again!

The truth is, this episode gave us all the answers (or so I thought). We follow Detective Ambrose and Jamie through New York City (which was super interesting, in my opinion) and throughout the episode they give us numerous clues. Also, we get s few flashbacks from the night when Nick died and those, more than the walk through New York, gave us the missing pieces.

Turns out I was half right (for now, at least). It looks like yes, they used to do a bunch of different things to 'face death', as they said in the show, but in that night Nick decided to change things up and he wanted to bury the woman that owned that house in the middle of the forest. And, as we suspected, Jamie wasn't okay with it and so he created the accident. But, unlike we thought, he didn't let Nick die on purpose. It was Nick's idea do die so Jamie could face death. That was so messed up but at least, just like in the previous seasons, proves that Jamie is not 100% guilty that there was more to the story. However, from the end of the episode, we know there's more to the whole thing.

In the end of the episode Detective Ambrose is notified of a new murder that occurred that night and, when he gets there, he realizes that the dead guy was the 'psychic' that told Jamie the prickly pear thing. So, I guess there's way more that we don't know about and there's for sure more to the story than just two guys playing God and 'facing death'. Well, we know that Nick as a sociopath but I don't know about Jamie... Maybe it's because it's Matt Bomer but I just feel sorry for Jamie and, in a way, I kind of connect with him. That whole speech about being lonely... That really got to me, and Jamie might be one of my favorite characters ever.

Anyway, post that, I have no more predictions. Everything that I thought already kind of got revealed but still the story is not done and so I have no idea where this is going. I just know that I'm super excited for the rest of the season and can't wait for the next episode (luckily I don't have to wait much).

The Sinner | Season 3 Episode 3 - "Part III"

OMG, this gets more intense with each episode!

Hello people! Here I am to talk about a new episode of The Sinner (yes, I know, I still have another one to review).

This episode just left me even more confused. If I already had a lot of questions, now I have even more. And when I thought Jamie was finally going to get better... Nope, he's just about to get worse.

Overall, not much happened and we didn't really find new things (hence why I'm still so confused) but we did get a pick into Jamie and Nick's past and we learned more about when they met in college. Turns out, Jamie changed once he met Nick and they started doing some weird stuff, from the looks of it. It really looked like they were doing what now what they used to do them, which isn't something new... We had kind of learned that in the first episode, but now we get a few more details. Also, Detective Ambrose finds something in a photography from Jamie's old roommate - Ubermensch - which is basically becoming your own god (?). I'm not too sure if I understood the concept correctly but it is based on the study of Friedrich Nietzsche, so you can look it up if you want to. For now, I would rather be in the dark - I feel like that creates a better atmosphere for the show. 

Anyway so, right now, I don't think they wanted to kill that woman. Instead, they just wanted to play with death and what they were doing was bury themselves alive, which might be some type of initiation. And maybe Jamie was doing it all over again because he didn't complete it the first time. Maybe things got out of control and he bailed. Unfortunately, I think this time things won't end up well because Jamie is really loosing it.

All of this makes up for good television though and I'm loving Matt Bomer's performance!

I really don't know what else to say about the episode. Everything else that happened doesn't look like as interesting or as important to me. Maybe Emma (Jamie's student) will play a bigger part in all of this but, for now, it looks like it's just a way to let us know that Jamie is really not well.

Detective Ambrose tries to help him in the end of the episode, but Jamie sees the whole thing as a way to force a confession out of him and just runs away.

I really can't wait for the next episode! It looks like the next one is going to be more intense so... Let's see.

The Sinner | Season 3 Episoe 1 - "Part I"

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new series here on the blog!

That's right! I decided to rant about another show. After Arrow ended, I felt like I should 'replace' it and there's so many series that I like and that I want to talk about so here it is. And, I asked you guys on twitter which one would you prefer and, it was actually a tie, but I went with The Sinner. The Sinner is not a show that I've been watching since the beginning. Actually, this is the first season that I'm really following. The previous ones I binge watched but still, I thought they were pretty unique and not only this is a show that always keeps you guessing (which is goo for theories and everything) but this is also an anthology, a bit like American Horror Story so I thought this was a good choice!

