The Challenge | Season 40 Episode 06 & 07 - "My Real Friends Era" & "Trust in Your Era"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

First of all, I'm sorry I'm posting this so late and I actually missed last week's post so that's why this is a two in one (I almost did a three in one but I'm not sure when I'm going to watch the next episode so I'm just going to do it now).

These past two episodes were a ride! One, because I saw spoilers for both of them, and Two, because Era I is losing more and more members to the point that, right now, it's just Rachel and Derrick. Yes, I'm going straight to that - I'm sure all of you have seen the episodes already so I can just get to that. It was really hard for me to pick between Darrell and Kyland because you know I love Kyland and I truly think he might be the winner of this season, but after Tina loosing to Michele (and don't even get me started on that!) I was hoping for someone from Era I to stay. Well, that didn't happen. And worst, Michele stayed... Ugh! I was really hoping she would go home now... I'm so sick of her! She's not all of that, she's not the player she thinks she is and I'm actually started to get back to not liking Devin that much because of his relationship with Michele - it really is ruining him.

Anyway, now that I've talked about the big thing in the last episode, let's rewind a bit to episode 6 and well, if I'm being honest, I don't exactly remember much that happened in that episode. I only remember that Era IV won which was big because Jenny was on the line! I was super happy about that, unfortunately, she's a target once again for episode 8 and I'm really sick of that because we're on episode 8 and Kaycee hasn't been a target once! Oh, and Kaycee talking sh*t about Jenny in episode 6?! What the f*ck was that about?! Saying that she's not interesting and she only talks about her pets and food? Well, she's more interesting that Kaycee because most episodes I just forget that Kaycee is in the season... In terms of elimination, it ended up being Era I and Era III, so Rachel against Jonna and Cory against Brad and, this time, I was happy with the outcome! I'm always team Rachel and, as far as the guys go, I could do with either of them. I'm not particularly found of Brad but I could say the same for Cory so... It only hurt that Era I lost another player but, apart from that, Cory winning was fine.

As far as this episode goes (Episode 7), the highlights for me were definitely Tina - I can't believe I wasn't a fan of hers in All Stars and now I'm loving her. It's sad that she went home, even worst being sent home by Michele, but I have faith in Rachel and Derrick to take Era I to the final. As I said, since day one, my TOP to win were Horacio, Kyland and Derrick and two of those are still in the game so... Let's go Derrick and Rachel, I have faith in them! Also, Darrell finalling conquering his fear of heights! That was HUGE and I was so happy for him! And maybe that was the key for Era I to not get last place, which is also an achievement!

Lastly, but certainly not least, we're getting a bit more heated with the target nominations - not everyone is self-nominating anymore and that is creating some chaos. Again, Cory was nominated over Devin, Bananas was p*ssed that once again Ryan wasn't nominated (but at least Derek was) and, the worst, Jenny was nominated again instead of Kaycee... Ugh! That is so annoying! I seriously hope some of these people align with eachother (the ones that are sort of on thei own) and turn on their team-mates, because it is really getting tiring (and I'm not even that big of a fan of Cory).

I have no idea how the next episode is going to go, I just have faith in Era I although we saw that Cory and Derrick will have a fight so... I'm scared of that but I'm looking forward to that.

Again, I'm sorry I took way too long with this review, I'm going to try to not do the same for the next episode (which is coming out tomorrow). I hope you still liked it and tell me what you think about this whole self-nominating situation and people not volunteering. I'll talk to you soon!

Love,
Daniela

The Challenge | Season 40 Episode 5 - "An Era Tradition"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

Isn't it weird that we took a break for one week?! I was very busy last week so I wasn't going to watch the episode on time, but then I found out that, because of the VMAs, we didn't get a new episode, which was good for me because now I can watch it right after airing and can discuss it with you all. Unfortunately, not only this wasn't the best episode when it comes to the outcome but also I came across some spoilers before watching the episode so I already knew who was going into elimination, which isn't ideal.

So, I'm going to try and get to the point.

From the preview last week we saw that something was about to go down with Era II - Laurel throwing the challenge so Emily would go into elimination. Well, it wasn't that obvious in the episode (mainly because they didn't loose) but she definitely did, and that got them second place therefore Emily not safe from elimination. Who got safe were Olivia and Kyland which I loved! What I didn't love though (and I know I'm getting everything mixed) was when that whole drama happened between Laurel and Cara Maria that Kyland sort of took Laurel's side. C'mon Kyland, I expect more from you! And speaking of Laurel and Cara Maria, this episode wasn't even about them and they became a big part of it. Personally, I'm so done with Laurel. I'm so glad that she's the target of Era II next week and, even though I don't want Bananas to go home, I really wish they would go straight into elimination.

But, rewinding a bit, Era IV won the daily challenge and honestly, that was so surprising! I was also surprised that Era I lost again and this time CT was on the line.

I'm not gonna lie, the spoiler that I saw was that Emily and Tina were going into elimination, therefore Nehemiah and CT were going as well and because my sister saw some other spoilers she let it slip that this wasn't the best episode and I understood right away that CT was going home - and he did.

Honestly, it was a pretty close elimination (as far as the guys go) so I can't really be mad at anyone in this situation. It's really sad that we won't have any more CT Pro Tips though...

