The Challenge: All Stars | Season 1 Episode 9 - "You're the Best Around"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello!!

Finally I'm here with this rant. Yes, it took me a while. For some reason it was so difficult to find this episode online (as someone that is from Portugal, I don't have access to Paramount+). And, because of that, by the time I found an episode, I had already seen some spoilers and I already knew who won so, unfortunately, it wasn't a big surprise for me. Also, because of that, this rant won't be that long.

Overall, this episode wasn't as good as the previous one. But again, maybe that was because I already knew who was going to win. I did not know though that no one was quitting, which was something that they made us believe with the preview for this episode. That was nice though - I didn't want some people to quit or be eliminated because of other people.

As for the actual final part of the final, there was another eating challenge, which I love and I missed those on the "main show" so it's nice that they incorporated more of that on this version, there was also a sleeping challenge, as we saw on the preview and then the final portion was a marathon up the mountain - and that last bit was worth double the points, which was something that Aneesa said during the sleeping part of the final.

And because we're already talking about Aneesa, I think I should say that I was a bit disappointed that this wasn't her time to win. I know that already making into the final was huge, and because she wasn't the best on the checkpoints she knew she wasn't going to win so I bet she didn't try her hardest but still... I was happy that she made it to the final but I really thought this was her chance to win but... Yes was so good!

Yes, Yes was the winner of this season/show and I already knew that going into the episode. I wasn't mad at it though - I think he's a great competitor and he's great all-around. He knows about bikes and building things, he's great at math and puzzles, he has the endurance and the will power, he knows the techniques for running and going up a mountain and that was how he won! Through the most part of the marathon Darrell was ahead of Yes, but then Yes realized/knew that with little clothes on he would be faster and not heat up as quickly so he got rid of some layers and that's how he passed Darrell and, ultimately, won the whole thing. Truly, a great competitor! Yes, I was a bit sad that neither Darrel not Aneesa won, but I think with them it's more the "emotional" connection because I've seen them on The Challenge the longest but I did like most of the players in this season and I can't wait to see more of them.

But I guess that's it for this episode. There will be another rant next week because we still have the Reunion but, after that, it's going to be a while until we have a new The Challenge rant, as well as other rants (and next week there won't be a The Flash rant either) so, from now on, the blog won't be active that much but every time there's a new episode of the shows that I cover you know that I will be here a day or two after it airs to talk about it so keep an eye because dates change all the time.

Until then, let me know what you thought of this season/show overall. Did you like it better than the "normal season"? Or do you prefer the drama of the main show? Also tell me if you liked the winner and yeah... I'll see you in my next rant!

Love,

Daniela.

The Flash | Season 7 Episode 11 - "Family Matters, Part 2"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!

So here we are... with another sh*tty episode. Luckily, it looks like this story-line is over so, hopefully, the season will get better from now on... ?!

To be completely honest, I don't even know what to say about this episode. Most of it I was just bored and didn't even pay attention to most of it. The whole episode was cringe AF and that ending?! Ugh, awful.

The beginning actually was such a disappointment! Remember how that last episode ended with Bashir, Alexa and Iris dead, which got me a bit excited about this week's episode but, turns out, they weren't really dead - it was an illusion. After that the episode just goes downhill. They even have a line where Iris says that "Nora" attacked her because she sees her as competition. What?! That was the most unrealistic thing I've heard on this show - and this is a show about a guy that gets super-speed from a lightning bolt so that says a lot.

Anyway, at least this episode had a subplot that, even though was so misplaced and didn't fit the episode at all, it was the best part of the episode - which was Frost escaping the prison (along with other criminals) and fighting Chill-bane. The chemistry between those two are just so good and that made the episode bearable. But that was about it. The remaining of the episode was boring, annoying and cringe, with everyone still saying the forces are Barry and Iris' kids and there was a point where Bashir even calls Barry dad! Ugh! Hated that! And, obviously, the way that Barry gets "Nora" to "turn good" is through a talk and you already know how I feel about that.

Everything ends well with some little hints about Cisco leaving (he leaves next episode), Frost returning to Caitlin's apartment on probation (we knew something like that would happen) and Frost saying she has a crush on Chill-bane.

