The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 7 - "Ankles Aweigh"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone and welcome to a new The Challenge rant!
This episode was a little bit nervewrecking for me because my favourite player (aka Bananas) was at risk (it ended up working fine in the end, but yeah) but, overall, I think this was a great episode! They ended it just like in the previous one (in the middle of the elimination) but I liked what they did with it, starting right at the beginning.
We start right were it left off but instead of taking ages with the girls round, they did it really quickly, which was nice to have like a 'proper' episode, with a challenge, nominations and elimination. We don't reall see what happened to Ammo, but he posted something on his twitter account about what happened with him so, if you want to know more about check it out.
In the girls round, Tori ends up winning, which was what I wanted and what I thought would happen but then, plot twist! We see Marie getting into the Redemption House! I thought we were done with the Redemption House, but I guess they will do it in phases. We also learn that Ammo is not coming back because of his health, which I understand. That means, only Marie will be in the house for a while.
Then we move on to the challenge!
I was quite excited about this challenge because it was going to be about the past seasons. The challenge was basically to put them in order, which is pretty difficult, I might say, since there 30 of them. But, before the challenge, and before they know what it is, they have to form teams of two girls and two guys, and its all up to them. Bananas comes up with a strategy that was quite good actually, to be paired up with someone that he wouldn't feel guilty to send into elimination if he was up for the double cross, so he chose to be with Hunter, Nicole and Kailah.
They ended up loosing and being in the bottom two teams up for double cross, alongside with Jordan, Derrick, Jenna and Tori's team, which worked out in his favour, because there was no way Jordan and Derrick would vote him in so, as long as Hunter didn't get the double cross, Bananas was basically save.
The winning team ended up being Cara Maria, Camila, CT and Leroy.
When it came to nominations, it was unanimous, everyone voted Cory and Aneesa in.
The elimination, like I said previously, was cut in half, so we only saw the girls part this time. But, about the double cross. Also, like I said, Bananas got lucky because Jordan got the double cross and, obviously, he sent Hunter in against Cory. For the girls, it wasn't that good because Nicole got the double cross, so I was afraid for Jenna. Luckily Nicole chose Kailah, which I had a little bit faith in, mostly because Aneesa had some type of injury on her ankle so, I was confident about Kailah.
For the girls, like I wanted, Kailah ended up winning which is good but still, Aneesa is going to the Redemption House so... She might still be back and be really pissed off with everyone.
For the buys, we're going to have to wait for the next episode which, by the look of the preview, is going to be pretty exciting as well. Not because of the challenges this time, but because of the drama. It looks like Camila and Tony are going to hook up or something, which is pretty weird and just wrong! First, because they were rivals on rivals III and then because Tony has a girlfriend and a daughter from that girlfriend so, this isn't going to be good. My prediction is that this is going to be like a strategy or something for the game. Nonetheless, this is going to create a lot of drama. But let's see what happens.
Let me know everything, all your predictions and I'll see you next week, not only with a new The Challenge rant but with the first rant from AHS' new season!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 6 - "YAAAASS, Booty!"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys and Welcome back to a new The Challenge rant.
We are finally 'back to normal', with an episode starting with a challenge, having nominations and then an elimination (although the elimination didn't really end but yeah). Oh, and of course, a little bit of drama. And that's exactly with what the episode started.
Right in the beginning we see Tori and Marie joking around and having fun and, althought that isn't really drama (the drama is coming next), I already know The Challenge that well that I said right away to my sister - who was watching it with me - to keep an eye on those two because they one (or both) of them are going to be 'relevant' in the elimination. After that, comes the drama - Jordan pissed off about the fact that they don't clean up the kitchen and that there's a lot of food going to waste. Obviously the house gets kind of mad at him and really don't care but, to be honest, he was just being real, the kitchen was really a mess.
Moving on, we get into the actual challenge, and this was going to be on the beach, which means a difficult challenge.