Now, let's talk about the women's elimination because that one was shocking! Anyone would put their money on Emily knowing that she was going against Tina - no matter which challenge it would be. Well, Tina just went there and completely smashed that elimination and sent Emily home. Well, that's the easy version. The rumor that has been going around (again) is that the production sort of rigged it. How was it possible for her to completely smash those nails and take all of them basically at once when neither Emily nor either of the guys could do it?! And they tried! So something smells fishy here. I did want Emily to win just to piss Laurel off, but I've been enjoying having Tina around and poor Rachel couldn't be the only woman on Era I. Era I is dropping like flies and that doesn't look good for the future of the challenge. We always say that the OGs are the best ones but right now, it's not looking that great. I still have my money on either Derrick or Kyland to win the whole thing, and right now, Derrick is looking stronger, apart from what we saw in the preview for next week.

We didn't get much from that preview but we saw what looks like a 'mini-final' type of challenge (with a lot of running and obstacles and whatnot) and it looks like Derrick got pretty injuried and they were mentioning a broken leg?! I don't know but I don't like it.

Anyway, at the end of the day, I just hope Derrick is fine and that Laurel goes home because I just can't take her bullsh*t anymore!

And I guess that's it from me for this episode. I'm sorry if this rant was a bit all over the place but I tried to cover all the main events in the episode (I didn't touch on all the hook ups yet, but I will in my next post). In the meantime, let me know what you thought of this episode - do you agree that the production did something to Tina's nails so she would win? Tell me everything in the comments and I'll talk to you next week!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 40 Episode 4 - "My Trivia Era"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

Back for another episode of The Challenge Season 40. Unfortunately, this wasn't as good of an episode. I mean, it didn't end that badly, but a few things p*ssed me off a little bit. And I guess I'll just start with that.

I already knew going into this episode that something was about to go down with Horacio. I've heard rumors that Horacio was going to retire from The Challenge partly because he wants to focus on his Football carreer and partly because he feels like his elimination was rigged. Well, when I've heard about this, I had no idea that he was going into elimination in this episode but after, while watching this episode, I figured this would be it. So, not only this episode wasn't that big of a surprise but also it was rigged.

So, backtracking a little bit... I was actually super stoked for this episode because it was Trivia Day! And I love me some trivia. I don't necessarily love when it's only about The Challenge, I like real trivia about the world, but that's fine. This one though was fully about The Challenge but it was played in a points format so it was interesting. I was a bit let down that Era IV finished last (having in mind that Kyland is on that Team, but I guess he's more well rounded on world stuff and not so much on Challenge stuff) and that meant that both Horacio and Jenny were going into elimination right away. And that's where my suspicions about him going home in this episode started.

Then the game went on for quite a while with both Era II and Era III being tied and having to fo into Sudden Death. Ultimately Era II won which meant Bananas was safe but also meant Laurel was safe, and I despise Laurel! I've always disliked Laurel but now I dislike her so much to the point that I'm becoming a fan of Cara Maria! Like, that's how much Laurel has been p*ssing me off in this past seasons.

Moving on to the 'deliberation', obviously I wanted Jordan and Nia to go into elimination because I don't necesarily like either of them and I quite like Derrick and Aneesa, and Johnny was all for sending Jordan into elimination but Laurel wasn't having none of it and Bananas didn't want to pull a Tony so he let Laurel decide so... Derrick and Aneesa it was.

(I honestly really wanted Bananas to say f*ck you to Laurel and send themselves into elimination against Horacio and Jenny, I was pretty confident that Bananas could win against Horacio, but knowing now what the elimination was, I'm not so sure)

This made things a lot more difficult for me in terms of who I was rooting for because, if you have been reading my posts, you know that both Horacio and Derrick were on my TOP 3 of who I thought could win (along with Kyland). But ultimately I was rooting for Jenny and I guess I was rooting for Horacio just because I didn't want the rumors to be true but... Guess what?! They were!

So the woman's elimination was pretty tight but Jenny ended up winning in the end, but the man one was even closer, to the point that when they finished, they didn't know who won. To me, it was clear that Horacio had won, but you already know what the outcome was. Derrick ended up winning and now I totally agree with Horacio saying that this elimination was rigged. It was clear that Horacio had won, and if they wanted us to believe otherwise they should have done a better editing job! Like it was totally visible that Horacio got all those things in place first and that Derrick had one missing in the corner like, what the hell?!

Anyway... I'm happy for Derrick because I also like him but this left a bitter taste in my mouth. And after seeing the preview for the next episode... It just made me really mad.

Oh, and I totally forgot to mention - again, they had to choose targets so the targets they chose were the following - Era I: CT and Tina (both volunteered); Era II: Emily (volunteered) and Nehemiah; Era III: Tori (Volunteered) and Devin; Era IV: Olivia (Volunteered) and Kyland. So my takeaway with this is that men are scared of CT (basically) and that all the woman are way more confident than the men. Also, this lineup isn't as strong as the previous one but it also doesn't have as many players that I like so I guess I'm hoping Era IV wins the challenge and that Era II and Era III go into elimination... I do like Emily and CT and Tina is funny (so that's why I don't want them to go into elimination) but the only one that I really like is Kyland so I hope he's safe.

And I guess that's it from me for this episode. An episode that wasn't had bad when it comes to its outcome but one that really made me bitter for what they did with Horacio.

Don't forget to let me know your opinion on this whole Horacio thing and I'll talk to you next week with a brand new episode.

Love,
Daniela

The Challenge | Season 40 Episode 3 - "A Fatal Era"

Spoiler Alert!

Hey everyone!

Another great episode of Season 40 of The Challenge! This one brought us a ton of those great moments and great things that we look foward to in an episode, starting with eating challenges and ending with a ton of plot twists.

So, I guess we did get a little bit of a introduction to the episode but I would say we jumped straight into the main challenge and the first thing the teams had to do was choose two captains (a male and a female) for each team. TJ didn't tell them what that entitled, not until the end of the challenge, so they had to make a blind choice. They almost went with the ones that won the last elimination but Aneesa wasn't having none of it and I didn't really see anyone else pushing forward with that idea so they just kind of did it randomly. So, for Era I we've got Jodi and Darrell as the captains, Era II we got Derek and Aviv, Era III Tony and Avery and Era IV Kaycee and Kyland.

