The Challenge: War of the Worlds | Season 33 Episode 4 - "It's Complicated"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
Wow! They weren't kidding when they said this was going to be the most 'brutal' season to date!
This season have been such a ride and this episode was no exception! Beginning with the episode actually having a challenge, nominations and elimination (which I'm loving) this also had pretty good challenges and a really unpredictable outcome! I'm just going to spill it out so, spoiler alert (in case you didn't read the first one), CT went home! Like, seriously?! I mean, I can't say I didn't see it coming because I watched one of Bananas' vlogs before watching this episode and CT was in it so... It was a major spoiler for me but still, I was shocked to see CT going to home so early! First Ashley (who I don't really care, to be honest) who won last season, then Bananas and now CT! Wow! This is really an unpredictable game and I'm so here for it!
So, they kind of hint about the end of the episode in the very beginning (like they usually do) but then we moved on pretty quickly to the actual challenge (once again, something that I really enjoy). This week's challenge was pretty simple but, nonetheless, kind of hard. They basically had to jump to a 'stick' and then jump again to ring the bell (all in the air, obviously) where, one of the team members jumped and the other swing the 'stick'. Pretty straight forward. Still, a lot of people didn't get to finish it and, like we can see in the banner, Gus hit the stick pretty hard that it busted his lip.
In the end Hunter and Georgia, Nany and Turbo, Paulie and Natalie D where the ones to make the tribunal and you could clearly see who they were going to pick. As expected, Paulie chose Kyle, Hunter chose Amanda and Nany was the wild card here and she chose CT.
Then, it came to the actual Tribunal and I have to agree with both Nany and CT here. Nany said that she chose CT because he doesn't really have any alliances and she doesn't know where he stands, what eventually ends up with him not going to eliminations and having a 'free pass' to the final. On the other hand, CT said that he doesn't have alliances because those never go well and people end up screwing you in the end, which I totally agree and I think, if I was on the challenge, I would probably do the same.
But, because this was a double elimination, when it came to the actual decision, Turbo decided not to go to a tie and sent Kyle to the elimination. Then, Kyle chose to go against JP and Natalie and then, TJ said that JP and Natalie had to choose another team so JP chose CT (like, really unexpectedly).
The elimination challenge was a physical one. TJ also lets us know that this will only have two rounds (boys and girls) and there might be a possibility to form a new duo (in case the winning people aren't from the same team). You would think this was a good challenge for CT and, to be honest, it was, but the thing here is that the boys were only trying to beat CT so it was one against two and Kyle took advantage of that and ended up winning. On the girls side it was a pretty easy win from Mattie so, no new duo. Both Kyle and Mattie won and so they have the relic and are safe next week.
I'm not going to predict anything because, clearly, this game is way too unpredictable.
So, let me know your thoughts on the whole thing and tell me who are you rooting for (since most people were either rooting for Bananas or CT, or both). I'm still rooting for my girl Jenna so, let's hope she wins this season, finally!
I'll see you guys next week!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds | Season 33 Episode 3 - "Casualties of War"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
So, my worst nightmare just came true.
If you've seen the episode you already know what I'm talking about and, if you didn't, I advise you to go watch the episode first because, like it says in the beginning of this post, this contains tons of spoilers - starting now. Yes, my man Bananas went home in the 3rd episode. Can you believe it?! More and more I think that the series is rigged and they don't want Bananas in it anymore, but I'll get into that in a minute. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this episode. For once, Bananas went home and, obviously, I hate that but, on the other hand, the episode had the structure that I like and the challenges (the first one, at least) was really good and the type of challenges that I expect from this series.
Anyway, the episode actually begins right where the last one left off, with us finding about the relic but, this time, we learn that who wins the elimination and wins the relic is safe from next weeks elimination, which I think is fair enough and prevents from the same teams going into elimination.
