Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 20 - "Carry On"

Hello everybody!  

Here it is, the very final Supernatural rant. I would be lying if I said I was fine- I'm not. Not only it's so sad that I won't be reviewing this show anymore (my second favorite all time show) but also it's just sad that the show is ending. (I also really regret not watching this earlier because it has been like 4/5 years since I started watching it and I could and should have watched it sooner. But that's a conversation for another time). And well, not only I'm sad that I won't have any new episodes, I also wasn't exactly happy with how it all ended, which is the perfect transitions to move on to my actual review.

I said in my latest review that I had no idea where this was going (well, I had two options, which kind of both happened). I always had my predictions though, and I stand by them (I still believe my theory was better than what ended up happening) but they went on a completely different and not good direction.

The episode actually began with Sam and Dean adapting to their 'normal' life - like doing laundry and making the bed and all that stuff that we 'normal people' do - and they also show that Dean adopted the dog that we saw in the last episode. It was pretty cute and funny, with them even going to a Pie Festival, which was priceless. However, things that to turn dark, and they went very dark very quickly. They come across a strange murder and kidnapping that turned out to be vampires - a case that their father worked on in 1986 but was never able to solve. The Winchesters capture one of the vampires using the pattern that John had established and with that they also find their nest. One of the vampires is Jenny who the Winchesters had encountered on their first vampires case (which, to be completely honest with you, I really can't remember her). Well, needless to say that the brothers fight the vampires but that's when things take a dark tone. They do take out all of the vampires, but in the middles of the fight, Dean is impaled on a metal spike and there's no way back. He can't move and he's slowly dying. All that's left is saying everything he needs to say to Sam and... That's it. This is also when things start not making a lot of sense. One, Sam didn't even try to save Dean. I mean, he said he would get someone but as soon as Dean said that it was over for him, and asks Sam to not do any deals because that always ends badly, Sam just gives up and 'accepts' Dean's death. That just didn't make sense to me because in all the other 14 seasons this exact same thing happened and Sam (nor Dean) ever stopped trying to save his brother so... This was just odd (and messy writing).

The images that followed were some of the saddest ones ever! Sam, by himself (well, with the dog), mourning Dean and trying to get on with his life. And eventually he takes on a job by himself, which was so sad. 

Then, we move to Dean's point of view and we see him in Heaven, where he's reunited with Bobby who reveals that Jack reshaped Heave with Castiel's help. That was nice, not only because we knew there was some happiness for Dean but also this meant that Castiel is alive, not in The Empty, and is with Jack, which is also cute. Then... Cue the montage.

Dean drives off through Heaven in the Impala while we see the life that Sam had - having kids, having a family, growing old and dying of natural causes. And, the episode ends with Sam and Dean reunited in Heaven after Sam's death. 

As I said in the beginning, it was a really bittersweet ending. On one hand I understand why they went with this ending - it's what made sense for the characters. Dean always said that he wanted to go down fighting and hunting, and Sam always wanted a family, so this all made sense in that way. However, it bugged me that this happened this soon, that Dean died this soon and the way he died. Like, they were fighting God last episode and they defeated him, but a nest of vampires and a metal spike?! That was too much for Dean. I don't know, it just seems farfetched to me that the were able to defeat God and a day later be killed by something so random as a metal spike. I would go with another ending, to be honest, but if they really wanted to do it this way, they should've done two more episodes - this episode should have been episode 22, and episode 20 and 21 should've been about them going back to hunting and to their 'normal life' after defeating god. Then, after establishing that some time had passed, then could have killed one of them. Of course, I wished they would get old together and die of old age together, but in that case I would be 'better' with their deaths. I don't know... That's just my thought...

And I guess that's pretty much what I have to say about the finale. I kind of wish the previous episode was the last episode now, but okay... More than anything I'm more sad that the show is over and that I won't be watching a new episode every single week. Also, because of that, I'll have to choose another show to cover here so... I'll see which show I'm feeling and I'll ask you guys on twitter or Instagram which show should I cover here on the blog, so stay tuned to my social media. Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 19 - "Inherit the Earth"

Wow! Wow! I don't know how this rant is going to turn out because this was a lot to take in.

Hello everybody! Here we are with Supernatural's second to last episode.

Once again, I'm sorry I'm one day late with this rant. I had a lot to do and, to be honest, I needed some time to process that episode that really felt like the last episode of the series! I know that we have another one (which I'm going to react to on my YouTube channel so stay tuned for that) but this one was just an ending. It really was and now I'm kind of confused.

Well, usually I start with how the episode started and all of that but, this time, I just need to get all of this things out of my chest. There was so much going on in this episode and I don't even know where to start. From the preview we knew they were going to meet with someone and, because of that 'previously' in the beginning, I figured it was Michael (also because I saw Jake Abel's name on the credits) so that's who they went to meet. Then later Lucifer appeared out of no where and that really was a shock to me. A lot of stuff went down between Lucifer 'helping' Sam and Dean, showing up with a reaper, killing it in order for this reaper to become Death and read God's book of his death. Actually, that was a great plan, if if wasn't for the fact that he killed this new Death before she read everything because this was all a plan from God to get his book. Luckily (or not), Michael kills Lucifer and there's that. The book was left open, however, and so they started working on a way to translate it which ended up in them doing a spell which revealed Michael's betrayal when God appeared. That betrayal was for nothing though because then God killed him. With that, God had enough of the Winchesters and decided to just end them, but not before getting his hands dirty and punching them over and over. That was when the brothers revealed that all of this was part of their plan. They noticed what was going on with Jack (the thing about him killing plants) which turns out he was not killing things, he was 'capturing' their energy and, because of that, he was getting more powerful by the minute. With Michael killing Lucifer, Jack absorbed Lucifer's energy and later on, after God kills Michael he also absorbed Michael's energy and, if that wasn't enough, he absorbed God's energy from all the punching. All of this just made him super powerful - more powerful than God - and that was 'the end'. Jack absorbed all of God's power, leaving God just a regular human and Jack... Well, basically God. To that, Sam and Dean decided to not kill God and just leave him being a 'nobody'. Jack brought everyone back (the world) but we don't know anything about the people from the other world and we also don't know if he brought Castiel back. (and like that I just said everything about the episode)

The episode really ended with Jack disappearing because he's not God and the brothers going back to the bunker, having a toast to the people that they lost along the way, them getting into the Impala and driving into the sunset while a montage of all the other seasons played. And that really looked like a Season Finale.

After that, I was basically in denial. I know there's one episode left but this really felt like the end and I was not prepared. The whole thing also didn't play out like I thought it would. I always said that Sam would become God - guess I was wrong about that. And in my last rant I said that Dean would be Amara and Jack would be Death. Well, I don't think that's going to happen either. However, I do believe my ending would've been better. Not that I didn't like this episode/ending. It was as close to an happy ending as we would ever get, and I'm so proud of Jack. He's character arc is beautiful - this basically tells that, even if you come from a 'bad place' (being Lucifer's child), you're in control of yourself and your decisions and you don't need to be a bad person, you can over come it and now look - he's God. That was beautiful! But, in a way, it was easy. A lot happened in this episode but God's actual defeat was a bit anti-climatic so I have mixed feelings.