And then, the worst part of the episode - Barry and Iris discussing having children and Barry being like really flirty, Iris having none of it, but then she gets up and says to do it (make some babies) and Barry runs after her. Can they be more on the nose with the fact that there's no chemistry between Grant and Candice?! I don't know why people keep shipping Barry and Iris because they do not have chemistry whatsoever, and this scene made it so obvious.

Next week there won't be a new episode but, at this point, I'm not even mad about it. I am, though, excited to move onto another story-line so, let's see what the next half of the season brings, hopefully it will be better than the first half.

Let me know what you thought of this episode, what was your favorite part and what do you expect from the next half of the season and I'll see you soon with a new rant!

Love,

Daniela.

The Challenge: All Stars | Season 1 Episode 8 - "Mo Money Mo Problems"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

First part of the final! This episode was actually so dope! This season has been pretty good but, let's be honest - this final was so much better than all the other episodes of the season.

The thing with the remaining of the season is that it lacked "suspense" and, even though there isn't like major surprises in this ones, there's the excitement of tho is ahead and who's doing better so... Let's talk about that!

Right away TJ lets everyone know that this would be a final with multiple days and run in pairs, but with a twist - in each checkpoint the pairs had to change and they couldn't repeat so everyone had to run with everyone, which I liked. Oh, and the last team to get to checkpoint 2 would go home right away.

I can't spend much time on each checkpoint and each pair because there was a lot but to start they had to solve a puzzle to see who would be paired with who. The first two to finish were Alton and Aneesa, and that got me so excited! However, Alton sucked at canoeing and a lot of the other teams passed them. Still, they were not the last ones - Jisela and Derrick were. They weren't the last ones to finish the puzzle though, but Kellyanne and Big Easy passed them and so Jisela and Derrick were the ones to go home. After the whole thing with Jisela last episode, I wasn't so mad at it, I just wanted to see a bit more of Derrick.

Then, the second checkpoint was to build a bike and then ride it till the third checkpoint. There's not a lot I can say about that one just that Jonna was really smart to pick Yes for that part of the final.

At the end of that, they had to do another puzzle, but a math one now, and again I was so impressed with Yes because he barely looked at it and it was done.

From that one to checkpoint 4 it was walking/running and, for that portion I have to highlight Darrell who was paired with Ruthie and even carried her for part of that run. And then, the dreadful checkpoint - the one where they had to eat two Caroline Reaper peppers, solve a puzzle and run again to the next checkpoint, and that's when everyone starts crumbling (apart from Big Easy, he looked pretty fine after eating those peppers).

A lot of people got sick and the ones that looked the worst were Darrell (who's paired with Kellyanne) and Jemmye (who's paired with Mark) and, from what TJ said, if you quit, your partner leaves as well so... Let's see what happens in the next episode, because that's where this one ended. We do see in the preview though that Kellyanne is still in the game, so I assume nothing happens to Darrell, but we see Jemmye crying while TJ says something about quitters so... At least we do see Aneesa and Jonna and Alton so... There's a ton of people that makes it, now we just gotta see what happens to Jemmye and Mark.

Anyway, let me know what you thought of this episode, were you sad to see Jisela and Derrick leave? Who do you think will win? Tell me everything and I'll see you next week with more rants!

Love,

Daniela.

The Flash | Season 7 Episode 10 - "Family Matters, Part 1"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Back wit a new The Flash rant and back with the crappy episodes.

That's right, this week's episode was another ones that I didn't like. Heck, I would go as far as saying that I hated it! Not only the plot was hella weak but I was so bored! This whole story with the forces looked really good on paper but, when they decided not to fight them and just tr to "recruit" them with words... That just got back to that same old fighting with the bad guys with words and that's so boring! It's not even Iris anymore - it's the way the writers are writing this story - it isn't interesting at all! The ending of this episode did get me a bit more excited, I gotta say that, but still... My hope for this season are long gone. Maybe now the show will surprise me in a good way?! We'll see... But for now, let's get deeper into this episode and why I didn't like it.

This whole episode, as we saw in the preview, was about getting Alexa (aka Fuerza) ready to fight the speed-force. But, at the same time, Barry knew that she wasn't enough so they went after Psycho as well, so the had two forces on their side. And that's basically what this whole episode was about - learning more about Psycho's - Bashir - past and getting him to join Team Flash. But what really annoyed me was the fact that they kept saying that the forces are Barry's kids and these forces keep calling him dad!? Ugh, that's so gross! I seriously hate it and I just want them to stop!