The actual challenge is basically a race with a bunch of obstacles, the interesting thing about is the way they were going to play. GuyxGirl pair and, because Tony and Jenna won the redemption house elimination, they were going to be the ones to choose everyone's pairs, including themselves. At first, I thought they were going to choose to be paired with each other, but Jenna was smarter and she did what I would do - pick Bananas! Tony was also (kind of) smart and he chose Tori. The rest of the pairs were Camila and Leroy, CT and Cara Maria, Kailah and Jordan, Aneesa and Derrick, Jemmye and Ammo, etc... They then were split into two rounds and basically the first pair from each round was going to nominate and the last two pairs also from each round were automatically up for the double cross thing.
Once again, right away I said that CT and Cara Maria were going to win and, guess what?! They did. The pairs to loose were Jemmy and Ammo, Aneesa and Derrick, Toni and Tori and Dario and Nicole. The other pair to win was Nelso and Veronica...
Then, because there's always drama before the nominations, Jordan kind of messed up while they were in the bus back to house from the nightclub. They were doing a 'rap battle' and he insulted Jemmy saying that she had a down syndrome face. If it was wrong? Totally. If it was necessary all that drama? Of course not. Plus, after they get into the house, Jordan realizes that he messed up and he tried to go to Jemmy to apologize and on the way, he 'encountered' Aneesa and slightly touched her so she would move out of the way and, as you can imagine, she got all pissed and saying that he pushed her and all that stuff, seriously, those girls take things too seriously. Also, why do they have the need to take other girls' pain?! Seriously, I wasn't a big fan of Jordan and I'm saying this so... Anyway, moving on...
On the nominations they all chose Marie and Jordan to go into elimination, and this is also something that kind of pisses me off like, why can't they just disagree? I mean, I get it that sometimes it isn't good for your game, like Veronica said, but if you don't agree and it doesn't matter for your game, just vote on whoever you want to vote, like Camila did! Just f*ck it! Seriously, it really pisses me off.
Ok... Then, on the actual elimination, Derrick pulled the double cross and he chose Ammo to go against Jordan. For the girls, Aneesa got the double cross and she chose Tori to go against Marie. We didn't see the girls round, but the guys round, damn, it was intense. I was partially rooting for both because I like Ammo but I also wanted Jordan to win just piss off those girls. In the end, Jordan won but Ammo gave an hell of a fight. He gave so much that the episode ends with him laying on the ground and they actually have to call for an ambulance. I feel bad for him...
In terms of predictions for next episode, I feel like Tori is going to win the girls round (and she also the one that I want to win) then, the next challenge looks pretty cool, like a trivia about all the challenge seasons so, I'm also looking forward to that and yeah, I just hope Bananas, Camila and Jenna win (or don't go into elimination) and that's pretty much it.
I hope you guys liked it and I'll see you next week with a new The Challenge rant.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 5 - "Road to Redemption"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
Here I am with a new The Challenge rant, just as promised.
So, this week's episode was all about the Redemption House.
Unlike in a previous season, where they had another house, this time they didn't have for that long nor they had competitions while in that house. Actually, that was something that I've been wondering about for quite some time and it turns out that they only had this challenge and that's it, which lasted this whole episode.
Because this was all about the people that were in the Redemption House, we didn't see much of ther competitors (aka Bananas or Camila, even though we had a bit of Camila because of the whole Amanda thing, which I'll get in a minute).
We see all the players (from the main house) go to the challenge and that's when TJ tells them that they aren't going to compete this time but the other competitors are. We then see what happened 36 hours before... We see Jenna and Tony coming into the Redemption House and, something that I had almost forgot and it was funny to see Tony react to, the fact that Shane, his brother, was sent home for fighting with Simone. His face when finding that out was priceless and I seriously hope that Tony learns not only from his mistakes but also from his brothers' mistakes.
Then we get back to the actual challenge and we find out that they are going to battle out one versus one, in the order that they were eliminated, so it was Darrell against Devin first and Derrick H versus Tony second, for the boys. For the girst it was Amanda against LaToya and then Brianna against Jenna. In the first round Darrell and Amanda won (which was a shame, the Amanda part) and for the secound one Tony and Jenna won. This meant that Darrell was going to face against Tony and Amanda against Jenna. For the girls it was obvious that I was rooting for Jenna, and for the guys I wasn't rooting for either in particular because I just thought that Darrell was going to win no matter what... Oh boy was I wrong!