Also, there's a final episode. What is going to happen?! It looks like everything is dealt with so... I have two predictions. 1) Either the next episode is how they life went on, like growing old and whatnot or 2) this whole episode 19 was 'fake' and there's a big plot twist in the end. Also, the preview showed something with them leaving a set which automatically made me think that the show would end saying that this was all a show and 'none of that ever happened' (like the character's aren't real) which would suck, to be honest. Either way, I'm really curious to see how everything is going to end, even though I will be so sad.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 18 - "Despair"

Like, REALLY big spoilers ahead this time!

Hello everybody! I didn't know what I had ahead of me when I watched this episode and I had no idea that I would have to write something like this so soon!

That's right everybody. Three episodes away from the finale we loose our first Team Free Will member. I'm just going to rip the band-aid right away and say it - RIP Castiel. Yes, we lost Castiel this soon and, although we knew this would most likely happen, I was not prepared and I certainly didn't see this coming (at least, not in this episode). But, as per usual, I'm getting ahead of myself. There's a ton of stuff that happens in this episode so, let's start in the beginning.

So, you know how that last episode ended - with God leaving, Jack almost dying and the preview suggesting that Billie would be the new enemy to take out. Oh, how we were wrong! The episode starts right away with Billie appearing, taking take of Jack aka sending him to The Empty to explode there (the only place that could take that amount of energy and power). Then, Billie admits her plan and asks Sam for her book in exchange for bringing Jack back from The Empty. I was so not okay with this but Sam does indeed give her the book and yes, she brings Jack back. However, Jack is back to 'normal' and doesn't have his powers back. But even with that, Billie reads how God's death is going to be now that things changed and, for some reason, says that Jack can still help and tries to take him back with her, which, surprisingly, Dean says no and injures Death with her own scythe, forcing her to leave without Jack, the book or her scythe. Shortly after that, another problem rises - people from the Apocalypse World start disappearing.

Assuming that Death is the one behind this disappearances, Sam starts working with Charlie, Bobby, Donna and Jack to find a place and protect the people from that world while Dean and Castiel hunt Billie. When confronting Billie, Dean and Castiel are faced with something new - Billie tells them that she's not the one behind the vanishes but, instead, it is God. That's also when she reveals that when Dean injured her he didn't just do that - that wound is actually killing her and, as she's bound to die, the last thing she wants to do is kill Dean. So she chases Dean and Castiel and that's when Castiel realizes that Death is too strong and only The Empty can stop her. And that's when things get a bit bittersweet. 

Cas tells Dean about the deal that he made with The Empty and finally experiences a moment of true happiness when he reveals his feelings for Dean. That scene, for me, although it was so sentimental and really 'sad', it was also so corny and... Ugh, in the end, I didn't really like it because it was so obvious it was to please the Destiel shippers. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love their friendship but this was clearly to please the hardcore Destiel shippers and it's kind of bad how a show goes to those lengths just to please a group of people... I mean, I love when shows do something for the fans but this looks a bit too much. I don't know, it just felt off to me. 

Anyway, after that declaration, The Empty appears and absorbs both Billie and Castiel. That leaves Dean all alone mourning his friend. And, at the same time, all the people from the Apocalypse World, and not only them, disappear leaving Sam and Jack all alone. And with everyone gone, Sam, Dean and Jack are faced with the fact that they're all alone on this and only them can face God.

The ending, as well as the preview, are so stressful. I thought I had an idea where the show was going but I don't think I know anything anymore. I mean, I still stand by my prediction of Sam being God but I read another theory that complements my own which is, indeed, Sam will be God, but also Dean will be Amara aka the Darkness, Castiel the new Empty and Jack the new Death which, if we think about it, makes a lot of sense. One has already happened - Castiel 'died' and went to The Empty so that might come into play again, then we also see in this episode that Jack has some new power that makes things die so that really supports the idea of him becoming Death and then it's kind of obvious, and I've been saying this for awhile, Sam has always been the good one so he has to become God and then there can't be light without darkness and Dean has always been the 'darker' one so, I never thought about that but he can become the Darkness (Sam and Dean are also brothers, just like Chuck and Amara) and he can also stay on Earth and still fight monsters because, let's be honest, the show has to end with, at least, one of them still haunting. I don't know, I feel like that theory, which supports what I've been saying for a long time, is something that is nice and impactful at the same time and a great way to end the series.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 17 - "Unity"

Hello everybody!

I'm sorry I'm a bit late with this post but I didn't have time on Friday and you know, yesterday was Halloween so I was busy and celebrating the whole day. Also, I'm sorry if I forget some details of the episode. As I said, I watched it on Thursday and has been a few days. And so, with all the apologies said, let's get into the actual episode.

This week's episode was crazy! We knew this was going to be a big episode from the look of the preview but I was not expecting what it ended up being!

With God back on Earth, it's time for the last part of the plan - some type of trial that Jack has to do. In order to do that, he needs to meet with someone so it's road trip time. However, this time it's only Dean and Jack going while Sam stays behind looking for another way. Although that was right at the beginning of the episode, that was something so critical - Sam arguing with Dean that Jack can't die to which Dean responds saying that Jack isn't family. Not only that was so awful of Dean to say but also Jack heard that, which made me so sad and feel so sorry for him. And even with that, Jack went with Dean do this last task.

And because we're on that already, turns out that that last task leads them to Adam, the First Man, who is the true architect behind the plan to kill God. The test is none other than choose a rock that was touches by God which Jack passes and is rewarded by a rib from Adam, who explains that the power it contains will intertwine with Jack's soul and create a black hole that can suck anything divine, including Chuck and Amara.

At the same time, back in the bunker, Sam and Castiel are working on another plan in which they can save Jack. That's when they remember and find the key to Death's Library. Sam goes in there and, when he enters, he finds none other than the Empty, who reveals that Billie has actually been manipulating the whole situation in order for her to take over as God once Chuck and Amara are dead. Post that, Sam convinces the Empty that they are on the same side and to let him take Death's book on God's destruction. 

I forgot to say but there was another side story that was also happening - Chuck and Amara. With Earth being the last of God's worlds, Amara tries to show Chuck how good Earth is. However, she fails at that and so she traps him in the bunker so that the Winchesters can trap him for good. That's when Chuck reveals that this is another of his plans to get Sam and Dean to kill each other. With all of that, and being betrayed by the Winchesters, Amara allows Chuck to absorb her. At the same time, we see Sam and Dean argue again.

Dean is back with Jack and realizing that it's time, Jack absorbs Adam's rib, beginning the process of it intertwining with Jack's soul (and eventually killing Jack). They get into the bunker and that's when they're faced with Sam and Death's book and Sam saying that they can find another way but the process inside Jack has already began and that creates a whole 'fight' between the brothers where Dean even points out a gun at Sam. That was so shocking but, eventually, Sam is able to talk Dean down and that's when God appears to them.

The episode ends with Chuck fed up with the Winchesters, deciding that he no longer cares what happens and departs, leaving Jack in the middle of that whole process which ends up with him collapsing. 

