The Flash | Season 4 Episode 14 - "Subject 9"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone! We are back from hiatus!
That's right! After a couple of weeks without any episodes, The Flash is back and with a pretty good episode, I might say.
This episode had a lot of elements that brought up the 'old' The Flash seasons (I've found myself laughing a lot in this episode) as well as some deep scenes and I pretty good storyline. Also, it had a pretty good surprise factor about the whole thing and I lot of action in general, which I loved! The only 'not so good' thing about this episode was Barry being harsh at everyone, which luckily was 'calmed down' by Iris. This type of Barry reminded me a lot of last season, when they tried to make The Flash more 'serious' and, in a way, more like Arrow, which I didn't like but, like I said, Iris told him about being hard at everyone and Barry realized that so, hopefully, he'll get to 'normal' in the next episode.
Anyway, in this episode Team Flash goes after the remaining metas that were on the bus.
Dibny uses his detective skills and they are able to find Izzy (the Fiddler), a meta with sound waves abilities. They try to get her to go with them but she refused. When they went to try and get her back again, DeVoe shows up (inside Sharpe's body), but Izzy uses her powers and is actually able to hurt him. With that, DeVoe's wife shows up and takes him to their hidding spot.
Ralph, Barry, Cisco and Izzy are able to get back to STAR Labs and that's when they start training her. Everything is kind of well until Barry pushes her too much and she ends up injured. Not badly, but enough to make her wanna leave.
Izzy thinks she can take DeVoe by herself and so calls him out. He does show up, as well as Ralph and Barry who find where she his but, unfortunately, while trying to save her, DeVoe uses Dominic's and Becky's abilities to hurt both Barry and Ralph. DeVoe then once again uses the chair to transfer his mind to Izzy's and then leaves.
Ralph is pretty down about this whole thing because he grew to really like Izzy, which was actually one of the main thing through out this whole episode, which I actually loved! I feel like Ralph has been taken away a bit of Barry's 'shine', which I don't mind, to be honest, I just find it a bit odd, since Barry is the lead character. Well, it's nice to have the 'spotlight' on someone else and, like I've mentioned before, I grew to like Dibny a lot!
Well, like I was saying... With all that happened, Barry is even more determined to protect Dibny and Dibny is even more determined to take down DeVoe (as well as Barry, obviously) so, when Barry goes to Dibny to comfort him, Dibny actually gives Barry a card saying that he's now a private investigator (since Barry was kind of fired from the CCPD), which was a pretty cute scene!
And well, the episode basically ended like that, with both of them pretty determined to take down DeVoe and find the remaining three metas so, I can't actually wait to see more of that!
Let me know what you thought on the episode and I'll see you Friday with new Arrow and Supernatural rants!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Vendettas | Season 31 Episode 9 - "Baskets of Deplorables"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
So, here we are with a brand new The Challenge rant and a pretty interesting/funny/good one.
Once again, this wasn't like a 'full episode' (I don't know why I still have hopes that will happen because it seems like they've given up on that 'format') but it had a lot of things happening and not that much drama (just a little bit at the end, and involving Bananas, which I'm always up for, to be honest).
We start the episode with Marie and Kailah like really pissed at Kam for sending Marie into elimination but that disappeared like really quickly. I guess they just realized that they would stay friends no matter what and that there was no point on making an huge drama around them... Soon enough, they focused on Kailah trying to save her ass and going to talk to Bananas but just really messing it up after staying that basically Bananas was 4th on her list. That truly ended 'badly' because, in the Inquisition, Bananas, Natalie and Nelson went for Kailah, Nicole and Cara Maria. Cara Maria was a surprising one because not only she's kind of friends with Bananas and, therefore, with Natalie and also because she was on their Team and, actually, she should be in the Troika, so that was totally unfair to her. Of course she was only chosen because of Nelson, and because Nelson didn't want to put Kam in, which was what Natalie and Bananas wanted. But, oh well, they already had Kailah in so, they had to give up on someone.
Of course when it came to the 'talking' they basically said they weren't going to choose Cara so...
And that was exactly what happened. Nelson did choose Cara Maria but both Bananas and Natalie went for Kailah so, Kailah was the one going to elimination against her friend Marie.