I'm well aware that Tony just got lucky but I am kind of happy to see him back. Like I said in previous rants, I wasn't a really big fan of Tony, but I'm starting to like him more this season and I truly believe that he deserves a chance so, let's see what he's got.
For the girls, it was a pretty nervewrecking battle! Luckily, my girl Jenna won and I'm so happy I don't have to see Amanda's face again (at least, not this season). Which brings me to the 'Bye Bitch' Camila dance, which was one of the highlights in this episode! Camila is (also) my girl and I feel exactly the same as she does towards Amanda. I really dislike Amanda and I was thrilled to see Jenna back! Let's see if she makes it to the finals once again.
Well, that's pretty much it for me.
Let me know all your thoughts and comments on this episode and I'll see you next week with a new The Challenge rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 20 - "Beside Still Water"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So here it is, the final Shadowhunters rant for this season.
First of all I want to say sorry for posting this quite late but I've been on holidays (once again) and just today I got time to watch the episode. You have no idea how hard it was to not see spoilers but I managed not to so I have a fully (complete) review for you.
I must start this rant with the first thing that I noticed about this episode - the cinematography!
Basically the whole episode had amazing shots and angles which I loved, but mostly the first few scenes (the Sebastian ones) looked so beautiful! Seriously, congrats to Matt Hastings who directed the episode because it really looked perfect!
Since we are already on the 'Sebastian topic', I got to say that I kind of already new about this scene (they posted a little bit on Instagram) but I wasn't really expecting the whole Edom thing and demons coming out of that hole. Still, I loved it and it was really nice to know that, from what I could see, Will Tudor (and Sebastian) is going to stick around for Season 3, which leaves me really happy.
Moving on, I need to say that, throught the whole episode, all I could think about was the person that was going to die, which they kept on teasing throught the past couple of weeks and then, I just felt betrayed.
Maybe I'm the only one feeling this way (please, tell me if you feel like me so I won't feel alone), but I feel like they 'played' us. They kept on saying that someone from the Main Cast was going to die and, yes Jace did die, but not really. We all knew that, in the end, he was going to live, not only because the scene with the angel happened in the books, but also because Dominic already talked about filming Season 3. Ok, Valentine died (apparently) but he wasn't like a major character... He was the bad guy and basically everyone wanted him dead, so it wasn't that sad so, for me, it doesn't count.
The only good part of this whole thing was, like I said, the scene that was in the books and that, from what I know, they kept true to them (somehow).
I also need to mention that, the fact that I was always waiting for someone to die, kept me out of my sit because I was just nervous and curious about what was going to happen, like in that Magnus/Alec/Izzy scene. Because I thought Izzy could be the one to die, I was really afraid for her in that scene. Also, because I didn't know much about Harry, I also thought Magnus could die, so all the Malec scenes were kind of nerve wrecking for me, but I really enjoyed them nonetheless. Plus, I was really happy that they worked things out by the end of the episode.
And, before I end the rant, I need to talk about the whole Luke/Maia/Simon and the Seelie Queen 'problem'. It kind of worked out in the end but, once again, throught all those scenes I kept thinking about Luke because I also thought he could be one to die. Also, the whole Simon thing, it was pretty obvioust he made a deal or something with the Queen which pissed me off a little bit but also left me wondering if Sarah Hyland is going to stick around for Season 3. Maybe not, because the Queen can change her form so... We'll see.
Well, now there's just left to talk about the very last scene, which was Sebastian's mum coming out of 'hell' and, probably, bringing him back. I must say that it was a pretty good cliffhanger, in my opinion, because it left us wondering who that person is (my bet is on Jocelyn, since she's Jonathan's mother afterall) and if she is really bringing Sebastian/Jonathan back, which I hope so, because I'm not ready to say goodbye to Sebastian (also, I hope they keep Will Tudor, because he's amazing as Sebastian/Jonathan).
That's pretty much it.
Overall, I feel like the episode was good, althought I also feel like they kind of tricked me, which I didn't really like. Still, it was a good episode and I'm looking forward to the next season!
