The Vampire Diaries | Season 8 Episode 7 - "The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You"

Spoiler Alert!

Last rant of the week!
So, like the previous ones, this was also the Midseason finale of The Vampire Diaries and with this episode I felt the exact same thing that I did with Supernatural! This week, every single episode of every single series has been amazing and this is proof that my series are really the best ones!
Anyway, let's just get started with the poper rant because I don't want this to be too long.
The episode starts with a flashback! A flashback from Stefan when he was a ripper. I was already expecting this flashbacks. Actually, I expected them to happen in the previous episode but yeah. So, basically the flashbacks are about Stefan killing a camp full of people on the Christmas Eve of 1917.
We don't get any more information in that flashback and From that we move to the present day where Stefan is trying to make the most out of the last day that he has with Caroline and with freedom,
Obviously, because this is a Christmas episode, Caroline had a dinner planned, and everything was going fine, until Damon (who didn't really die) and Sybil crash the 'party' and Damon ends up staking Stefan sending him into a meeting with Cade.
That's in that meeting with Cade that we learn more about that flashback.
We learn that Seline witnessed Stefan killing all those people and that she planned on trading places with him (on serving Cade) but she reads his mind and discovers that he isn't really bad and so she erases the memory of him killing all those people. However, Cade had already decided, many years ago, that Stefan was the perfect servant for him, that's why he accepted the deal with Sybil.
Meanwhile, in that dinner, a lot of things happen. One of them being Caroline giving Damon a present that might change his plans about that night because, what we learn after that Damon is planning on killing someone that night.
We also see in this episode that Seline isn't that bad. So, basically Enzo and Bonnie go after the tuning fork because their friends need it. They find it with Seline, who agrees to give it to them if she talks to Rick about removing the psychic powers she had planted inside the twins, hoping that that redeems herself and so she won't end up in hell, where she knows Cade is going to torture her.
Damon ends up not killing anyone in the party and both him and Sybil leave. That's when he decides to give the present that Caroline gave him to Sybil, not knowing what was inside.
It was Elena's old necklace! In that moment I got really mad because I just couldn't believe that necklace that meant so much to the show and to me was now Sybil's. But, that's when memories of Elena come back to Damon and so he rips out Sybil's heart and leaves her to die.
Back to Stefan, who's still with Cade...
After seeing what he did, what he didn't remember he decides to propose a deal to Cade - He shuts down his humanity, getting more souls faster and Cade shortens Stefan's time to only one year instead of eternity, which Cade's agrees on.
Oh, something that we also see in this episode is that both Bonnie and the Twins get headaches with the tuning fork so, that might be a sign that Bonnie's magic might be back soon? I kind of hope so, because I feel like if she had her powers this would be over way more quickly. However, this way is more fun so... I don't know... Let's see.
Anyway, in the end, Damon and Stefan drive out of Mystic Falls and... Yes, Stefan shuts down his humanity. And the episode ends.
This wasn't such a big cliffhanger as the Supernatural or Arrow ones were, but it was still a pretty big ending leaving me really curious to know what's going to happen next.
Unfortunatelly, we are going to have to wait about a month for the next episode so... Hiatus here on the blog as well as 'in real life'.
That's right guys, the next post will only be on January 3 with the come back of Shadowhunters! So, yeah...
I hope you guys liked this rant and I'll see you next year!
Happy Holidays!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 8 - "LOTUS"

Spoiler Alert!