Like they were expecting, it was a puzzle elimination so they had their hopes up on Marie being able to win but I guess they were wrong because Kailah was the one to win in the end. This wasn't necessarily good because Kailah then won a Grenade.
After the elimination, they didn't show much and moved on pretty quickly to the challenge of that week, starting of by saying that Leroy was back, which is nice.
Then, Kailah had to choose a grenade, and that actually surprised me because she could either choose Cash, choose the Teams or put someone in the troika or put someone in the inquisition and I actually thought she was going to choose the last one but no, she chose the 'choosing the teams' grenade, which was also surprising to TJ, which is never a good sign.
Anyway, I have to say that, in the end, it was actually a smart move because her Team did win in the end and the other team, where Bananas was, lost which, obviously, I wasn't happy about.
Like in any other challenge, the winning team chose the Troika and the loosing team chose someone to go straight to elimination. As far as the Troika, they chose Kailah, Tony and Zach. Kailah because she was the one to choose the Teams and those two boys because they were the ones to score in the challenge, so it ws fair.
When it came to the loosing team, it was a toss up between Bananas and Devin. First, Bananas chose Devin, then Devin chose Bananas, obviously Nelson chose Bananas as well and, also pretty obvious, Leroy chose Devin. This was all pretty obvious until the girls had to choose. Cara Maria voted for Devin to go into elimination, which was kind of expected, since Banans and her have been pretty fine lately, Britini votes in Bananas and then that's when things get pretty surprising! Next, was Jemmye and she actualy voted for Devin to go in, saying that he had her back a couple of times, which is true and then, even more surprising was Kayleigh who also voted in Devin saying the same thing has Jemmye. This last one was even more surprising because she has been hooking up with Nelson and Nelson voted in Bananas so everyone thought she would go with Nelson's vote but... She didn't! I'm actually pretty happy about that but it was surprising nonetheless. And, in the end, Devin says he wants Bananas to go in against him which, to be honest, is just the dumbest thing ever! Does he really thing he can beat Bananas?!
After that, when they get back to the house, obviously Nelson is pretty upset that Kayleigh basically shat on him by voting in Devin, which pretty much sets the tone for the hooking up thing between Bananas and Kayleigh that we have seen in the previews.
Then, Devin goes to Jemmye asking why she voted him in over Bananas. Bananas then appears and tells Devin to stop bullying girls and this starts a 'mini-fight' between both of them and ending with Devin hoping he would go against Devin to get his revenge.
Then, the preview was actually pretty interesting because it actually makes it look like Bananas might not go in against Devin. Instead, I actually think it might be Nelson. Just think about it... Kayleigh seems pretty upset at someone (who I think it's Nelson), Devin says something about someone making him look bad or something and then, the people in the Troika, they don't really like Nelson. Both Zach and Tony are kind of allied to Bananas and neither Tony or Kailah like Nelson so, there's a pretty big chance it will be Nelson to go against Devin.
I don't know about you but, in a way, I want it to be Nelson, because they way Bananas is save but, at the same time, I would love to see Bananas kick Devin's ass so, I don't know.
Let me know all your thoughts on all of this and I'll see you pretty soon with a new The Flash rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Vendettas | Season 31 Episode 8 - "Mercenaries of Mayhem"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
I don't know if you really noticed but I've been kind of MIA from all my social media for the past four days so, first of all, I want to say sorry for that and for not posting this yesterday. I did, in fact, watch the episode yesterday but the truth is that I've been pretty sick (I'm still not 100% okay) and yesterday was the first day that I didn't feel totally like crap so I wasn't well enough to be writting so, I hope you understand. But today I'm feeling better and I feel like I'm well enough to write, at least something. Like I said, I'm still not 100% okay so this post might be a little bit shorter because of that.
But lets get into the main events of this episode because, again, althought this wasn't a 'full' episode like I do prefer, this was a pretty good one, with a lot of action, starting with the remain mercenaries that still had to 'play'.