That end was so unexpected! I mean, we knew the brothers wouldn't die, not in this episode at least but just 'giving up' in the whole defeating God story-line?! I was not expecting that and, from the looks of it, I'm assuming Billie (aka Death) will be the main villain for the remaining three episodes. Although that is surprising, I don't know if that's necessarily good. We have been so invested in this story to, suddenly, just give up on that and move to another one?! That kind of annoys me but... We'll see. Maybe that will be a good thing.

So, I guess that's pretty much it for this week's post. Let me know what you thought of this really surprising episode and how you feel about this sudden change. Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 16 - "Drag Me Away (From You)"

Hello people!

Back with a new Supernatural rant (almost at the end, but let's not talk about it just yet). Unfortunately, this wasn't as good as the previous one. Actually, this might have been one of the 'worst' episodes this season. Not that it was entirely bad, it just didn't live up to expectations.

With the show almost over, it's fair to say that we're all expecting things to start moving and, I'm sorry but things look pretty stuck right now. I mean, I get it. They're trying to pay homage to all the things that make the show great but we're 4 episodes away from the end and things need to pick up. Also, this episode had a mix of inspirations that had everything to be great but... It was just messy.

I'm just going to be straight with you and say that this episode reminded me a lot of The Haunting of Hill House, The Shining and It. For multiple reasons. The Haunting of Hill House because of the ghosts and the way they are presented (not getting into much detail in case you haven't seen the show yet), The Shining because of the motel, how it looked and even the key-chain of the rooms, and It because of the kid elements and, again, how the 'monster' acted. Post that, let's really talk about the events of this episode.

The episode actually begins with a flashback of young Sam and Dean checking into this motel where they befriend Caitlin and Travis. Long story short, there's a monster that has been abducting and killing kids (It reference) which Dean ends up killing.

Back in present day, we see Travis, older, checking into this motel and being attacked by a ghost, getting killed in the end. Finding out about this, and believing that the monster from years ago is back, Caitlin calls the Winchesters. At first the brothers don't believe her but they change their minds when the monster goes after them as well. Sam determines that they are dealing with Baba Yaga whose ring had been cut when Dean killed it but then Travis restored it, bringing the monster back to life.

Needless to say that the brothers take care of it, pretty quickly, actually, but that's not the end of the episode (luckily). At the same time all of this is happening, Dean receives a visit from Billie who reveals that Chuck is done destroying all the other worlds, which means he's going to be back to our Earth soon and then the final battle will begin. 

Post that, in the very end of the episode Dean comes clean to Sam and tells him about Jack dying in the end of it all and that was the reason why Castiel 'left' - looking for another way. The episode ends with Dean convinced that Billie's plan is the only way and Sam angry at Dean for not telling him the truth as well as the fact that Jack will have to die in order for them to kill Chuck. And if you know Sam you know that he's not okay with that.

It was a pretty sad way to end this episode - with the brothers fighting and basically being 'angry' at each other (more like Sam angry at Dean, to be honest). This is not the way we want this last few episodes to go so I just hope everything works out between them because I can't have the series ending with the brothers mad at each other (and with my predictions, them going separate ways not talking with each other). I'm fully prepared for the show to end with something sad, I just don't want one of them to die or something and things not being fine between them, that's all.

Anyway, although this wasn't my favorite episode, I still have faith and next episode looks interesting (me saying that with every preview) so... Yeah, let's hope the story picks up, because that's what I want to see.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 15 - "Gimme Shelter"

Hello everybody!

Back with a new Supernatural rant and, although this didn't develop the main story again (just like last episode) I feel like this one was a lot more enjoyable. 

This one followed a lot more Cas and Jack, while Sam and Dean took a bit of a backseat. What the brothers did in the episode is actually important for the main plot but this episode was really dedicated to Cas and even more to Jack - which we find out why by the end of the episode.

So, let's start with Sam and Dean's story-line because that's shorter and easier to explain. They basically go after Amara to kill her (I can't exactly remember why they need to do that but I'll just roll with it) and when they find her (or more like when she finds them) she tells the brothers that she and Chuck were actually conjoined twins and their separations was what caused the Big Bang. The Winchesters plan is to get Amara to think that they need her to lock Chuck which she says no to up until Dean confronts her about her bringing back Mary. She ends up kind of agreeing to help them so... That's the end of Dean and Sam's story for this episode.

As for Jack and Castiel they go investigate a murder that, turns out, it's just a 'normal' non-supernatural murder. But, with all that has been going on, Castiel agrees to keep on investigating this 'human case', which makes Jack very happy. And this dynamic was what made me love this episode so much. Jack has become an equal to Sam, Dean and Cas in the eyes of the fans and, I think I can talk for everyone, we always want a bit more of Jack. And an only Cas/Jack investigation was something that I didn't know I needed but I was very happy that I got it.

The murder part of this episode was very interesting because it was a mix of Saw - with some really gory scenes and interesting torture devices - and Seven - with the killer going after people that have sinned. Well, int he end, it is revealed that the killer is the pastor's daughter from the center that everyone that was killed attended.

With the case resolved, Cas and Jack head back to the bunker and that's when Jack drops a bomb not only on Cas but also on all of us - that Billie's spell is turning him into a bomb that will cause Chuck and Amara to die but it will also kill him (Jack). I mean, I'm not really surprised. Someone has to die in the end of the show and Jack would be a 'good one'. He's not Sam and Dean, which would make fans really sad, but he's loved almost as much as the brothers and will have the same emotional impact without making the fans angry, which would happen if any of the brothers die. Something must happen to them by the end of the show, I'm sure, but I don't think they'll die. Actually, I have a new addition to my theory - I always said that Sam is going to be the new God. Well, with all this Amara thing and finding out that they were twins and their separation created the Big Bag, I think Dean will be the new Darkness. Sam and Dean are brothers, Dean has always been the darkest/angrier one and Dean even said in this episode that he and Amara had a thing which, is true, but in this case I feel like it means something else. So yeah, that's my new theory - Sam is God and Dean the Darkness.

Anyway, the episode actually ends with Castiel going to find another way where Jack doesn't die but before he tells Dean that there's something he needs to know and... The episode just ends like that. I'm really curious to see what the next episode brings! We are really in the final stretch so... I just want this season to be worth it and have a fairly good ending.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 14 - "Last Holiday"

Hello people!

That's right, I'm back with my reviews and what better way to come back than with Supernatural!

I must say, it's a bit odd not only coming back writing after all this time but also writing for Supernatural. I have been writing, but mainly for The Challenge, which is a completely different show, and writing for a scripted show is a bit different. Also, the last Supernatural episode aired in March and this is still the same Season and the same story so it was a bit difficult to get the hang of it when this new episode started. Nonetheless, I'm so happy that one of my favorite shows is back and I'm so happy to be writing again.