This week's challenge was pretty exciting! Again, a challenge with multiple parts and that gave us a bit of everything - initally a bit of strenght and coordination with them rowing around the island, then they moved to a good old eating challenge and, this time, I was happy to see that they got vegan options for those that are vegan (as someone who doesn't eat meat, I've always wondered about that, so it's nice to see that they're thinking about that now) and lastly the third part of the challenge was sort of a memory game with them having to put all 40 seasons in order.

For some reason, I had a feeling this was Era III's so win, and that's what happened. I was pretty happy because both Tony and Avery are some of my favourites, but then Era I got last place and even though Jodi isn't really someone that I root for, I do like Darrell. And then we had Kyland on Era IV that I also didn't want to see up for possible elimination, but all of this changed when we got to the 'Deliberation'.

I didn't really knew that well that Avery and Derek were really big friends (even before The Challenge) so that started a whole thing. Avery wanted to protect Derek but Tony wanted to make a deal with Kyland and Kaycee so they didn't get to a decision and you can guess where that led them, right?! It was up in the air for most of the episode but, at the end of the day, neither of them made a decision and so they went straight into elimination. Definitely not the best case scenario and, even though I love Tony, I have to be on Avery's side for this one. Avery is friends with Derek while Tony has no alliegance to anyone and any of those people. I love Kyland as well but he should've been the one going into elimination and now knowing what the elimination was, I was pretty certain he would've won.

Anyway, so it was Avery and Tony against Jodi and Darrell but, in reality, this was an individual elimination so it was just Avery against Jodi and Darrell against Tony, in a challenge that was pretty physical but it had a lot of thinking as well. And I guess it ended in the best way it could've. Darrell and Avery won! Again, I love Tony, but he was so dumb with his choice so he totally deserved to go home. It's not even a girl power thing (even though I'm all for girl power and Avery just making a point) but it's just dumb to think that she would go against her real life friend... Anyway... So Tony went home and, because karma is a b*tch, Avery won so... Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this outcome. But the excitement doesn't end here.

The episode ended with TJ throwing us another twist - the winners of the elimination pick targets from each team (two targets, a male and a female), and these targets will be the 'captains' for the next challenge which means we already know who's up for elimination overall. Darrell chose the females for each Era and Avery the males and, in the end, this was what they went with: Era I - Derrick and Aneesa; Era II - Laurel and Bananas; Era III - Jordan and Nia; Era IV - Horacio and Jenny. So, with this lineup, it will definietely be a great elimination regardless of who's winning and who's going straight into elimination. These are all really strong players and as far as the girls go, I would say Nia is the one with a bit more trouble but the guys! Damn! Derrick, Bananas, Jordan, Horacio, these are all such strong guys! I'm scared for Horacio, not gonna lie, mainly because all the others have the experience but maybe Era IV will win the main challenge and he will be safe. And speaking of main challenge, next episode is TRIVIA DAY! And I'm so excited about that! I love physical challenges but I always get so excited when it's Trivia Day so let's bring it!

Again, so far so good so let's keep this going! I'm loving this Season and my TOP 3 is still in the game so we'll see... Don't forget to let me know what you thought of this episode - Do you agree with what Tony did? Or are you on Avery's side? Tell me everything and I'll speak with you next week!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 40 Episode 2 - "The Era Invitational, Part 2"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

Back for another great episode of The Challenge Season 40!

I must say, they really are doing everything to make this season as iconic as possible - as they should! Not only the Era's theme is already so exciting but they had a great challenge last episode and in this unprecedented episode we had only eliminations. 1 hour full of the most iconic eliminations in Challenge history with some of the most iconic players! If this isn't a great start to a new season, I don't know what is.

So, they completely jump the whole debate thing and the decision and we get straight into the elimination. However, they did something that they have never done before again, they showed some 'flashbacks' from what happened after deliberation in between the eliminations, which was good to spice things up and made it for a not so boring episode (because, let's be honest, what we really want to see are the challenges and eliminations).

Let's go through Eras then...

Era I ended up being Katie against Aneesa and Mark against Derrick, which was sort of predictable. It didn't keep Aneesa from being mad at Rachel though... And their elimination was Pole Wrestle - a good old iconic elimination. Oh yeah, I completely forgot to mention that this elimination was made out of the 4 most iconic eliminations from the challenge - one for each Era - so Balls In, Pole Wrestle, Hall Brawl and Take Shelter (the one that CT lost against Jay). This was a pretty exciting elimination because we thought it would be easy but oh boy, not really! Yes, Aneesa ended up winning, but Katie put up such a good fight that everyone, me included, were shocked! And the same goes for Mark and Derrick although, Derrick ended up winning which ultimately, was the one that I wanted to win! Honestly, as of now, my money is on three guys to win this whole season and Derrick is one of them. I would actually love for someone from Era I to win just to show that they might be old, but they're still the strongest ones.

Anyway, moving on to Era II, I would say this was the least exciting elimination game (just because it isn't as physical) but everyone played at the same time and there was a lot on the line so it was Cara Maria against KellyAnne and Ryan against Brandon. Obviously I was rooting for Ryan and Ryan ended up winning but, as for the girls, I was pretty torn. I don't necessarily love either of them and part of me was rooting for KellyAnne just because she's the underdog but I also didn't want Laurel to get her way so I wanted Cara to win...  Well, Cara did win at the end so... I guess that's fine. I don't like how Bananas is positioning himself in the game right now so I hope that changes but (spoilers for Era III) with Leroy gone and Tony slightly mad that Bananas was cheering for Leroy so much... I don't know if Bananas is allining himself with the people that I like, but we'll see.

