The Vampire Diaries | Season 7 Episode 20 - "Kill 'Em All"

Spoiler Alert!

First of all, let's take a moment to appreciate how beautiful Caroline looks in my banner. She looks like a doll!
Ok, moment taken. We can now get in to the episode.
Once again, I couldn't live tweeting during the episode, which makes me extremely sad because this was such a good episode! We got to see a little bit of each character, which we haven't seen in a while and, most imports, we got answers!
But, anyways, let's start with the beginning...
This episode was basically a continuation of the previous one - the gand trying to save Bonnie, which I quite like, since it's always Bonnie who tries to save them. So, it is nice to see a change once in a while.
Anyway, this time, not only Damon, Enzo, Stefan and Alaric help. This time Matt and Caroline also join the hunt but in a slightly different way. Unlike in the previous episode, Stefan joins Matt this time and Alaric joins Caroline (or the other way around), which was nice, because it was because of all this that we got some answers, starting with Stefan and Matt. We finally understand the reason why Matt is so mad at Stefan, and I was wrong in the end. It wasn't Stefan who killed Penny, it was actually Matt who killed her. Of course there's more to it, he just thought it was Stefan and he ended up shooting the wrong person. Stefan tried to save her, by giving her his blood, but it was too late. And so Matt didn't have to live with what he did, Stefan compeled him to forget, and that's why Matt couldn't remember that night clearly and that's why he thought it was Stefan who killed her, afterall, he's a cop and he has lived with vampires for years so, he knows when something is up.
Unfortunately, we didn't really got answers about the whole Caroline/Stefan thing, but we got answers about what's inside that vault. It seems like it's an evel 'spirit' that makes people who get inside the vault lose their compassion, and not care about others, which makes them kill 'em all in the end.
I can see a great storyline with this vault thing, even thought that's not what I think we are gonna get, from the end of this episode, which I could jump right on to.
So, after realising that they couldn't kill all those vampires that were inside the Phoenix stone, and after Bonnie gets her magic back, which only meant that The Armory was about to find her, she takes another dose of Rayna's blood, which only maks her worse. She then realizes that she doesn't have much time left and just want to spend her last moments with Enzo, he comes right back to her and Damon decides to call Alex and ask for The Armory help, but in exchange for Bonnie's 'help' to open the vault. Bonnie ends up opening the vault and Alex gets inside just to find out that her sister have been dead all this time. Bonnie then keeps her promise and locks every member of The Armory inside their 'house'.
From all this, we jump to he scene where Damon and Rayna meet one of the last members that created Rayna's spell and so they can give Rayna's last life to Bonnie. Of course there was a twist! In the end, we find out that it's not only her last life that Rayna is giving Bonnie! She's also giving her her 'duty', she will become a 'vampire huntress' and she will basically turn into another Rayna, going after vampires...
I was so shocked with this because I didn't see this coming at all! So, I guess it's going to be all about this until the end of the season (which is only 2 episodes left, can you hear me crying?!).
Of course, I had to mention all the cute Bonenzo moments that we had in this episode and, also, I have to mention The Originals, because it was such an emotional episode!
Anyways, let me know all your thoughts about this episode and, if you want to, you can comment on The Originals as well, I don't mind.
And yeah, I'll see you, hopefully, on Tuesday with an Arrow rant.
Love,
Daniela.

Containment | Season 1 Episode 2 - "I to Die, You to Live"

Spoiler Alert!