This week's episode was a bit of a filler one, which makes me feel mixed emotions. On one hand we only have seven episodes left so they shouldn't be wasting time on filler episodes but, on the other hand, this episode was so cute and so wholesome and, in a way, the perfect episode for the 'come back'. I don't know... That's just how I feel. But anyway so, this episode follows basically the brothers (obviously) after having some plumbing issues in the bunker, pushing the 'reset' button and releasing a wood nymph named Mrs. Butters who used to serve the Men of Letters before they were wiped out by Abaddon. With Mrs. Butters in the picture, the work is so much easier and the Winchesters are able to, not only go on multiple successful hunts but also celebrate several holidays, and that's the part that makes this episode so wholesome. But, of course, things can't be that easy so something goes wrong and Jack finds a dark past of Mrs. Butters.

Jack finds out that the Men of Letters tortured Mrs. Butters so much that she started seeing the threats only as good or bad and, perceiving Jack as a threat to the boys, she locks him up and tries to get Dean to kill Jack. However, Dean doesn't do it so he ends up locked with Jack. Post that, she goes to Sam but, of course, he doesn't want to kill Jack either so she tortures him, which make for some pretty gruesome and gory scenes which, personally, I loved (I was just kind of surprised they did that for a PG show and one that airs on prime-time).

Dean and Jack break out and convince Mrs. Butters that she is wrong and was only used by the Men of Letters, which makes her stand down. Post that, Mrs. Butters go back to the woods, where she belonged and the episode ends in a pretty nice note with Dean throwing Jack a birthday party and making in a cake, which wasn't the best but was so adorable and, again, so wholesome. 

As I said, this episode is pretty much a filler, but I guess we needed this so, I'm not that mad that the story didn't develop. And I mean, that's what we think, maybe this is important to the story, who knows...

Anyway, so this are my thoughts on the new Supernatural episode. I'm sorry if I my thoughts were a bit spread out and not really coherent but I'm getting back to writing so, I'll get the hang of it, I promise, just give me a break this time.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 13 - "Destiny's Child"

Hello people!

So, I guess this is going to be the last Supernatural rant for a while. That's right, not only The Flash but also Supernatural is taking some time off because of the coronavirus. However, unlike The Flash, Supernatural's time off is undetermined. Turns out they did film all the episodes up to episode 18 (only two episodes left to film) but this last episodes that they filmed still have some post-production to be done and the studios are closed so they can't do that. So, for now, let's talk about this last episode.

I must say, this episode wasn't what I was expecting at all! I really thought this was going to be one of those fun goofy episodes and it wasn't. I mean, the moments were there but there was actually some story development and I appreciate that.

The episode begins with Billie warning the brothers that Chuck is almost done destroying the other worlds, which means pretty soon he will get to theirs. Post that, Billie sends them on a quest for the Occultum. And the thing is, they have no idea what this object is and what it is supposed to do. Nonetheless, they go after it and they get to Anael, who reveals that she gave it to Ruby before she died and tells them that Ruby hid it in Hell. This makes the brothers go to Hell but pretty soon discover that it was a trap when demons, sent by Anael, try to kill them.

While the brothers are in Hell, Castiel tries something else to find this Occultum. And so, he has Jack send him to the Empty in order to talk to Ruby. The Empty allows him to do so and, in exchange for her to be free, Ruby tells Castiel where the Occultum is.

After that, that's when the fun comes into place. To keep God from knowing what they are up to, the Winchesters rescue a pair of alternate Sam and Dean and have them pose as the real ones. This was where the fun parts of the preview happened and it was, indeed, pretty funny, but I believe most of it was in that preview so... I was kind of sad.

Anyway so they go to that place where the Occultum is and are met with hell-hounds guarding the place. I must say, that was a really good throwback and added a nice touch to the episode. Anyway so the Occultum transports Jack to the Garden of Eden where he meets a young girl and a snake. Something happens to him (we don't exactly know what) but, somehow, when he gets back to Earth, we are met with a different Jack. I mean, not completely, but one with his soul back. That was such a huge an touching moment and I'm so happy we have our 'old' Jack back. I still loved Jack but having him be the softie that he was is really nice.

And well, I guess that's pretty much it for this episode. It's really bittersweet because things are starting to get somewhere now and we have to stop and we don't really know for how long. At least there's other series to watch so check out my The Flash and The Sinner rants next week.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 12 - "Galaxy Brain"

Hello people!

So, another series is back (and I know I still have one The Flash episode to review) - this time Supernatural! I must say, with how the last episode ended and with how this season has been so far, I was really excited about this episode! Unfortunately, it wasn't what I was expecting.

I felt like this episode was a waste of an episode, in my opinion. I get that they're trying to tie up loose ends, but the Kaia story-line wasn't that interesting to me (I didn't even remember it until this episode) and besides, I feel like Kaya was mainly part of the Wayward Sisters spin-off that ended up not being picked up. Maybe this episode is trying to get series come back to life and maybe, this time, getting picked up but, apart from that, I don't really see a reason for them to get back to the Kaia story-line.

But anyway so, apart from all that, I feel like this episode also showed that God is not wasting time anymore and, from now on, he's focusing on the Winchesters and the Winchesters alone. He basically even says that in the beginning of the episode when he decides to end all the Earths that he created, leaving only the OG Earth, the one with our Sam and Dean, alive.

Then, we move to the Kaia story. Again, as I said, I didn't care much about that so I'm just going to summarize. Basically the Earth 2 Kaia wants the Winchesters to keep their promise - the spear in exchange for her to go back to her Earth. That can't happen right now because Jack can't open a riff otherwise God will know that he's alive. That raises a whole another plot where the Winchesters get help from a Reaper named Merle to hide them from God (and from Billy) in order for Jack to use his power. So they do that and Kaia goes back to her Earth and they bring back the OG Kaia who is still alive. That whole thing was fine but, once again, not that important to me.

What I did like was what happened next. And when I say liked I mean I was shocked. So Billy finds out about Jack using his powers and so she kills Merle, because she didn't do her duty on keeping Jack on check. Then, she tells the Winchesters that they all have a role in this kill God plan and they must stick to it. Billie also reveals that there's a book on God's death and that both the Winchesters and Jack play a crucial part in it, but she doesn't reveal more.

And that's basically it.

I don't want to repeat myself but the truth is, I really feel like this episode was wasted. I want to see more of that plan and I want to see more of Jack and Sam and Dean, not other side characters that don't really matter right now. 

Next episode looks like it's one of those fun ones. At least that. If you're not going to make the story go forward, at least make some OG Supernatural episodes where they're just 'crazy' and fun, so I'm looking forward to that next episode.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 11 - "The Gamblers"

Hello again!

Well, I go from a pretty down rant (arrow) to a super exciting one (for now). I take back what I said about this episode in my last Supernatural rant. This episode was so good! I don't know if it was better than the previous one, but for sure it was equally good.

Last week's episode relied a lot on the funny stuff and just honoring previous episodes/seasons while this week's episode made the story move forward, which I always appreciate. Of course, they had to, since this was the Mid-Season Finale and next episode will only air in March... But let's get back to the episode.