I've mentioned Era III already so you know that Leroy ended up going against Tony and that Leroy lost. This was actually a pretty fair fight. They played Balls In and they have the same physic but Tony was just too strong and honestly, I was rooting for Tony the most. I just feel like his time last season (All Stars season) was cut short and he wasn't able to show what he's capable off and Leroy was supposed to win that All Stars season so... I really want Tony to go far this season. As for the girls, it was Amanda against Nia and it went as we thought it would, sort of. Amanda did manage to score a point but just because Nia wasn't paying attention. Then, Nia just ran over Amanda and she totally beat her. As she should (thank god Amanda is gone).

Lastly, but certainly not least, Era IV was the most epic I would say. Not for the best reasons though because Nurys went against Olivia on an Hall Brawl and lost but because Paulie went against Theo and Theo won! Theo won against Paulie! That was priceless! I'm sad that Nurys is gone though, I really thought she could go far but Horacio and Kyland are still in the game and those are my other two guys that I think can win this whole season. Right now, without knowing a lot, just based on skills (and who I like, let's be honest) I would say Derrick, Horacio or Kyland will win this season. And I'm totally fine with either of them.

But the elimination didn't end here. Everyone went back to the house apart from the ones that were eliminated and TJ introduced something new - the Karma vote. Basically the ones eliminated had to rank from 1 to 5 the remaining members of their respective Era and that will play a part in the future. What, I have no idea, but this makes things interesting. Also, we still don't know how the challenges will play from now on and how the eliminations will be because these were some different eliminations so there's still a lot to figure out. And from what we've seen in the preview those karma votes will switch things up in the game in the future (something tells me they will make new teams, but I hope I'm wrong, honestly). There's still so much to look forward to and I can't wait. I'm sad a lot of my favourite players went home but I still have a lot of people in the game that I like - Bananas, CT, Derrick, Devin, Horacio, Jenny, Kyland, Tony... so many! I'm excited!

So far this season is looking promising so tell me your thoughts on this eliminations only episode - were you surprised by any of the winners? did any of your favourites went home? Tell me everything in the comments and I'll talk to you next week with a brand new episode!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 40 Episode 1 - "The Era Invitational, Part 1"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

OMG, it has been ages since I've posted! Do I even know how to do this?!

I planned on ranting about the newst All Stars season but I kept on missing episodes and when I watched them they had been out for a while so I just decided "well, this isn't the main show so I'll just skip it" but this is the main show so I had to comeback for this one. Plus, this is an highly anticipated season - every Era against each other - and I'm so stoked about that!

This post won't cover every single thing that happened in this episode because so much happened (and we didn't even get to an elimination) but I'm going to try my best.

We actually jumped right into everything! The truth is, we know these people, we don't need an introduction. And I'm actually super stoked that, for once, I have multiple people here that I love - Bananas of course, but also Tony, Rachel, Nurys, Mark, Leroy, Kyland, Horacio, Devin, Derrick, Darrell, CT and Jenny is back! So the chances of someone that I like wining is high. However, there's also a ton of people that I don't like and honestly, I don't know which Era I'm rooting for. I would say Era I has the higher number of people that I like but Era IV is a close second, even tho that's also the era that has the higher number of people that I don't like at all! And then there's Era II which is Bananas' era so... It's really a mix, but I'm rambling - let's get to the first challenge.

As I said, they jumped right into a challenge and a big one with high stakes - this challenge will lead to 8 eliminations, one man and one woman for each Era, to eliminate the weak links. That was exciting, and the first ones to finish this challenge - hence safe from elimination - were also pretty good - CT and Rachel for Era I, Cory and Tori for Era III, but unfortunately, even though both Bananas and Horacio won for their respective Eras, Michele and Laurel also won so... It's not all good.

Then, straight into elimination were the ones that finished last - Mark and Katie for Era I, Ryan and KellyAnne for Era II, Leroy and Nia for Era III and Theo and Nurys for Era IV. This does make for an exciting elimination but it's not the best case scenario.

Everyone else that didn't win is up for elimination and it's the wining pairs that will choose and that's when the animotisies begin, starting off with Cara Maria and Laurel. I used to despise both of them and I wouldn't have cared about this, if it wasn't for last All Stars' season. What that last All Stars season did was make me more sympathetic towards Cara Maria and this whole thing with Laurel is just so annoying. Laurel has always been super annoying but this whole situation is even worst and it doesn't even make any sense for Laurel to  want to put Cara Maria into elimination because she's clearly the strongest female out of the three that are up for elimination - for some reason she was second after Laurel, before anyone else, even before Bananas (and you guys know I love Bananas).

Someone else that keeps being super annoying is Michele, and her whole 'friendship' with Olivia...  Ugh! Both of them are so annoying and I'm living for the Perfect Trio - Nurys, Horacio and Kyland - love them! Unfortunately Nurys is going straight into elimination, I just hope she goes against Olivia and she wins because she's definitely one of the strongest females in the latest seasons.

Lastly, the third (of many) beefs that happened was the one between Paulie and Theo that honestely, I didn't even remember anymore. Still, Paulie keeps being annoying, I just don't have a big attachment to Theo so I'm not that involved in that drama. Personally I would've preferred Josh to be the one going into elimination against Theo (for sure he would've gone home) but with what we saw, I'm pretty sure Paulie will be the one going against Theo. As for the other Eras, Mark is going against Derrick because Derrick volunteered in order to save Darrell from going into elimination which was cute but kind of dumb at the same time, Katie is probably going against Aneesa, which is making Aneesa pretty angry, Ryan probably against Brandon, Nia will most likely go against Amanda (which I'm all for) and that only leaves KellyAnne and Leroy in the limbo. It looks like it will be Cara Maria and Tony but... I'm not too sure. I certainly don't want any of them to go into elimination so we'll see.