Like I predicted in the last post, Veronica wasn't well enough to keep going, her finger was really broken so yeah, right away, Aneesa won and Veronica went home. Moving to Kam vs Tori, this was a bit of a 'lame' elimination if I might say. For some reason, I feel like Tori didn't give her all and, in the end, Kam did win, which was a shame because I don't like her at all! But then, after that, came the real and the good elimination that everyone was waiting for - Derrick vs Joss. Neither of them kew each other so didn't know what they were getting themselves into and, in the end, that was so damn good! It was a pretty well matched fight that they just had to 'kind of' make it easier because none of them were giving up. As you can see by the banner, Derrick was in pretty rough shape by the end of the elimination because they really battled and, in the end, it was a shame that Derrick won. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Derrick, I just think if Joss didn't mess up, he had a chance and he could really win. On the other hand, he was a threat to Bananas so... I'm kind of happy he's gone. Still, he was a pretty good competitor and he seemed like a nice person so I can't wait to have him back on the Challenge.
So, in the end, Kam was the only one to win - the wrost thing that could happen.
Because of that, she won a grenade. Her grenades were pretty lame in my opinion, only things to do to someone else before the next challenge - Lube Up, Endure or Flip up (which was wear flip flops on the challenge).
We didn't get to see much before the actual challenge really, only Kam talking to some girls, one of them being Cara Maria and basically threaten her.
Moving to the actual challenge, as we've seen in the preview, it was a pretty 'scary' one where Leroy did really have a big fall that he had to go to the hospital. But before that, let's talk about the teams and which grenade Kam chose.
About the teams - it was up to the Troika, who I don't know, I feel like they did everything a little random but yeah, in the end, Bananas was with Cara Maria, Nelson and Natalie and, moving a little forward, Nelson was one of the only two to actually complete the challenge. The other person was Zach who also had a pretty rough hit in one of the cars with actually smashing one of the windows! But, in the end, he managed to end, and that's what matters! Still, Nelson finished way faster so Banana's Team won, which I'm happy about! This also backfired Kam who chose Lube Up Cara Maria who, as I said, was in the winning Team, which is just so funny!
Anwway, in the end, the worst team had to choose a girl up for elimination and the loosing team was Kam, Jemmye, Marie and Brad and, in a pretty big plot twist in the end, Kam chose Marie to go to elimination and well, that was pretty much it. Marie was the one to go to elimination and, from the winning team, Cara Maria was the one to be left out of the Troika which means, Bananas, Nelson and Natalie are in the Troika.
The episode ended like that, with Marie really pissed at Kam because they were 'friends' so... Let's see what happens.
I just know that Karma is a bitch so I'm really happy that Cara Maria was in the winning Team and Kam in the loosing one!
I have no idea who they are going to choose for Inquisition but let me know who you think they are going to choose and I'll see you next week with new rants (back with the usual ones!).
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Vendettas | Season 31 Episode 7 - "Pulling the Strings"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
Turns out I do have a series to talk to you about this week - The Challenge! It's the only one though, but it was a great episode so I guess it's fine.
This week we (kind of) got back to the usual set up of the challenge episodes - the challenge, nominations, elimination. I said 'kind of' because the elimination didin't end and also because we actually started with another elimination. Actually, let's start with that!
In the very beginning of the episode we find out who they were going to send in against Brad and everyone voted for Victor, which was fine and easy, to be honest. The elimination challenge itself wasn't that easy and they showed little of it, I guess it was because it was kind of obvious that Brad was going to win it, which he did. I don't really like Brad but I guess it's fine because Victor could really mess up with Banana's game and that's the only thing that I worry about so, it was fine for me.
After the elimination, they get back to the house and the notes thingy comes up again. The only difference this time is that we actually find out who was writting it! I mean, we (the audience) find out because I believe they didn't, which is interesting. And well, who could it be? None other than my boy Bananas! He's the master at stiring the pot and that's exactly what he's doing with this whole notes thing and, actually, I've mentioned to my sister before that he could be him, but truth be told, I was joking, because I never really thought it was him, which was nice - a surprise for once on The Challenge.
Bananas actually said in the 'interviews' that he told his sister to write all those notes before the season began and that he then would use them when he thought was 'appropriate', which I thought was so damn funny and pretty clever! Bananas never fails to amaze me!
