American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 4 - "11/9"

Spoiler Alert!

Oh My God, this episode!
I swear, this episode was the best one so far and truly everything that I felt was needed in this season!
I don't know if it was because I've been watching some theory videos or if the episode really was 'informational', but I think this episode gave us a lot of answers. I don't feel confused anymore and I actually have quite a few theories so, read everything until the very end.
So, basically this episode covered up the days before the election, so this was basically and episode zero, if you will.
We start of with seeing everyone in line to go vote and we see Kai entering with a guy dripping blood. Then, we get far back and see a few days before.
This made a lot more sense to me because I recently saw a video with a teory on who the clowns are so I straight up understood where this was going.
We basically see how Kai met both Harrison and Meadow and how he got them to be part of his Cult. From this, we learn that they were the two first 'recruits'. After that, we see Kai finding out about Beverly Hope, the reporter and he finds out that people have been mocking her and she kind of went crazy and that's how he took some interest in her. And, in order to make her 'believe in him', him, Harrison and Meadow kill the other reporter, played by Emma Roberts (I'm sorry but I just can't remember her name). In that 'event' we see three clowns - Harrison, Meadow and Kai.
This actually makes Beverly 'join' Kai so we find out that she's probably another clown.
Moving on, the episode then focus more on Winter.
We find out that Winter and Ivy have actually met before Winter applied to be Oz's babysitter, and that was a huge surprise for me, actually. They meet in the rally and a guy, from Trump's group, actually assaults Ivy and Winter defends her and that's how the two 'meet'.
They later go after that same guy, who's actually the owner of the store that we saw in the first episode, and tie him up so he won't be able to go vote for Trump in the next day. The only issue is that Kai finds out about him and that's when happens what he see right in the beginning of this episode. And the episode basically ends like that.
This left me with a lot of knowlodge, but also with a lot of questions, which is actually amazing to develop some theories so, let's dive into that.
In the videos that I've been watching, people say that the clowns are Harrison, Meadow, the doctor, Colton Hayne's character and Emma Robert's character. Well, we already know that Emma Robert's isn't a clown (cause she's dead) but, instead, we know that Beverly is, as well as Harrison and Meadow. In terms of the other two, I have some issues. I believe Colton Hayne's character is, in fact, one of the clowns, but I have some doubts about the doctor. We see that Kai was the three/four faces clown, but he may not be in 'the future'. Still, I don't think the doctor is one of the clowns so... I don't know, I'm a little bit confused about that.
Also, I don't know if the store guy is also a clown, but he's for sure on Kai's side and we now know that everything Ally saw in that store, in the first episode, wasn't an allucination - that guy was probably covering up for Kai so, yeah...
Then, about Ivy...
The video that I saw had a theory that Ivy is, in fact, Kai and Winter's older sister, which was such a plot twist for me. However, this episode made me doubt that theory.
When Winter and Ivy were talking in the restaurant, they didn't really say that they knew each other, but they didn't really say the opposite either, so I don't know what to think about. My only thought/theory about Ivy being their sister is probably that she left them like ages ago but, somehow, Winter found her (since she's pretty good with computers and going into the dark web and all that) and was trying to 'connect' with her.
And finally, comes the question in why are they after Ally?! Well, in my opinion, Kai wants her to join him. I don't know why, but somehow he might have seen in her something that he 'likes' and he's trying to get her to join his cult, that's the only thing that makes sense to me, mostly because of the events in the past episode, in which he kind of helped her.
I don't know, this are just some of my thoughts.
Let me know what you think about this crazy theories and let me know yours, I would love to hear/read them.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 11 - "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new The Challenge rant!
Is it just me, or it feels like a long time since we've seen an actual challenge?!
I don't know, I feel like in the past episodes we got caught on so much drama, with the thing between Tony and Camila, and the thing with Tony and his girlfriend and what happened with Camila and Leroy... I don't know, I just feel like lately the show have been focusing a lot on the drama that it was pretty good to finally have an actual challenge and have it focused on it instead.