As for this season, I must say I was pretty excited about it. In case you didn't know, I'm an huge fan of Matt Bomer (I might have mentioned it on an American Horror Story rant) and if I already was excited about a new season, when they announced that Matt Bomer was going to be the lead of the third season, I was thrilled. And he did not disappoint!

This Season starts off pretty good! The premise is simple but there are a few clues that I think are going to throw us off and surprise us. But basically this season, and what we see in this first episode, is a man that has a car accident and is killed.

The connection between the seasons is Detective Harry Ambrose, who is called to the scene of this car accident. The driver, the one that died, was Nick Haas, a former college friend of Jamie Burns (played by Matt Bomer) who was also in the car but who survived. 

I really don't know what to touch on in this review. There are a few clues that allow us to piece together what happened that night. The only thing that we know, which is shown in the end of the episode is that Jamie did cause the accident and he didn't call 911 soon enough and let 'his friend' die on purpose. His intention with the accident was not to kill him, but after, he did basically refused to help him. Now the question is - why?

In all of this there's also a woman who is really suspicious, in my opinion. The owner of the land where they crashed. It looks like that road only lead to that woman's house so they must have wanted to go there. Also, the woman asks Harry if they had guns which might not look like much but that set a whole plot in my head.

So, my initial prediction, when Nick arrived at Jamie's house, unannounced, and after Jamie tells him he can't keep doing that was that they were lovers. But after the whole thing with that woman and after Jamie's wife asks him he there was anything romantic between them, I have another theory.

As of right now, I think Nick was a Hit-man and that him and Jamie used to do it in College (as they said during dinner). Nick was hired to killed that woman (she must have done something because she knew someone was after her) but Jamie didn't want to be part of that life anymore (hence why they haven't spoken for years). My other theory is that the woman was going to hire them to kill someone and she was, indeed, expecting them. I don't know for sure (obviously, this is only episode 1) but my bet is on my first theory, for now. But knowing this show, this is going to have some plot twists so I can't wait for the next one.

Before I end this rant I just wanted to say that I'm really happy that Matt Bomer got this role. I feel like he always plays similar roles and in this he can really show how good he is so, I'm thrilled and, again, can't wait for more.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 12 - "Be Our Guest"

Sadly, this season had to come to an end but we still have time for one last rant.

This last episode started with Liz talking about the renovation of the hotel. With the death of The Countess, Liz and Iris got what they wanted and are taking over the hotel. They renewed the hotel and, I have to say, the 'new' hotel looked amazing! The rooms were so much better and everything was so sofisticated. But, there was still a problem with the Hotel, the ghosts. The ghosts were still in the hotel and still causing problems. Iris and Liz meet with the ghosts and tell them they have to stop killing the guests, but Sally and Will don't want to. Fortunately, James March is still in charge, so he demands them to stop. 

They still don't want to, but Liz and Iris have a plan. Liz decided to help will come back with his line with Liz as the 'face' of the line, while Iris tells Sally they she can be part of the world without been out of the hotel, so she buys her a phone and get her a twitter, instagram and facebook account.

In this episode, we get a special appearance of Billie Dean Howard. Iris invites her so Liz can talk with Tristan, but it doesn't work that well. Tristan doesn't want to talk to Liz but, instead of Tristan, Billie gets to talk with Donovan, who tells her that he is in an amazing place, that he remembers Iris pancakes, the ones she used to give him ever Saturday morning and that, in the place he is, it looks like Saturday morning everyday. In the end, he tells that he loves his mum, Iris.

I have to say that was such a beautiful moment for me. Even thought Matt Bomer didn't really appear, I could totally picture him saying those things and it's nice to know that his character had a good end (probably the best one).

Later, Liz discovers that she has cancer and so she decides to die, and for that she invites the ghosts of the hotel to kill her, so she can reborn. As they are about to kill her, The Countess appears and she helps with Liz's killing, so she slits her throat and so, Liz dies that way, inside the hotel. After she died, Tristan appears and that is also a really beautiful moment. I'm a hopeless romantic so all those moments are so cute to me.