Anyway, moving on, they actually don't focus too much on all of this and get into this week's challenge - which was basically a puzzle.
The previous Troike were the ones to choose the teams (two teams) and they were actually pretty smart about it, because they chose Brad to be on their Team because he had a grenade, which would prevent him using on any of them. Once again, pretty clever! Then, Brad actually chose the time penalty grenade and used it on Kam, who was on the other Team and needless to say, Banana's team won, which meant they had to pick three people to be the troika, which they chose Nicole, Kyle and Tony - again, really smart. Oh, and I completely forgot to say, this time it was a double elimination which meant the troika had to choose three guys and three girls and then choose one of each in the elimination, with no Inquisition. Also, the loosing Team had to choose one guy and one girl to be automatically in the elimination, which they chose Veronica and Joss.
Later, the Troika chose Shane, Nelson and Devin as the possible boys and Kam, Natalie and Kayleigh as the possible girls.
With no Inquisition, they end up choosing Kam and Shane but, of course, there was another twist (as we predicted) - a group of challenge vets, Derrick, Jordan, Tori and Aneesa, now known as The Mercenaries, show up to the ring to compete against the ones chose to go to elimination, Kam, Shane, Joss and Veronica.
The match-ups are Joss vs Derrick, Shane vs Jordan, Kam vs Tori and Veronica vs Aneesa.
This whole thing was pretty interesting. Up first were Jordan and Shane, the later even saying that he's going against a celebrity crush, which was so funny! But, in the end, Jordan beats Shane fairly easily, which got me a bit sad because I actually liked Shane.
Then, it was time for Aneesa vs Veronica which, in their first heat, things get physical, and Veronica injures her finger, and looking really badly from what we've seen. And the episode basically ends like that.
We'll have to wait to see if Veronica is able to keep going but I doubt that because it was looking really badly.
Anyway, let me know which are all your thoughts on this episode and how do you think all this is going to end? I presonally think Joss will be able to beat Derrick and, hopefully, Tori will beat Kam and send her home because I don't like Kam at all, but let me know your predictions.
I'll see you guys next week!
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 13 - "The Devil's Greatest Trick"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello!
Here it is, also, the last Arrow rant fora few weeks (yes, all the series are going to be on an hiatus for 2/3 weeks, unfortunatelly).
Unlike Supernatural, this Arrow episode wasn't that mindblowing. Actually, I thought it would be and, because I already knew about the hiatus, I thought it was going to end with a Bang but... well, for me, that didn't happen, and that's mostly what I'm going to talk about in this rant.
The episode begins with Cayden James threatening to set the bomb off at midnight. This was actually something unexpected because I thought his storyline was going to last longer, I'm glad it didn't thought, because I didn't really like how the story was going and, hopefully, it will get better from now on but still, it was a little bit unexpected.
Anyway, just in time, Alena and Felicity are able to decode the video of Oliver killing Cayden's son, proving it was someone else to kill him and clearing Oliver's name. Actually, after this scene, and reading some tweets, I thought the person behind everything and 'manipulating' Cayden James was actually Alena. It was just interesting the fact that she came back a little bit out of no where and, suddenly, when she appears, they are able to decode everything and find everything so I thought it was her and to be honest, it would be a better plot twist than what really happened in the end of the episode but... I'll get into that.
Anyway, they show the real video to Cayden James to which he concludes that it was someone in his group so he demands that Team Arrow brings his former allies to him or he will set off the bomb.
The team brings Black Siren, Diaz and Anatoly to James, but Black Siren says she was behind his son's death which, after a few things happen, end in her getting free, being able to use her powers and allowing everyone but Cayden to escape.
In the end, Cayden realises that what he's doing is wrong and that his son wouldn't like what he's doing. I should also point out that during this episode we had some Cayden James flashbacks which was interesting and, kind of, made me like his character a little bit more. Oh, also, Cayden also realises that mainly because William showed up there, which was dumb but brave at the same time and well, everything ended fine in the end and Cayden surrendered.
While in custody, the real person behind it all approaches Cayden James - Ricardo Diaz. He reveals that he was the real person responsible for the death of Cayden's son and that he has the new police captain on his payroll, killing Cayden before he leaves.