So, as expected, we follow the brothers to Alaska, looking for the place Garth told them about. Turns out, this magical place is a bar where people bet their luck in games of pool. Well, Dean being the cocky son of a b*tch that he is, is super thrilled about the pool, as he's amazing at it. And, in the beginning, everything goes well, but of course, they start noticing something is wrong about the place (well, Sam does which just shows the type of person that he is) and they soon find out that the place is run by the pagan goddess Fortuna who later explains that she's actually pissed at God as well. And, although Sam and Dean loose against her, she chooses to restore their luck anyway after impressing her and showing that they are true heroes. I don't know about you, but I feel like there's a lot of hints throughout this season to how the series will end and, so far, I stick to my initial prediction - the brothers winning, killing God and Sam replacing him. 

But anyway, this episode wasn't just about the brothers. Oh no, we got Jack back! They addressed it in episode 9, in the very end, but I thought it would take some time to actually have him be part of the story but I guess I was wrong. This was a really nice surprise and I loved that they had a side story in this episode not only with Jack but with Cas as well. That's right, Cas is the one that learns out about Jack and he is also the one that finds him. Castiel finds out that Jack is targeting Grigori (which I did not remember them) who are fallen angels that feed on innocent souls and well... Jack kills them and eats their hearts.

After finding him, Cas takes Jack back to the bunker and that's when we have our family back together again! Really, that was such a nice moment, Sam and Dean finding Jack and alive and hugging him and everything... It was really cute. 

And then, in the end, Jack explains that Billie kept him hidden in the Empty, waiting for God to leave to resurrect him. He also tells them that Billie has a plan and that he's being following her plan which, if he keeps following it, he will be strong enough to kill God - which makes my prediction even stronger. I saw people saying that Jack will replace God but... I don't thin so. I think Jack will be the one to kill him but someone will have to replace God and I'm pretty sure it will be Sam. There's no way the series will end with both brothers alive and well. There's just no way. And, to be honest, the better way is to have Sam be God and just visit Dean every time he wants to. Or, Dean can die and Sam will be God and they can both be in Heaven. That would look weirdly similar to Arrow's ending but well, that's a possibility. Personally, I would rather have Sam be God and Dean be alive... And probably Jack will die in the end. I don't know about that last bit, but someone has to die.

Anyway, this are my thoughts on the episode and my predictions for the finale. I know there's still a few episodes left but we can keep theorizing.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 10 - "The Heroes' Journey"

Hello everybody!

I'm back with a new rant so let's talk about Supernatural's new episode.

This episode was exactly what I was expecting - so much fun! And, where usually I like to be surprised, this time I was so happy that this was what I thought it would be. This reminded me a lot of some previous episodes, episodes from the early seasons of Supernatural so, of course, I loved that.

The beginning was a bit odd. It looked like nothing that happened in the last episode happened, but pretty soon they explain what is going on such as Castiel going to Heaven to ask for help and try to find Chuck. At the same time, the brothers get a call from Garth asking for help, and that's when the troubles begin. But, this time, not your usual problems. We are so used to Sam and Dean having some weird ass problems, with witches or curses or other monster but, this time, they are having some other type of problems - normal people issues, such as cavities, getting sick and car trouble. In this case, this were some weird problems. It was so weird see them deal with going to the dentist, or just not be able to pick a lock. But at the same time, that was what made this episode so much fun! And it was actually Garth that 'kind of' resolved their problem - he suggests that because they were the heroes of God's story, now that they pissed him off, God downgraded them back to normal people, which is an interesting concept, something that only Supernatural could pull off.

But, even as 'normal people', they helped Garth with his problem - Bess's cousin Brad being attacked by a Wraith. Brad explains that he was attempting to make money in an underground monster fight club which the Winchesters see right away as a problem and try to shut it down. However, the Winchesters now being normal people, obviously it goes south and they are captured to fight against a massive Vampire. Luckily, they had Garth, who rescues the Winchesters, blows up the fight club and kills the vampire, which leads to Dean saying that, this time, Garth was the Hero of this story.

And well, in the end, Garth tells them about a place where they could get their regular abilities, and so, that's where the Winchesters decide to go, as they could not defeat God as normal people.

As I said, this was so much fun and I loved to have Garth back. Garth is one of my favorite characters, I just love his softness. Even without Cas or Jack, this was amazing and I can't wait to see what Sam and Dean will face in this 'magical place' in Alaska, which is going to be the next episode. I doubt it would be as good as this one but, we'll see.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 9 - "The Trap"

Hello people!

Well, I'm sorry I'm posting this a day late but you know the drill. I was busy with something else... Anyway, that doesn't matter. What matters is that there's a new Supernatural episode and it was freaking amazing!

This episode of Supernatural was so much better than the end of Crisis. Not that I should comparing the two, but they are both series that I love deeply and Crisis was something that I was really looking forward to and, in the end, just one episode of Supernatural was better. But anyway, let's properly talk about the episode.

If you really think about it, this episode dragged a bit. The Chuck/Sam part of the episode, really didn't give us much, but still, it was so damn entertaining that we didn't feel like it was dragging. It's amazing, really! And starting with that story-line, it was revealed that Sam bringing Eileen back to life was Chuck's plan all along (what isn't? I mean, he's God, he's writing everything so I don't know why we didn't think that before). And then, the remaining of the episode, as far as that story-line go, it was just Chuck showing Sam what will happen if they defeat him, which obviously doesn't end well. There's actually a lot of interesting things in what Chuck shows Sam, one of them being that Sam and Dean end up turning into Vampires and killing Jody in the end. I mean, that's something that I really don't want to see in the end, like when the show ends, but wouldn't it be interesting if they were showing us how the series will end? That would be kind of cool, even if I don't like that ending. Also, seeing Dean as a Vampire was way too funny and I couldn't take him seriously.

At the same time Sam is seeing this, Dean and Castiel return to Purgatory in search of a Leviathan Blossom, which they learn sprouts when a Leviathan dies. And again, of course something has to happen and the two are ambushed by Leviathans working for a vengeful Eve. Still, in the end, they manage to 'win' and return with the blossom. Also, I think it's important to mention and Castiel and Dean finally make amends. It was a pretty touching scene, when Castiel just 'vanishes' and Dean wakes up and can't find him. Because of that, he prays to Castiel and apologizes for everything, and he even cries! It was really cute, and it was about time!

Back from Purgatory, Dean and Cas worry on the spell to defeat God but, when they arrive to the place where Chuck has Sam, Sam refuses to complete the spell, after seeing what might happen if they defeat Chuck and, because of that, Chuck regains his full power back and Sam's wound heals. In the end it is revealed that he wound was there because Sam still had hope, but after what Chuck showed him, he lost his hope and God became powerful again.

I felt really bad for Sam in that moment. Basically they «lost» because of him, but it was so nice to see Dean support Sam after that. And straight away they decided they had to come up with another plan and... That's when two of the most exciting things of the episode happen! One, Sam and Eileen finally kissed! Yes! I know Supernatural is not made of ships but I truly ship Sam and Eileen and I was so happy to see that finally happening. Sure, after that Eileen left, having doubts about what was real and what was not (about Sam's feelings, mainly) but still, it was such a nice moment and I hope Sam gets somehow a happy ending.

