The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 3 - "Pride Before the Fall"

Hello everyone! Here I am with a new The Challenge rant!

I never really know what to say about this The Challenge episodes. I mean, I have a lot to talk about but I never know what is relevant and what is not, so I'm always really confused on how to start this rants.

Anyway, I guess we should start with the elimination that we didn't see last episode.

We finally find out how the eliminations are going to go from now on and basically the loosing team of the challenges will 'gamble' and kind of play a game in which, if they take out a double cross they are save and they will choose who the other two players are going against. If they take out a square, they're still up for elimination.

It's a little bit hard to explain but what matters is that, this time, Dario was the lucky one and he ended up choosing Derrick H to go against Cory. For the girls side, Veronica was up first and she was the lucky one right away, ending up choosing Britini to go against Brianna.

The elimination itself was pretty intense, mostly because of the girls round.

For the guys it was pretty obvious that Cory was going to win, he smashed it throughout the whole 'challenge', then for the girls, it was a whole other story. Both girls were tied, until the very last minute, but Britini won in the end, which was kind of surprising for me because I thought Brianna was going to be the one to win.

After the elimination, I wondered if Brianna and Derrick were really going home or if they were going to join the others at the Redemption House, and I got my answer right away - they joined the others at the Redemption House. It's going to be fun to see when they all (or some of them) come back to the game. Besides, this also leaves me a little less worried because if any of my favourites aka Bananas, Camila or Jenna, end up loosing, they will go to that house and they will have another chance, which already happened to Bananas so, I have my hopes up.

Back to the 'real game' we don't see much before the next challenge, only Nicole and Ammo talking about being kind of underdogs and stuff which was basically a hint for what was coming next.

The actual challenge was only played by two teams of 10, which meant one guy and one girl were out of it and automatically up for elimination. Guess who those two where? Right, Nicole and Ammo. I didn't really care though.

In terms of the actual challenge, like I said, they were split into two teams and they had a girls and guys round. I was rooting for the Blue Team because it had Bananas, Camila and Jenna but, because I'm not so lucky, the Blue Team lost. The guys round was pretty bad and they lost by a far, but the girls round and really tied up and I really thought they could win but no, the Green Team won afterall and now all of my favourite people is up for elimination.

And basically the episode ended like that.

I hate when they do this because I just like to see a 'full' episode, like with a challenge, nominations and then elimination, but I guess they need to do this to create some 'drama' and have some sort of cliffhanger. I kind of get it, I just don't like it.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 22 & 23 - "Who We Are" & "All Along the Watchtower"

So, here I am with the last Supernatural rant this season.

I decided to rant about the two episodes in the same post because they aired one after another, like in a two hour season finale, so I thought it would make sense to put the two episode in the same rant.

Unfortunatelly, I wasn't able to watch the episode(s) live yesterday because I was filming all day and I was too tired, but I watched today and Oh My God when I thought Supernatural couldn't be better the throw this at me.

I enjoyed so much more the 'second' episode, so I may talk more about that one but let's start with episode 22, which was the ending of the British Men of Letter storyline.

In the beginning, this storyline was a bit boring, but then it got interesting. Unfortunatelly, I think there wasn't much they could do with it, that's why they ended it just like this and not in a 'so exciting' way.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed a lot of things in that episode but it wasn't my favourite.

Anyway, we start the episode basically where we left off. We see that Mary went after the other hunters and is going towards Jody Mills.

Luckily, when Mary arrives there, Alex is also there and gets to help Jody subdue Mary.

Meanwhile, Sam, Dean and Toni are still locked up in the bunker. We see them trying to escape through two days but with no luck. That's when the thing that everyone was so excited about is finally put to use - Dean's grenade launcher! That's right guys, Dean gets to use the grenade launcher and that's what saves their life, because that is the reason why Dean was able to escape to hit the bunker's manual override.

After that, they head over to Jody Mills' house, after she tells them what happened with Mary.