I don't know about you but, like I said before, this reveal wasn't really surprising to me and I actually think it was kind of dull. Not only because everyone was saying it was him for the past 2/3 episodes but also because, to be completey honest, I don't even remember much from his character from the beginning of the season so, that says much about his character. I don't know, maybe it will turn out to be good but the reavel itself wasn't that great and a little bit disappointing.
Let me know what you thought it. Was it a surprise to you or you thouth it was Diaz all along? Tell me everything.
I'll see you guys in my next rant (don't really know when that's gonna be because basically every show is on hiatus but, we'll see).
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 13 - "Devil's Bargain"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everone!
Here I am with a brand new Supernatural rant (the last one for two weeks) and prepare yourself, because this episode was quite something and we have a lot to talk about!
First of all, this was Danneel's debut on the show, which was something that everyone have been waiting for ages! Then, he whole storyline of this episode was crazy, with some good things and some not so good and ending with a bang (which personally, I'm really excited about)!
The episode starts with Castiel being able to get back to the Winchesters and letting them know about everything - Michael, Asmodeus and Lucifer! With everything that is happening, they decide to focus on getting Mary and Jack back and, after finding about everything that happened in the alternate universe, they think that the demon tablet might have a similar (or even the same) spell that is on the angel tablet and so, in order to read it, they ask for Donatello's help. Of course Asmodeus has a lot of people working for him and finds about Donatello, ending up using a 'spell' on him to be noticed once he finds the spell in the tablet.
Meanwhile, we see a Lucifer really weak and almost becoming human, to which he begins draining other angel's grace in order to regain his strength. Along the way, Lucifer meets the angel Anael (aka Danneel) who's disguised as a healer names Sister Jo. Somehow, they develop something and basically Lucifer agrees to keep her around in order to get her grace in little bits and not kill her. Actually, Anael is the one to have that idea, which is why I (and basically everyone) think that she might have another plan (in the end we see something that might be it but I don't know, I feel like she's hiding a lot more).
Well, at the same time, somehow, Ketch appears again (still working for Asmodeus) and him and the Winchesters go after Lucifer.
They find both Lucifer and Anael but they are able to get away. Their next plan then is to go to heaven, to which Lucifer promises he will not only make more angels but also restore the living angels' wings in exache for him being the new ruler of Heaven to which, surprisingly, the angels accet - which shows how desperate they are right now.
After Lucifer's escape, Ketch proposes an allience between himself and the Winchesters to defeat Lucifer and Michael and reveals that he's actually working for Asmodeus. I still think they shouldn't trust Ketch, which they also think he's not really trust worthy but they do realise that they might need his help.
Back in Hell, Ketch tells Asmodeus about his failure and then Asmodeus actually reveals that he has acquired an Archangel Blade - the only weapon that can kill Lucifer. The only thing is, only another archangel can use that blade, and that's when it's revealed that Asmodeus has had Gabriel in prison for the past eight years! Oh my Chuck you guys - Gabriel is back! He has always been one of my favourite and you have no idea how happy I was when I saw his face! I wasn't expecting this at all and now I just want another episode to find out more and see more of him! I'm seriously so stoked!
Damn...Well, that's basically it guys! I loved this episode! Everything with Danneel was amazing and this ending was just the cherry on top!
Let me know what you thought about the episode and tell me, where you expecting that ending?! Let me know everything!
I'll see you in a few minutes with the new Arrow rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Flash | Season 4 Episode 13 - "True Colors"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I took some time with this rant. As I told you, I was out all night yesterday and today I was out as well and I only arrived home like two hours ago and only got time to write now, but better late than never right?! Also, just one more thing before I really start the rant - I'm in a bit of an hurry so this post my be a little short. Not only because of that but also because I watched the episode when it aired and I don't remember things that well so, don't be too harsh on me, okay? Okay, let's start then.
This was a pretty interesting episode mainly because it was another Ralph centered episode, which I love. You might have realised by now that I've started to really like Ralph and he's basically the new Julian, to be honest... I love how Hartley Sawyer portraits him and he's just an wonderful character, I don't get why people don't like him, really... Anyway, like I was saying, this was another Ralph episode with a bit of Barry too, something that I really enjoyed as well.