After that, we see a bit of drama, but not like a lot, we just see some people 'hooking' up and stuff, you know, the usual, and we move pretty quickly to the challenge of the week (once again, something that I'm loving this season). It is a physical challenge, again, what I like, and there's a lot that goes into it (you know, I'm not the best at describing the challenges and I assume you've seen the episode so I don't really need to be here explaining it) I just know that Bananas and Morgan were one of the first teams to get disqualified and, after the preview that we saw for this episode, that wasn't a good sign (turned out to be worst than I thought it would be). The whole thing was pretty bad in terms of my favorite teams getting disqualified and, in the end, the three teams to be in the Tribunal were the worst - Wes and Dee, Paulie and ninja Natalie, Kam and Ashley C. - all teams that have someone that I hate.
As everyone was expecting, Bananas was the first team to get nominated. Also not a surprise was Kyle's team (because Paulie was in the Tribunal) and then the layup team was Amanda and Josh which I was really okay with (you know that).
When it came to the actual voting (the separate votes) it got to a tie and, as you can expect, TJ warned them about the tie, but not saying what would happen if they didn't get to a decision. Truth is, everyone wanted to know what would happen but no one wanted to at the same time so Ashley C changed his vote and that's when Bananas and Morgan were sent into elimination. To be honest, because every time there's a tie, something 'bad' happens to the ones that can't decide, I think this time nothing would happen, instead, I think it would be the safe team (in this case Hunter and Georgia) to choose the team to go in. I guess we'll eventually find out because there's always someone that isn't afraid and just won't change their vote.
So, Bananas was voted in and he chose to go against Zach, all because in the challenge he throw the ball that Wes ended up catching getting him to the Tribunal. I think it was kind of a mistake (obviously it was) because Zach didn't mean it and we see that he's genuinely sorry to make that mistake so... I felt sorry for Zach, even if I wanted Bananas to win.
I don't need to get into much detail, we already know that Bananas lost and won't come back and now Zach is safe. I guess I'm going to keep rooting for my girl Jenna now (let's see Jenna get to the final once again).
This is my take on the latest The Challenge episode. Needless to say that I'm really bummed that Bananas went home but you already know that I'm going to keep watching the series anyway so... Let's just hope Amanda is sent home next (fingers crossed).
Let me know all your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you next week.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds | Season 33 Episode 2 - "Hellraiser"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
As I promised you guys, here I am to talk to you about the new The Challenge episode.
Yes, I just chose that photo for the banner - it was one of the few that I found about this episode so... I had to go with it. But it's actually fine because you know I'm going to talk a lot of sh*t about Amanda anyway (I always do) so see this as a post dedicated to how much I hate Amanda.
I quite enjoyed this episode. It was like the 'first' proper The Challenge episode because, you know, the first episode of the season is always to learn about the new season and the new players and such so, it's always different, so this one was like the 'real' first one and I was really impressed with it. They followed the 'usual' format with a challenge, nominations and elimination, and you know I like that. Last season they kind of got lost on the drama and most of the episode didn't follow this structure but, so for so good for this season, let's hope it stays this way.
So, we don't see a lot of drama in the beginning of the episode and move pretty quickly to the week's challenge, which didn't look like 'hard' but was fun to watch. Also, the order of the vets from last episode was essential for this episode and I can't really tell you all the teams that went against each other because there's still so many in the game but I can tell you that Bananas chose to go against Wes and I loved it! I loved it even more because, in the end, Bananas won and you know I'm always rooting for him - he's my number one.
Apart from Bananas, there were also two other teams that won and were safe from elimination - Cara Maria's team and, unfortunately, Amanda's team. This teams not only were safe but also had to nominate three teams to possibly go into elimination and, in this situation, Amanda was outnumbered, which is always nice.
In the nominations, basically each team chose another team and Bananas chose Hunter's team, Cara chose Ashley's team and Amanda chose Zach's team. After that, they had the Tribunal were they heard the teams that they chose to them decide which team to really send into elimination. I quite liked when it was time for Zach to 'defend himself' because he basically let his team-mate defend them and that left Amanda really angry because when they were paired last season, Zach always called the shots and when they disagreed, they were sent home.