I mean, sure we had a lot of drama in this episode like, a lot, but it was nice to have a proper challenge. I also thought we were going to have a 'normal' episode but I guess that was too good.
Anyway, the episode started out with a rather awkward conversation from the girls, which I didn't really understand why they focused on that. Maybe it was because of Jenna because that's the only thing that ties with the rest of the episode but yeah...
Like I've mentioned before, I pay a lot of attention to the people they focus on in the beginning of the episode, before the actual challenge, because that means that either they win the challenge (or do really good in it) or they loose and are probably going into elimination.
This time they focused, like I said, on Jenna, but also on Derrick, Hunter and Dario and, well, I didn't really want to brag but all of them were relevant in the challenge.
The challenge in this episode was pretty good! We had four teams of four, which meant a guy and a girl were out of the challenge and into the draw, and here's when Dario is relevant - he's the one not picked by anyone and going straight into the draw.
Moving on, we have the teams, which first we have Hunter and Aneesa as captains for two teams. They both choose other two captains for the other two teams - Britini and Nelson. The teams then went out like this: Pink Team (my team) - Aneesa, Derrick, Jenna and Bananas; Light Blue Team - Leeroy, Nelson, Cara Maria and Jemmye; Dark Blue Team - Camila, CT, Hunter and Kailah; Green Team - Britini, Jordan, Tori and Tony.
And here's when Hunter is relevant. His team actually wins the challenge, which I kind of didn't mind because it has Camila, but I need to mention that I'm really proud of Jenna (and Derrick too, but mostly Jenna) because she was the only girl to get through the challenge and she's so underrated! People have started to be more aware of her, but still, most people think that it's just looks but she's actually pretty good in challenges and she's not that dumb so, I'm really proud of her and I hope she gets into the final.
Then, after the challenge, as usual, that's when things go downhill.
Everyone go out and that's when they get drunk and when they start arguing. First it's between Hunter and Kailah (which is just dumb) but then the real thing happens between Derrick and Nelson (which is also pretty dumb but well). And this was pretty damn serious because Nelson actually punched Derrick in the face and well, we've kind of already seen this in the preview last week and I, right away, said to my sister that he was going to be disqualified and... That was exactly what happened! And that was how the episode ended.
Now, we don't know who CT, Hunter, Camila and Kailah are going to pick for elimination because, although Hunter is going to vote for Jordan, CT was planning on voting for Nelson and now that he's gone... Well, let's see who they are voting for.
And that's pretty much it for today's The Challenge rant. The only other thing that I'm going to say is that my gut still tells me that Jordan and Camila are going to win. I don't know, but that's just my feeling.
Let me know what you guys thought about the episode and your predictions for future episodes and I'll see you later with a new American Horror Story rant.
Love,
Daniela.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 3 - "Neighbors from Hell"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello!
So, as promised, here we are with the thrid rant of American Horror Story's new season.
I must say that this seaso is starting to get better and better and I trully believe this can match up with Asylum (which is my favourite AHS season so far) in the future.
From what we have been seeing, this is getting creepier and still I feel so confused about the whole thing.
Yes, there's the murderers thing, which I believe (and I think we all believe) are coming from Kai or, at least, he's the one in charge, but apart from that, I'm really confused and I don't know where this is suppose to go. Nonetheless, I think this season is turning out to be great and it is still creepy and scary, and that's what I like the most about American Horror Story.
In this episode we (or I must say Ally) face the consequences of killing Pedro.
We are led to believe that she is in no 'danger', in terms of getting arrested or anything, because the cop (played by Colton Haynes) says that it was self defence and all that so she won't go to prison or anything, but later we see that he has been hanging out with the creepy neighbors so, I don't know about that. Besides, she might not go to prison, but she has to deal with a protest outside of her restaurant. That's when Kai appears and says that he will dissuade them and then leaves.