Like we saw in the preview, in this episode, Barry and the bus metas are prepared to be sold to Amuet so of course they start thinking of a plan to get out. Well, I should say Barry starts working on a way to get out because the others are just too dumb. This was one of my favourite things in this episode - smart Barry. We've always known that Barry is really smart, he's a cientist after all, but it's been a while since we've seen that side of Barry - but in this episode, they showed it, when he made some sort ot solucion to get out of the meta prison, which was pretty amazing and that all the fans really liked (I saw all the tweets).
The other thing that I really liked in the episode - the Ralph thing - was that we discovered a new ability - shapeshifting. Of course the writers had to come up with something 'not so real' and a bit of a cliche to get to the end result of the episode but, personally, I'm okay with it, and I loved to see all the emotions that Ralph went through in the episode - from being really 'cocky', to thinking he always let's his friends down, to believing in himself again. I just love his character development!
With this new ability, Ralph and Team Flash start working on a plan to get Barry out of the prison before being sold to Amunet (because they did find about that through Cecile's powers, thankfully). Let's just say the plan doesn't really work well and that's when Dibney starts doubting himself.
Luckily, Barry also has a plan and he manages to get himself and the other metas out of the prison - just to be cornered, again, by Wolfe and Amunet. Right in that moment, DeVoe (in Dominic's body and chair) appear and extracts the other metas powers and gets himself inside Becky's body.
And then, the final twist! Ralph shapeshits himself into the original DeVoe, goes to court and claims that he was just unconcious on Barry's loft and not dead, clearing Barry's name and getting him out of prison! I have to say that I wasn't expecting that at all! It seemed very difficult to  me but with this new ability of Ralph's they can do a lot so, I'm looking forward to see more of him and his new 'power'.
Back at the DeVoe's house, their marriage begins to deteriorate, and the Thinker drugs his wife with the Weeper's love tears to maintain her devotion to him.
Overall, this was a great episode and it's such a bummer that we'll have to wait until the end of the month to find out more but, at least, it ended kind of well so, that's good!
Let me know all your thoughts on the episode and, once again, I'm sorry for posting the rant a bit late.
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Vendettas | Season 31 Episode 6 - "Notes on a Scandal"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone and welcome to the first rant of the week (and the only one today).
First of all, I'm just going to say that I won't be able to post The Flash's rant today because I'm busy tonight, doing stuff out and I won't be arriving home early so you're gonna have to wait for it tomorrow (although, I'm also going to be out tomorrow but yeah, I'm going to try). So, there's that.
Now, with that out of the way, we can talk about this week's The Challenge episode.
I must say that I was really looking forward to this episode because last week's one was so bad and the preview for this one looked cool. In a way, I liked this episode, we almost had a 'normal' episode but, in other things, it was just a bummer, starting out with the fact that it wasn't, like I said, a 'normal' episode, because we didn't get to see the elimination.
Then, there's the fact that, when the challenge of the week was starting, they let us know that both Sylvia and Natalie were sick so, not only they weren't going to compete, but also because Sylvia wasn't there, she wouldn't be able to use her grenade, so it went to waste, which was just dumb really and just shows that The Challenge is just like any other reality show were they, in a way, manipulate things so certain people will get through or not get through but, this time, they shot themselves in the foot because of the way things turned out, which I'll get into in a minute.
In terms of the actual challenge, this one was a pretty interesting one not only because it was underwater, but also because it was at night, which makes things a lot more interesting. Of course I wasn't really worried because I knew Bananas was good at stuff like this and, as I suspected, he did great! But also, he had a lot of luck with his team (this time it was chosen randomly) because his team was the best one so yeah, Bananas was in the Troika again (which I don't mind really). Also with him in the troika was Tony, which was also a beast in this challenge, and Kyle which did ok.
Then, the worst team had to choose a male player to go into elimination, since this was a male week. The team was Brad's team, with Nelson, Marie, Kayleigh and Kam and basically everyone chose Brad and yeah, he ended up being the one to go straight to elimination althought he was the best one in his team but yeah, that's why I said they shot themselves in the foot because I was almost 100% sure that Sylvia was going to pick the Endure grenade and do it on Brad so, either way, he was the one to go to elimination.