And, it seems like every series is having an amazing midseason finale!
That's right guys, last night it was also Supernatural's midseason finale and also another great episode this week! Seriously, it seems like every single series did everything they could to leave us on the edge!
So, like I mentioned last week, I was really looking forward to this episode because one, we had more Castiel and Crowley, two, because we had the whole team together and three because I was really hoping we would get done with the Lucifer storyline and get more into the Men of Letters storyline and, guess what? I just got all that I wanted! Yes, we are basically done with the Lucifer storyline and Yes we get a lot more into the Men of Letters storyline and with like really big plot twists and surprises, but I'll get into that later.
The episode, like I mentioned earlier, was basically a continuation of last week's episode, with the 'gang' still looking for Lucifer. We saw in the preview that Lucifer had jump into a priest/cardeal body but that didn't last much. We jumped into another vessel right at the beginning of the episode and, guess which vessel he chose? The President of the United States! Like you couldn't give Lucifer more power...
Anyway, in this episode we get to see a diferent side of Lucifer that we have never seen before, Lucifer kind of in love. We discover that the president is having an affair with one of his employees, Kelley, so now is Lucifer who's having an affair. I don't know if it was just me, but it looked like he was starting to really like her and, eventually, he got her pregnant. Yes, that's right, Lucifer got Kelley pregnant and, I don't know much about this stuff but, isn't Antichrist Lucifer's son? Please, tell me if I'm wrong but, if it really is, I think that would be such an amazing storyline for next season. You know, after Amara and God, you can't really have a bigger storyline, but I think Antichrist could be as good as that one so... I don't know, Supernatural producers, if you eventually, somehow, see this, here's a great storyline for future seasons.
Anyway so, with all of this, Lucifer draws the attention of the Winchesters. Lucifer eventually realizes that and sends the Secret Services to stop the Winchesters. And that's when one of the major things in this episode happen. We finally meet Mr. Ketch! That's right guys, we meet Mr. Ketch in this episode! I must say, I wasn't really expecting to know who he is already. I thought they would give us something more about him but not his identity! And, to top it all of, the boys got rescued by him, who even helped them by giving a device that could expel an angel or a demon from it's vessel, even Lucifer.
They come up with a plan and kidnap Kelley, telling her all about Lucifer and everything and convince her to call him so they could meet in a motel.
With the help of the device that Mr. Ketch gave to them, Sam is able to exorcise Lucifer from the President's body and, with Rowena's help, get him back in the cage.
Everything is looking fine for them, until the Secret Services show up and arrest Sam and Dean thinking that they tried to assassinate the President. And, to top it all of, obviously, Kelley doesn't want to get an abortion and tricks Castiel and flee.
And, that's basically how the episode ends, with the boys getting arrested and put in a prison that, from what we see in the preview for next episode (which is only airing in January 26), is really secret and that no one knows about.
So, this leaves us aching because we have to until over a month to know what happens next!
Seriously, I never thought this would end like that. I always thought it was going to end with something Men of Letters related but this? Never crossed my mind. Now, all we can do is wait...
Anyway guys, as I said, next Supernatural rant will only be up in January but, there's stil going to be one more rant here on the blog tomorrow - TVD rant! So, stay tuned for that!
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 5 Episode 9 - "What We Leave Behind"

Spoiler Alert!

And, another Mid Season Finale.
That's right, all of my series are going to hiatus and, just like The Flash, Arrow is one of them. That might be a good thing because it means we get an awesome episode, full of revelations and plot twists. And that was what we got with this episode!
My review last week, with the crossover, wasn't the best, but this episode make up for the previous one.
So, just like on The Flash, we get back to our 'usual' storyline, barely mentioning the crossover but mentioning it more than what was mentioned on The Flash. He saw a lot of comments about Barry messing up the timeline and all but that was not what really mattered on this episode, Prometheus was!
Just like in previews seasons, I was hoping to get a big revelation in the mid season episode, but this year it wasn't the case.
Anyway so, we start the episode with a scene that I had already seen before on CW's youtube channel (a tip for you, if you want to see exclusive scenes or behind the scenes things of the episodes before they come out, subscribe to CW's youtube channel, they always put online one or two scenes two days before the episode airs), with Evelyn telling more stuff about Team Arrow to Prometheus.
After that, on the Queen's Christmas Party, Prometheus attacks Curtis injecting him with an tuberculosis drug made by Justin Claybourne, a name on Oliver's previous kill list.
This leads me to tak about the flashbacks. That's right, I'm talking about the flashbacks right now instead of in the end of the rant like I usually do, and that's because they are major in this episode! This week the flashbacks are not from a few years ago, when Oliver was still missing but they are about Season 1! Yes, Season 1! In this episode we see some scenes that we didn't see on Season 1 of things that happened. We also see some that appeared on the episodes, like the first time Felicity and Oliver interacted. That scene... It was really nice to see that flashback. But, let's get back to Prometheus...
So, the Team tracks Prometheus and that's in that moment that Evelyn reveals her real allegiance with Prometheus and gets to escape with him.
Meanwhile, Billy, Felicity's boyfriend and the lead agent of the anti-crime team, starts digging on Prometheus and send Felicity some intel before Prometheus captures him.
This information is about Claybourne's illegitimate son, who might be seeking revenge (aka be Prometheus).
After this, Oliver remember that scene with Felicity and remembers about Claybourne's former office building and thinks that Prometheus might be there. He goes there and, apparently Prometheus is there, but... Not! He staged everything and Oliver ended up killing someone else.
Well, but not just someone... Billy! That's right, Oliver ends up killing Billy thinking that it's Prometheus. Prometheus then says, through a pre-recorded track that he did this to show Oliver that everything he touches dies.
Oliver gets back to the Team and tells Felicity about Billy. Luckily, Felicity didn't react that badly. I mean, she is upset but didn't bame Oliver for it. Then, Oliver says that Prometheus is right about everything around him ending up dying and tells the Team to leave him, which, obviously, don't do.
As the episode ends we see everyone fallin apart. Curtis really upset because his husband, Paul just left him after finding out about Curtis working with the Green Arrow, Felicity sad about Billy's death and Diggle is set up and captured by the Army.
And, the biggest scene of the episode, Oliver gets back to the lair and finds Laurel alive and well. And, like that, the episode ends!
I have so many questions, oh my god! I bet it really isn't Laurel but you never know. And, to be honest, I don't really want it to be Laurel because it just gets boring the fact that characters keep dying but not really so... I hope it's an hallucination or Black Siren.
Anyway, we'll have to wait about two months for the next episode so... A lot of theories will come out until then.
In the mean time, let me know your theories and keep an eye on the blog because, although it's Arrow's mid season finale, there's still going to be a Supernatural rant tomorrow and a TVD one on Saturday so, I'll see you tomorrow!
Love,
Daniela.