That was the creepiest thing about the whole episode. Not the murderers, but the way Kai said that he was going to handle things and then 'Have a nice day". Please, tell me I wasn't the only one creeped out by that sentence. Not that it is a bad thing! It isn't! It is a good thing actually! I love when Evan Peters play creepy characters like this one and I'm really starting to believe that this might actually be the best Evan Peters' character!
Anyway, after that we see the neighbors threat Ally and then they give Oz a guinea pig, to which, at first, Ally doesn't want him to keep it but then, after a family dinner/night (which I thought was pretty cute) she lets him keep it. That's whem they arrive home and find the guinea pig in the microwave and yeah, that was a gross scene (which I still loves, to be honest).
While all of this is happening, a truck also have been dispersing a mysterious green gas throughout the neighborhood the last couple of days, and that's when we are introduced to the toxic element that we see in the credits. This still confuses me like a lot, but hopefully we will get some answers in the next few episodes.
Something else really interesting also happens in this episode. We see The Wiltons individually talking to Kai about their fears and everything.
All of this things don't seem that connected to me. I mean, I think Kai is behind everything but I just don't see how everything is connected or why he's 'doing' all of this things so, also something I hope to find out about in the future.
In the end, Meadow disappears and Harrison blames Ally and that's how the episode ends.
To me, there's still too many questions unanswered but we are still in episode three so, I understand that. At the same time, that is a good thing, because this keeps me guessing and wondering and wanting to see more.
I still don't 'crave' the episodes but I'm still pretty curious about what's going to happen next.
Leave all your thoughts in the comments and I'll see you next week with new rants!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 10 - "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone, and welcome to a brand new The Challenge rant.
Wow, where should I start?
This episode had a lot to talk about. Not necessariy about actual challenges, but just the episode in general. We had a lot of drama (tiny ones, but a bunch of them) in this week's episode and plus we had another Redemption House Challenge, like it was shown on the preview last week.
So, I guess I should start with the whole Tony/Camila drama, again.
I thought this was already behind but I guess with all the Camila/Leroy drama, they had to move this other drama to this week (and possibly next week, since we didn't really have a conclusion).
Well, talking about Tony, we also had another minor 'drama' between him and Bananas, but it was just really silly and it ended in minutes.
Moving on, I guess we should focus on the Redemption House now, since the episode was mainly focused on it.
We basically already knew that they were going to have another challenge to see who was going to get back into the main house but, before, like the previous time, TJ went to the house so they would talk about the people they were going for if they get back to the 'actual' gam and basically all the girls were going to either Camila or Cara Maria and Hunter was going for Jordan (obviously) and Cory for Bananas (also obviously). And I have a serious prediction about who's going to the final and who's going to win, which is basically all the people they mentioned.
First, I've heard some rumors that Camila is actually going to win this season of the challenge, but that's for the girls. As for the guys, I haven't heard anything, but from the looks of it, I predict that Jordan is going to win! You've heard it here first, folks! This isn't 100% true or anything like it, but it's just my gut telling me. Since the whole thing with Jemmye that Jordan have been talked a lot, and the fact that he said in an after show that he's not going to compete anymore makes me believe that he's actually going to win. And I'm surprisingly ok with that. Of course I would love if Bananas would be to win again (I still think he's going to the final though) but I've been liking Jordan a lot more than I used to be and I actually believe he deserves to win. He had never won so I believe this is his time.
Anyway, not getting into the actual Redemption House Challenge. It was so gross!
I don't care what anyone would say but I would totally be like Marie, so I can't even blame her for basically not doing it. Well, at least she tried?! I don't even think I would try so... (I know I would suck at the challenge anyway).
Well, what matters is that Hunter got to win in the end and, as for the girls, Aneesa won, which I really didn't like. All the girls that were in the Redemption House were annoying af so I wouldn't want any of them back but Aneesa is just not only annoying but she can actually beat some of the girls in the house so I really didn't want her back.