After that, a lot went one with someone putting notes on Britini's bed and stuff which, to be completely honest, I don't care so I'm just going to jump straight into the Inquisition, where Bananas, Tony and Kyle decided to go with Victor, Shane and Devin - basically the downstairs room that has been planning to take down Bananas so it's understandable.
When it came to the dinner where they had to 'fight for themselves' Shane was really shady. I mean, I love Shane and I get why he did what he did but basically he was in on the plan and basically let them know what the others were planning making it sound like he wasn't part of it. That just created a lot of drama with Victor and well, the episode basically ended before their decision.
I think they are going to go with Victor because he's just being shady, even more than Shane, and the way he plays the game... I'm not liking it and they don't like it either so, I think they are going to go with him.
Then, wow, the preview for the rest of the season was quite something! Of course they make it sound even better that what it is going to be but, not only some other Champs like Laurel, Derrick and Derrell are going to make an appearance, but also they find out that there's only going to be one winner, not female and male winners, only one winner out of all of them so, it's going to be interesting.
I'm sure they will have more plot twists so, let's see.
For now, there's that. Let me know what you think is going to happen in the rest of the season because I'm really curious to know which are your theories.
I'll see you guys tomorrow with the The Flash rant!
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 12 - "All for Nothing"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
Sorry I took a little more time with this rant than I should.
The truth is I wasn't able watch the episode live yesterday (sadly) so I had to watch it today, which was hard to find some time to actually watch it. But I did, and I'm actually pretty sad I didn't live tweet because this episode was really good! As always, there were parts that I really enjoyed and others that were questionable but I'll get into all of that. The overall review is that this was really good - good storyline, good fight scenes, good one-liners and really good flashbacks, which was something that we didn't have for a few episodes and we had it again, which is always nice.
The episode started right were the previous one left of (or, at least, it looked like it) with Oliver transfering the money to Cayden James' account. We see Oliver really afraid with everything - one of those things being the fact that the city is almost out of money to pay Cayden. Because of that, the Team realises that they really need to find were the bomb that Cayden James has is located so, that way, Cayden won't have any leverage on them.
Afraid that Cayden James will detonate the bomb sooner, Vince reaches out to both Team and everyone starts thinking of a way to find the bomb. Felicity comes up with a really elaborate plan (I mean, it wasn't that elaborate but it's really hard to explain so don't expect me to do that) and so, Vince agrees to enter James' server room to download datas that could lead the teams to find where the bomb is. That was actually one of my favourite scenes - two scenes actually - when Cayden doesn't know the code to enter the server room and Felicity tells him one that she thinks is the one to which Vince asks 'You think?' and after that Felicity says she's never wrong. I really liked that. And the other scene that I really liked was one that followed that one, when Felicity basically saves Vince and tells him exactly what to say to Cayden - like a lot of tech stuff and really elaborate things that only Felicity understands - which was pretty funny.
Vince is able to transmit the date to Felicity (and the Teams) but soon after that he's identified as the traitor and so Anatoly tortures him, and we know that Anatoly's torture is like really bad...
After that, they are able to find the location of the bomb but, at the same time, they find out that Vince is being tortured so Dinah, Rene and Curtis decide to go save vince while Oliver and Diggle went after the bomb.
Of course thing couldn't just go well (besides, it's only episode 12, there's still 10 more episode ahead so it couldn't all be over now) and turns out Cayden James predicted all of this and basically manipulated both Teams. The Vince rescue was just bait to get to them and to leave them vulnerable because, at the same time, the place were the bomb was was too big and Oliver and Diggle couldn't deal with all by themselves.
In the end, Black Siren kills Vince, while Dinah watches and Oliver and Diggle are unable to get the bomb before it is moved to another location.
However, and that's like the 'plot twist' of the episode, with the date that Felicity got (and with the help of Alena, I should mention) they retrieve the proof that, Cayden claims, shows Oliver killing his son (which, unfortunately, isn't Billy, which would be such a plot twist, I might say). That video is, in fact, fake and that's when they realise it was falsified using the same technology that was used to falsify the image of Oliver being the Green Arrow, which means it wasn't Cayden James who falsified the photo and that might be someone else manipulating Cayden, without him knowing, in order to take down Oliver.