So far I would say this Season is living up to the hype. There's still so much to find out about this season - Will they play as a team? Will they keep going against eachother in the same team? How are the eliminations going to work after these initial ones? We still have a lot learn about this season and I'm excited about that so let's go!

Please, tell me your thoughts on this new season so far and who are you rooting for? I know there are a lot of good players so tell me like your TOP 5 or something. And which Era is your favourite? Tell me everything in the comments and I'll talk to you in a few days hopefully with some good news!

Love,
Daniela

The Challenge | Season 39 Episode 19 & 20 & 21 - "Only One Gets The Crown" & "Reunion Part 1" & "Reunion Part 2"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

I know. I'm extremely late with this post but the truth is, I couldn't find the Reunion episodes until last week and then I decided to watch all the episodes and talk about the three all together. Of course I can't really remember the actual final that well, but I'm going to try to cover as much as I can so, let's start with that.

The second part of the final, although really tight, it was also a little lackluster. I'm okay with Emanuel winning (the truth is, he did run this final and he was always ahead of everyone) but the real winner of this season as Nurys. Not only to us viewers but also to the Champs that attended the Reunion - at this point everyone sees Nurys as Champ and there's no denying that! And well, what else can I say about that final... Unlike most people, I actually liked the final. I thought it was fair for everyone and since this would be a one winner season, no female and male winners, having a lot of puzzles and 'equalizers' made this final fair for everyone, so I liked that. I also liked that they had a bit of everything and, most of all, they kept the eating/drinking challenges which are some of my favourites and I feel like they haven't done them as much in the previous seasons. And, besides that, the only thing that I remember is Corey's meltdown because of the rapel, which was so laughable.

As far as the Reunion goes, I actually think this was one of the most enjoyable and exciting Reunions to watch. Most of the time, the Reunion episodes are kind of boring and they don't say anything that interesting but here... Damn! They spilled so much tea! Besides, the whole thing with Nurys really made this Reunion so interesting! Nurys really was f*cked by her bestfriends and although I think Olivia kind of feels bad, I don't think Jay cares at all and both of them (Olivia and Jay) really disappointed me and I honestly don't like them anymore. I thought Olivia was better and Jay, even though I knew he could be a little sneaky, the second part of the Reunion really showed how a scumbag he is. At least Callum owned up to his mistakes and although I felt like those tears were fake, he said he did it, and the same goes for Emanuelle... While Jay just kept on denying it even after Olivia herself admited something happened between them. Seriously, Jay really disappointed me.

But to be honest, most of those on that stage are contestants that I don't like! The only ones that I'm going to keep rooting for are Kyland, Big T, Melissa, Zara and Nurys. Hell, I hope they keep bringing Melissa because she's so iconic and so much fun! And I hope they never invite Asaf again because he's a scumbag as well. A different kind of scumbag but maybe worst than Jay because, just like Darrell said, he's Pathetic and Corny and he's not even good at the game so... Yeah, don't ever invite him again.

Oh, and I completely forgot to mention the Champs! Well, not a lot happened with them but I liked all the takes that Devin had (he's always fun and he's one of those that really grew on me) and even Laurel was funny in this Reunion. And I really want to know what's this beaf between Cara Maria and Tori because something really happened there and they never really talked about it properly so... I just want to know!

And well, I guess that's basically it. I'm sure there were a lot of topics that I did not touch on so if you want to know my take on anything just hit me up on my social media (@danixinhahhh everywhere) and you can ask me my take on that particular topic.

That's for now for Season 39 but the new All Stars season is starting in a month so I'll back for that and Season 40 is going to start filming this week so... A lot of new episodes coming! Until then...

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 39 Episode 18 - "The Beginning Of The End"

Spoiler Alert!

Hey everyone!

This is the second to last episode of the season (excluding the Reunion) and we've started the final! However, this final played slightly in a different way. Following the structure of the season, this final was divided into Control, Chaos and Conquest, and in this first episode we saw the Control part and most of Chaos. And, also following this format, in between sections, we have eliminations and this is where this episode reached it's peak! It happened pretty early in the episode, I must say, but after the Control portion, where they had to all work together to complete this challenge otherwise they would loose more money - which ended up happening - they had to pick someone to go into elimination and, because Corey was the one who basically made them loose the money, they chose Corey. But then, Corey had to pick someone to go against and he picked Jay and, needless to say, things finally worked out and Jay was finally sent home!

I can't believe I'm happy Jay went home. I started this season with Jay being one of the few that I liked and ended with me being so mad at him and just hoping he would go home - which finally happened in this episode. I don't particularly like Corey either (I don't like any of the remaining players beside Nurys) but between them I just wanted Jay to get what he deserved after being awful all season.

Anyway, so Jay went home and after that Chaos started.

In this portion of the final they would be paired and they would have five stations and not only they would have to do the 'challenge' in each station but also run to that station. It was actually pretty thrilling and also impressive! I was really surprised with a few of the contests, more specifically Emanuel, he finished first in all stations apart from the last one, and I also really liked the dynamic between Nurys and Corey in the first station. After that Nurys kept finishing second or third and only the last one she finished first. Nurys really is the only one that I care about but, unfortunately, it's not looking that great for her.