As for the actual elimination, there was a bit of a twist. Instead of choosing as teams, each team member had a vote to choose the team to send into elimination, so 6 votes and not only 3 and, in the end, Hunter and Georgia were the ones that got the most votes. Next, another twist - the chosen team chooses who they want to go against (apart from the Tribunal, the safe teams) and, in this case, Hunter chose to go against Ashley's team which was lovely and so exciting! Although Hunter dislikes Bananas, in this I was rooting for Hunter because I don't like Ashley and he's right to be mad at Ashley so yeah, it was an interesting fight and, in the end, Hunter won and Ashley, who won last season, was the first one to go home - it's karma.
And then, we are left with a cliffhanger about some type of relic... Let's see what this means. They also teased that a legend will be defeated and I don't like the sound of that. I'm all for the vets and the only one that I don't like is Wes so, unless he's the one to go home, I don't like it.
Oh, I should also mention that there was a tiny drama with Jenna, Zach and Amanda because of a dating app. Anyway, what matters is that Jenna and Zach didn't break up because I really like them together. Also, Hunter was in kind of a fight too (with Leroy) but nothing really serious.
Anyway, I guess that's it for this episode.
Let me know all your thoughts on the episode and I'm sorry I didn't talk much about my hate for Amanda. You know, when I get started I can't stop so, don't even get me started.
I'll see you guys next week with a new The Challenge rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Flash | Season 5 Episode 14 - "Cause and XS"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
Yes, I'm late again, let's not talk about it and jump into the rant.
I need to point out something funny about this. The day that this episode aired was the same day that I went to the cinema to see Happy Death Day 2U (review on my YouTube channel, by the way) and, actually, I watched the episode right after I arrived home from the cinema so that was funny.
Anyway, this episode was all about re-living the same day over and over again (and see Nora fail every damn time) and I quite enjoyed it.
It all started with the fact that Barry had to go into the speed force in order to speed up the synthesizing process of the meta cure and so Nora was 'in charge' of keeping everyone saved, and that's where everything got screwed. Turns out, Cicada went after Iris (as expected, to be honest) and he kidnaps her. Iris is able to contact Nora and so she and Caitlin go to Iris' rescue. They arrive and that's when Cicada ends up killing Caitlin. Nora gets really anxious about the whole thing that she runs so fast that she turns back time, going back to the beginning of that same day.
Having another chance, Nora keeps Iris in STAR Labs this time but, instead of going after Iris, in this new timeline, Cicada kidnaps Ralph. You know, I'm really attached to Ralph (he's probably my favorite character on The Flash) and so seeing him getting kidnapped again really got to me. The scene played out just like last time but, instead of Caitlin, this time Ralph is the one that dies, which was so painful for me to watch (I remember last time. I was devastated when he died.). The thing is, I knew Nora was going to do it again so... It was fine but I really don't want to see Ralph die again. Thank You.
Nora keeps getting back and back and resetting the timeline but someone from Team Flash always gets killed. Before her final attempt, Cisco reveals what she has done, so she confesses and storms off. Cisco then goes to her to console her, which was something different, we haven't seen Cisco and Nora connect much so far so this was a nice touch which resulted in the both of them, alongside with the rest of the team, working on a plan to stop Cicada.
This time, they make it so that Cicada stabs himself with his dagger, forcing him to flee.
Barry returns, unaware of everything that happened, which was a pretty funny scene, and then has a serious talk with Nora where he warns her against messing with time any further.
In the very end of the episode we see that Sherloque finally decoded Nora's entire journal and so we are really close to see the Team finding out about Nora.
That was it for this episode. I'm really stoked about next one though because it's the King Shark vs Grodd episode and those are really good! Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait two weeks until the new episode so... It looks like for the next two weeks there will just be The Challenge posts (which is what I'm going to post next, in a few hours).
Let me know your thoughts on this episode and I'll see you in my next post!
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 13 - "Star City Slayer"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
As per usual, I'm late with this rant but let's move on and talk about Arrow!