There was also some hints to Cisco leaving, which was expected.

The only thing that I liked about the episode was Joe's little story-line with that detective, which I though she would leave after the whole thing with Frost, but I guess not and, in the end, they dropped a huge bomb on us - Joe leaves the police! That was unexpected and I'm curious to see more of that story-line. But that's about it.

The episode ended with Nora aka speed-force tricking them and, along with Dion, she gets into STAR Labs and steals the powers/forces of the other forces - as well as Iris - ending with, what I assume, are their deaths (Alexa, Bashir and Iris), so maybe next episode will be better?! I guess I'm always waiting for that turn so... We'll see. Let me know what you thought of this episode and I'll see you in a minute with a new rant!

Love,

Daniela

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 13 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Goodbye"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

OMG I'm so stoked to talk about this episode!

This was Zoey's season finale and, what could have been such a sad send off (even more because we don't know if the show will be renewed or not) ended up being such an uplifting episode with the end that I wanted!

That's right folks, they did it! Clarkeman (yes, I finally know what Zoey and Max's ship name is) is endgame!

I'm sure you'll forgive me but I have to start with the end! OMG what was that?! I mean, not only they really mad us think Zoey would end up alone but they left us with such a big cliffhanger! So now Max hears Heart Songs as well?! I mean... This makes the possibility of an upcoming season so much more interesting, but that really caught me by surprise (not mad though).

Okay, now that I've got my excitement out, let's rewind a bit and get through the whole episode.

We knew that Zoey felt much more than friendship towards Max (even after their 'break up') but, to be honest, we never really saw her 'not working' with Simon either so I truly didn't know what they were going to do with this episode. I knew I wanted Clarkeman to be endgame but I didn't know if that was going to happen. Well, turns out pretty early in the episode Zoey realizes that things with Simon aren't working out and, luckily, Simon felt the exact same way and their break up was fairly simple. Obviously they will still have a deep connection, mainly because of the things they shared about their dads and all of that, but Zoey's heart belonged to Max.

However, it isn't until she learns about what we saw in the last episode (about Max giving her his spot at SPRQ Point) and after a beautiful dream musical number with her dad that Zoey realizes she has to do something about Max leaving otherwise she will regret it for the rest of her life. But, of course, something had to happen and Zoey doesn't go through with her plan. She sees Max and Rose at the airport and, as she's approaching them, she hears/sees Max sing a heart song that she assumed was towards Rose and so she gives up and goes back home.

It's then, in the end of the episode, that Max appears, revealing that he didn't go to New York. Rose realized that he wasn't focused at all and Max realized that he loved someone else - Zoey - who was the person he was singing about after all. And then the plot twist happens.

As Zoey is explaining her feelings for him, she starts singing and turns out Max now hears Heart Songs! And the episode ended like that. Now I wonder - does both of them have powers now? Did Zoey transfer her powers to Max? Did Zoey get rid of her powers and they won't come back to her? There's so many questions now! I really need that Season 3! But, I gotta say - If they end up not renewing the show I won't be mad at how this ended. I will be sad that one of my favorite shows ended but the actual ending wasn't bad - everyone is happy and Zoey and Max are together. It's pretty clear that the writers really thought this through. Not only they pleases everyone, with Zoey and Simon dating for a few episodes, then making the previews episode which changed a lot of people's minds on Clarkeman (people started shipping them) and then they ended with basically everyone happy but still with an interesting twist that, if they get picked up (which I hope they do) will make a great Season 3 - so let's hope that happens!

Well, I guess that's it from me as far Zoey's Playlist goes. I'm sorry if this rant was a bit messy but so many emotions! Let me know what you guys thought of this season finale and what do you think - do you think there will be a Season 3? Tell me everything and I'll see you later this week with more rants!

Love,

Daniela.

The Challenge: All Stars | Season 1 Episode 7 - "What About Your Friends?"

Spoiler Alert!

Hey!

I know, I know. I'm super late with this rant but you know the drill when it comes to The Challenge: All Stars - it's super hard to find these episodes (as someone from Portugal) and only now I found the new episode. But, let's not waist any minute and get into it.