After Billie Dean went to the hotel, she started going there to make her show and the hotel got a bit more noticed. Every October 30th Billie Dean goes to the hotel to talk to John but with no luck. In 2020, John finally appears there and agrees to 'talk' with Billie. Just then, we find out what happened to John and we find out that he died a few years ago, outside the hotel.

So, he just goes to the hotel in Devil's Night, and that is where he brings Billie. She meets the other killers and there they offer her the choice of never mentioning the Cortez again, or she will be tracked down and murdered.

In the end of the episode, Billie goes away, John goes back to his family, just for the rest of the night and, right before the episode ends, we see The Countess, still in the hotel and still after men that look just like Donovan and Will.

This was probably the best ending out of all AHS seasons. We got to see how it all ended for every character, which is pretty cool, and basicaly every character had a good end, which is also pretty nice.

So, I don't know when the next season is going to start, so there won't be post about AHS for quite a while and, for that reason, I was wondering if you wanted me to start doing rants about Shadowhunters. The series premiered 2 days ago and I'm going to see the first episode tonight so, if you want me to start making rants about this new series, tell me in the comments or tweet me @danixinhahhh.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 11 - "Battle Royale"

Happy New Year everybody!

After beeing away from the blog for almost a month, I'm back and with a rant of an amazing American Horror Story episode!

This episode began almost like the previous one ended. We got to see how Liz and Iris got to their plan to kill The Countess and we see them, again, entering the room and shooting The Countess and Donovan. From the preview of this episode, I could tell that someone was going to die, and I was almost sure that it wasn't going to be The Countess so, it only could be Donovan, and I was right, unfortunately. To be honest, I was expecting for them to do something about him so he wouldn't die because I love Matt Bomer and I still had a little bit of hope he would develop a better relationship with Iris, but that didn't happen. 

Luckly, Iris and Liz got Donovan out of the Hotel before he died so he didn't get trapped in the Hotel, which is good.

The Countess was also shot, but she disappeared. It turned out that Sally saved her so The Countess would get John back and kill him. 

While Sally was taking care of The Countess, we got to see more of Sally's backstory, even though I think it doesn't really matter for the story. I mean, we saw how she met that 'white demon' but, apart from that, none of it was important for the storyline.

With no other plan, Iris and Liz decide to free Ramona so she would kill The Countess. But, when she goes to kill her, The Countess seduce her and they agree to have another round of sex and then Ramona kills her. We didn't really see what happened, because the next scene was just The Countess preparing to leave the Hotel, when she goes to step in to the elevator and John sees her and... kills her! Seriously, I wasn't expecting that at all! I kept thinking about who John was going to kill for the last commandment and I couldn't think of anyone. I saw some theories saying that he was going to kill himself but it turns out those theories were wrong.

Of course, John killed The Countess in the hotel, so she is going to stay there forever, as a ghost, just like Mr, March wanted, which is not the ideal plan but... It's already good.

And, well, the last scene is Mr. March and The Countess dinner, where he tells her that he can finally forgive her for turning him to the police. She tells him that it wasn't her and in that moment Hazel tells that it was her, because she loved (and still loves) him and wanted them to be together forever. I still had some hope Mr. March would say something meaningful and sweet but he banished from his presence and she just leaves, but not without saying some mean words to the Countess.

That's how the episode ended.

To me, this episode felt almost like the last episode of the season, because The Countess got killed, John commited his last murder... But we still have one more episode to come so, let's see how they're going to end this.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 10 - "She Gets Revenge"

So, I as I said before, here I am to rant about another American Horror Story episode.

I take back what I said before, this was probably the best episode of the whole season! It was creepy, it was lovely and it even was funny! 

The episode starts right away with one of the most beautiful scenes of the episode, Liz and Iris following an old couple that kill each other, so they die together. It might sound a little bit morbid but, for me, it was a beautiful scene, and Liz and Iris thought the same.