Let me know all your thoughts on the season finale and I'll see you later with a new The Challenge rant!
P.S. I haven't heard it carefully but, from what I've heard on the episode, Kat's new song looks pretty good. Just thought I should mention that.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 4 - "Dirty Deeds"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello and welcome back to a new The Challenge rant!
I'm going to start right away and say that this episode has a mixed opinion from me.
In one way it was crazy, with a lot of drama hapenning and with a lot of plot twists and everything but, at the same time, it was a little bit disappointing, mostly because of the fact that it was only nominations and elimination based. Yes, we had a lot of drama, which sometimes is nice, but I like to see the challenges (like I'm always saying) so, in that department, it was a little low but we had some great moments, mostly the Ammo's ones, because he's just funny and I'm starting to really like seeing him on the challenges.
So, like I said, only nomination and elimination, and we basically start off right where the last episode ended.
We see them like talking about who they are going to pick, we also see a little bit of the Redemption House but not much, this episode is all based on the 'main house'. We see the cast go out for drinks and all and that's when the first issue starts. Bananas starts teasing Cory about him wanting to take him and CT and Derrick down and then, out of the blue, Nelson just gets in there and he gets really mad and if it wasn't for the security he would really start punching people.
Then, back to the house, we move to another drama, this time with Tony.
Tony is known for being drama and really loosing his sh*t and not be aware of what he does and it kind of happened again, because he said some stuff to Cara Maria (and the other girls) and they just get really offended. I'm not Tony's biggest fan but really?! They know his drunk and still take what he says seriously? If it was physical stuff, yeah, they could be mad at him, but it was just nonsense and only words that weren't that disrespectful so, I don't get it, I seriously don't.
Anyway, moving on to the discussing about who to vote in, obviously Cory says Bananas right away, but no one really thinks about sending him in and they only two names mentioned really are Tony's and Ammo's. For the girls, also two names, Camila and Kailah, and Kailah only because she has a clear alliance with Jenna.
When it came to the nominations, basically all of them went for Ammo, for the guy, and Kailah for the girls because, let's be real, you don't want to mess around with Camila.
The actual elimination was pretty good, with a kind of 'oldie' challenge but still, the 'draw' was pretty intense. For the girls, none of them got the double cross so, Jemmye, the last one, got it and, influenced by Camila, she said Jenna's name, which meant it was going to be Jenna against Kailah. For the guys, Nelson got it right away (he was the first one) and, kind of afraid, he didn't 'follow' Cory's plan to send it Bananas and he sent in Tony.
I don't really know what to say in terms of the actual challenge, just that it was pretty close for both guys and girls but, in the end, Kailah and Ammo won, which was a little bittersweet for me because I was rooting for Ammo but I was also rooting for Jenna. The only thing keeping me 'relaxed' is the fact that I know that Jenna is going to the Redemption House so, she might still be back.
And yeah, that was it.
Like I said, an episode with a lot of drama but not my favourite because I really like the challenges and we didn't have a lot in this one.
Let me know what you thought in the comments and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 19 - "Hail and Farewell"

Spoiler Alert!

Oh My God you guys, this episode!
I'm so glad I have this blog and seriously, today, I couldn't wait to talk to you.
First of all, that ending! I'm sorry if I'm sounding too much of a fangirl, I'm going to try and keep it low a little bit but really, this episode was something else, mostly because of the last scenes.
You know what is coming. Yes, I'm going to start of right away with Sebastian/Jonathan. I must say that that fight scene between Jace and Jonathan was quite good and probably the best fight scene that the show had so far (the Sebastian/Jonathan one last episode doesn't count because that was basically him slaughtering everyone so, it wasn't really a fight). But, you know, the outcome of the fight wasn't the one that I expected. I was really devastated when I saw that Sebastian was 'really' dead (and I say 'really' because I have some theories for you in the end of the post about that subject). Sebastian/Jonathan is my favourite character in the series (so far) and I was really hoping for Will Tudor to stick around for Season 3. He wasn't even in a full season! If this was really his last episode, he was in 9 episodes, not even 10 so, obviously, I'm not okay with it.
