The Challenge: Champs vs Stars | Season 3 Episode 10 - "Bank Rolling in the Deep"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So, here it is, the Season 3 finale of Champs vs Stars.
Before I get into detail about the episode I want to point out that I'm really happy and surprised with this season. Usually this 'spin-off' isn't like great (as you can normally see by the types of challenges they play) but this season was actually pretty interesting and had real competition. I don't want to give props to Louise and Casper because I still don't like them but I have to say that they are probably the reason why this season was so interesting. The truth is they gave a bit of a challenge to the Champs and, in the end, they made the season more challenging.
With this said, I should just jump right into the episode and start off by saying that yes, Casper and Louise won the elimination which was really a bummer. Luckily, they didn't spend much time on that and moved on pretty quickly to the final challenge.
As usual, the final challenge had a lot of running and a lot of endurance - a typical challenge final. I was happy to see that because, like I said previously, they tend to make this challenges easier so I'm happy they didn't do that this time.
In the very beginning of the challenge, Th Miz told Tony about his Power Play - Sabotage - which was basically to add time to one of the times. Obviously he chose Casper and Louise. In the beginning, everything was working out fine but things got pretty messed up. Halfway through the challenge, Wes and Bobby got the lead and then, after that, Casper and Louise got the lead. Well, until the eating challenge. It wouldn't be a challenge final without an eating challenge and that was when Tony and CT smashed it. They were the last ones to arrive and they were the second ones to finish the challenge right after Wes and Bobby. Then, they got a bit of a step back but they made up for it in the very last part of the finale, which was a puzzle. Tony let CT take the charge in that and the finished pretty quickly and... They Won!
I'm still a bit off when it comes to Tony because of everything that happened with Bananas but I have to say, he earned this win and I'm happy he and CT won instead of any of the other teams.
Needless to say that Casper was really pissed.
And well, I guess I'm going to end this here.
Like I said, this was the last episode of Season 3 so, for a while, there won't be any posts on the blog.
Next season of The Challenge only airs July 10 so that's about 3 weeks with no posts.
I still have an announcement to make and that will be up some time during those 3 weeks so, keep an eye on that.
Okay guys, I'll see you in 3 weeks time.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Champs vs Stars | Season 3 Episode 9 - "Crossed Words and Mixed Signals"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
Here we are with the (now) usual The Challenge rant!
Truth is, this season is almost over - this is actually the second to last episode. The good thing is that Season 32 of the 'normal' The Challenge will premiere in the beginning of July so we won't have to wait that long for it. Anyway, this was a pretty good episode actually so let's jump right into it.
The episode actual began the next day after everything that happened in the last one. We see a bit of talking between all the teams, mostly Kailah and Drake and we know, since we've been watching The Challenge for a while, that this is foreshadowing the events that are going to take place in the end of the episode - this can either be good or bad, it is always foreshadowing something.
After that, they move on to this week's challenge which is kind of an intellectual game, which is nice.
I was pretty happy with the result of it because CT and Tony won and that meant that they were going straight to the finale.
A big part of the episode, after the challenge, was politics - Wes trying to be safe from elimination as well as Kailah trying the exact same thing, since both of them were friend with either CT or Tony. Afraid of what might happen, Wes actually comes up with the plan to send Kailah and Drake to elimination, making a deal with Casper to do the exact same and so in the actual eliminations they do that, leaving no room to CT and Tony to have to choose between Wes and Kailah.
Kailah and Drake go straight into elimination and of course, Tony chose Casper and Louise to go into elimination, since Tony was the MVP - also winning a vacation for two people, to which he said he would propose to his girlfriend, which was actually pretty cute.
Then, it was elimination time. This was actually a pretty good elimination because it was challenging and not just one of those lame games. They basically had to jump 1000 times to push a button then a block of ice with frozen clothes inside would fall to the ground and they had to smash it, get the clothes out, unfold them (which turned out to be really difficult because they were frozen), put them on and then jump 1000 times more.
Of course we didn't see the end of the elimination. For now, Casper and Louise looked like they were winning but Kailah and Drake were doing better at unfolding the clothes so... You never know. It can be anyone winning this and, to be honest, I want Kailah and Drake to win. I don't like Kailah at all but I don't like Louise and Casper either and I've said since the beginning that the reason why I was watching this season was because of Drake so... I would love to see him go into the final.
Well, we'll find out next episode who's going to the final. Until then, let me know your thoughts and predictions.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Champs vs Stars | Season 3 Episode 8 - "When Loyalty Is Spot On"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
It's been a while without a new post. Actually, I've been planning on posting something because I have an update to do about the blog but I haven't got the time. It will come in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye for that.
Today we are here to talk about the brand new The Challenge which, like I said in my previous post, is the only series still airing new episodes.
This was quite an interesting episode, even though it made me hate Casper and Louise even more.
So, the last episode ended with finding out who was going to elimination against Casper and Louise. Well, as you can see by the banner, it was Selita and Joze. Turns out Bobby made it a tie after voting for Selita and Joze and then the tie breaker, once again, was the last person to win an elimination which, in this case was Kailah. Obviously Kailah chose Selita and Jozea to go into elimination.
The actual elimination was a bit of a joke, with those silly games. Luckily, it had some physical part of it and that's where Casper and Louise were better. I mean, Selita and Joze were actually pretty good and they almost won but they didn't and so Casper and Louise stayed in the game once again.
They didn't focus much on drama after that, which was nice and they moved pretty quickly to the week's challenge, which was a different type of the twister game. It looked pretty fun actually and one that I think I might have been good at, actually. I mean, in the end, they said that it was pretty difficult and a lot of them just quit but it was all about endurance and I'm kind of good at that so... I don't know, it looked fun. This challenge was a pretty diffent one, not only because of that, but because the last three times would be on the chopping block, without knowing what that meant.
I don't really know what to explain everything that went on during the challenge because a lot happened so, the important things were that Kailah/Drake, Tori/Lil Mama and Shane/Brooke were the last three times and Casper and Louise were the winning time, which really sucked!
That meant that they had to choose the MVP, this time right there and then, Louise ending up picking Casper because he was the one that made them win and so Casper got the power play right away - to eliminate two of the three last times. I guess they did this to just speed things up and end the season but it sucked really because, as you can imagine, Shane and Brooke were the ones to go home right away and then Casper chose Lil Mama and Tori to go home as well. He said that it was because Drake has been on the Blue Team since they one and always had the Stars back but truly, I think it was because Tori and Lil Mama were a stronger team so...
Initially I was actually surprised because I thought he was going to send Drake and Kailah home because of Kailah but I guess I was wrong.
Well, the episode basically ended like that and it set the tone for the next episodes.
One more thing - there was this whole thing that Casper and Louise cheated in the challenge and they actually did. Louise was eliminated right away but, as you might have noticed, Casper wasn't and he also cheated so... I don't know howthis is going to play out in the future but I hope they do something about it.
So, in terms of predictions, from the preview, I think Kailah and Drake are going to win the next challenge and they are going to have an hard time choosing the team to send into elimination.
Well, right now, I really hope CT and Tony win and Casper and Louise go home. That's all I want.
Anyway, let me know all your thoughts and predictions and I guess I'll see you next week with a new rant!
Love,
Daniela.