In that moment, both of them (Liz and Iris) decide that the best thing to do is also die, so they agree to die together, just like that old couple, but first, Liz has to reach back her son so he doesn't have unfinshed business and wouldn't be traped in the hotel.

So, along with Miss Ever, they get her son to go to the hotel in exchange for a bottle of bleach. That was one of the funny scenes in that episode, one of many.

The next scene is one of the best! In the previous episode, Donovan found out about Valentino so, as expected, he went after him and, guess what? He killed him! He freaking killed him! I was hoping he would do that, but I never thought it would actually happen! In that moment, I was so happy, because he finally got revenge!

At the same time as this happens, The Countess is with Natasha at the hotel and, let's say, Natasha tries to kill her but that doesn't goes as planned. The Countess ends up killing her.

In this episode, we also see more of John as the Ten Commandment Killer, as he is almost finishing with the Commandments. 

We also see John confronting Alex about everything and well... This was another scene that I quite enjoyed. I never really liked Alex but to see both of them getting together was really nice. Also, seeing them, almost in the end of the episode, leaving with Holden was so cute! I know The Countess is going to be pissed but, let' be real, that is going to be so much fun to see!

Oh, also, they go after all those kids that were turned and locked them next to Ramona which, as expected, got killed (at least, that's what they made us think).

Will Drake storyline was also mentioned in this episode. That's right that he got killed but, remember, he got killed inside the hotel, which means, he stayed trapped in there, which The Countess had forget about.

Back to Liz Taylor's storyline. She ended up really meeting her son and that was such a beautiful scene! He's such a nice guy and he said that he accepted her and that was so beautiful and nice too see, one fo the best parts of the episode, for sure!

And, as expected, Liz decides not to kill herself, which makes Iris a little upset, but Liz tell her that they should take over the hotel and that's what happens!

While all of this happens, The Countess and Donovan have dinner, and Donovan suggests that Valentino is no longer alive, so The Countess go to the hotel he was staying in and finds him dead. From this, we see Donovan 'rockin' to Hotline Bling by Drake, and that was my favourite scene of the whole episode! Seriously, I couldn't stop laughing! Then, The Countess comes back and Donovan tells her that he wants to die because his death is the only way that she would let him love her. She ends up not killing him but... That is when Liz and Iris appear and start shooting (along Hotline Bling again) and... The Episode just ends like that.

We sure know that the target is The Countess but I don't think she will end up died, even though in the preview for the next episode Liz and Iris are 'carring' a body and they are talking about how they actually did it!

I think that is Donovan who ends up dying, which I hope I'm wrong. Tell me in the comments who do you think died and which are you theorys.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 9 - "She Wants Revenge"

First of all, I want to say that I'm really sorry for updating really late but, to make up for it, today I'm going to post the rant of both Episode 9 and 10!

I'm going to start with Episode 9 (obviously) and I have to say that I really really liked this episode!

My sister saw it earlier and she said it wasn't that good but omg, I really liked and I can't wait to see the next one!

This episode is basically all about The Countess. We learn a little bit more of her backstory and also see what's going to happen now that Valentino and Natasha are out. Obviously, she goes after them because, afterall, they are her true loves. 

She decides that she wants to get back together with them (mostly Rudy) so her 'evil' plan starts.

In this episode she finally marries Will and, let's say, it doesn't really go well. I mean, her plan works out just fine, it just doesn't work out well for Will.

Apart from that, in this episode they finally talked about all those kids that were turned at the school.

It has been about 3 episodes and they haven't touched in hat subject, so I thought they forget about it, but I'm glad they didn't because I feel like that is going to be a huge part of the next episodes.

We don't see much of them, but we see that Alex find them and tries to take them to the Hotel Cortez. That doesn't really work out.

And, the last main thing happening in this episode was the revenge plan that Donovan and Ramona were working out. I really missed Matt Bomer so it was so nice to have more scenes with him in this episode but, I have to be honest, he kind of pissed me off. He ruined the plan to take down The Countess and in that moment I just wanted to slap him, gladly, Iris that that for me. Anyway, in the end of the episode he comes to his senses and realizes that The Countess doesn't really love him so I hope in the next episode he helps Ramona and goes one with their plan.