Okay, now that we got that out of the way, we should get back to the beginning of the episode.
The episode started with my favourite duo - Valentine and Jonathan. Their scenes were the best ones in this episodes but, to be honest, I always like their interations. I think you can really see how talented Alan and Will are and their scenes just work beautifully.
We see them having to change the plan, move out of Sebastian's house and then we see the 'gang' (Izzy, Clary and Jace) finding the real Sebastian Verlac dead. He then shifts to a demon but they quickly get that out of the way and kill him which, to be completely fair, was kind of a downside for me. Like, they spent an whole episode trying to kill one of those demons a few episodes ago and now they just kill it like that?! Doesn't really make sense to me but, at least, Izzy said that they already knew how to kill it so, I can forgive that.
Moving on, it was nice to see them worried about a funeral and informing Sebastian Verlac's real family about his death, that was a nice touch, and then we get into the 'juice' of the episode.
We see all that happened between the Downworlders and the Seelie Queen. We see that 'child' again, which really annoys me and, on top of that, I got really sad with Magnus because he's basically the reason why all of this (the Seelie Queen part) is happening. I know that Alec did him wrong and all that, but really, Magnus could've now join the Seelie Queen. And then, because of him, and because of something that he told Luke (that we still don't know about), Luke and Raphael joined her as well.
The only good part about all this is Sarah Hayland. I really enjoyed her as the Seelie Queen, so much better then the other girl. I'm really sorry, but Sarah being the Seelie Queen works out so much better for me, I really hope they keep her.
And since we're already on that topic, that interaction between Simon and the Seelie Queen was also pretty good! Again, someone that I always enjoy their scenes is Simon. I don't know if it is me that I really like his character or if Alberto is really that good (maybe it's both) but I always enjoy Simon's scenes. I liked particularlly when he told the Seelie Queen that she should get used to get 'no's', brilliant!
Okay, now let's talk about Clace.
I'm not a big Clace shipper but I get it. What I don't get were some of the Clace scenes in this episode.
First, that scene where Clary is looking for a place to put a rune on Jace was so unnecessary. It was pretty and all, with both of them glowing and all that slow-motion and the music but, really?!Really?! Was all that necessary? Once again, I get that it was to make Clace fans happy but I just think they could've done something else and maybe take a little less time, because that scene was a little too long.
That was the main issue for me in terms of Clace scenes and in scenes in general.
There was another scene that I think was great but it was little 'underwhelmed' which was when Izzy 'fights' Sebastian. It was pretty cool to see Izzy as a strong women and a strong character, but if you think about it, she didn't really do much, and I think Izzy could do so much better!
Then, I've already talked about the Sebastian scene that left me shredded so let's jump to the very last scene before I dive into predictions.
Once again, that last scene was something that I really enjoyed. I wasn't a big fan of Valentine but I think now, with this whole Jonathan storyline, I started to appreciate him a lot more. He's a character that you never know what to count from, like that scene when he told Jonathan he would come back for him and all that. I was really confused and I didn't know if he was saying the truth or not, so that's good, in my opinion.
Anyway, so Valentine went to talk with the Seelie Queen and he basically made her an offer that she clearly accepted so, I'm really curious to know what he told her. At first, I thought he was going to say to bring back Jonathan because she's the Seelie Queen and she can do all (I think) but I think that's not what he told her so, I think we are going to have to way to find out.
Now, getting into predictions!
I still stand by my last rant and say that it's either Luke or Izzy to die in the finale because 1) I don't think Sebastian is dead and 2) Even if he does, he sure isn't the big death so, I still bet on those two.
About Sebastian/Jonathan...
This may come accross to you as spoilers and, I always have this in the beginning of the rants but really, if you don't want to know more than what I said already, don't read this, because this may be some huge spoilers.
So, me being the huge fan of Sebastian/Jonathan that I am, of course I wasn't okay with his death (as I already mentioned) and, at first, I really thought he was dead like, how could he not?! Plus, I know that they already started filming season 3 and Will Tudor is still in London so he must be, for sure, out of the series, right?! Well... That's when I started thinking.