This series is just on episode 2 and it is already so intense!
Yeah, that's right guys, a new episode of Containment aired last night and it was as exciting/intense as the last one.
This series is so different to what I use to watch that I kind of feel 'weird' watching it, and maybe that's the reason I'm liking it so much! That, and Chris Wood, obviously!
So, in this episode they find out that a girl that was in contact with one of the family members of pacient zero is 'missing'. She isn't in quarenteen and so the episode is basically all about trying to find her.
Luckly, she is inside the cordon, which is a little bit of a relief. The down side is that she went around the town and we don't know who she was in contact with. A lot of other people, people that she was in contact with, end up getting in quarenteen, because they are obviously infected, in which, one of those people is one of Teresa's friend, who have been with her a few hours before, which means, Teresa is probably infected as well.
And, of course, I had to mention this because it is ensential to the story, they couldn't have find out about all of this without Jake's help (Chris Wood). I kind of feel bad about him, to be honest. He's basically the only cop inside the cordon, so he must feel really alone and lost, apart from still being extremely mad at Lex for 'trapping' him inside the Cordon.
I have to be honest with you guys, I still don't understand Jake 100%, which I guess is a good thing, since they've always said that Jake is a good guy, he just have some trouble showing it off, which we kind of see in the end of the episode, when he's so mad at Lex and all this situation that he punches a wall and, a little bit later, when he's talking to Katie saying that he's going somewhere else and she might stay in the hospital because she doesn't have anywhere else to go plus, she has a lot of kids with her that have their parents outside the cordon and, in that moment (well, a few minutes later) he decides to stay in the hospital with her to help her with the kids and such. (I hope you understood all this, because it seems a little bit confusing.) But, apart from all this, I'm loving the fact that he does have a lot of screen time, because I really missed seeing Chris Wood on my TV.
Besides all this, then there's Jana, who finds out that her friend Suzy is also trapped inside the Cordon, alongside with two other guys, and so they have to share the food they have in their work place and, basically, manage to stay alive during the 48 hours that the Cordon is up.
Unfortunatelly (or not) we find out that, because of that girl that I talked in the beggining of the rant, they are going to keep the Cordon up for indetermined time. Basically, until everything is cleared out, which is going to end up in what we saw in the beggining of last week's episode.
And, well, that was basically it.
Not much happened but, at the same time, a lot happened.
I enjoyed the episode and I'm really enjoying the series. I really can't wait to know how all of this is going to end, as well as how all of this started like, why is this all happening.
Tell me your thoughts in the comments and don't forget to check out the blog next week for a new rant.
Love,
Daniela

The Vampire Diaries | Season 7 Episode 19 - "Somebody That I Used to Know"

Spoiler Alert!