First of all, no, I didn't get that banner wrong. We had a bit of a The Flash crossover in this episode (just that one bit, to be honest) and that's why I used that pic for the banner. Second, I'm not super thrilled about this week's episode. In fact, I'm pretty pissed and, for the first time like ever I really hated an Arrow episode. It was actually fine until the very end of it but the ending really screwed everything for me. But anyway, let's talk about how everything went down.
The episode actually begins with the members of Team Arrow receiving threatening notes and also discovering a similar note at the murder scene of a councilman who previously worked with Ricardo Diaz.
They discovered some type of immobilizing drug in this dead councilman and that's where they started looking for who the murder was. They end up discovering the hiding place of this murderer - the Star City Slayer - and, surprise surprise, it's Stanley! I have to say, I enjoyed this but, at the same time, I wish he would've been a bigger villain or even this season's villain (which we still don't have). From the preview for next episode, and how this one ended, Stanley might still come into place in all this mess but, for now, he's not the main villain.
Anyway, Stanley ends up cutting Dinah's throat but Curtis is able to cauterize the wound and so saving her life.
Post that, Stanley goes to his main target - Oliver. He goes to Oliver and Felicity's house, where they were having dinner with William (Oliver's famous chili) and immobilizes them with the same drug that he used in his other victims. He starts some bullshit speech about how much he cares about Oliver and on how he's the only one that really understands Oliver and... You really see that he has some type of mental problem. He also tells some things about his past and, to be quite honest, I kind of felt for him. I mean, he's a total psycho, but he doesn't really belong in prison but really in an asylum, like his brother said he wanted to put him in. Stanley actually mentioned Arkham Asylum and that was a nice reference.
Well, in the end, Oliver is able to subdue him and Stanley is sent back to Slabside (that's why I still think he might come back).
Throughout all this episode there was also a thing about William and him wanting a normal life. Yes, he was being a brat and actually Oliver called him out on that, which I really enjoyed but, in the end, Oliver realized that he can't ever give him a normal life so William goes to live with his grandparents (in Central City, by the way, which I thought was funny).
Besides William, someone else also left the city - Curtis. We kind of already knew that something was up with Curtis because he wasn't part of the tattoo thing and now we understood what happened. He got offered a job in DC and he took it, not liking what he was doing at ARGUS anymore. I'm sad to see Curtis go because I liked his character but at least he's not dead and he can always come back.
And, when someone leaves a new one comes so... In the very end of the episode we learn that Felicity is pregnant! Actually, I was thrilled about this! Who doesn't want an Oliver and Felicity baby?! I got really excited! Until I found out who's their daughter... freaking Blackstar aka Mia Smoak.
I was so pissed about that! In case you didn't know, I really didn't want Kat on Arrow. After seeing her on Shadowhunters you know how I feel about her acting so I really didn't want her in one of my favorite shows, but then I was okay with it because she was only part of the flash forwards and she was barely in the show so... It was fine. But now?! Finding out she's Felicity and Oliver's daughter?! It really pissed me off! I'm sorry to everyone who likes her, I like Kat as well, but I just think she's a bad actress and Mia as a character is also awful! Ugh, I'm going to stop now because I'm making myself really angry.
So, let me know what you thought about all this reveals and please tell me I'm not the only one feeling like this towards Mia and Kat and everything.
We're going to have to wait until March for a new episode so, I'll see you in my next The Flash rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 13 - "Lebanon"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
This week we had another achievement in terms of series! Not only it was Arrow's 150th episode, but it was also Supernatural's 300th episode, and it's about the later that I'm going to talk to you about in this post.
To be honest, I kind of failed with you in this episode. The truth is, I was doing something else during most of the episode and I just only payed attention for the last 20 minutes (needless to say that I didn't quite understand the whole thing). But it was fine because, right after it aired, I was able to watch it again and really understand everything that happen.
For this landmark, they decided to do something different from the last 'special episodes'. The last ones were about Fan-fiction or a musical, but this one they really focused on something really nostalgic and... I don't need to make this suspenseful, you already know what I'm talking about so they basically brought John back and it was huge! There wasn't really much, besides that, in this episode, but it meant a lot anyways (even if I never really liked John).