First, Will said in an aftershow that we were going to see two different sides of Jonathan in the final two episodes, which lead me to think that he's in both episodes.
Second, I started wondering how 'permanet' and how 'damaging' that really was because he couldn't die with just that! I mean, you can't do 'better' than a sword through the heart but we're talking about Sebastian/Jonathan! The big bad and basically a demon so, that's when I remember to check out IMDB. I know that IMDB isn't always right but it is most of the times so I decided to check out the actors list in the next episode and guess what?! Will is in it! But that's not all! I then looked at his character and it says Jonathan / Lucifer! Lucifer! Freaking Lucifer! Damn! If IMDB is right this is going to be huge and I'm already so stoked for the season finale!
Anyway, that's it from me!
Hope you liked my rant and my predictions! Don't forget to let me know your thoughts on the episode and tell me your thoughts on Jonathan becoming Lucifer. Do you think IMDB is right? Let me know.
Until then...
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 3 - "Pride Before the Fall"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone! Here I am with a new The Challenge rant!
I never really know what to say about this The Challenge episodes. I mean, I have a lot to talk about but I never know what is relevant and what is not, so I'm always really confused on how to start this rants.
Anyway, I guess we should start with the elimination that we didn't see last episode.
We finally find out how the eliminations are going to go from now on and basically the loosing team of the challenges will 'gamble' and kind of play a game in which, if they take out a double cross they are save and they will choose who the other two players are going against. If they take out a square, they're still up for elimination.
It's a little bit hard to explain but what matters is that, this time, Dario was the lucky one and he ended up choosing Derrick H to go against Cory. For the girls side, Veronica was up first and she was the lucky one right away, ending up choosing Britini to go against Brianna.
The elimination itself was pretty intense, mostly because of the girls round.
For the guys it was pretty obvious that Cory was going to win, he smashed it throughout the whole 'challenge', then for the girls, it was a whole other story. Both girls were tied, until the very last minute, but Britini won in the end, which was kind of surprising for me because I thought Brianna was going to be the one to win.
After the elimination, I wondered if Brianna and Derrick were really going home or if they were going to join the others at the Redemption House, and I got my answer right away - they joined the others at the Redemption House. It's going to be fun to see when they all (or some of them) come back to the game. Besides, this also leaves me a little less worried because if any of my favourites aka Bananas, Camila or Jenna, end up loosing, they will go to that house and they will have another chance, which already happened to Bananas so, I have my hopes up.
Back to the 'real game' we don't see much before the next challenge, only Nicole and Ammo talking about being kind of underdogs and stuff which was basically a hint for what was coming next.
The actual challenge was only played by two teams of 10, which meant one guy and one girl were out of it and automatically up for elimination. Guess who those two where? Right, Nicole and Ammo. I didn't really care though.
In terms of the actual challenge, like I said, they were split into two teams and they had a girls and guys round. I was rooting for the Blue Team because it had Bananas, Camila and Jenna but, because I'm not so lucky, the Blue Team lost. The guys round was pretty bad and they lost by a far, but the girls round and really tied up and I really thought they could win but no, the Green Team won afterall and now all of my favourite people is up for elimination.
And basically the episode ended like that.
I hate when they do this because I just like to see a 'full' episode, like with a challenge, nominations and then elimination, but I guess they need to do this to create some 'drama' and have some sort of cliffhanger. I kind of get it, I just don't like it.
Anyway, let me know which were your thoughts on this episode, which team were you rooting for and who do you think is going to be in the elimination?
Until next week!
Love,
Daniela.

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 18 - "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone! Here I am with a brand new Shadowhunters rant!
I never thought I would say this about Shadowhunters but the series is getting really good! I find myself every week craving a new episode, when usually I would be kind of anoyed that there was a new episode to watch and, although I shouldn't really say this, I never really wanted to talk about the episodes here because they were just plain boring and bad. But right now, I really want to talk about them, and you may have already notice it because my Shadowhunters rants have been increasing in size.
I know that the main reason why this is happening is Sebastian aka Will Tudor. I always say this - a season is as good as it's villain - and that's exactly what is happening in this Part B of Shadowhunters. Sebastian/Jonathan is that good of a villain and that makes everything better! Besides, you know I have a soft spot for bad guys and psychopaths so I get even more attached to this characters.