The Flash | Season 3 Episode 9 - "The Present"

Spoiler Alert!

And, another great episode from The Flash!
I swear, this (and Frequency) might be the shows this year (and with new seasons).
Last week, with the crossover, the Flash's episode, in my opinion, was the best and this week, although with no crossover, still a great episode. As well as the one before the crossover. This whole season have been amazing, really!
Anyway, so this episode started almost where the one before the crossover ended, when we found out who Alchemy is! Still pretty stoked that I called it! But yeah, this rant isn't about, kind of... Because this episode was basically all about Alchemy and, obviously, Julian, which I might already say, I loved it! You know I've loved Julian from the start! He might have been a bit annoyting at the beginning (and he kind of still is) but I still love him! That might be because I'm an huge Tom Felton fan but still, his character is one of the best we had this past seasons.
So, like I said, this episode had a lot of Julian/Alchemy but it also had another 'guest', Jay Garrick.
Flash goes to Earth-3 to ask Jay for help to defeat Savitar. They eventually 'catch him' but, before that, we learn a lot about Alchemy and, something that really liked, we learn a lot about Julian's past.
We learn that he lost his sister when he was 20 years old and a few time after she died, he start seeing her and she told him about a rock that could bring her back. So, he planned out an expedition to India to find that rock. He and his team enventually find it and that's when Savitar 'possesses' him.
After that we move to a scene where Jay and Barry catch Alchemy but Savitar appears. Luckily, Barry gets to put the rock in it's box and 'trap' Savitar. After that, Barry discovers who Alchemy really is and that's when he sees that it's Julian.
He then traps Julian in their 'meta prison' (the one they have in the Star Labs, which I can't remember the name of) and tries to get some information. Obviously, Julian doesn't trust him so, in order to make Julian trust him, Barry reveals himself as The Flash.
That was, for sure, one of my favourite scenes. I've been waiting for that moment since the beginning of the season. I really felt like Julian needed to know in order to trust/like Barry more, and that was what happened in this episode.
Julian ended up trusting Barry and told him his story and that since opening the box with the rock, he have bee blacking out. That's when our team discovers that Julian hasn't been himself and that Savitar has been possessing him.
Also, I have to talk about this. The name of the rock - The Philosopher's Stone. Oh my god, every time they said the name of it I just cracked. And, to top it all of, the first time they said it, is was Julian (Tom Felton) who said it and it was just so funny you know?! Tom was in Harry Potter and the first movie is about the Philisopher's Stone, like... Seriously, really liked that 'pun'.
Anyway, back to the story...
After knowing that, Savitar starts reaching to Cisco through his brothers, saying that same thing that he said to Julian. Cisco ends up opening and the box and Savitar gets out. Barry tries to fight him but he's really strong. Wally goes to help him and, he actually does. At least, he buys Caitlin some time to talk Cisco into closing the box. Luckily, she manages to convince him right in time, right before Savitar is about to kill Barry and Wally.
After that, they manage to talk to Savitar through Julian, who tells the team that future Barry will imprison him and that's why he's after Barry now, in the present. He also tells them that, in the future, one teammate will betray them, another will 'fall' and another will sufer a fate worse than death.
In order to get rid of Savitar for good, Jay and Barry manage to throw the box into the Speed Force but, in the process, Barry ends up in the Future and witnesses Savitar killing Iris.
Well, about this... This might sound a bit harsh but, I didn't really care much about that 'future'. Not that I don't believe it will happen, but because I don't really like Iris. I'm probably going to have a lot of 'hate' about this but it's true, Iris is one of my least favourite characters and I don't ship West-Allen at all so, to be quite honest, I'm kind of looking forward for that future.
On another note, I'm starting to ship Caitlin with Julian. Please, tell me it isn't just me? This episode, when she went to talk with him in the last part of the episode I just... I could see the together, and I do believe they would make a cute couple. Although, I don't think Julian is much into her since she tried to kill him a few episodes ago.
Anyway, Barry gets back from the Future and Jay advises him not to try and change the future because the future isn't fixed.
And, because this was the Mid-Season episode, this was also a Christmas episode, and obviously we had to have some cute moments.
The Team gives Wally his 'Kid Flash' suit, Barry gets an house for Iris and himself and, my favourite, Julian spends the holiday with the West Family (and Friends) and gives Barry his job back, which was really cute.
Yeah, overall, it was a pretty good episode and, although I was expecting it to end with a bang and leave us waiting for the next episode, which it didn't, it was a good ending with (some) happy endings.
So, The Flash will be back in the end of January/beginning of February so, new The Flash rant only around that time. In the mean time, there's still going to be a new Arrow rant tomorrow and a new Supernatural rant on Friday.
Until then.
Love,
Daniela.