That's also when they arrive there that Toni reveals that she can't undo what she did to Mary. Instead, Dean has Toni help him enter Mary's mind where he finds her trapped in a memory of 1983.

In order to undo the brainwashing, Dean starts saying that Mary ruined his life and so one and so one and that was the part that really made me cry. Seriously, that scene was so good but so hard to watch the same time. Applaus to Jensen because he really did an amazing job, not only in that scene, but that scene was seriously incredible.

Something that was also incrdible was Sam's speech to get all the remaining hunters to help and fight the British Men of Letters. That was also remarkable and, althought this episode wasn't the best, it sure had really good moments!

It was also good to she the outcome of it, which, in case you were wondering, Sam and the hunters did win the fight. Oh, that is also when he learns about Lucifer being free.

Back in the bunker, we see Dean being pulled out of Mary's mind and that's when we see Mr. Ketch and we see that he killed Toni. That was shocking to me because I wasn't expecting it at all.

Then, obviously, comes the fight between Dean and Ketch, which was also excitng and, nothing predictable, as Mr. Ketch is about to kill Dean, Mary wakes up, as her 'normal self' and shoots Mr. Ketch. She then kills him and, as much as I liked it, I really wanted to be Dean to kill him but I guess this way is fine too.

And everything seems to end well (at least in this episode,)

Until Sam tells Dean and Mary about Lucifer, and that's when episode 23 starts.

We see the boys trying to find a way to stop Lucifer and, of course, their first thought is to call Rowena, so they do that.

Unfortunatelly, who answers is Lucifer himself, saying that he killed Rowena. Right away I was shocked because I've been asking for Rowena all this time just to now find out that she's dead?! They didn't even let us say goodbye! It can't be, I just refuse to have her dead like this!

Anyway, they talk to Lucifer and after that, they decide that, since they really can't stop him, the only way is to try to find Cass and Kelly and keep them away from Lucifer. So they start looking for weird events, because that's a sign that a nephilim is about to be born.

That's when Crowley appears and we see that he wasn't dead. We all basically already knew that he wasn't but, for those that were distracted, they do explain how he's alive so, that's also good.

Meanwhile, where Cass and Kelly are staying, Cass finds a rift that the baby opened, which leads to an alternate post-apocalyptic reality resulting from the Winchesters having never been born.

The Winchesters are eventually able to locate Cass and Kelly and, that's when they arrive, that Cass show they the alternate  reality, where they meet an alternate reality Bobby Singer.

After that, Crowley shows up (again) and that's when they think of a plan.

We don't see them discussing this plan, but what we see next is very clear, they are going to try and lock Lucifer in that alternate reality.

So, in order to do that Bobby gives them a machine gun capable of killing angels so that they can use against Lucifer to buy some time while Crowley and Sam perform a spell to seal the rift. The only thing is, in order to perform that spell, someone has to die and, right away, when Crowley says that I think that he's going to scrifice himself. Guess what he does? Yes, exactly that.

I was shocked, really! And, as if that wasn't enough, Lucifer is able to follow them out of the rift and he kills Castiel before it closes! Like, what the hell is happening in this show?! I'm sure they are going to do something to get this characters back but... Seriously, I wasn't expecting none of this and just to imagine them really dead... I can't! I need to have Rowena, Crowley and Castiel back! 

But it doesn't end here guys! Mary then shows up and, after fighting Lucifer, she gets him through the rift, trapping him, but in the process, she traps herself in there too and the rift just closes.

And, as we're about to end the episode, we see Dean mourn Castiel's death and Sam goes inside the house to find Kelly dead and Lucifer's son already born, and with the appearance of a teenager. And it just ends like that!

Supernatural always end their seasons like this and this is really painful because now I'll have to wait 5 months to know what is going to happen!

Seriousyl, this season finale was incredible and it left me with so many questions! The biggest of them all obviously is 'are we getting our characters back?', because I just don't want them dead, I just can't.

Anyway, I think that's it guys. Huge season finale!