Mr. March was also in this episode, which was good, because he is one of my favourite characters if not my favourite! He introduced Will to Bartholomeu before The Countess lock him along with Ramona. Well, in the end, Ramona kills him so she doesn't die. 

And, well, that's basically it for this episode. 

To be honest, I quite enjoyed and now, I'm going to carry on watching the next one and I'll be back with a new post in about an hour.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 8 - "The Ten Commandments Killer"

After a week without an episode, I was really looking forward for this one, so I was kind of disappointed where this episode led. Not that I hated it, but I was really hoping they would think of something else for the Ten Commandments Killer storyline.

For once, the episode started right where the last one ended, which was a good point but, with that, I saw where the episode was going and I wasn't a bit surprised with came next.

Sure we found a bit more about the back story of the Ten Commandments Killer and about Mr. March which I didn't know could have more back story. 

In that way, the episode was really nice but the fact that we found out that John is the killer was a little bit of a let down. Everyone was already guessing that he was the killer so I was hoping they would come out with something else, but I was wrong, he is indeed the Ten Commandements Killer.

From the moment that he realizes he is the killer he goes to the morgue to confess is 'killings', and I, for a moment, really believed that he was really confessing and 'wanted' to go to the jail, but I was wrong and he didn't really wanted to confess. He wanted to kill Detective Hahn.

That moment in the morgue was also really nice to find out more about how he turned out to be the killer. We find out that he first went to the hotel in 2010 and it was when everything started. He met Mr. March that night in 2010, along with the countess and the rest of the 'Hotel crew'. He also see how the countess got to kidnap Holden and everything. It turned out to be a 'plan' between The Countess and Mr. March, which makes everything so much clear.

In those flashbacks he also find out the it was Mr. March who started as the Ten Commandments Killer and, after he died, he was looking for someone to continue his work, and that's how he got to John.

We also find out more about the relationship between Sally and John, which I haven't really realized that there was a proper relationship between them.

In the end, John accepts who he is and agrees to continue with the murders, which was kind of surprising to me, but which I really enjoyed.

Is safe to say that, my favourite part from the whole episode was Evan Peters. I just can't get enough of his character and he just looks so damn sexy in it, that accent, oh my...!

And, well, that's basically it for today's rant. Hope I made sense with this post because I'm not feeling that well and I got a little bit distracted in this post.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 7 - "Flicker"

What was even this episode of American Horror Story?! 

I really like it though, but I felt like this was kind of a filler episode.

The thing I that I loved the most about the episode was the interection between the Countess and Mr. March. I'm really loving Evan Peters in this role and he hasn't been much on the series, so was nice to see more of him, even if it was mostly on flashbacks.

And, talking about flashbacks... It was, again, nice to see more of The Countess' story, and we finally found out how she became a vampire. 

Something quite interesting that I noticed in the episode was the re-introduction of Finn Wittrock. I guess they just loved him too much to just kill his character and never have him on the show again. So, they had to create another character for him to play. Unfortunately, I didn't really like this new idea of him playing another character, it just got a little too much confuing for me. It is nice to see the same actors play different character in each season, but it's confusing when the same actor plays different characters in the same season, just my opinion.

And, that ending! First, let's just take a moment to talk about the fact that I actually believed that John was going to mental institution because he really thought he needed it. I never thought it was because of something else, which is pretty clever of him, to be honest. And that girl, like... ?! I didn't remember that girl at all and I wasn't expecting her to die in the end. Sure, it was going to be a little bit too easy to just know the killer like that, so she had to die, but still... I thought she would so something else. I don't know, I just wasn't expecting her to kill herself.

So, yeah, this is basically it. Overall, it was a good episode, just not great. I feel like this season had better episodes and the only thing that 'saved' the episode was Evan Peters performance as James March, which I'm liking more and more with every episode.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 6 - "Room 33"

The craziest episode of American Horror Story: Hotel aired yesterday so, as usual, today I'm here to talk with you about it.