But then, something that I've been waiting for for so long happened - Jack! Yes, in the very end, in the Empty, Billie tells Jack that "its time" and the episode ends. It was just a few seconds but it got so hyped for the next episodes!

Next episode is going to be 'kind of' a filler one, but from the preview it looks like it's going to be a fun one, with Dean and Sam having 'normal people problems' and that sounds to me like a really funny episode, can't wait for that!

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 8 - "Our Father, Who Aren't in Heaven"

Hello people!

I'm sorry I'm kind of late with this review. I'm going to be completely honest, I forgot about it on Friday because I was really busy and yesterday I just couldn't post so yeah, I hope you're not too mad with him. Plus, this is the Mid-season finale so it's kind of okay if I don't post it on time. It's kind of a bummer though because I loved this episode! I haven't felt this happy with a Supernatural episode in a long time and I'm really thrilled with how this one turned out.

I think I can say that we got pretty much all that we wanted in this episode - Team Free-Will together, Adam/Michael and, the biggest surprise of all (but not really) Rowena as Queen of Hell! It was an hell of an episode (no pun intended) and I'm pretty excited to talk about it.

The episode starts right away with something that we haven't seen in a while - Dean hopeful and ready to defeat God. And in order to do that Dean starts digging and comes up with something - the Demon Tablet, who he thinks might have some clues on how to lock him up. For that they contact Donatello so he can decode the tablet (again) and tell them what they need to do. Donatello discovers from Metatron's notes that God as a fear that only his favorite knows - Michael. Learning about that, the Winchesters and Castiel travel into Hell where they learn that Rowena has become the new Queen of Hell. I can't say that this was a big surprise because some people theorized that this would happen but still, it has been some episodes since she 'died' so I guess we kind of forget about it so, in a way, it was a surprise. But most of all, it just left me really happy - not only because she's still 'alive' but also because Rowena finally got what she really wanted/deserved, to be a Queen. It was the right thing to happen to her and even herself says that in the episode.

Anyway, Rowena's demons discover that Michael is no longer in Hell and that's when we see Michael sharing control of his body with Adam (or should I say Adam's body). We also see Lilith approaching Michael who instantly kills her after she tries to take him to God. That was kind of a bummer because I was liking this Lilith, but in the end, it's one less 'bad guy' for the boys to worry about.

Well, Lilith wasn't able to take Michael to God but our boys are able to capture him. They attempt to convince him to help them with the assistance of Adam, but the archangel refuses to hear them out. Instead, Castiel shows him God's many betrayals including the war with the Darkness, the alternate reality Michael and the murder of Jack (who I'm still waiting to come back).

Completely disillusioned, Michael reveals that God can be trapped and provides them with the spell to do it. However, of course, there's a catch - the spell requires a flower that only exists in Purgatory and Michael opens a twelve-hour rift so they can go there and get it. Post that, Michael leaves, refusing to help them.

At the same time, another hunter seeks Eileen's help with a vampire case and Sam accompanies her when things go wrong. And, of course, it isn't really a case and it is, instead, a trap set by God. And that's how the episode ends.

As I said before, this was such a good episode! Not only with great moments but with so much plot details and an episode that truly felt like kept the story going. Sometimes you like episodes that the truth is, they don't add anything to the overall plot. Well, this isn't the case and, for once, it looks like we are going somewhere. Of course, things will most likely go wrong in the next episode, with Dean and Cas going to Purgatory and Sam getting trapped by God. This doesn't look good but we'll see.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 7 - "Last Call"

Hello guys!

Supernatural is back for a couple more episodes before the winter break and I'm here to talk about them.

This week's episode was a pretty good one. I don't think it was as good as the last one because that one was crazy, but this one is still up there. For once, we see the boys deal with stuff separately (which is something that hasn't happen for a while) and that comes with not only a lot of fun but also a lot of danger so let's dive into that.

After 'kind of' a break last episode, this time Dean is the one looking for a case, where Sam is having fun with Eileen. After finding a case, Dean decides to go look but he sees Sam so happy with Eileen that he decides to not tell him and just goes handle it by himself. 

So, Dean heads to Texas where he then runs into an old friend, Lee Webb, who he used to hunt with alongside his dad. This little encounter made for a good musical scene where we saw Jensen singing for real. I mean, I'm pretty sure the intent for this whole episode was just that musical scene but I'm not mad about it because it was pretty good. Who I'm mad about is Lee. Yes, as expected, turns out that the 'monster' behind the case that Dean was looking into is Lee, who have been kidnapping and feeding people to a creature in exchange for riches and health. Lee explains that after a particularly bad hunt, he realized that the world is a bad place and that he should just basically give up and enjoy himself which, obviously, Dean disagrees. That also came with some pretty good lines, in true Supernatural fashion. In the end, Dean kills not only the creature but also Lee, who's really the 'monster' behind all of this.

At the same time, back in the bunker, Castiel comes back (in a really bad time, when something was about to happen between Sam and Eileen) and suggests exploring Sam's link with God to learn more. Sam agrees to but, of course, it goes wrong and Sam is left unconscious. With no other alternative, Castiel calls in shaman Sergei (which I was not expecting at all) who helps after Castiel threatens his niece. This was a weak plot point, in my opinion, but I let it slide. 

Dean then returns to the bunker and that's when Sam reveals that he has seen into God's memories and learned that God is weak, which makes them confident that they can beat him.

As I said, it was a fun episode, but not as strong as the previous one or as strong as others this season. But, from the preview, the next one looks pretty strong! We're getting Adam back, which is someone that I was highly looking forward to see come back so, I'm excited! Also, I need to mention this again - I miss Jack and I just can't wait to have him back as well.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 5 - "Proverbs 17:3"

Hello guys!

Final rant of the week.

This week's Supernatural episode was disguised as a case of the week. I say disguised because there was so much more to this episode. I was shocked! Seriously, I thought I was in for something and then they just switched to something completely different and, you know what? I'm so glad they did! Don't get me wrong, I love the 'case of the week' type of episode, but this is the final season so they have to step it up a notch and they did exactly that with this episode.

Once again, the episode opens with another of Sam's nightmare, following by a case of five strange deaths in Colorado, which they pretty soon learn are from werewolves.

The werewolves, brothers Andy and Josh, kidnap the last survivor of their attacks after Dean unexpectedly falls sleep. This whole thing was really sketchy since the beginning. As Sam said in the episode, it was too easy. They discovered it was werewolves, they had a survivor who clearly saw the attackers, they found them right away... It was way too easy and since they got to the girl I knew something was up, I just didn't know what.

But anyway, after the kidnapping, luckily, Dean and Sam know who are the werewolves and pretty soon they get to their cabin. There's a fight, of course, and in the end, Andy, who hates what they are doing, kills his brother and then kills himself.

By this time it was only the middle of the episode so of course there had to be a twist.

Turns out the girl the Winchesters were protecting was Lilith, resurrected by God from the Empty and in search of the gun that Sam used to kill God. Of course the brothers don't want to give her the gun but, this time, she's not as nice and she's still pretty powerful so she paralyzes them and finds the gun which she immediately destroys. After that she reveals that God's intended endgame is for the Winchesters to kill each other and that's when Sam makes the connection. 