Emanuel ended up having the best time and because of that not only he was the only one safe from the next elimination but he would also pick who's going into elimination. From the preview and because of everything that happened during the season, I'm 90% sure he will pick Nurys and I also predict that Nurys will pick Moriah to go against. The preview for the next episode did give away a lot because we see not only Emanuel but also Corey, Colleen and Berna doing challenges that they didn't do in this episode so either Moriah and Nurys go against each other or one of them goes against a Champ, which would be cool, to be honest. But my money is on Nurys going against Moriah and I don't know if it's just me wishing this would happen but I have faith that Nurys will pull it off. I trully want her to win! But regardless, she's already the queen of this season!

And I guess that's it from me for this episode. All in all, it was a great episode and even though I don't particularly want any of them to win (besides Nurys) it was really thrilling to see them compete and for the first time I have no idea who's going to win the whole thing. It's been looking like Emanuel might be the one but I can't say it for sure because Nurys and Corey are looking really strong as well (also Moriah, to be honest). So, let the best man/woman win (but truly, I hope it's Nurys).

Don't forget to let me know your thoughts and predictions for the Season Finale and I'll talk to you then!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 39 Episode 17 - "Feel the Bern"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Back for another The Challenge episode and... what to say... It was honestly more of the same. Same people being safe, same people going into elimination and same people saying the same lies. This whole season really has been a roller coaster and, in a way, it has been one of the worst seasons, if you think about who's left and how they don't deserve to be in the final, but at the same time it has been a great season because I've been feeling a lot of emotions towards it! It sucks that you don't like (almost) any of the players left, but the truth is, this season has given me so many emotions and so many thoughts and has changed my mind of so many people that it can't be one of the worst ones. Heck, it might be one of the most intense lately, so I have to give props to the season for that. And, even though it was a lot of the same, something did happen that made this episode a lot better - Michele finally went home!

To be honest, I predicted it. In my last post I said that I was almost 100% sure that Michele was the first one to go into the water. The challenge played a little differently but the end result was the same - Michele went home and that is enough for me! And, as if that wasn't enough (fastforwarding a bit) Olivia and James went home as well. James I could take or leave, but Olivia, after what she did last episode, she totally deserved it. Yes, in this episode she was sorry and she apologized and she and Nurys were sort of okay again but still, it was karma and it was even better because Nurys was the one to send her home. If this wasn't karma, I don't know what is.

And well, there's not a lot more to talk about to be honest. Berna won the daily challenge which she did deserve it but her train of thought on who to save... I just don't like it. I get she wanted to save Colleen and Emmanuel but the others... I mean, Jay was sort of with her but she was also at the bottom of his list alongside Colleen so... These people just are really dumb and want to keep not only strong players but also those who aren't that loyal to them around, which just don't make sense. Plus, even though Olivia, Moriah and the other girls didn't really deserve it, the all girls final made sense because they all had better chances to win but... Oh well, I guess that's not going to happen anymore because, even though TJ didn't say it, we got a sneak peak of TJ appearing in the middle of the night and the preview is also about the final so... The next episode will be the beginning of the final and there's only one thing that I want - for Nurys to win the whole thing! Not only she's the only one that deserves it but she's also the one that beat Kyland and Horacio and James and Olivia so she has to win the whole thing! None of the others are worthy of that final and I'm sure a lot of them will either give up or get injured (from the preview it looks like Berna will get injured).

But that's pretty much it from me. It was more of the same but Michele went home and Nurys is still in it to win it so, let's go Nurys! Let me know what you thought of this episode and who are you rooting for in the final? Tell me everything and I'll see you next week - for the final!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 39 Episode 16 - "Family Knows Best"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Back on time because, honestly, I just really had to talk about this episode.

This season of The Challenge is going from bad to worst. I mean, the episode was really thrilling and got a really strong reaction out of me, and that's always the intent, but c'mon! Are we really playing this game?! This whole game has been so unfair and I know everyone feels the same about this season - I would even go as far as saying that even production is shocked at the outcome of all of this. Well, we know that TJ didn't agree at all with the actions and with the outcome of this episode - apart from Nurys, of course. And let's just get straight to the point - Nurys was the 'sole survivor' in this elimination. It's really bittersweet because on one hand it's so unfair to both Kyland and Horacio but at the same time it's amazing how she was able to beat not only two man but also the two top contenders of this season. Just wow! And since we're on that (talking about top contenders) can we talk about Ed?! Like Ed loosing the daily challenge and going home right away was so shocking! And again, he was the only one from the other group that I sort of liked and that I thought was worthy of going to the final so, at this point, only Nurys deserves to go to that final and to win.

I'm so sad at all the events that took place in this episode. Horacio and Kyland going home, Jay winning the daily challenge (that was the worst), Ed going home as well and, actually, the worst was Olivia betraying Nurys like that! Just last episode Nurys saved Olivia over Horacio and Kyland and now Olivia chooses Moriah over Nurys?! In what world is that even plausible?! I mean, we know that it was all a plan made my Michele but it doesn't make sense and I just lost all faith in Olivia. I don't trust her at all and I hope karma bites her in the ass and she's the next one to go home. However, from the preview for next week, it looks like Michele might be the one to go in the daily challenge?! I don't know, but it was what it looked like to me and, honestly, I really hope that ends up happening because without Michele, Jay isn't anyones number one and I just want them both (along with Olivia) to go home.

None of the people that are left in the game are worth of going to the final, only Nurys really, so I hope that she wins and, well, if I have to pick someone, maybe Colleen, Berna, Emmanuel and James are the ones to go into the final with her. Not that they deserve it to be honest, all of them have done questionable things (apart from Emmanuel, I would say) but they are the less of two evils so... I'll go with them. I just want Michele, Jay, Olivia and Moriah to go home - they are manipulative, fake friends and, most of all, not worthy contenders of the final.