The Vampire Diaries | Season 8 Episode 6 - "Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell"

Spoiler Alert!

Back with the TVD rants!
Not for long though, because next week's episode is going to be the last one before the Christmas break so...
Anyway, let's not talk about that and let's talk about the crazy episode that aired last night.
So, as you may already know, we were going to finally meet Cade in this episode, and that was what happened. But before that, a lot more happened.
In the beginning of the episode we see everyone looking for the twins, while Damon and Sybil meet with Seline and the twins at a diner.
That's when we (kind of) discover Seline's plan. She plans on giving Josie and Elizabeth to Cade in exchange for her and Sybil's souls. To be quite honest with you, I didn't really think her plan was just that, but I guess we'll never find that out, because after she reveals that, Sybil also reveals that she has another plans. But, before we know that plans, we see Sybil messing with Enzo's head because, like she said, no one has ever escaped her.
Then, there's when the cute/painful Bonenzo moments start. Seriously, I'm loving Bonenzo in this season and I'm really happy that Enzo has a thicker plot in this season because like, 2 seasons ago, he was really pointless, but not in this one. Besides his romance with Bonnie, which is one of the most beautiful things in this episode and basically in this whole season, it's because of him that our gang finds where Josie and Lizzie are.
In order to both help and get information, Stefan gets inside of Enzo's head and manages to get in contact with Sybil. Obviously, things don't go that well and that's when we realize what's Sybil plan.
She then says that she will stop torturing Enzo if Stefan meets with her and Damon, alone. Of course, Stefan being Stefan, he agrees with that plan. And, you see where this is going right? It's after that that the twins summon Cade, who appears, and to which Seline makes her offer, the twins in exchange for her and her sister. Well, then Sybil makes her offer, instead of the twins, two powerful vampire brothers (Damon and Stefan).
Cade accept her offer but he can only 'have' the brothers if both of them agree and, obviously, Damon, because he's under Sybil 'spell' he agrees, and Stefan, because he's the good guy and wants to save Caroline's daughters, he agrees as well.
The twins soon get back to Alaric and Caroline and that's when both of them decide that it's better for them (the twins) if they're away from all of this, so they leave with Alaric until everything is 'in place'.
After that, Stefan reveals to Caroline about the offer and that he only had twenty-four more hours with her. And, Sybil also reveals something, but to Seline. She reveals that, because Seline left her in the voult for years, that the deal was only to free her own soul (Sybil's) and that Seline now will go to hell because she's no longer serving Cade.
In the very end of the episode, both Matt and Alaric get to stake Damon but, because his new immortality, he isn't killed. And, that's how the episode ends.
Overall, it was a good episode. Not a great one but it was still good. I'm really curious about Cade and hell and everything so, excited for the next episodes.
Probably, for what we saw in the preview, we won't see much of Cade in the next episode, but after the Christmas break, I think things are going to get really interesting!
Anyway, let me know your thoughts about this episode and also tell me which are your predictions for the next episode.
Until then...
Love,
Daniela.