This was actually an exciting episode. Not only the actual challenge was an individual one, so there was no captains and whatnot, but this episode actually had some interesting drama.

The challenge of the week was a pretty fun one. It was one of those that happen on a moving truck and those are always super fun to watch. And it looked like it wasn't easy because a lot of people didn't manage to finish nor do really well, to be honest.

But, as expected, Mark was the winner (the challenge was made for him) even though Derrick almost had the win. As for the girls, Kellyanne was the winner, which came a little out of nowhere. As for the losers, Jisela and Big Easy where the ones to go straight into elimination. This week was a "male" elimination which meant the house would vote for a guy and then that guy would pick the girl. Oh, and as we saw in the preview last week, this was the final elimination before the final so a lot was on the line, and that was when the drama started.

Jisela wanted someone that hadn't gone to elimination yet (as for the boys) because she thought that was the fair way to play the game - apart from Derrick, she didn't want him in the elimination. But then, her "partner", Big Easy, wanted to go against Nehemiah and that started a whole thing, mainly with Aneesa because she didn't want to vote for Yes, which was basically the person that Jisela wanted.

When it came to the nominations, it was pretty split, but in the end it came down to Yes and Nehemiah and Aneesa was the swing vote - and she went with Nehemiah to go into elimination. That really pissed off Jisela who, apparently, was really good friends with Aneesa outside of the game, and just because Aneesa didn't do what Jisela wanted, she started saying that Aneesa was a snake and so on so on. I really didn't like that and that kind of changed my mind about Jisela.

Anyway... It was time to go into elimination and Aneesa was still worried that she would go into elimination and, one more time, miss the final last minute. Luckily Nehemiah chose Kendal which, to be honest, I was sad for her. She has been in an elimination so many times and putting her in again... sad. And even sadder was the fact that her and Nehemiah indeed lost and they went home. The bright side is that Big Easy won and I like to see the underdogs succeed. But Jisela... We'll see how she acts in this last episodes. But that's it.

Overall I thought this was an exciting episode and I can't wait to see all these people in a final. And, hopefully, Aneesa win this one, because she really deserves it!

Let me know what you thought of the whole Aneesa/Jisela drama, and who do you think/hope wins this season/series and I'll talk to you in my next rant!

Love,

Daniela.

The Flash | Season 7 Episode 9 - "Timeless"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everybody!

Ugh, it pains me so much to say this but this week's episode of The Flash was pretty bad!

The actually had something pretty interesting going on last episode, with the speed-force being bad but... I don't wanna be labeled a hater but... They had to integrate Iris in this story-line and just made everything suck!

The episode actually began right where the last episode ended - with "Nora" killing Fuerza. To this "Nora" let's Barry and Iris know that all the other forces were created because the brought her back (the speed-force) and, therefore, they are the reason why all of this is happening. Because of that she has no other way than kill this forces - which will also kill the people where these forces "entered".

Of course Barry is not okay with killing other people, which just makes the speed-force mad - and to that she just says she will do it by herself.

This was a good set up! And then, Barry actually had a good plan (that could ultimately end badly, but they would figure out that later). So Barry's plan was to go back in time and prevent the forces from getting inside these people and just basically prevent these forces from being born. However, Iris is not okay with this plan and, for the first time, Barry goes with his plan without Iris approval. That got me excited because we would see Barry be The Flash and just do his thing but, as I mentioned before, they had to have Iris involved in all of this and, not only created her own story-line with her, Alegra and Kamila go look for Nora but then, at the very end, after Cisco not agreeing with Barry's plan either, Barry comes to the conclusion that Iris was right and, as he's about to "kill" these forces, he gives up on his plan.

That was the dumbest story-line I have ever seen and this was literally what you call a filler episode. Everything that happened in this episode didn't matter and was just a waste of an episode.

It's so clear that they want to involve Iris in the story but it doesn't work! I get that Barry loves her but damn! Let Barry be his own person! Ugh!

The only nice thing about this episode was that we got Tom Cavanagh back as a special guest, only for this episode, as I understood, and that made the episode bearable.

Then they also set up Cisco leaving the show so... That not only was pretty obvious but also is kind of sad that we are loosing so many of the main characters and... I guess that's it.

Basically it's like this episode never happened and Team Flash has to work on a new plan.