After arriving in the bunker, Sam tells Dean about the nightmares and says that they might be God's possible endings and that she's seeing them because of the link created when he shot God. 

The episode ends with the brothers lost because the thought they had been free from God and, after all, he's still writing their story.

To be completely honest, I have no idea how the boys are going to get out of this. All I know is that they're going to need as much help as they can get, and that might possible include Lucifer, who knows. Either way, this season is looking pretty good and, my only complain right now is the lack of Jack and Castiel. I just want those two back and I'm happy.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 4 - "Atomic Monsters"

Hello people!

After one week off, Supernatural is back with a pretty good episode! It was a 'case of the week' type of episode but with a few more things. After all, they can't just waste time with a 'simple' case of the week episode. With the series ending, there's so many things to wrap up that they can't waste an episode. Still, it pretty much felt like a 'case of the week' episode.

This is where the true predictions are going to start because, apart from Sam and Dean, there was also kind of a lot of God (aka Chuck) in the episode and he brought some pretty interesting stuff that might 'help' us come up with some theories. Personally I don't have any (for now) but we'll see.

The episode begins with Sam having a nightmare where he, under the influence of demon blood, appears to be leading several demons and kills a bunch of hunters, including Dean. Luckily it was only a nightmare and when he wakes up, Dean presents him a new case - a cheerleader, Suzie, who was apparently killed by vampires.

It's nothing new that our boys can work around things and so, obviously, they find out who's responsible for the murder - and everything leads to Billy's family (Suzie's boyfriend). Of course, they try to trick us but, at this point, we already are experts and we knew if couldn't be the parents - Billy was the vampire and he killed Suzie by accident when he lost control of his blood lust. This last moment with Billy was actually pretty sad, with him taking the blame for everything and agreeing to go with the Winchesters to, of course, be killed. 

At the same time this is happening with the brothers, God visits Becky Rosen, in search for a purpose. This gives us so many details on who Becky is right now and I had completely forgotten that she doesn't know Chuck is God. And, because she doesn't know, she tells Chuck that he should keep writing - and so he does. However, when Becky goes to read his ending for the Winchesters she's horrified and, for her, this is 'only' a story, but we know that he's God and so that means this story is most likely becoming true and now I'm afraid. I've always been afraid - I know how Vampire Diaries ended - and I'm sensing a similar ending which, I liked, but was extremely sad.

But anyway, this isn't really the end of the episode. 

The episode ends with Chuck making Becky and her family vanish and beginning to prepare his plan to bring the Winchesters to a dark end - which is the series finally, most likely.

My prediction for now is that one of the brothers is going to die, for sure! And TVD is any indication (not that it's made by the same producers or anything, it just has similar themes and has been on the CW for a long time), I'm pretty sure one of the brothers is going to sacrifice himself for the other. I don't know, but I have a feeling that's what's going to happen and mostly likely Dean is the one to die. They're setting up to look like Sam is the one to die, but I doubt that. Also, Dean is my favorite and on TVD my favorite died (not mentioning who because you might not know) so... I don't know.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 3 - "The Rupture"

Hello everyone.

So... How are you all holding up?

This was an insanely intense and crazy episode! I was not prepared! I have to say, after years watching this show I've picked up some hints and I could tell that something was about to happen because of the stuff that they mentioned in the 'Then' but I certainly wasn't ready. And mainly because this is only episode 3 and we already have 3 major deaths. Yes, that's right, if you didn't watch the episode this is one that I urge you to watch before reading this review because this will have major spoilers!

I thought, how the last one ended, that they would be fine with the barrier but... I guess I was wrong, because this episode started right away with Rowena trying a spell to strengthen the barrier but discovering that it is already too weak and there's nothing she can do. But, this is the beginning of the episode so you know they will come up with something else. In this case it is Belphegor that offers a solution. Basically all they have to do is retrieve Lilith's crook from Hell and use it to draw in all of the ghosts while Rowena and Sam perform a spell to close the rupture. As they work on that that's when we get introduced to Ardat. I actually didn't think we would get to know her this soon in the season but everything is happening so fast this time so I don't know what to expect anymore. 

Anyway, that's when we meet her that we have our first death - Ketch. That's right, I wasn't prepared for it and, surprisingly, I was upset. I used to hate him and now I'm actually sad that he died so... Things do really change.

Ardat kills Ketch and goes after Belphegor. She finds him and Castiel in Hell and that's when she reveals that Belphegor is using the Winchesters to gain power in Hell for himself. Belphegor kills Ardat and starts drawing the souls to himself but that's when Castiel gets enough of him (Belphegor) and kills him for good, destroying the crook in the process as well as Jack's body. And here we get our second death. It's not major major but it means that Jack won't have a body in case he comes back (which I'm pretty sure he will). I don't know how they're going to work around that but Alex was promoted to a series regular so he's for sure coming back so... I'm curious to see how that's going to happen.

Well, with no other way to close the rupture, Rowena decides to use a spell that requires a sacrifice of her own life to draw the souls into herself and then go to Hell. This means that Sam has to be the one to actually kill her since that's how her fate is written. Reluctantly Sam does so and the everything works as planned - the souls are drawn to Rowena and she falls into the rupture, into Hell and the rupture is closed and Rowena is dead - third death of the episode. It was pretty sad but at the same time gave Rowena such a good complete ending that I'm not that mad. I mean, maybe we will see her in Hell but, as far as we know, she's dead but she died a hero!

But it doesn't end there. As we see the Winchesters devastated by the deaths of Ketch and Rowena, Dean snaps at Cas and tells hims that it was all his fault for killing Belphegor and being irresponsible. Realizing that Dean still resents him, Cas decides to leave since he's getting weaker and that there's nothing more for him to do... It was a pretty sad ending and, from the preview, it looks like we're getting a 'case of the week' next episode which, by the way, isn't next week - only November 7. Also, I just realized that next episode is going to be directed by Jensen Ackles so, I'm curious.

And well, that's pretty much it. Sad episode, which makes me afraid for how the series is going to end. I'm prepared to have one of the brothers die, to be honest, but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 2 - "Raising Hell"

Hello everyone!

Thanks for bearing with me on this late posts. I now know that I already have one more The Flash and Arrow rants to post, and hopefully they will be up today, but I can't promise you anything so if not today, tomorrow they will be for sure! 

But let's talk about Supernatural's latest episode.

I have to say that I wasn't that impressed. I loved the first episode of the season but this one, as much as I loved all the comebacks, I felt like the story wasn't really there. Maybe it was just me that wasn't in the 'mood' when I watched but that's what I felt.

This episode was a pretty straight forward continuation of the last one - with trying to keep people out of the 'danger zone' as well as trying to keep the ghosts inside the barrier as it starts to weaken. 

We meet a 'new' ghost - Francis Tumblety - better know as Jack, the Ripper, who leads the ghosts onto plotting a way to escape the barrier zone.