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 21 - "There's Something About Mary"

A little bit late with this rant but hey, here it is!

I feel like this was a great episode overall. We are getting closer to the end (actually, there's only going to be two more episodes that are going to air on the same day so it's basically just one episode) so obviously things are going to get a lot more interesting. But not just that, we had a lot story development as well as basically all our favourite character (apart from Cas, he wasn't around again).

But yeah, we had to start with something really sad, Eileen's death.

I must say that I didn't remember her that well before this past episode where she was in, but I was really enjoying her character and I was kind of shipping her with Sam, so that was sad. I must've predicted it, to be honest. After she killed that British Men of Letters guy it was clear that something was going to happen to her and it did, in the beginning of this episode. Basically Crowley gave Mr. Ketch an hellhound and it killed Eilleen.

Meanwhile, we see what has been happening to Mary, after we see Toni back in the end of the previous episode. I need to say that it was pretty confusing. I didn't know what was true and what was not but, apparently, Mary did kill one of her hunters friends, which is pretty sad. And, after finding out about that, she tries to kill herself and even asks Mr. Ketch to kill her, but he says that everything will be over soon and that she'll be thinking just like the British Men of Letters.

Obviously the boys find out about all of what is happening, beginning with Eilleen's death, to which they then find a postal from her saying that she's afraid the British Men of Letters are going after her. She also tells them about them spying on her and that's when the boys search for something on the bunker. They finally find it and set a trap, capturing Toni. That is when they find about basically everything. About what is happening to Mary, about Mary's relationship with Mr. Ketch, about all the hunter's deaths and also about Mick's death (which I will never forget).

They get back to the bunker but Mr. Ketch is already there with some mercenaries. Sam and Dean get to kill the mercenaries but then Mary shows up, already brainwashed, and frees Mr. Ketch. 

Mr. Ketch then seals them in the bunker to suffocate to death, along with Toni so he will be in charge of the American operation permanently.

The episode basically ends like that, but while all of this is happening, there's also something going on with Crowley and Lucifer.

Crowley tries to get Lucifer to reveal his son's location since Dagon is dead and he believes Castiel will want the child dead. Obviously, Lucifer being Lucifer, doesn't give Crowley anything. Instead, he finds out that the warding that binds his vessel to Crowley can work both ways, then taking control of Crowley and stabbing him. Just as this is happening, we see Crowley looking at a rat and then, as the other demons take Crowley's body to somewhere else, we also see that same rat following the body so, we basically know that Crowley got himself inside that rat so, no fear, Crowley is not dead.

And yeah, basically the episode ends and Lucifer is free to find his son.

Like I said, next episode(s) will be a two hour finally, the first part being the British Men of Letters storyline and the second part being the Lucifer storyline, so I'm sure it's going to be huge.

I still think that Lucifer's baby is not good, like we were lead to believe in past episodes and that he is going to be born and it is going to be the villain for next season. I'm a littke bit torn in term of Lucifer because I'm kind of tired about everything being about Lucifer but at the same time I just love Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer so, I don't him to be dead. I don't know... Let me kow what you guys think and I'll see you in my next rant!

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 20 - "Twigs & Twine & Tasha Banes"

A new Supernatural episode aired last night so, of course, I'm here to rant about it.

As you know, we are getting closer and closer to the Season Finale, so I was expecting quite a bit from this episode, that's why when it start I was a bit disappointed. Luckily, the episode started to get better and better as we got into it and, in the end, I really enjoyed it!

The episode started out just like any other, with some story of someone else that, right at the beginning of the episode, gets killed. Right after that I thought 'A filler episode? This close to the end?'. That's why I got a bit disappointed, but as soon as we got into Mary's storyline, everything changed!

So, as I said, the episode started with someone 'hunting' something, this time was Tasha Banes, mother of Max and Alicia Banes, the twins that we saw a few episodes ago. Also, as I said, she gets killed in the beginning.