And yeah, that was pretty much it for this week's episode.
We then see in the preview for next week that there's going to be a fight between Derrick and Nelson and that Hunter is crying saying that he wants to go home so, i don't know what's going to happen, but it looks exciting to me.
Ok, that's it! Let me know all your thoughts on the episode, what do you think about my predictions for the finale and I'll see you later with a new American Horror Story rant!
Love,
Daniela.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 2 - "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
So, here we are with a new AHS rant!
Once again, I need to point out that the season hasn't reached it's climax (I mean, it's only episode 2) but I think this is getting built up really well.
Not much happened in this episode really. Most of it we had already seen in previous and what we haven't seen was basically exploring Ally's phobias and fears and, like I said, builting it up.
I believe next episode is going to be a lot more interesting, but I'm enjoying it so far.
To me, this season is like a morden version of Asylum, without supernatural stuff and just really bloody and creepy.
Also, it's pretty clear all the aspects about what the United States are going through right now. I think Ryan Murphy had a brilliant idea on how to put all those things about racism and discrimination out there without being like really 'clear' with it. The show is still about horror and creepy stuff but is also sharing awareness about all the things that have been worrying the americans (and not only americans, all the world but because of Trump and everything, mainly the americans).
I'm really liking what he's doing so I can't wait for me.
True that what I really want is Horror and Blood and all that stuff, and that's the reason why he have Kai's character, I believe, which let me down a little bit in this episode. I feel like we didn't have enough Kai in this episode and that kind of makes me sad.
On the other hand, we had some pretty brilliant performances from Billie Lourd aka Winter.
I wasn't a big fan of Billie's character on Scream Queens but I think Winter is pretty cool and sometimes even creepier and scarier than Kai so, that's a thumbs up.
Then, we have Ally, which is a little bit annoying and I think one of the worse Sarah Paulson's characters. I'm sorry, but that's just my opinion. Sarah is an amazing actress, but I just don't think this is he best character.
And well, I don't really know what else to had to my rant.
Like I said, this episode didn't show us much. It introduced us to two knew characters though, two pretty peculiar characters so, I'm also interested in seeing what's really up with them.
Ok, I believe that's pretty much it.
I'm sorry if this rant was a little bit 'crappy' but I really don't know what else to say.
Let me know all your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you next week with new rants!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 9 - "Rampage"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys and welcome back to a new The Challenge rant!
Wow, where should I start?
This episode had a lot to deal with and a lot for us to talk about. Not necessarily about the game but about the drama that happened right in the beginning of the episode.
We all know what happened in the end of last weeks episode, between Tony and Camila and my thought was that a lot more stuff was going to happen between those two in this episode. Well, I was wrong. Everything that happen was mainly with Camila and a little bit with Leroy. I mean, Camila messed up with Leroy, althought he didn't really react, which I think was a really good thing from and I'm really impressed because, like CT said, not a lot of people would stay calm like he did and this showed a lot of (good) character from him, unlike Camila.
This really pains me to say because you know that Camila is my girl and I really like her so, you know, I'm going to defend her no matter what but yeah, what she did wasn't cool and I'm actually surprised that they didn't send her home. I'm glad they didn't thought, but still surprised.
Also, I think people take too seriously what others say when they're drunk, mostly in this game and I get that they are all under a lot of stress and everything but seriously, you shouldn't take a drunk person seriously because most of the time they don't realise what they're saying and they don't even remember it, like it happened with Camila.
Still, what she said wasn't cool and wasn't right, but I seriously believe that she didn't meant it and that she's sorry, even thought she didn't actually say it.
Anyway, most of the episode was focused on that but we still had nominations and elimination.
It was only Tony and Camila to nominate so both nominated Nicole and Nelson, which was cool for me.
Then, when it came to the double cross, my faves got it, Jordan and Jena, which meant they were going to make the right choice and send it someone that most people (including me) don't like - Hunter and Britini.