This whole thing is really unexpected so I'm interested in where this is going. It looks like the Season is taking a turn for the better so let's see, I'm curious about this new 'plot twist'.
Let me know all your thoughts on the episode and which are you theories for this 'new' person and for this whole thing, I would really like to know.
I'll see you guys next week with new rants!
Love,
Daniela.

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 12 - "Various & Sundry Villains"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone and here's a brand new Supernatural rant!
Oh my god, I can't rave enough about this episode!
Last week I had a feeling that this week's episode wasn't going to be just a 'normal' case of the week type of episode and I was so right! Although, I neve thought this episode would be this good!
Right from the 'Then' we could see something about witches (which we knew were going to be a part of the episode) but we could also see Rowena, which meant she was probably back! Ever since the end of last season, when basically everyone 'died' we were lead to believe that Rowena was dead too but 1) Ruth Connell never said anything about leaving the show, like Mark Sheppard did and 2) we never saw a body so, like they say 'no body, no death' (or something like that) so basically all fans were hopping she was alive and, just jumping right into that, she was in fact alive! The photo in the banner is in the exact same moment when she arrives and that was an amazing entrace! But, rewinding...
The beginning of the episode makes us believe that this is just a normal case of the week, like I said before, with two witches casting love spells on guys in order to get things. Then, we find out that their plan all along was to cast a spell on one of the Winchester brothers in order to get the Black Grimoire. Obviously, as expected, Dean is always the one getting trapped in this things. But luckily, Sam realises right away that something is wrong and the love spell that Jaime (one of the sisters) casted on Dean doesn't last long. That's the moment when Rowena makes her grand entrance and basically saves the boys. I can't say enough good things about that entrance! It was something that only Rowena could do! I'm seriously so happy that she's back (kind of).
Unfortunately, the sisters manage to steal the book and that's when things start evolving and the storyline of the whole episode is basically the boys trying to get the book back.
Of course a lot goes down and, by the end, Rowena reveals her true intentions. Basically this was her plan. She 'sided' with the sisters, just in order to get the book and then betray them later. She also reveals that she needs the Black Grimoire for a ritual that will allow her to remove the magical binding that the Grand Coven placed on her and get her full powers back.
The boys, with Rowena's help, are able to find the sisters and that's when they find why they needed the book - to bring back to life their mother - which they kind of accomplish, but only in a zombie form. In the end, the boys and Rowena defeat the sisters, in a really shocking but so damn good scene, in which the sisters basically kill each other because of a spell Rowena casted on them, and get the Black Grimoire back.
In the end, the boys keep the book but Sam allows Rowena to take the page with the ritual she needs and Rowena is able to restore her full powers, which was like the very last scene of the episode, and also something kind of creepy with a lot of things that we don't know about, I'm sure.
At the same time all of this is happening, we also see what's going on in Hell, with Castiel and Lucifer, which was also something that I was really hoping we would get into in this episode, and I'm so glad we did. We see some funny scenes with Lucifer, as usual and, later on, Lucifer and Castiel basically make an alliance to get out of Hell and Asmodeus' custody which, once again, was a pretty badass scene and one that I quite liked! They are able to leave but then Castiel refuses to trust Lucifer and basically stabs him. Of course he doesn't die but it was nice (and kinda sad at the same time) to see Cass not make the same mistakes again. And that was basically it.
I didn't quite understand what we are going to see in the next episode, the only thin that I know is that we are finally going to see Danneel (Jensen's wife) and I'm pretty excited about that. I've never seen her act (although I know she's an actress) so I'm curious to see how she does and what is going to be her character and everything so, pretty stoked about that.
Apart from that, I have no idea what can happen. I hope they dive a little bit more into the fact that Jack is with Mary in the alternate universe and, hopefully, they get a way to save them. Well, at least, I want to see a bit more of Jack and his interations with Mary because I think that's going to be interesting.
Anyway, let me know all your thoughts on this episode and what do you think is going to happen in the next one!
I'll see you later!
Love,
Daniela.