Then, we move to Sam and Dean who have been thinking about Cas and all of that that happened last episode when Alicia calls 'Mary' but it's Sam who answers her phone. Alicia tells him that her mum haven't been contacting her and her brother and so, obviously, Sam and Dean offer to go and look for her.

They go to where Tasha said was going and find her, alive and well, in a hotel. That's when things get fishy...

Meanwhile this is happening, we see Mary working with Mr. Ketch and they're dealing with a Shape Shifter, who's in Mary's form and then moves to Ketch's form,

Right in that moment I think that Tasha, Alicia's mum, is a Shape Shifter, and that this is the theme of this week's episode. That's also when things get interesting.

Right after that, Sam and Dean find a cellar with a lot of bodies, including Tasha's, with their hearts ripped out, which means it isn't a shape shifter. Max also sees that and is devastated, of course.

Then, Max uses his powers and reveals a women at the hotel is a with and that her powers come from a deamon deal and that she creates perfect replica dolls of her victims using the hearts, which is something new, something that we haven't seen on Supernatural, so that's pretty cool!

Obviously, after that comes trouble.

That witch offers Max the doll of his mother in exchange of him taking her power so she doesn't go to hell.

Meanwhile, Dean and Alicia are attacked my the Tasha Doll. Then, Sam gets to kill the witch before Max agrees with the deal, but then the Tasha Doll ends up killing Alicia.

After that, the Winchesters leave Max and then he uses the spell-book to make and unknowing doll of Alicia and burns her real body.

And then comes my favourite part of the episode - Mary and Ketch!

Finally Mary finds out about Mick being dead and that starts a whole bunch of things!

Because of that, she also finds files on all three Winchesters, Claire, Eileen and Garth. Unfortunatelly, Ketch catches her and they have a pretty good fight! Also unfortunatelly, Mary 'doesn't win' and is captured to be interrogated by none other than... Toni Bevell (that bitch!).

So, as you can imagine, next episode is going to be crazy! Not just because of that, but also because we are going to get back to the Lucifer's baby storyline, which is also interesting! I'm really excited to know what they are going to do with all of this.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 14 - "The Raid"

Back with a new Supernatural rant!

But first I need to say I'm sorry because I told you that I was going to post yesterday but I just didn't have the time so the rants that I still have to post (The Flash and Arrow) will be up a little bit later. 

So, now that I've talked about this, let's get into the proper episode.

Finally we got more in depth about the whole British Men of Letter storyline, which I was really hoping we would in this episode. Although I didn't like the ending, it was really interesting and in some cases really exciting to see/know more about Mr. Ketch and Mick.

We start the episode right where the other ended, with Mary and the boys kind of fighting about the fact that Mary have been working with the BMOL to which the boys, obviously, get mad and sad about her.

Then, after a few days, Sam gives up and goes to meet with Mary at the facility that the British Men of Letters are right now. That was also another pretty interesting thing to see because we never really saw where the British Men of Letters have been staying so it was nice to finally see all that.

So, Mary asks Sam to stay for the day so she can show him that what the BMOL have been doing works so they start on showing what they have been doing, reducing a lot the vampires in part of the US. 

Meanwhile, Mr. Ketch visits Dean, who is still pissed, at the bunker. Mr. Ketch tells Dean that they are alike and then takes him on a vampire hunt, the vampire hunt that the British Men of Letters are planning at their facility.

When Mr. Ketch and Dean arrive at the nest, they only find a girl who tells them that the vampires went after the hunters, which meant they went to the BMOL's facility.

Moving on to the facility, the vampires arrive there, led by the Alpha, and kill a bunch of the Men of Letters.

Since none of them, apart from Sam and Mary, have ever killed something, they realize that they are in real trouble, and that's the moment Mary realizes that they need a special weapon, telling Mick that they need... The Colt! I really wasn't expecting Sam to find out so soon about the colt but it was so good! That was one o my favourite scenes of this episode. That, and one of the next scenes, when the Alpha Vampire appears to them and Sam ends up shooting him and killing him with a bullet on the head. That was such a good scene! Loved it!