Legends of Tomorrow | Season 2 Episode 7 - "Invasion!"

Spoiler Alert!

And here it is, the final rant of the DC Week Crossover!
I gotta say, this was so much fun! I loved the fact that we saw all of the characters (or almost all of them) interact and having like a 3 hour long episode was so good! Besides, I also really liked doing this, post every single day, it was pretty cool!
I probably wouldn't do it on a daily basis because I just a lot of uni work and I wouldn't be able to, but do this once in a while, it's pretty fun!
Anyway, let's get into the actual episode, the last part of the 4 episodes crossover.
So, since this is, afterall, a Legends episode, obviously we had to have a time travel. This time it was Nate, Mick, Amaya, Felicity and Cisco who went back in time, to Oregon, 1951, to the first Dominator invasion.
They get to capture one of the Dominators but then they end up being all captured by Federal agents.
While in costudy, they learn the reason why the Dominators where on Earth - because they were concerned about metahumans and that they where a threat to the humans.
One of my favourite scenes in this episode happens after this moment, when Felicity and Cisco, being the only ones not captured by the Federal agents, save the rest of the Team, Mick, Nate and Amaya, to what Mick says 'Saved by the Geeks', which I found pretty funny.
Meanwhile in Central City, 2016, the rest of the Team, Supergirl, Ray, Oliver, Firestorm, Diggle, Barry and Sara learn that the Dominators know about Barry's changes in the timeline and that they will give them peace if Barry surrenders to them.
Obviously, Barry is willing to do that, because he's Barry and, obviously, the Team doesn't let him. That's when Oliver gives one of his really inspirational speeches (which I always love, I might say) and Barry changes his mind and decides to join the Team and fight the Dominators. That's also in that moment that Barry and Cisco get their friendship back! That was also one of the higlights of the episode for me. I hated seeing Barry and Cisco like that, mostly the way Cisco was treating Barry, so I was very happy when Cisco said that Barry was his friend and that he wouldn't let him surrender. That was a beautiful scene.
And then, that's when the usual big fight scene happens, again, something that I always love too. Also, obviously, our team wins and the Dominators retreat.
In the very end of the episode we see like a party with everyone celebrating and being friends which I also really liked and that's in that moment when my third favourite scene happens. It was a pretty subtil line that probably not everyone will understand, and that's when Ray, Felicity and Kara are talking and then Kara leaves and Felicity says that it looks like she's looking into a mirror to what Ray says 'She looks a lot like my cousin.'. Get it? Because Brandon Routh once was Superman and Kara/Supergirl is Superman's cousin. I just found that pretty funny. The writes alwasy on point with this lines!
And yeah, in the very end Cisco gives a Kara a device to travel between universes, so she can always go there if she need help or anything (and I guess that's how they are going to do the Music episode, which I'm really excited about), and we see Oliver and Barry hanging out, which I, once again, always love.
Overall, this was an amazing crossover! Seriously, epic! I don't think anyone will ever top this crossover! And, although there was some episodes that I liked more than others, I get why they did what they did with each episode. Arrow one wasn't my favourite, like I said before, but I get it. It's the tone of the series and, besides, it was the 100th Episode, so I get it. (Also, I think that episode gives a clue to who Prometheus might be, but I'll share my theory on other rant).
Anyway, that's it guys. Let me know in the comments what did you think about the crossover and, also, tell me which episode was your favourite, mine was The Flash one.
Until tomorrow with a new TVD rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 7 - "Rock Never Dies"

Spoiler Alert!