First of all, I wanna say sorry for posting this so late. I do have an excuse, I was on holidays, out of the country, and I couldn't watch the episode when it aired and when I got back, I had some uni work to catch up on so, this had to get a little left behind.
Anyway, enough of 'excuses' and let's talk about the reason why you started reading this, TVD's new episode.
I think I should start by saying how amazing this episode was! Basically, it was all about Bonenzo (even though they're not the ones I chose to put in the banner). I've been waiting for this episode for ages and when it 'arrived' I had to miss the airing... Anyway, it finally arrived and it was the cutest thing ever! I already shipped Bonnie and Enzo but, after this episode, I ship them even harder.
This episode, besides being a lot about Bonenzo, was also about trying to save Bonnie, since she's getting worse and worse every day.
So, to help Bonnie, they (try) make a deal with Rayna, they help her kill all the vampires that got out of the Phoenix stone and, in exchange, she gives Bonnie her last EverLasting life. She doesn't want to at first, afterall, you can't really trust Damon (and Enzo), but after seeing that they could actually kill the vampires, and after getting sick of all of them being in her head, she agrees. Unfortunatelly, and this is the very end of the episode, she comes up with 100+ more names of vampires to kill, and they only have about a week, or less, to kill all of them, because that's the time that Bonnie has left.
And now, on to the other half of the episode, which is the one that I liked the most, Bonenzo!
We find out in this episode how they got together as a couple. We see a lot of Bonnie's (and Enzo's) flashbacks. We see how Enzo saved Bonnie in the first place from getting 'captured' by the Armory, how he kept her save in a house in the woods that he has (which let us finally know where Enzo has been living all this time) and, finally, how they ended up falling in love and getting together. My favourite scene was, for sure, the New Years Eve scene, which was so cute!
Apart from that, we also saw a lot o cute moments from the present day, and that last scene, where they're on the couch, Enzo with his head on Bonnies lap and playing the guitar was so cute! Seriously, this episode was full of cuteness so, congrats to Chris Grismer who directed this episode and to Matthew D'Ambrosio and Holly Brix who wrote it!
Well, apart from that, we also see Bonnie still mad at Damon, which I quite enjoyed and, we also see Stefan going to Caroline and Alaric's house to talk to Caroline. We know that Caroline isn't there and he ends up talking to Alaric. They also end up helping Damon, Enzo and Bonnie kill all those vampires, which makes the gang almost all together again. Unfortunatelly, it's just working together, because they're basically all mad at each other, Bonnie is mad at Damon, Stefan is mad at Damon, Alaric is mad at Stefan and, yeah...
Oh, but a little bit before the episode ends... We see Caroline again!
Caroline is back but she's also mad at Stefan so... They're still all mad at each other.
And, after this episode, there's just two things that I really wanna know and I really hope we find out soon, what happened to Stefan afterall, because we know that he was with Valerie all those years but we still don't know why he never got back to Caroline, and also, what happened for him to kill Matt's girlfriend (or whatever she was), because I'm sure it was Stefan who killed her, otherwise, why would Matt be mad at Stefan?
Anyway, I forgot to mention (and this is something that I really want to know too) is that we discorved a little bit more about the volt that The Armory wants Bonnie to open. We found out that it's another of Alex's sisters that it's inside the volt, and she wants to 'free' her but, after all this time, she should've be dead, and that's what Enzo says, in which Alex answeres saying that something inside the volt kept her alive so, I want to know what is that 'thing' that's inside the volt.
And yeah, this are all my thoughts about this episode!
There's only 3 episodes left so, I hope I get answers to all this questions in this three next episodes!
Overall, it was a great episode, mostly because of Bonenzo, obviously!
Let me know which are your thoughts about this episode! Are you also a Bonenzo shipper? What do you think about the fact that Bonnie is still mad at Damon? Do you want them to be friends again or do you like their relationship now? Let me know everything in the comments and expect the usual rant, this week, on Saturday (as well as live tweeting).
Love,
Daniela.

Containment | Season 1 Episode 1 - "Pilot"

Spoiler Alert!

Two days ago it was finally the premiere of Containment!
I've been waiting for this show for about an year and I can't believe it finally aired! And, obviously, I had to rant about because Chris Wood!
So, what I'm really here for...
I guess all of you already know what the show is about and this episode was basically just to get to know the story a little more and to get introduced to each character.
Basically a virus starts spreading in Atlanta and they have to put the city in quarantine, which causes a lot of problems. Not just the people inside the cordon are exposed to the virus and may be contaminated but also they end up apart from their loved ones.
One of the main characters in the series is Lex, portrayed by David Gyasi, who is the major from the Atlanta PD and ends up being the face of all of this, trying to keep the population 'calm'.
Lex is dating Jana (Christina Moses) who might probably be my favourite character so far in the series, as surprising as it sounds, because you might've think that Jake, Chris Wood's character, would be my favourite but, the truth is, his character is a little bit of a douche... Sometimes I get him and sometimes I don't... By the end of the episode I started liking him more and I can see a great development of his character so, I'm excited about that!
Anyways... Jana used to be Jake's girlfriend and now she's Lex's... Lex and Jake are best friends and work together at the Atlanta PD... It is kind of weird all of this, to be honest, but they seem to get all along well so... Let's see where this goes... Mostly, since both Jake and Jana are inside the cordon while Lex is outside... It's going to be intriguing, for sure!
Also inside the cordon is (probably) the character that I hate the most, Teresa, who is actually portraited by Chris Wood's real girlfriend, Hanna Mangan Lawrence. You might think that I just don't like her because she's Chris' girlfriend but I just find her character really annoying and I'm not even a litte bit excited for her storyline.
On the other hand, we have Katie, portraited by Kristen Gutoskie, who is a school teacher and is also inside the cordon and who is going to be Jake's love interest.
When I saw the previews I really didn't like her character and I didn't ship them, but after this first episode I changed my mind. I actually think they look pretty cute and, since Jake is such a 'deep' character, I think it's going to be fun/exciting to see how they end up together, as well as their dynamic.
And, because there had to be someone looking for a cure, we have Dr. Victor Cannerts (George Young). I was kind of excited bout him but, to be honest, I didn't really like his character. Maybe it will get better but I just didn't find him 'exciting'... Let's see..
The last main character is Dr. Sabine Lommers (Claudia Black) who is outside the cordon, alongside with Lex and who is basically in charge of all of this.
We didn't get to see more about everything because it is just the first episode, but I feel like this is going to be a good show and I'm actually really excited to see how all of this turns out. I'm kind of surprised that this series is on The CW but I'm glad that they created it, because it seems really different and exciting. I just have an issue... I don't see the series having more than 1 Season. They might come up with something else for Season 2 and 3 but... I just can't see it right now. Apart from that, great show, with great characters and actors so, I'm going to be waiting for a new episode every week and, of course, expect a new rant ever week as well.
So, yeah, this is my first thoughts in this new series. Let me know in the comments your thoughts. Who's your favourite character? Which are your thoughts on Chris Wood with this new character? Let me know everything! I'll see you just on Monday with a new TVD rant.
Love,
Daniela.