Ugh, I'm so pissed at this season! Every good contestant has gone home and I just want all of them to fail and not finish the final because, let's be honest, a lot of them will go to the final and I don't think they should so... I just hope they can't finish it. Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this episode (and the season as a whole) and who are you rooting for at this point? Who do you want to see in the final? Tell me everything and I'll see you next week with an episode that I hope changes the course of the game!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 39 Episode 15 - "Welcome to Conquest"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Finally back on time to talk about the latest The Challenge episode and Oh My God, what an episode! Unfortunately, not in a bad way...

This episode was a whole rollercoaster. This was the beginning of the Conquest and it looks like Conquest will be the most interesting part of this season, unlike what we all thought (cause we were all expecting a lot more from the Champs, let's be honest). And Conquest started right with a bang - night challenge, idividual challenges from now on and also from now on the last place will go home automatically, which is something huge! We knew something like that was going to happen because, let's be honest, there are only a few episodes left and there are too many contests and they can't all go to the final so... I guess we should have seen that coming.

Then the actual challenge was really exciting - the first two rounds had Horacio and Kyland in the lead and then Ed 'won' the third round which, ultimately, got him the win because he was the one that did it in less time. It wasn't the best but it could have been worst. Then, the last two places were Moriah and Ravyn and Ravyn ended up being the one to go home. I could take or leave it with either of them and I personally didn't like Ravyn but she was a number for my favourite alliance and, to be honest, Moriah is starting to piss me off. Not only she's up Jay and Michele's ass but also she's not a great competitor. I thought she was better in her first season but now... There are so much better female contests and that's visible in this challenge - because she was almost last. But, that wasn't the worst part about this episode, the worst came next.

TJ revealed that the votes now will happen in a different way. Ed is the only one safe and he will pick someone to be safe as well, then that person he picks will pick another one and so on until there's only three left and those three will go into a secret elimination - oh, and it doesn't matter if it's girl or boy - in the end there will only be one winner and that goes for guys and girls. That twist did spicy things up and ultimately makes the game even more rigged. For example, in this episode Ed stayed true to Jay's alliance (which is just dumb of him, by the way) and followed Jay's plan to leave Nury's for last and make her choose between saving Olivia or Horacio - and that's exactly what happened. Nury's was the last one to pick and she picked Olivia - not only because she's her friend from outside the game but also Horacio told her to pick one of the girls, obviously she went with Olivia. And, in the end, my favourite three went into elimination - Horacio, Kyland and Zara.

I really had no idea who I wanted to stay because I wanted three of them to stay but I knew I wanted Zara to stay because she's my favourite and she's a girl. Well, she was the one to go home but not withour a fight! She made a bad choice in the order to go into the puzzles but she took it like a champ and she kept going and never gave up. And even TJ said so! To the point that, at the end, he kept praising her and he was also really obvious that he likes Horacio and Kyland and want them both in the final, so let's hope they win the next challenges because we know what's going to happen if they don't.

Lastly I only have two things to say - first James is a b*tch like Zara said and second I don't trust Colleen anymore - she could have changed the game right now and she kept going with the same alliance. I just hope all of them go home and the last six (I supposed there will be six people in the final) are Kyland, Horacio, Olivia, Nurys, Ed and Berna. I don't necessarily like Berna but from all of them she's the one that stayed more true to herself and played with integrity, and as far as Ed goes, he's just dumb for trusting Jay because he's at the bottom of the list and I think eventually he will figure that out. Regardless he's the strongest man after Horacio and Kyland so he's the only one that truly deserves to be at the final (besides Horacio and Kyland, obviously). But I guess that's it from me.

There's a lot to talk about in regards to this episode so tell me everything! What are your thouhgts on Conquest so far? What's your favourite part of them game (Control, Chaos or Conquest)? And what did you think of who went home? Personally I'm devastated that Zara went home and so angry at basically everyone at the house! I can't believe I used to like Jay because now I dispise him... I can't wait for him and Michele to go home.

Anyway... Tell me your thoughts I'll talk to you next week!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 39 Episode 13 & 14 - "El Saboteur" & "Don't Let TJ Decide"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Yet again another week with two episodes in one post... I'm so sorry about that. It really wasn't my intention but again, time got out of hand and it happened... The good thing is that we have two really exciting episodes to talk about and I'm so stoked!

Neither of the episodes work exactly according to plan but it ended in the best way it could have (considering the situation) and I'm so happy about it.

So, overall, episode 13 was almost the turning point in the season. The daily challenge was somewhat "challenging", there was a ton of drama (healthy drama) and I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. The outcome of the daily challenge wasn't the desired one because the worst Team that could win ended up winning and choosing to send Horacio into elimination, but that started a whole debate on making big moves and sending someone different into elimination (possible elimination) alongside Horacio.

There's a clear division in the house right now and I was so hoping the "underdogs" would finally do something about their situation but... That ended up not happening...

They had the numbers but both Nurys and Colleen were really torn on doing something (aka throwing in Jay) and, at last minute, because she's friends with both Kyland and Jay, Nurys decided to basically burn her vote and therefore, because she did that, Colleen decided to not show all her cards just yet and voted in Kyland, just like "everyone else". I get why they did what they did. Who I don't get why he voted Kyland was James - I mean, he's with Moriah, but he could have gone with Emanuel then?! They would all throw you in in a heartbeat so... Luckily, karma did bite them in the ass in the next episode, which I liked.