Next episode doesn't look much better, to be honest. From what I understood it's mainly about Fuerza (yes, they brought her back to life *eye-roll*) and her trying to control her powers - that's it. The speed-force is still the villain here so... Let's see where this goes.

Let me know what you thought of the episode and if you were as disappointed as I was and I'll see you in my next rant!

Love,

Daniela.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 12 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Session"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!!

I know, I know, I'm late again...I'm sorry but yesterday was hectic and I didn't have time to watch the new episode. But I did today and let me tell you - this episode was so heartwarming! I mean, Zoey's Playlist always his but in this episode we went back in time and it just reminded me of the first season and when I started watching the show... Yeah, it was special. Besides, this episode just made me love Max even more and, from what I've seen, a lot of people became Team Max with this episode so... I'm happy about that!

However, this episode also made me a bit sad with the fact that the season is ending and, from what I've seen people talk about, there's a possibility of the show not being renewed because, apparently, people in the US aren't watching so... That makes me sad... But let's talk about better things and get into this super cute episode!

So, as I said, this episode took us back in time to things that we didn't see happen - when Zoey started her job in SPRQ Point and, therefore, when she first met Max. It was super interesting the way they set this up because all the flashbacks that we got were through Zoey telling them to her therapist. And we learn so much about Zoey and just everyone else, in general.

The core of the episode was really Zoey understanding where her fear of loss is coming from and that's when we learn that, in her first day at SPRQ Point, Maggie has a heart attack and that's when Zoey first faced the possibility of loosing someone. However, the whole process of Zoey getting into SPRQ Point also sheds a light on her relationship with Max and how all that started.

It was super cute because everything started with Max making fun of her suit and then them get paired up for some 'trials' to see who will get the two positions and, in the midst of all of this not only there's the whole situation with Maggie happening but Zoey and Max start getting close to each other to the point that, when Maggie goes into surgery, Max and Zoey decide to do the last task with Zoey remotely, in the hospital, and then, in the end, Max goes there to tell her that she got the job - her and Leif (yes, we also get introduced to Leif's first day and Leif with a bun). It's later on in the episode that we learn that Max was actually the one to get the job and he gave up his position for Zoey - and from what I understood Zoey doesn't know that, which makes everything even more sweet.

After telling all of this to her therapist, the therapist actually says something that I really enjoyed and I think can summarize the show perfectly - "it's as much a love story as it is a loss story". Because it is! Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist started with Mitch's illness being a really big focus on the show and then, when he died, the show became a lot about the love triangle, but at the same time Zoey was still grieving the loss of her father so... Yeah, this is a perfect way to summarize the show.

With only one episode left of this season, I really hope they give us Zoey and Max as endgame. The connection between the too of them is undeniable and as much as I like Simon and he also has a good relationship with Zoey, same with Rose and Max, the deep connection that Zoey and Max is so much stronger - after all, as the therapist said, that whole first day at SPRQ Point was not only about facing the possibility of loss but also her finding her best friend and creating a connection with Max. Besides, it's clear that Max still has feelings for Zoey because he even kept the prototype that they created in that first day so, it's clear that that day meant a lot to him.

Okay, I guess that's pretty much it from me, I just need to highlight something that was really interesting - the way they incorporated the songs in this episode. Because all of this flashbacks happened before Zoey got her powers, the people really sang in certain situations so... That was really cleaver. Not as epic, but the story as the most important thing here so I'm not mad at it, at all.

Now that's it. Let me know what you thought of the episode, if you were Team Simon and this episode changed your mind and yeah... I'll see you tomorrow with a new The Flash rant!!

Love,

Daniela.

The Challenge: Double Agents | Season 36 Episode 21 - "Reunion Part 2"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everybody!

Here we are with the Reunion Part 2 from Double Agents, which is also the last episode of this season's The Challenge.

As per usual, these are hard episodes to talk about because the episode itself is them talking about so... Bare with me. I'm not going to talk about every single thing that they talked in the episode so, if I don't mention something that you'd like to know my opinion on, just hit me up on twitter and I will gladly talk to you about The Challenge - I love that, to be honest. But for now, let's talk about what I thought were the highlights of this episode.