For sure, it was one of the most exciting episodes of the season. It was crazy, gory, sexy, shocking, everything you want in an episode.

To start with something big, the beggining of the episode showed a flashback of Elizabeth (The Countess) in the Murder House. Yeah, you heard me, the Murder House! I've already heard about this flashback but I never knew if it was really true or if it was just a rumor, but in this episode we found out that it is true! In a previous interview, Ryan Murphy said that, although all the seasons had a different theme, they were all connected. And we can see part of that in this episode. We see that the Countess was pregnant and that she went to Dr. Charles Montgomery to get an abortion. It turns out that the baby is still alive when they get him out of her and well... You know, it's AHS so... Something creepy happens. The first thing that crossed my mind was that her baby is the creepy creature that there was in Season 1, but I think I'm missing something. We just see the face of the 'baby' in the end of the episode but it kind of looked like that thing... I don't know, if you guys got anything else that I didn't got, please tell me in the comments.

Anyways... In this episode we finally know something about Scarlett. Well, turns out her amazing mother left her in a friends house and she spent two days there because her mum never picked up the phone... She's now going to grandma's house because of John's breakout. I feel kind of sorry for him. Everyone is making him feel like he's loosing his mind when, in fact, he is the one that knows everything (or almost everything) from the start, he just didn't believe it.

We also see more of those two girl that checked in the hotel in the first episode. I thought they wouldn't bring them to the story anymore but, in fact, they were a pretty important thing in this episode. Not that their story matter, at least, not in my opinion, but it was nice to see a little bit more of them. We now really see that the people that die there, never leave the hotel.

And, the second major thing in this episode, Liz Taylor and Tristan together! I would never in a million years would think that they had or would have a thing, but it turns out that they love each other and have been 'together' for about three weeks. But, anything is that simple in this series. You know what happened to Ramona's great love right?! Well, this is a major spoiler so... Basically, Trsitan dies in this episode! I was kind of expecting it to happen, to be honest, when Liz went to talk to Elizabeth, but I still had a little bit of hope, but... Nope... The Countess is really a b*tch and 'she doesn't share'. I love Lady Gaga but her character is seriously starting to piss me off.

So, as you can see, this was a major episode for American Horror Story and I can't wait to find out more about the connecting with Season 1.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 5 - "Room Service"

This weeks episode of American Horror Story was a more 'down to earth' kind of episode. At least, in my opinion. It doesn't mean that I didn't like it, I actually really enjoyed it. I feel like with American Horror Story we are always getting loads of information and the episodes are always really intense, so this episode was a little bit more chill which is good once in a while.

The episode began with Alex in the hospital, trying to figure out how to live and struggling with her new life, now that she's a vampire.

You guys remember that kid who was sick and that Alex was treating? So, she freaking gave her blood to that kid! Which means, she turned him. As everyone would figure out, it woudln't work out well, but I wasn't expecting at all what happened next. I figured out he would kill his parents but, turning his whole class?! That scene was just really unexpected. Which made it a freaking cool scene. That was one of the highlights of the episode, in my opinion.

Something else that I quite enjoyed was to have Matt Bomer back, even just for a few seconds. I hope that we can see more of his relationship with his mother in the next episodes, because that is one of the things that I like the most in this season. On the other hand, we didn't have Evan Peters at all in this episode. Well, it seems like we won't have Matt Bomer and Evan Peters in the same episode, which sucks, because I love them both so much.

Anyways, the Iris storyline was really good too. I really enjoyed seeing her with Liz Taylor and, of course, knowing Liz's story was really good too, I really really enjoyed it, afterall, that was basically the only character that we didn't know anything about his past, so it was cool to finally find out.

Oh, and let's not forget about Darren Criss special appearance! When they announced he was going to be on AHS I thought he was going to have a bigger role but it was nice to see him in the series anyway, even though he already died. Oh, and also, the other girl from awkward (which I can't remember the name, sorry). 