Anyway so, both Kyland and Horacio went into possible elimination against Brad which, to be honest, made me relax a little bit because Brad is not the hardest champ to beat. I kind of wanted Horacio to go against Brad because I thought he had a better chance to beat Brad instead of Kyland (obviously I would rather Brad pick chaos though) but Brad picked Kyland. Still, when the elimination started I was shocked! Kyland started moving at a really fast speed and I got my hopes up. And, in the end, Kyland won and I was so happy! This was a good old Challenge elimination! And now Kyland won against both Darrell and Brad. Kyland really snuck on us, didn't he?!

And everything kept going in episode 14...

This episode was the mini-final episode and that's always exciting! We have a glympse at who's actually a threat and it really is Horacio and Zara because their team was always the first up until the last checkpoint where it all came down to math and I guess Horacio's weakness really is Math. And, because of that, every single team got ahead of them and, in the end, it really got down to either Jay's team or Kyland's team and, needless to say who I was rooting for, right?! And the last minutes of that challenge were really nervewrecking because Jay asked for a check and luckily they had it wrong and there it came Kyland's Team and got the win! However, you would thought they would save Horacio... Well, no... It's unfortunate but I understand why Kyland gave up - that meant that with Horacio already going in and with Kyland and James safe, the alliance had to turn on themselves and that would create more drama - and that's exactly what happened!

Somehow they all gave up on putting Jay up for elimination so the choice was between Ed and Emanuel - Jay and his alliance decided that Ed was the biggest wildcard and Kyland decided that Emanuel was Jay's right hand (after Asaf) and decided to go for him and that left them with a stalemate. That was really exciting! They tried a second time to come to an agreement and Ed didn't give up. Corey changed his vote but Ed decided to change it as well so it would still end up on a stalemate. And that's a dangerous game to play - you don't know what TJ would do - but I knew what was coming next! CT!

Obviously it came down to CT to choose who to go against and the first thing that he did was save Horacio so that's already a win! Then he looked at everyone and he mentioned Jay but he said he would spare him which was a bit unfortunate however what he did next was almost as good as picking Jay - he picked Asaf! And we know Asaf is a brother to Jay, to the point that Nurys tried to congratulate Jay for being save and he pushed her away because Asaf was not safe and he was pissed at her. Seriously, I used to like Jay but he's just the worst in this season...

Anyway, then came the elimination and I wished it was more of a physical one but it was Math again and that's one of CT's strenghts and he got the win! Yes, so excited that he sent home Asaf and that he shook things up in the game!

Conquest begins in the next episode and I'm so excited! Something tells me that more than one people will go home and that will happen in every single episode from now on and I can't wait for things to change because I'm so tired of the same people going into elimination and I'm tired of all my favourite players going home.

Okay, that's it from me. I'm sorry once again for the lack of posts and for joining two episodes in one post. I hope you still like my rants and of course I wanna hear from you - What you thought of Kyland and Brad's elimination? What about CT and Asaf's? Tell me everything and I'll talk to you, hopefully, next week!

Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge | Season 39 Episodes 11 & 12 - "My Own Worst Frenemy" & "A Legend Returns"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

It's not the best way to start the year because, once again, I'm joining two episodes in one post but I feel like you can understand - it's a time where a lot happens and it's hard to get to everything. On top of that, I actually think joining these two episodes work really well because they have something connecting them - actually, more than one thing. Both episodes focus a lot on Michelle, both episodes have a female elimination and both episodes have the champs loosing... So disappointing.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I really need to talk about the things that bothered me about these last two episodes. Overall, they were pretty weak episodes and the only thing that I liked about them was the winning team in this last episodes (episode 12). Apart from that, a lot of annoying things happened.

First of all, people kept nominating the same girls and that's so annoying! I'm so sick of people being afraid of nominating Michelle and, fast forward, thank god Cara Maria picked Chaos and chose Michele to go against her. The downfall was that Michele won and that's going to make her even more full of herself. Also, I was really annoyed that not only Cara Maria lost against Michele in this episode but Laurel lost against Ravyn in the last episode like, what the hell has happened to these Champs?! I know the eliminations weren't the best - they have been pretty lame this season - but c'mon! I expected more from Laurel and I expected even more from Cara Maria. Not that I liked them but I really wanted a change in the game and I'm so sick of the same people rulling this season... It's actually so annoying!

But, there were a few things that I liked about these episodes, such as the challenge in the last episode (episode 11) where they had an eating challenge, and I love those! Not only that but it also involved a bit of Trivia which was the perfect pairing! And, as I said, I liked the winning team of this episode, which were Horacio, Zara, Berna and Ed.

There's not a lot more for me to say, to be honest. I've talked about how tired I am of who's controlling the game and I can't even imagine how Michele will act in the next episode but it looks like things are about to turn. Colleen, Zara, Horacio, Kyland, Ravyn and few others are creating their own alliance and I'm sure things will change in the upcoming episodes. I also think, from the preview, that Corey will be on the winning team for the next challenge and we already know that there's only two guys left - Brad and CT - and we all know that CT will be the last Champ to come this season so on the next episode we'll have Brad and I predict it will be, finally, a physical elimination! Also, I have a wild theory - I predict that in the last episode of Chaos, which is obviously the one with CT, he's going against Jay - either Jay is nominated or CT gets the Chaos and he picks him but CT will face Jay in another elimination and it will be the same elimination they did seasons ago - the knots one. I have a feeling that's going to happen... We'll see. But I guess that's it from me.

I'm sorry for the short rant but there's not much to talk about - I'm mad about the outcome of both episodes and really disappointed in both Champs. Let me know what you thought of both eliminations and who do you think will face CT? Tell me everything and I'll see you next week with another rant!

Love,
Daniela.