The episode started out still focused on Fessy and I get it - Fessy was so sh*tty this season but they are really giving way too much attention. On the other hand, I loved that they all called him out on his bullsh*t. And that segment about what he did to Nelson... To be honest, I didn't even know they were that close but, apparently, they had an argument before going into the show and that kind of messed up their relationship... And then, Fessy betrayed Nelson like that... I mean, I'm not Nelson's biggest fan but he truly his a great friend, I mean, what he did for Cory last season! That was huge! And he has been showing time and time again that he his a loyal friend so... Yeah, I felt bad for him and I am so annoyed at Fessy. I wish they wouldn't bring him back for future seasons because just his face make me roll my eyes but, from what I've heard, he will be back next season so... If that's true, let's just hope he goes home early.

On another note, you just gotta love Kyle. His segment in this episode was short but it was funny because he just doesn't take things that seriously. It was mainly about Leroy betraying him last minute but he owned up to it and that's what make all these players likable - they screw up but they acknowledge what they did and, some of them, even apologize for it.

Also, someone that has been growing on me and that I've been talking a lot about in my past rants is Devin - I don't know if he just got more mature or if he just simply grew on me, but the fact that he owns to his 'not so great' status as a competitor is so much fun! He knows it and he's not afraid to say it. Plus, the fact that he dislikes all the people that I also dislike *cough* Josh *cough* also make him more likable to me.

Someone else that has also grown on me is Aneesa. Not that I disliked her but I wasn't her biggest fan. But on this last few seasons I've grown to like her and really feel bad for everyone not giving her the credit that she deserves. And yes, it's about time Aneesa wins a challenge so, hopefully, that happens in All Stars because she truly deserves it!

Those where the main topics to me but I also have to mention the fact that, in this Reunion, they took the time to show some other things besides the drama, such as some funny moments that were truly so much fun; talk about the actual challenges and which ones where the worse; and, in the end, they payed tribute to Leroy, which this was his last season. To be honest, I'm like CT - I think Leroy is going to take a break, yes, but he might come back in like 7 or 8 years, maybe in something like All Stars, who knows, but I don't think this is the last time we saw Leroy compete. But even if it is, he had a great run and I wanted him to have a win but this was pretty good as well so... It's nice!

All in all, this Part 2 of the Reunion as a lot better and happier in general and it left me feeling good so, that's also nice. Let me know what you thought of this Reunion Part 2, as well as the overall season and, who do you want to see on the challenge next season? From what I've heard they are already filming it and most of the cast is the same as in this season so... We'll see. In the meantime there won't be 'normal challenge' rants but I'll be back next week with All Stars as well as The Flash rant and Zoey's Playlist rant.

Love,

Daniela.

The Challenge: All Stars | Season 1 Episode 6 - "Free Fallin'"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Here we are with a new The Challenge rant! However, this time I bring you All Stars first because I can't find the other one anywhere... But it's fine, at least having one The Challenge is nice so, let's get into it.

The thing with this new season is that it's too short and I can't feel the emotions that I usually feel while watching the 'normal' season. I love that they go straight into what's important and I love how they don't focus on drama too much but let's be honest... It's the drama that give you those heightened emotions and, without that here, you're just watching people compete. I do already have my favorites, to the point that this episode was really hard to pick who I was rooting for. But before I get into the elimination, let's talk about the week's challenge.

This week the challenge was above water and they had to do a puzzle. It was a team thing and, in the end, only one person finished the puzzle correctly - Big Easy. So Big Easy and Ruthie, the team captains, where safe. As for the ones going straight into elimination... I don't know exactly how they picked one team because, if none of the others finished the puzzle correctly, how did they pick the loosing team?! If you understood that please let me know because I was really confused. Still, I rolled with it and the ones going straight into elimination where Mark and Kendall. This was the moment that I've been waiting for! Ever since I saw him I wanted to see Mark in an elimination. He's so big and looks so strong and, after all, he's basically in charge of this season so... Yeah, it was pretty exciting! But then, they picked the girl that went against them and everything changed.

So Mark left up to Kendall as for the girl she wanted to go against and she let the house decide. Well, luckily for all the other girls, Katie decided to volunteer herself because she didn't do anything in the challenge. Even though the girls where okay with it, the guys had to say something about it as well - after all, Katie then would pick one of the guys to go into elimination with her. But all the guys where fine with it. I mean, they were all terrified of going in - all besides Laterrian, who just went straight to Katie and told her to pick him that he would be there for her and he would try his best. That was just the sweetest thing anyone could do! The fact that he said that we wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that he could help a friend and he didn't do it... That made him even a better competitor.