I loved how they were able to integrate this episode with the whole story and not just a special episode (kind of a filler). Basically they began with Sam and Dean finding a bunch of occult items from a pawn shop and keeping them for safety. In those occult items there was a cigar box containing the ghost of John Wayne Gacy (which gave us a really funny scene with Dean teasing Sam, you know, the usual) and a Chinese pearl that grants the holder's greatest wish, and that's where it connects to the whole plot. Sam and Dean think that the pearl might be a way to get Michael out of Dean's mind, since that's what Dean wants the most, but it doesn't go that way and instead, he summons John from 2003.
Of course the boys are thrilled in the beginning, they have their family all together (and the scene where Mary reunites with John was truly beautiful) but that's until they find out that, the removal of John from 2003, changes everything in their life creating a world where Sam runs a law firm and is internet famous, Dean is an wanted serial killer and Castiel is an unquestioning soldier of Heaven.
A whole confrontation with Castiel then happens and that's when the brothers realize that they really need to get things back in place. Of course they really don't want to but, eventually, they decide to do it - destroy the pearl and send John back to 2003 to prevent the new timeline from becoming a reality.
After an emotional goodbye, John is returned to his own timeline, leaving him thinking that the experience was only a dream.
Well and that was basically it for the episode.
Like I said, there wasn't much to it, but it was truly beautiful and emotional to have a 'kind of' happy episode and an happy ending (for now), and it was also a different way to celebrate this milestone.
Let me know what you thought of episode 300 and well, we now have to wait about a month for a new episode so, I'll see you in an Arrow or The Flash rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds | Season 33 Episode 1 - "Apocalypse Now"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
Oh My God, it's been so long since I've posted a The Challenge rant! I'm so happy the show is back and, from the looks of it, this might actually be the best season so far!
They said in the end of last season that the show was going to change or something and, so far, I don't see many changes, besides the challenges being more extreme (from the previews, at least). This first episode, thought, was exactly what I had in mind. I saw the trailers and I was expecting something crazy but, I should know better, because the first episode is a lot of introduction and not much 'game' and challenges but yeah... In the end, I enjoyed it and I'm pretty curious about all this new rookies.
So, the players were announced a few weeks ahead and, right away, it was quite something! Not only there's a bunch of new rookies, coming from all over the place - The Bachelor, Big Brother, Love Island, Survivor, American Ninja Warrior, Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach and Floribama Shore - but there's also a bunch of Veterans back that we haven't seen a while such as Wes and Nany! Obviously my only concern really was if Bananas was in this season and of course he is! So, you already know who I'm rooting for, no matter what. Besides Bananas, CT, Zach, Leroy, Jenna and Cara Maria are also back, so you know, I also want my girl Jenna to go far. I'm also really curious about some of the rookies, mainly a girl from American Ninja Warrior! ANW is a whole another level and so I predict she's going to go really far (I'm kinda bummed that she's paired with Paulie though, but I'll get into that in a bit).
We find out in this first episode, after all of them going into a challenge, that the vets are going to be paired with a rookie from the opposite sex and, right away, the vets think they are going to be the ones to choose but... TJ changed their plans and it was time for the rookies to pick who they wanted to be with, following the order that they finished the challenge. I'm not going to get into much detail, nor I'm going to mention all the teams but, to name a few, Bananas got paired with Morgan (who I don't really know, but we find out that she was a cheerleader or something and also that she won the Big Brother so... let's see), CT got paired with Julia (also a girl from Big Brother), Jenna was paired with Gus (I also should mention that Jenna was the last one to be picked) and Da'Vonne ended up with Bear, which is one of the teams that I'm most curious about. I know Bear from a few shows that air on MTV and he's really loud and funny and Da'Vonne is also a really strong woman so... I think they're going to be a fun team.