Doing a break from the Superhero crossover, here's a new Supernatural rant.
I gotta say, I missed Supernatural last week and I really missed talking about it here.
I know the episodes haven't been great, and out of all the season this is my least favourite (alongside with season six), but its the first season of Superntural that I'm ranting so I like to share with you all my thoughts.
Luckily, this week the series is back (although, again, next week is the mid-season finale) so I get to share with you my opinion about it! And, this week, the episode was all about Lucifer!
That's right, after a few episode without mentioning Lucifer that much, we are back to is storyline and, also back are Castiel and Crowley, who I've actually really missed. They're for sure one of my favourite part of every episode so I always miss them when they're not in them.
So, like I said, Lucifer is back, still with Vince Vincete's body, who looks awful by the way, from getting out of the ocean. Luckily, he gets his vessel temporarily fixed with an old fossilized angel feather and starts working on his 'new plan', getting the bad together and get fresh worshipers.
That's when Dean, Sam, Crowley and Castiel team up and go after him, trying to find where his new concert his going to be. They try to intimidate the one's in Vince's circle, but with no luck.
It's when Lucifer force's Vince's manager to kill himself that one of Vince's bandmates text Castiel with their whereabouts.
Getting to the location, they decide to split up. Crowley and Castiel go to Lucifer in order to buy time for Dean and Sam get everyone out of the venue where the concert his.
Obviously, they plan don't work the first time. Castiel and Crowley get beat up by Lucifer and that's when the music starts playing and Vince (aka Lucifer) appears on stage, leaving everyone crazy.
Luckily, Sam and Dean are smart and active the fire alarm and shot some guns and everyone gets out of the venue real quick.
That's when they get face to face with Lucifer that he reveals to them that he has no plan and basically that he's dealing with some 'daddy issues' because God apologized to him just to leave again with Amara.
To be quite honest with you guys, I'm growing quite tired and annoyed by this storyline. Lucifer was fun, at first, when he had a plan to 'rule the world' and when it was Mark Pellegrino playing him, right now, he's bit boring and I'm not really a big fan of Rick Springfield as Lucifer so, I just hope we get done with this storyline and get back to the Men of Letters one, because it seems way more interesting.
Anyway, Lucifer's vessel (Vince) gets completely 'torn out' from the battle and so Lucifer leaves, promising to go onto bigger things.
And well, that's how the episode ends.
Next week's episode, like I said, besides being the Mid-Season finale, it is going to be another Lucifer related episode so, I hope we get done with that storyline next week.
Until then, let me know your thoughts about this episode and a new rant (Legends of Tomorrow one) will be up in a few hours.
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 5 Episode 8 - "Invasion!"

Spoiler Alert!

So here it is, the second/third part of the biggest super hero crossover!
Unfotunatelly, this rant isn't as good as The Flash one, but I'm going to explain.
This was Arrow's 100 Episode, which is great! And, because of that, they decided to do some type of special episode, with a lot of old characters and, in that, the episode was great but as a crossover, not so much. Neither Barry or Supergirl were much in this episode, the only character that was more relevant was Cisco, which was nice, really liked to see him working with Felicity and Curtis! Love the geek's parts!
Anyway, although this wasn't my favourite episode, obviously I'm still going to proper rant about it.
So, this as a continuation from The Flash's last episode, like I said previously, so Sara, Ray, Thea, Oliver and Diggle were abducted by the aliens, so this episode was basically all about them and what they were going through, inside their minds.
We see everyone having some type of 'dream life'. Oliver is back at the Queen Manor, both his parents are alive, he is about to marry Laurel and Diggle is the Hood.
Meanwhile all of this is happening inside their heads, our geeks, Felicity, Curtis and Cisco try to hack the Dominators' technology.
After that, that's when Barry and Supergirl come into action, to get something that they needed to find the others, ending up really finding them.
In their 'fantasy life', Sara, Ray and Oliver start having flashes of their real lives and soon everyone realizes that their in some type of hallucination.
That's when they decide to leave that 'world' and Arrow's former villains appear, Malcolm Merlyn from Season 1, Deathstroke from Season 2 and Damien Darhk from Season 4. Oliver and the captives end up defeating them get out of their hallucination, waking up inside the Dominators' ship,
They get to leave the ship and they are about to crash, that's when the Waverider appears and rescues them, making the transition to Legends of Tomorrow.
But, before the episode ends, we learn that the Dominators abducted them because they were the ones without superpowers and because they were trying to get information in order to complete a special 'weapon'. Right before the episode ends we also see the Dominators' mothership heading towards Earth. And, that's how the episode ends.
So, like I said before, this wasn't like a great episode, but I believe the Legends of Tomorrow will, that's why I'm live tweeting during this episode for the first time, because, although this wasn't the best episode, this is still a good crossover so I'm really excited to see the end of it.
Well, I guess this is the end of this rant.
Tomorrow there will be new two rants, Legends of Tomorrow one and Supernatural one so, bee on the look for that.
Don't forget to let me know your thoughts about the crossover so far and I'll see you tomorrow.
Love,
Daniela.