Well, and that was what Katie did - she picked Laterrian - and because of that I was so torn on who I wanted to win. On one hand there's Mark and Kendall who I think are the strongest competitors in there, and on the other hand there's the underdogs (sort of) with Laterrian being such a good person... Yeah... I guess in the end I wanted Katie and Laterrian to win because... yes, I was a bit sad when they lost. But, I'm also happy I get to see Mark compete more because, to be honest, that elimination was a bit weak. I mean, it looked tough, but I expected more from Mark (even with him winning) so I hope I get to see him compete more again...

And that's basically it, to be honest. TJ did drop a bomb in the preview - next episode is the last one before the final. WOW. Did not expect that! I mean, I knew episode 9 would be the last with 10 being the Reunion but, for some reason, the next episode being the last before the final caught me a bit off guard. So, let me know what you think of that. Would like this season to be longer? What do you think is going to happen next episode, now that we know that what follows is the final? Personally, I'll say that the next one will be a quadruple elimination because there's way too many people in the house still. But who knows?! This season has been pretty different from all the other ones so... We'll see. In the meantime let me know your predictions and hopefully I get back to you with the Reunion Part II from Double Agents.

Love,

Daniela.

The Flash | Season 7 Episode 8 - "The People V. Killer Frost"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

It's a sad day for us The Flash fans. Yes, the season is back on air but we got some pretty upsetting news - Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh aren't coming back next season. Well, actually, Carlos isn't coming back next season, as for Tom, it looks like the last time we saw him was his last appearance. They are planning on having him in an upcoming episode but just like a quick appearance so... I guess my questions were answered. I have been really intrigued about who he was going to play this season, having in mind that they 'killed' the whole multiple Wells thing and the Wells we got went away so... It looks like he won't be playing anything new, nor he will be on this season at all. What a shame...

And besides that, this comeback from hiatus wasn't great either. This season has been a huge roller-coaster in terms of quality. Some episodes are nice but there's other ones that are really crappy and, to be honest, I'm loosing faith in the show. Plus, without a ton of major characters... It looks like Season 8 might be the last season of the show. But, as for now, let's talk about episode 8 because, even though it wasn't great, it was important for the remaining of the season (I believe).

So, this episode was the fallout of everything that happened with Frost and Caitlin in the last one. However, they also introduced a really messy story in here, with Barry and the Speed-Force going after Fuerza. Well, not only I thought this story was really out of place (they should've just focused on Frost) but also it was so damn predictable. I'm just going to say it - Barry and Nora (aka Speed-Force) find Fuerza in her 'natural' form and the speed-force is really aggressive towards her when Barry is trying to get her to go to STAR Labs to get tested. After getting her to do so, while they're testing on her, and after seeing that she is indeed Fuerza, the Speed-Force attacks her and uses Barry's powers against himself (actually, takes some of his powers for herself) and kills Fuerza. Well, what a big reveal (not). It was so obvious that the Speed-Force was shady and she had a deeper motive in all of this. Not only it's predictable but sort of lame... Still, let's see where this goes. And as for the Barry story in this episode, that was it. Let's focus on the min thing now.

There's not a lot to talk about either though. They did throw some unexpected thing at me, starting with the cure. I had completely forgotten about the fact that they had a meta-cure and they use it here against Frost.

Obviously that agent was shady as heck and she went to ARGUS for the meta-cure and the prosecution wanted Frost's punishment to be taking the meta-cure, instead of going to prison. Of course that starts a whole thing of Caitlin and Cisco trying to 'destroy' the cure, which the succeeded, but of course the had a backup. Then, at the end, without any other option, Frost and Caitlin agree on an extreme plan - Life in Prison. That's right, they figured the only way they wouldn't take away Frost's powers was to keep her 'locked up', given the fact that what the prosecution wanted was to maintain the public safe. Well, with her forever in prison, they're safe and that's basically how the episode ended - with Frost going to prison. It was actually pretty sad, I'll give them that, and I was not expecting the life in prison thing but, this story-line only leaves two choices, both that I'm not a fan of - 1) they will do the same story they did in Arrow and try to break her free or 2) this was the last time we saw Frost which, to be completely fair, is even worse. Why do that? Why take away one of people's favorite characters? I mean, I get that it might be a lot of work for Danielle Panabaker and she was recently a mother so she might want more time at home but... I don't know, I don't like it...