I don't know what else to say about this first episode because it didn't give us much more than that. We saw a few arguments (already) involving Ashley (the drama queen) and we also saw how Cara Maria is really vocal about her and Paulie being together and how much sex they have, which is going to get really annoying in the upcoming episodes if she keeps mentioning that much.
Anyway, this are my thoughts on the new The Challenge season. I can't wait to see what Bananas does this season, if he has any competition, and yeah, I'm also rooting for my girl Jenna!
Let me know what you thought of this new rookies, what you thought of the teams and who are you rooting for and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Flash | Season 5 Episode 13 - "Goldfaced"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
Here I am with a new The Flash episode, and what an episode! This week have been great so far with a really good Arrow episode and an amazing The Flash episode!
I really did enjoy this episode and, if you watched it, you already know why. This week's episode was basically the Ralph and Barry show and I'm all for it! I'm not going to say that this was a pairing I never knew I needed until now because that isn't exactly true. Ralph and Barry are probably my favorite characters in the show (followed my Caitlin) and I'm all for them working together, it just doesn't happen that often so I was really happy to find out/see that this episode was basically the two of them together throughout the whole episode.
So, as you can expect, there's not much I can talk to you about besides Ralph and Barry, but I'm going to do my best in covering other stuff that happened (oh, and just a side note, I just need to have registered here how good Ralph/Hartley looked in this episode! Damn! That all black outfit really suited him! I'm all here for bad Ralph and Barry!).
I'm just going to get it out of the way and say what I have to say about Ralph and Barry's story-line in this episode. Basically they had to get a device that would make the cure act quicker on Cicada because, what they have now, will take like a minute to 'kick in' and they won't be able to hold him for that long. So, in order to get that device, they had to infiltrate an weapons market (full of bad guys) and they had to impersonate bad guys (Ralph and Barry, I mean). Ralph got into character pretty quickly (maybe because he was a cop and then an investigator) but, as you could expect, Barry had a bit more trouble with being bad, which almost got them caught, but I guess he learned some things while he was Oliver in the crossover and it worked out (in the beginning).
Turns out, the device that they needed would cost a bit more - they had to help Goldface steal some other device, device which would go to an hospital. As you can imagine, neither Barry nor Ralph were really okay with doing this but they got along with it, for the time being. Arriving to the lab, Ralph decides that Barry doesn't have to compromise the hero that he is and just locks him in the van (which anti-meta cuffs). Well, when it gets to actually steal the device (a 3D printer) Ralph sees a flyer with kids pictures and... He backs off. I don't have to say much more - things go a bit sour but, in the end, both Ralph and Barry fight Goldface, without their powers, and it was just amazing!
Well, this was the main story of the episode but there were two others that were quite interesting. One of them was that Iris actually got inside Cicada's house and ended up talking to him pretending to be writing some other story. Of course she was caught but in the end, not only she was safe but she found another way to give Cicada the cure (since Ralph and Barry didn't get the device they needed).
The last story of the episode was between Nora and Sherloque, with Nora seeing that Sherloque is onto her and going to Eobard for help. He tells her the way to keep Sherloque from going after her is occupy him with something else - Love - and so she sets up something to get Sherloque a date, and it was a pretty funny sequence with us getting introduced to the other Sherloque's wives and seeing him falling for the same woman but just from this Earth. It was cute and funny.
And that was pretty much it for this episode. I was really happy with it and it looks like next week's episode is going to be good as well so... let's see.
Let me know what you thought on this episode and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 12 - "Emerald Archer"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys and welcome to a new week of rants!
We're starting in a good note with such an amazing episode of Arrow!
This episode was special for a lot of reasons! Not only it was pretty amazing, but it also was episode 150 of the show, which is a big landmark (and we are getting a few more episodes because CW just announced that Arrow was renewed for Season 8, which is amazing!). Because this was episode 150, they wanted it to feel different so this episode was in a documentary style, which was pretty dope! The episode wasn't actually all documentary style, which I thought it would be, but to be honest, I wish it would've been because I think it would make it even more interesting. Nonetheless, it was a pretty different and special episode with a lot to be happy about, one of them being the special appearances!