The Flash | Season 3 Episode 8 - "Invasion!"

Spoiler Alert!

Omg, best crossover ever!
I know, the crossover barely started but this episode just made the crossover amazing already!
I love to see everyone together although I'm kind of sad they only brought Kara from Supergirl to the crossover, because I would love to see Felicity, Cisco and Winn working together. Besides, I would love to see Chris Wood and Grant Gustin working together because, if you don't know, they went to University together so it would be so cool to now have them working together. Anyway, we are still going to have that The Flash/Supergirl musical episode so... Might still see Grant and Chris singing together.
Anyway, onto the actual episode, which, again, was freaking amazing!
As the title suggests, our Biggest Team Ever have to fight somothing that invades their planet, aliens. So, apparently a meteor is crashing into earth so, obviously, and because this is a The Flash episode afterall, Barry goes there to stop the meteor or, at least, try to find something about it. That's when it crashes that he sees it's not a meteor but a spaceship, with loads of aliens coming out of it.
The next day the first 'crossover character' appears, Lyla, telling them that those aliens are called 'Dominators' and that they have previously been on Earth, killing a lot of people.
That's when Barry decides to join the Teams, Team Arrow, alongside with Thea, who, after knowing about it being aliens, wants to join and help them, The Legends, apart from the 'new characters' Nate and Amaya (which also lefts a bit sad because I would like to see them in this crossover too. We might still see them in the Legends episode, though) and Kara.
I guess I don't need to say that a lot of funny moments happen. I liked to see everyone's reactions to Kara and her powers as well as Kara's reaction to some of the other characters, mostly Mick and Oliver.
Also, when deciding on a Team Leader, Cisco votes it to be Oliver because he's still mad at Barry but Oliver says that it was Barry who got them together so that he should be the Leader. Well, we all know that Barry isn't really a Team Leader so basically he told them to do what Oliver was telling him to say. For sure, Oliver is a way better Team Leader. I still love you Barry, though.
Anyway, so they start training, fighting against Kara, afterall, she's the alien and she's probably the one with similar powers and all with those other aliens.
Something else that I really enjoyed about this episode was that we finally found out what Barry's future sef told Rip Hunter, that message that Jax and Dr. Stein found at the Wave Rider. And, well, if you don't see Legends you probably don't know what the well I'm talking about, as well as, if you only watch Legends and aren't going to watch The Flash's episode of this crossover, you will also miss this really important piece of information so, I highly recommend you to watch all four series because they're all amazing.
Anyway, so we find out and basically Barry's future self tells them that, when the Legends get back to 2016 to not trust anyway because in 40 years time there's going to be a war or something. Then, Barry tells Oliver, Jax and Dr. Stein (the only people that know about this message until now) that we changed the timeline and that a lot of things changed, such as Cisco's brother being dead, Caitlin getting powers and Diggle having a son instead of a daughter.
They decide not to tell anyone right now because they need to focus on the alien issue but, as soon as this ends, Barry will tell everyone.
Of course, things don't go as planned and Cisco finds the message and basically tells everyone. After hearing this, Felicity tells them there's an issue with the aliens and that they need to save the president. As they are about to leave, no one wants Barry to go with them, so he decides to stay, they have Supergirl anyway so they will probably be fine. Oliver doesn't agree and says that he isn't going without Barry, hoping that the rest of the Team would 'let him' go with them, but with no chance, so Oliver stays behind with Barry.
Of course our Team leaders have to be left behind because the rest of the team, then, gets traped by the Dominators with mind control, turning against Oliver and Barry.
Luckily, they have a good plan and Barry gets Kara to destroy the device that was controlling them.
After this, the Team decides to trust Barry again and that's when, suddenly, Sara, Ray, Diggle, Thea and Oliver are teleported away before Barry can intervene. And, that's how the episode ends.
Of course, today there's the continuation on Arrow's episode which I'm going to watch live! So, if you want to tweet with me just follow my accounts - @danixinhahhh.
And yeah, I don't have anything else to say besides already loving this crossover! Seriously so good!
Let me know your thoughts about the crossover and I'll see you tomorrow with the Arrow rant.
Love,
Daniela.