John wasn't much in this episode and, even though this isn't really a nice thing to say, I quite liked the fact that he wasn't much on the episode. In the past episodes, he was such a big part of the storyline, so it was nice to see more of the other characters and not just him and his problems. We sure saw some things about his life, but not as much as in the other episodes. I'm sure in the next episode we will see more of him so, that's fine.

And finally, the episode ended with Alex and Holden sleeping together. I seriously don't know what to think about this mother and son relationship. Alex just looks really weird and I don't really like her character. I don't suppose we should like her so, that's fine. And also, something that really bothers me is that she just cares about Holden and what about Scarlett?! What's up with her?! We never saw more of her and now both her parents are living in the Hotel Cortez... I wonder where she is and why doesn't Alex also cares about her! I know all the love thing that she has with Hodel but c'mon, Scarlett's also her daughter.

Anyways, I hope we find out what's up with her.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 4 - "Devil's Night"

American Horror Story's Halloween episode aired yesterday and what an amazing Halloween episode!

I felt like this episode was so creepy. A little bit confusing, but so creepy. The stuff that happened in this episode just kept me thinking about what the hell was happening?!

That dinner called "Devil's Night" (the episode name) was the highlight for me. All those killers in the same room, doing some creepy sh*t, I might say, was seriously the best part of the episode. I also really liked Evan Peters in this scene and I have to say this, I think this might be Evan Peters' best character. I really liked Tate but the way he is playing this character is just amazing and he keeps me 'glued' to the screen.

It got me a little bit confused at the end of tha scene, when John is alone with Sally but I think I'll understand in the next episodes, and it wasn't a big thing anyways, at least, I think.

Apart from that, the other thing that happened was that Alex found out about Holden and that scene where Holden drinks Scarlett's dog blood just got me in shock! Seriously, I wasn't expecting it at all. I sure was expecting something to happen, like he would run away or something but that?! Nope. 

Something that got me really surprised was that the Countess told Alex about everything, or almost everything, and, let's not forget about the end of the episode like WTF?! I get that she loves her son but... omg that was other thing that I wasn't expecting and that got me really surprised. We are running out of alive characters and that kind of worries me. 

This wasn't the best episode of this season, I kind of feel like this was almost a filler, but it was a good episode anyway. I missed Matt Bomer though, and I was really curious about how the relationship between Donavan and his mum would be now that he turned her in a 'vampire', which made me sad that they didn't talk about that in this episode. Hopefully we will see more of him and his mum next episode.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 3 - "Mommy"

I swear to god, American Horror Story gets better and better with each episode. 

I feel like this episode was a little bit emotional. With the last episode, we got to see how everything happened and got to learn more about each character, and with this episode I feel like we got to see the result of what happened. Sure we also get some back story, mostly from Angela Basset's character, which I was so excited to see, but I think what was important in this episode was the relationships between each character.

Another thing... This series is getting more sexual with every episode, what I kind of like, to be honest. Well, we couldn't expect something else from Lady Gaga, isn't it?

The highlight for me in this episode was Donovan's and his mother relationship! I really like Matt Bomer as a bad boy but I prefer him a little bit more sweet, and that last scene in the episode was just perfect! For sure, Lady Gaga's character is going to get pissed, afterall, we saw what she did when the same thing happened to Angela Basset's character, right?! But, that's what I'm most excited to see next. Just can't wait to see what evil plan Lady Gaga's character is going to do and, of course, how Donovan's and his mom relationship is going to change, because I'm sure it is going to change.

Also, I really felt sorry for John... The Hotel is really messing with his head and I feel like we are losing like, the 'down-to-eath' character that we had... I just hope he works out something.

A character that I'm not really enjoying is Tristan like, he kind of pisses me off. I really like Finn Wittrock but his character is just so anoying. 

I also didn't understand the point of Will Drake but now I get it, the Countess wants to marry him and kill him so she can have his money... I don't see that working out, to be honest but, let's see what happens.