And, because of all of this things, this was a pretty mediocre episode for me. Yes, it had surprising moments but, in the end, it was really lackluster.

What did you think of the episode? Do you think this is the last time we saw Frost? Or do you think they will try and break her out of the prison? Tell me all your thoughts and I'll talk to you tomorrow with more rants!

Love,

Daniela.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | Season 2 Episode 11 - "Zoey's Extraordinary Double Date"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Zoey's Playlist is back from it's little hiatus and I do not like where this is going!

This week's episode was a mess. Not that the episode was bad - no! It's more the other way around. The episode was great, but everything in Zoey's life is such a mess and I truly felt that. I guess I'll just jump right into it.

The episode starts out with a really important scene, in my opinion. I loved right away that they had an actor from The Good Doctor in there as well as the actress that played Kitty on Glee. That was awesome, as well as the musical number that they sang, but what was important for the actual plot was when Zoey got into her therapist appointment. She was so relatable right there talking about all the things that she has going on in her life - work, family, relationship, all the tv shows she has to watch - I loved that! I've always said this, Zoey is so relatable, I really connect to her struggles (some of them) and I believe that is one of the reasons why I love this show so much. Anyway... So her therapists tell her to just focus on one thing that she can improve on and so she decides to make a day all dedicated to Simon and what he wants to do. And that's when the name of the episode comes in. They start thinking about what to do and Rose appears and says that she and Max are going on a costume run and Simon is on board and, again Zoey being so relatable, she isn't really into it but she agrees because she wants to give Simon a perfect day.

Well, obviously things get a bit chaotic mostly when she hears Perry sing a song about how he's afraid of his ex-husband meeting Mo and, as in true Zoey fashion, she agrees to help him after the run while they're all there at MaxiMo. What Zoey doesn't see coming is when Max reveals that he's thinking about going to New York for a while because Rose has a friend that is interesting in opening a pop-up of MaxiMo. And that's when I say no to this whole thing. I mean, it creates good intrigue and everything makes sense but I just want Max and Zoey back together! And it looks like that won't happen anytime soon.

Zoey creates a big mess when she acts a bit like she's jealous (but I'll get into it) making Rose uncomfortable, as well as Simon, and Max ends up not being happy with her either. But the thing is, Zoey ends up talking to her therapist about the whole mess and he tells her that it might not be feelings for Max - it can actually be her afraid of loosing someone else, after loosing her father, and then Joan moving away and now she's afraid to loose her best-friend too. And, as much as I want her to still have romantic feelings for Max, I love that they're introducing a different element to the mix and giving Zoey even more depth and just say that the lost of a loved one is such a complicated thing. I love all the layers that the producers and writers put into the show! What I don't love though is that they're killing my favorite ship!

Yes, as I said, Max is not happy with Zoey and he tells her that the need to stop what the have been doing - basically telling her that they can't be friends and that he needs some space from her. Not only that broke me but it was also so heartbroken to Zoey that seeing her leave MaxiMo crying was so heartbreaking to me... I just want Max and Zoey back together as they were in the beginning of this season! Ugh!!

One good thing this come out of this episode though - turns out Maggie does not have a gambling problem and she just wanted to get rid of the money she got from that architect that hired and the hit on her. The problem then was that she kept winning and now she has a ton of money. Luckily Deb was there to make good use of the money and it looks like they're going on a bit of a vacation so... I guess we won't see Maggie for a few episodes.

Anyway... This was a lot to take in and I don't know where this whole thing with Simon, Zoey and Max is going and, as much as I want Max and Zoey together, I just want to see Zoey happy so... Let's hope we get that. Oh, I also forgot to mention that there was a little plot about the phone at SPRQ Point and that Tobin and that other girl finally made out so... that's nice.

I guess that's pretty much it from me... Let me know where you land on all of this thing between Zoey, Max and Simon, and what are your predictions for future episodes - I myself have no idea. Until then, I'll have a few more rants up this week so... I'll see you later!

Love,

Daniela.