The challenge was somewhat similar to that one, year ago, between CT and Bananas and, for the girls round, it was pretty easy, Britini won which, out of the two, she was the one that I prefered, so I liked it.
For the guys it was a whole another story. It looked like really painful and it must have lasted like hours but, in the end, Nelson won, which I didn't really like but still, either one of them was going to the Redemption House and was probably come back anyway so, either it's 'cool'.
And then, I need to talk about my favourite part, which was when CT said that he believed there was still a Redemption House and Oh My God, how did he know?! I swear, that was so funny for me.
Anyway, that was pretty much it for this week's The Challenge rant.
Next I'll post American Horror Story episode 2 rant so, stay tuned for that!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 8 - "Dirty Little Secret"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
So, like I promised, here I am with a new The Challenge rant!
I got to say that this was a different episode for me. Althought it didn't have much challenges or anything, I really enjoyed it! I think it was mainly because it was Trivia Episode! That's right, it was the trivia episode and I love those episodes, so that might be the main reason why I really liked this episode, but I also liked the drama and everything in it. There wasn't major drama, just by the end of the episode, but let's start with the beginning, shall we?
Last episode we didn't know who won the guys round of the elimination, so we started right of with that, and guess what? I was right. Hunter ended up winning, but it was pretty close! I even thought Cory won, but then we saw the images again and it was clear that Hunter won, which was nice, but we all knew that he was going to the Redemption House so...
Talking about the Redemption House... We saw a lot of it in this episode. I don't know if it is because we are getting closer to another Purge or not but, from the preview, it seemed like it.
While in the Redemption House, we first see Marie really bored of being alone but after Cory and Aneesa arrive, we see a lot of flirtation between those two (Cory and Aneesa). Thank god Cory was able to keep it together, unlike Tony, which I'll get into it in a minute.
Anyway, let's move on to the challenge.
Like I said, Trivia Challenge, so it was going to be fun!
This time there was a lot of rules to it, so let's see if I can tell you everything.
They were going to be above water (as usual), it was two rounds, a girls round and then a guys round and, not only they had to get the answer right but, if they did, they would give a cross to someone else. After three crosses, they were out. The first eight (four girls and four guys) to fall would go to the double cross and there was only going to be two winners, one guy and one girl.
Okay, that was pretty much it.
They focused a lot more on the girls, I don't know why because usually the boys are dumber but yeah. Right in the beginning Camila was panicking so that was a sign, to me, right away that she was probably going to win and guess what?! She won, which I was super happy about because not only she's my girl but also because Nicola has been saying a lot of sh*t about her so I'm glad she won and I just hope she send Nicole into elimination.
For the guys, I suspected Tony was going to win, because of last week's preview and... Yeah, he did win, and that's when basically everything goes downhill.
As usual, after a challenge, and before the nominations, everyone goes out for drinks and that's when they mess up and game changes a lot. It was Cara Maria's birthday and obviously they all drank, including Tony and we all know how Tony is when he drinks.
On the way back to the house, Tony and Camila are in the very back of the bus and... yeah, they start making out and everything.
In the beginning, Camila starts talking about that they shouldn't and everything but, after they arrive, they don't leave the bus and we see them making out. And that's when the episode ends so, we don't know where this is going to end up.
Before I finish and move to what we see in the preview, I just need to mention and Bananas said about people in the back thinking that they're invisible, I mean... That was just so funny! I had to mention that.
Okay, onto predictions.
From what we see in the preview, Camilanator is going to make an apearance, there's going to be drama involving Bananas, which has been a while, looks like Kailah and Jenna are going to fight and it looks like not only there's going to be another Purge soon but also the challenges are going to get crazier and crazier so, I'm excited for the rest of the season!