We had so many special guests in this episode! Because this was a documentary about Vigilantes, they talked with basically everyone that is related to Oliver so, not only Felicity, Diggle, Dinah and all the people that we have been seeing in the past seasons but also characters that have left quite some time ago such as Sara Lance, Thea and even Ragman, which we haven't seen in a long time! My favorite special appearance though was Barry (The Flash)! You know that I'm a sucker for Oliver and Barry together and, even though we didn't have them together in this episode, it was nice to have Barry be part of the Arrow (where he actually first appeared) as well as part of Oliver's documentary. This also made us see how different The Flash and Arrow are as shows, which I always appreciate.
William was also back for this episode and we are getting close to make sense of all the things that are happening in the Flash-Forwards. We see that William have been rebelling and that, actually, he was expelled from school (for what we don't know yet) and we also had a pretty interesting scene with William and Zoe, something that we haven't really seen before (just in flash-forwards) and where he kind of hints that he's gay.
Something that I really enjoyed about this episode were the Diggle and Oliver scenes. The truth is, they haven't been together much lately and they actually talk about that in the episode, where Diggle says that it's been basically a year since they've worked together. But this episode changed that and not only we saw Oliver and Diggle working together, but we also saw Team Arrow working all together, including Felicity, Rene and Curtis!
Obviously, because this wasn't just a documentary episode, we also had a bad guy that is going after vigilantes and that Team Arrow had to deal with.
Oh, I would also like to mention that I really liked Dinah in this episode! You know that I love Dinah but in the beginning of the season she wasn't really the Dinah that I liked but in this episode she got back to her old self and I really loved her during all this episode! And mainly in the ending when, after Team Arrow is caught (because vigilantism is still illegal) she basically says she will no longer be Captain if her friends go to prison (and Oliver basically does the same). That's when the Mayor tells them that, without them, she would've been dead so she's promoting all of them to work in the SCPD and yeah, that's basically it.
I really really liked this episode! Most of the time the episodes are just 'okay' but this one was really good and I'm so happy about that! Let me know your thoughts on this 150th episode and I'll see you tomorrow with a new The Flash rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 12 - "Prophet and Loss"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So, here I am with a new Supernatural rant.
I have to be honest with you, it's only been one day since I watched the episode and I can't really remember what happened so... That says quite a lot about what I thought of the episode. Overall, it was a nice episode but there was not much about it. The main issue of the episode ended just like I was expecting so... There wasn't much of a twist but okay, let's really get into it.
I'm going to start right away with the less interesting story of the episode which was Nick. In this episode he basically got out of the hospital where he was kept (in custody of the police) and went back to his old house where he got face to face with the ghost of his wife and, the thing is, he thought she was Lucifer and, in the end, he basically said that he prefers Lucifer to his wife so... That was basically it with Nick's story-line.
At the same time, Sam continues to attempt to talk Dean out of his plan while convincing him to take the case of a strange double murder. They then discover that 'the killer' is a 'soon to be prophet' due to Donatello's state (being in a coma). This killer - Tony Alvarez - says that he hears the voice of God and, when Sam and Dean tell him that he doesn't he kills himself.
To prevent further corruption of the Prophet line, the Winchesters and Castiel reluctantly decide that they must remove Donatello from life support and just let him die. That is, until they realize that Donatello's mind is trying to rebuild itself so Castiel goes into action and helps Donatello, waking him up well and no longer twisted.
And well, in the end, Sam is able to convince Dean to not go through with the plan (at least, not for now) and see if they can find another way. That's pretty much it.
Like I said, there wasn't much to this episode and that ending was pretty obvious like, were you really expecting to not see Dean for 8 more episodes? If Dean does go through with the plan, it will be like in the last episode and ending with a big cliffhanger. But, we do now know that Supernatural was already renewed for Season 15 so... Dean isn't going anywhere.
Well, let me know what you thoughts of this episode and what are your predictions for the rest of the season and I'll talk to you guys in my next rant.
Love,
Daniela.