But then, comes the part that I didn't like. Sam decided to join the Men of Letters. I really don't like this. It's so obvious that there's something sketchy about them. I just don't understand why can't they see it! Hopefully Dean doesn't agree with this! Seriously, my hope is all in Dean! Let's pray they don't get too much into his head, because I know it's going to be hard and Sam is going to try his best to make him join them.

And yeah... Next episode is going to be so good! We are going to have Dean with glasses, which is so hot, Dean is going to work with Crowley, Cas is back, we are going to have more of Mark Pellegrino and the OG Lucifer and It's going to be an hellhound episode! So, a lot to look forward.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 2 - "Mamma Mia"

Back with a Supernatural rant and with a better opinion about this episode.

That's right, this week's episode was bette than the last one, although, it still wasn't enough for me. I guess I'm used to Supernatural having like big plot twists and bigger storylines and this time, I haven't felt that.

I know that there's plenty of people that are enjoying this season so far and, don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it, I'm just not surprised or 'amazed' by the storyline so far. I mean, I know you can't really top a storyline with God and all but still... I'm waiting for that big plot twist that will make me fall in love wih this season.

Anyway, let's talk about the actual events that happened in this episode.

So, Toni keeps interrogating Sam. This time, making him hallucinate that he's having sex with her and all, something that happened in the first seconds of the episode and that got me really confused. I quickly thought about it being some type of hallucination and that Toni was messing with his mind so I wasn't really surprised when they showed us that it was really that what was happening.

Something that really surprised me was her asking him about Ruby. And then, they didn't touch that subject at all through out the whole episode so it got me wondering if we are going to have Ruby back or if she's important to this season's storyline because I can't see her relating to what it is happening at all!

Also in this episode Dean finally founds out where Toni is keeping Sam but let's just say that things don't work like it was supposed to.

So, Castiel finds the warded farm house, but he can't get inside because it's protected against angels (i think) so he has to ask Dean to get inside. Obviously, Mary doesn't stay behind. Not that Dean didn't want that but you see, Dean's stubbornness had to come from someone and guess who that someone is? Yes, that's right, his mum, so obviously she goes along with him, and thank god she does because right when Dean is about to find Sam, he gets trapped and Toni gets him and tortures him in front of Sam. That's when Mary comes in and fights with her, distracting her long enough for Dean to get free and knock Toni out. I got to say, that fight scene between Mary and Toni was one of the best scenes in that episode. Really liked to see Mary being so badass!

As they are about to leave, that's when Mick from the Men of Letters comes in, letting Castiel in as well, telling them that Toni went to far and that the Men of Letters want to work with hunters like the Winchesters to keep American safe.

Let's just say I don't really buy that, mostly because in the end of the episode, when Mick is talking with Toni he tells her that he has already sent for their torturer just in case so, I don't know what he's up to, I just know that it is nothing good.

Anyway, but since the Winchesters don't knoe anything they get back to their bunker 'happily ever after', and that's when we get better glimpse of Sam and Mary's relationship, which is so cute.

I got to say that I loved that last scene where they are all at the table eating and, although it isn' really Sam related, Mary gives Dean pie and he just starts eating it like... like Dean usually does and she says if he can't eat it quicker. It was just a really funny, yet beautiful scene. As well as the last scene when Sam gives Mary John's journal and they hug and it is just beautiful.

But, this episode wasn't just about Toni and the Winchesters. In this episode we got to see Lucifer back and with a new vessel! As well as Crowley working with Rowena to try and get Lucifer back in the cage, not working that well, as you can imagine, resulting in Crowley vanishing and Lucifer taking Rowena prisoner so, you know what that means right? Crowley turning to the Winchesters for help (I bet).

Anyway, so this is my thoughts about the episode.

It sure had it's moments, like the relationship between Sam and Mary as well as Dean and Mary, but overall wasn't an huge episode. I'm still waiting for that one.