In terms of who's Camila and Tony are going to pick... I don't know... I pay a lot of attention in the beginning of episodes to have some clues of who is going for elimination and this time the people mentioned the most where Britini (who is already on the double cross), Tony (who won), Tori (who is also in the double cross), Cara Maria and Dario (who is also on the double cross) so... My bet is that, because of what happened with Tony, Camila is going to pick Cara Maria and she's probably going against Britini. As for the guys my bet is that Dario is going in, as for who Tony is going to pick, I have no idea...
Anyway, let me know what do you think is going to happen and I'll see you next week!
Love,
Daniela.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 1 - "Election Night"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone! Here we are with a brand new American Horror Story season, which promises a lot.
I've been paying a lot of attention in this last months to everything that is said and all the previews about AHS' new season and I got to say, I was pretty excited to see what this season was going to be all about.
The previews looked pretty good so, obviously, I couldn't wait for the first episode. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I still liked it and I still think this season is going to be pretty good, I just wasn't amazed with this first episode.
First episodes never are good, in my opinion, but as the series keeps going, I believe its going to catch up and it's going to become something pretty good and I'm expecting one of the best, if not the best American Horror Story season so far.
Like I said, nothing really new happened in this episode, pretty much everything that we saw in the first trailer.
The episode starts, like the title, in the Election Night, with Sarah Paulson's character, Ally, really upset that Donald Trump won. On the other end of the spectrum is Kai (Evan Peters), who is thrilled that Donald Trump won, and here is the first 'change' from what everyone was expecting.
From the preview, everyone thought that Kai was also against Donald Trump, but it seems like he's the only one happy about the fact that he actually won.
Obviously, this is a pretty good metafor for the types of people that like Trump and for the people that like Hillary - the 'messed up' ones like Trump.
After that, we are also introduced to Billie Lourd's character - Winter - who is also devastated that Donald Trump won, and that's in that moment that we learn that Kai and Winter are actually Brother and Sister (which everyone already thought they were).
We then see a familiar scene. Not exactly the one that we do know, but a similiar one. A couple about to have sex in the woods when Twisty appears and basically kills them. After we see that that's only a story from Twisty's comic book, which Oz (Ally and Ivy's son) is reading. Ally seems the comic book and she gets into panic attack mode because of her fear for clowns.
After that we see Kai attending a city council meeting about security for the local Jewish community center and that's when we find out all the stuff that we've seen in previews about fear and all that. Kai believes that people love fear so, therefore, they shouldn't do anything. The city council disagrees and the motion is passed, which leaves Kai angry and he basically threatens them saying that the worst thing in the world is an humiliated men. We later see Kai harassing a group of Hispanic men on the streets by filling a condom with his urine and throwing it at them, ending up with those men beating him up and with someone filming it (which I assume it's Winter).
Meanwhile, Ally is in the grocery store and she is supposedly attacked by clowns, which we later find out that she's probably just allucinating or something.
Winter is then interviewed to be Oz's new nany, at the same time we see her talking to Kai in some weird way and that's what lead us to believe that they're working together.
Winter is hired as Oz's new nany and, at night, she sees him drawing Twisty, which leads her to showing Oz videos and images of murders and dead bodies on the dark web, stating that she's "vaccinating" him.
While they're doing that, Oz goes to the window and sees Clowns getting out of an Ice Cream truck.
Ally and Ivy get back home and thats's when they see the police outside, in their street, and find out that the Changs (a couple friend of them, who was also in the city council) were murdered.
The episode then ends up with Ally waking up to discover a clown in her bed instead of Ivy and subsequently screaming in terror.
Like I said, not much happened that we didn't already know. Yes, we found out that Kai actually wanted Trump to win, but apart from that, it was just to 'introduce' us to the characters, which is nice but, once again, I was expecting a little bit more.
Nonetheless, I expect a lot from the rest of the season and I'm still super excited and can't wait for the next episode!
Well, I guess that's pretty much it.
Hope you liked it! Let me know all your thoughts and this season premiere and I'll see you later with a new The Challenge rant!
Love,
Daniela.