Really liked to see Evan Peters again and I feel like his characters is one of the most interesting ones. He has quite a story and that really keeps me locked to the screen. I always want to know more about his story and, to be honest, I can't wait to see him like in action in real life. 

And yeah guys, overall, the series keep better and better and I just can't wait to see more of Donovan and Mr. March. Tell me in the comments what is your favourite character from this season and what did you thought about this episode.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 2 - "Chutes and Ladders"

Episode 2 of AHS: Hotel aired yesterday and, of course, I'm here today to rant about it.

To be honest, I think this episode was as good as the first one. This episode just gave more details about everything that happens in the hotel and now I feel like I completely understand it. We got a view on how the hotel's story beggan and, with that, they introduced us to Evan Peters character, finally! I missed Even in the first episode because he is basically the soul of the show. A season without Evan Peters wouldn't be the same thing, that's for sure!

We also understood all the 'vampire' thing, and we now we can proper call them vampires, even though this vampires have some particullar caracteristis, which is cool, because shows keep doing the same vampires and, don't get me wrong, I love the 'traditional' vampires but it's good to change things up once in a while.

Also, I keep getting amazed with all the scenarios in this season! Seriously, the hotel itself is already amazing but the other locations that they use are also pretty amazing.

I kind of missed Angela Basset so I hope they introduce her in the next episode.

Something that I didn't quite like/understand/agree is how the hell Lady Gaga's character left Matt Bomer's character? Seriously, who dumps Matt Bomer?! I know I wouldn't! And, with that guy? (I mean, I love the actor, which name I can't remember but, seriously?)

Anyways, I can't wait to see more things about Evan Peters's character because he seemed quite a pretty interesting character and I also can't wait to know what's going to happen between Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer because he seemed pretty pissed with her... just saying!

And well, I think that's it for today's rant. I know it's smaller than the previous one but I feel like, even thought a lot happened in this episode, not much happened... Did you get me? I feel like most of the episode was to understand all this characters and I've already told you what I thought about that. I now, I'm just waiting to get into the really creepy stuff because that's what I love the most about this show.

American Horror Story: Hotel | Season 5 Episode 1 - "Checking In"

American Horror Story: Hotel finally started and what a way to start! This episode was just what I was expecting it to be! 

I feel like I should start with the scenarios. That hotel is just amazing! Loved the beggining of the episode where we can see clearly every part of the of the hotel (or at least, almost every part). Other thing that I noticed about this episode that is kind of different from the other seasons of AHS is the soundtrack, Just like the scenarios, the soundtrack of this episode was just amazing! I think it suited perfectly with the episode and it gave the episode a different style from what I was used to from AHS, but in a good way. 

Now, let's get into specifics. The scene that was just like WOW in that episode is the scene that I chose to post in the banner. That scene between Lady Gaga's character and Matt Bomer's character (with the other two 'extras') was just... I don't even have words for it, For sure, this season is way more sexual than the previous ones, but with Lady Gaga in it, what were you supposed to expect?! And, let's just say, Matt Bomer is the BEST THING in this season. Seriously, that man is just hot hot hot. I kind of missed Evan Peters, though. Hopefully he will be in the next episode, which I'm really excited about.

To resume this first episode of this amazing season (which I'm sure is going to be), my thoughts are that this is really a different season for AHS. I feel like this season doesn't have that super scary scenes, but some weird sh*t happens in that hotel. I'm still trying to figure out all that 'white man' stuff that was rapping Max Greenfield's character while Sally (Sarah Paulson's character) was watching but I already understood the main part of the season, which is Lady Gaga's character and all her 'kids'... I'm sure Ryan Murphy is going to come up with some twist but, for now, I think I understand it. I also think that this first episode was a little bit confusing, because there's a lot going on at the same time and, even though at the beggining I didn't think they were connected, by the time the episode was ending I realized everything is connected in that hotel which makes me really excited to find out more about all the creepy stuff that happens in there (which is a lot, by the way).

So, yeah, this are my first toughts in this season premiere of American Horror Story. I have super high expetations about this season so, can't wait for the next episode!