Anyway, let's talk about the proper episode because that's what you're here for.
For me, this episode had two main storylines - Malec and Sebastian/Jonathan.
Let's talk about Jonathan first because I want to leave the cute stuff for the end (and also because I just can't wait to talk about my baby).
The last episode ended with Max finding out about Sebastian being in fact Jonathan. Of course, Jonathan being Jonathan (and being a demon) he had to do something about it and he knocked out Max. At first I thought it was just that, but I guess when he went there the second time he did something to him so it would be like very difficult for him to wake up.
Throughout the whole episode I just kept grinning because we, as an audience, we knew that Sebastian was really Jonathan, and his plan was working pretty well. I was seriously amazed at how everything was working out really smoothly for him. No one suspected it was him! He got to know about the whole plan, find out where the Mortal Mirror was, get away from the security cameras, trick Jace and that fight scene! Can we talk about that fight scene?! I love me some badass guys, even more when they're actually evil! Of course we can't really compare this fight scenes to Arrow's fight scenes, for example, but I believe this was one of the best from this show! And then, he got the Mirror and I was pretty happy about that!
Then, Clary talks about all that stuff about eletron and that's when it came to my mind all those scenes where Sebastian was ironing his hand and all that. He has been practicing his pain tolerance besides, like he said, he was in Edom so he even enjoyed the pain so, I knew he was fine.
But, this episode being one of the last ones for this season, something had to go wrong and Clary suspected him and she saw his burning hand. That's when everything goes downhill and she finds out, he looses the Mortal Mirror and basically everyone ends up finding about him.
The thing that surprised me the most was the very end, when Clary finds out that the Mirror that she ended up turning to ashes, wasn't the real Mortal Mirror and that the real Mirror is in fact Lake Lyn. That really surprised me, but in a good way though. I always said that that mirror was like a tiny thing and didn't look that special, now I get it. Lake Lyn looks a lot more like a magical thing, althought I was expecting a real mirror, just a more special one.
Anyway, I also have to mention that Max was fine in the end, which I also suspected. This also means that is going to be someone else to die in the season finale. I'm just going to say my thoughts right now and end the rant with a kind of good note.
So, here's my theory, it is going to be either Izzy, Alec, Magnus or Luke. At first, I thought that it couldn't be anyone that was in San Diego Comic Con, but then it left me with only Raphael, Sebastian/Jonathan and Maia, that's why I said Maia in my last rant. Then, I realized it couldn't be her because she was just promoted to Main Cast, so they can't kill her off. This would leave me with only Raphael and Sebastian, and Sebastian will probably die and if he, in fact does, it won't be like sad for the characters, which Kat said it would be sad, neither would it sad if it was Raphael so it as to be someone from the Main Cast, the cast that was at Comic Con.
After realizing that, I went to see who as been talking about Season 3 on social media and the only ones that haven't said anything about starting filming are Emeraude, Matt, Harry and Isaiah. Harry kind of said something but I'm not sure. Right now my bet would be on either Izzy or Luke to die. Let's see. Let me know your thoughts.
So, let's talk about something good now - Malec.
Malec was so damn cute in this episode! All those flashbacks, mainly those ones in the bed were really good. My favourite scene this episode must have been that one when Alec says that Magnus' cat eyes are beautiful. That was a beautiful scene! Unfortunatelly, it had to end badly because Magnus chose to join the Seelie Queen, that b*tch. I really dislike her. Can't wait to see Sarah Hayland as her thought.
And well, that was pretty much it. There was that whole thing with Maia, Simon and Luke and the new werewolf. Oh, and we can't forget about Luke's partner that finds out about the werewolves, that is going to be a problem!
I guess that's it guys! Next episode is going to be the second to last this season and I'm seriously really excited! I just hope Sebastian doesn't die because I love him and Will Tudor is freaking amazing so, fingers crossed Sebastian/Jonathan doesn't die!
Let me know who you think is going to die and I'll see you tomorrow with a new The Challenge rant!
Love,
Daniela.