Next weeks episode seems interesting. Looks like we are getting back to the brothers (and now Mary) going after monsters, which is always nice to see and now with the mum, it's going to be even more interesting.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 1 - "Keep Calm and Carry On"

That's right! A brand new series here on the blog! But, not so quite new. 

As you may have already notice, Supernatural is in it's 12th Season, which is a lot but, somehow, I just got really into it now... How? I don't know. Maybe because it was too long and I always kept saying "I will watch it some other time", and that other time was this holidays.

So, if you don't follow me on twitter (which you should) you might not know this so, here's a little story for you. Like I said, I decided that it was time to give in into Supernatural so, my goal this summer (more exactly end of August, when I started watching the series) was to watch everything at least, until the new season premiered. So, I started watching it and in the first week I got through 4 seasons. I got pretty confident about watching the whole thing so I changed my goal to finish everything before school started (26th September). Well, turns out, I got through everything in less than a month! Three weeks to be more exact. So, has you can see, I got pretty addicted to I decided to start doing rants of the show, which leads us to this post!

Now that you know my little story on how I got through eleven seasons in less than a month and why I started doing rants of the show, let's get into the actual rant.

I gotta say, first of all that last season's ending was huge so I was really excited for this season to start.

Unfortunatelly, I don't have 'good news' for you. Not that I didn't like the episode, I liked it, but it didn't surprise me like the other seasons did, neither it excited me. I guess it is kind of my fault as well because I watched way too many previews so, when I watched the whole episode, I basically knew everything that happened. Nonetheless, there was still some pretty cool things in this episode, such as Mary.

I was really curious (and I still am) to find out more about Mary Winchester. Of course we already knew a lot about her but now it's completely different. She's in a new century, which is quite fun to see, probably one of my favourite parts of the episode, seeing Mary 'dealing' with all the changes, mostly the technological changes, in the world. So much fun. Also, her relationship with Dean is completely different now and it's exciting to see how they interact with each other and, mostly, how of a mummy's boy Dean is. It's actually pretty cute!

But, this episode was not all rainbows and butterflies.

In the end of last season we saw Sam getting shot by Toni, the british man (woman) of letters. Of course he didn't die, and that's what we see in this episode. Toni shot Sam in the leg and then kidnaps him and takes him for 'interrogation'. Interrrogation from what, you ask me? To be fair, don't even I understand.

Seriously, the whole story with Toni and the British Man of Letters is still quite confusing to me. I understood that they don't like how Sam and Dean work but I don't understand why are they interested or what is their point. I guess we'll find out (or I'll understand) that later but, for now, I'm still really confused about their intentions.

Anyway, Toni questions Sam and of course he doesn't tell her anything so she has her assistant torture him. I found that scene quite amusing because, just like Sam said, what could they done that Lucifer hasn't done? like, seriously, you must be really dumb to be torturing Sam. Or Dean for that matter.

So, obviously the torture doesn't work so Toni tortures Sam through his mind, making him see his loved ones die. Again, it doesn't really work and Sam ends up tricking Toni and almost gets to escape... Unfortunately, he can't...

Meanwhile, Mary and Dean, after catching up and all get back to the bunker to find no one there. Luckily, Castiel appears and that's another of the favourite scenes when Mary points a gun to Castiel, really funny. After they pass their 'issues' they start then working together in order to find Sam.

Somehow Dean gets in contact with Toni and demands to give Sam back which she says no and send her assistant to kill them, which end up going downhill because Mumma Winchester ends up killing her! I'm already loving Mary!

Through Toni's Assistant's phone they get to track where Sam is and that's basically how the episode end.

So, just like I said, now that exciting, but still, good. Apart from Toni, which is so annoying! Can't wait for the boys to get rid of her.

Anyway, this is my first ever Supernatural rant! Hope you guys enjoyed it and I'm sorry is a little too long, I just got carried away. Ups!