As the ghosts plan their escapes, the Winchester work on a way to permanently contain the ghosts and that's when Rowena comes in - working on a spell to try to do so. Basically at the same time we see Rowena 'come back' we also get Ketch back who reveals he was hired by a demon named Ardat to kill Belphegor. But the surprises weren't over. After Rowena and Ketch, Sam and Dean also receive help from Kevin Tran, who lets them know that he didn't go to Heaven when he died - instead, Chuck sent him to Hell. 

A few things happen in the episode but the only thing that was truly memorable to me was Rowena and Ketch's flirt moments. It was pretty funny and I guess it's just basically part of Rowena's character now - to flirt with a bunch of characters that we know.

Well, in the end, they manage to contain the ghosts inside the crystal but pretty soon a bunch more raised from Hell so... It's clearly not over. Also, unfortunately, we say goodbye to Kevin pretty quickly as he decides not to go back to Hell and wonder the Earth as a ghost.

There was something else quite interesting about the episode, though. At the same time this was happening to the Winchesters, we see Chuck visiting Amara in Reno, Nevada (and we get another special guest). Chuck is revealed to have been severely injured and diminished when Sam shot him and Amara, seeing that her brother hasn't changed and is still the narcissistic being he always was, refuses to help and abandons him on Earth (since he can't leave). 

It's going to be interesting to see where this goes so... I'm curious. It wasn't my favorite episode, but I still can't wait to see more of this whole thing.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 1 - "Back and to the Future"

Hello guys and Welcome to the beginning of the end.

That's right, Supernatural is back with it's final season and it gives you a bittersweet feeling. I'm super stoked that one of my favorite series is back but, at the same time, you just can't get out of your mind that this will be the last season and that just puts you down right away. I'm sure it hit me harder because it's the first episode and, as soon as the season starts to picks up, I will forget about it and I'll only be reminded once it gets to the final three episodes.

But anyway, I'm here to talk about the final season premiere and that's what we're going to do.

The season picks up right where the last one ended and we see the Winchesters and Castiel barricade themselves inside a mausoleum in an attempt to get away from the 'zombies' outside (irony because their dad is in The Walking Dead, I just can't help but find that kind of funny). 

For a moment I had completely forgotten that Jack had died but that was short-lived (kind of). Jack did not exactly got back to life but he was possessed by the demon Belphegor who, I might tell you already, I'm starting to be a big fan of. It's weird to see Alex play anyone other than Jack (even if I did see him before on Arrow playing another character) but this demon is so damn funny and Alex does an amazing job portraying him so, as much as I love Jack and I want him back, I'm fine with having Alex play this demon for a while.

Anyway so Belphegor offers to help blasting the souls out of the reanimated corpses and that's what he does. After that, they realize what they really are up against this season - all the souls and creatures that they sent to hell throughout the years so they come up with a plan to keep all the ghosts in one town and evacuate all the people in that town.

At the same time they do that, some familiar ghosts appear and attack our heroes - Constance Welch (the woman in white), John Wayne Gacy and Mary Worthington (who I refuse to spell the way we know her - yes, I'm superstitious like that). Even with all those ghosts getting in the way, they successfully, get everyone out of the town and Belphegor does the spell that traps all the ghosts in said town.

But, if all of this wasn't enough, there's something else wrong - Sam. After shooting god Sam got shot himself also (as we knew he would) but the gunshot wound is different and not only Castiel isn't able to heal it but he also got a strange feeling from it so, I bet that's going to tie with the end of the season and, I might be reading too much into it but my theory is that Sam is going to die in the end. There's no way it all ends well so yeah, my bet, for now, is that Sam is going to be the one to die.

And well, the episode basically ends like that, with the brothers agreeing to face this 'end of the world' again and being free from God once and for all. 

I liked this first episode. It gave me a lot of season 1 vibes, not only with the ghosts that were in that same season but also all the atmosphere and the scares which I have to say, the first seasons were way scarier that this last ones. All in all, great season premiere, I'm going to be waiting for me.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 20 - "Moriah"

Hello guys!

So here I am, as promised, with the Supernatural Season 14 Finale rant, and what a finale!

I have to say, after the last couple of episodes, I went in with pretty low expectations and then, after the first few minutes, I really didn't think this would go out with a bang but... Oh boy! How I was wrong! I would even dare to say that this was the most epic season finale Supernatural has ever had and, after 14 seasons, they sure have some pretty big season finales! But this one! They sure are setting up the last season to be one of the best and that makes me so excited!

As we saw in the end of last episode, Dean's plan didn't really work that well and Jack was able to get out of the box. Luckily, he didn't do much damage to them because I really thought Jack would be really pissed and just kill them or something. He was pissed, sure, and he did attack them, but he fled pretty quickly and didn't waist any time in wrecking havoc (not on purpose though). I can't really blame Jack, to be honest, about what he did because I myself I'm a firm believer that you should never lie (and I can't even lie about anything, I feel so damn guilty) so I get why Jack made everyone say the truth all the time but then, he found himself in a situation where he had lied before, when he visited his grandparents and they tell him that they know he lied. 

At the same time Jack is doing all that, the Winchesters try to track him, and that's when God appears! I really wasn't expecting him so early in the episode and I was so excited about him being back! That was, until the last part of the episode, where he really pissed me off (but I'll get into that).

God does kind of help them and undoes what Jack did but when it comes to actually do something with Jack, he just can't. He warns them about Jack being a grave threat and that they must deal with him. For that, God gives them a weapon that can kill Jack, but it will also kill the person that handles the gun and so, it starts that thing between Sam and Dean where Dean wants to be the one to kill Jack and Sam just disagrees with the whole thing and even starts getting suspicious of God's motives.

Castiel also disagrees with the whole thing about killing Jack and even goes looking for him and that's one of the best moments happen, with such a cute talk between Castiel and Jack, just like a father and son talk, so damn sweet!

Unfortunately, Dean interrupts that moment and shows up in the cemetery where Castiel and Jack are, ready to kill Jack but, as he's about to kill him, he just can't bring himself to actually do it and just 'gives up'.

That's when God reveals that he has been manipulating the situation like a story that he writes and is angered about Dean not being able to kill Jack. Post that, God does it himself - he kills Jack, which was such an wow moment for me, followed by an even bigger moment where Sam tries to kill God with the gun and also shooting himself in the process. It then cut to commercial but, when the episode comes back, we see that Sam just hit him in the shoulder and both of them where okay. But, as you can imagine, God wasn't happy with what Sam did and so, he decides to end the world, turning the world into darkness and unleashing every soul from Hell, all the monsters that Sam and Dean sent there, all of them back - we even get to see the lady in the road (such a throwback from season 1).

But, that's not really the end. Before the episode actually ends, we see Jack in The Empty, first seeing the Shadow and then being approached by Billie who tells him that they need to talk about the current situation, which leads me to believe that we will see more of Jack in the future.

I actually saw a pretty good predictions where Jack will defeat God and become the new God and create more angels and everything and that's how the series will end. I'm fine with that, to be honest, but it's still too early to make assumptions so... Let's see what the last season brings!

I don't know about you but I'm extremely happy with this Season Finale and so excited for the next and final season. I'm probably going to react in video for the series finale but there's still a long way till then so... Let's not worry things.