The Vampire Diaries | Season 7 Episode 18 - "One Way or Another"

Spoiler Alert!

I think I must start this post with How amazing have been this last couple of episodes! Seriously, this last 2 episodes (this one and the previous one) might be some of the best episodes of the series, which might be a good or a bad thing, since we are almost sure that Season 8 will be TVD's last season.
Yeah, that's right, there's a rumor around that Season 8 will be the last one, because Ian said that he was leaving TVD next season. We still don't know if it will be the end of the series, but that's more likely what's going to happen... Still, let's have hope and, besides, that's not what I'm here to talk about, I'm here to talk about this amazing episode, so let's get on to it!
This episode was the return of Dalaric, which I really missed!
Damon is determined to get Stefan back to his own body so he 'convinces' Alaric to go with him to Memphis to get Ambrose so Valerie can switch Stefan to his actual body and, consequently, put Ambrose in Marty's body.
Let's just say that Alaric is not really happy to be back to this 'supernatural life' and he makes it really clear to Damon. He also tells Damon what has been his life in this last three years, makes us, the fans, also aware of what happened.
As you can imagine, Ambrose doesn't really want to give up on his new body so he tries to make a deal with Damon, he will give Stefan's body and put himself in another vampire's body if Damon killed Rayna. So, that's what Damon does, he goes after Rayna so he can kill her (with Alaric's help, of course). What they don't know is that Enzo is also after Rayna and he ends up getting her first, and he's not willing to give her up.
Meanwhile, Bonnie is back to the picture!
In this episode we finally find out (more) about Bonnie's story, about what happened to her in this last 3 years.
So, it seems like The Armory got her but, somehow, Enzo and her fell in love, so Enzo got to free her and, to keep her safe, Bonnie checked herself in a mental institution, while Enzo kept stealing those Armory pills for her to take so The Armory couldn't do a tracking spell on her.
What they found out in the previous episodes, and we got to dig deeper into it in this episode, is that those pills not just make Bonnie not being able to access her magic, but also make her sick, just like Mary Louise was in a few episodes ago.
That's why Enzo is after Rayna, to get the effect of those pills reverse. Unfortunatelly, Rayna doesn't know anything about that, which makes us, and everyone else, think that might not be a cure for them.
We also find out in this episode that Bonnie have been changing the pills of another patient in the mental institution to sugar pills. She ends up finding out about that and we end up finding out that, that patient, called Virginia, is part of the St. John familly (Enzo's family) and that her sister is the one in charge of The Armory.
Later in the episode we also find out that they want Bonnie because there's a Volt in Armory's basemant that was locked by a Bennet witch and only a Bennet witch can un-do the spell. What we didn't find out was what is inside that volt, which I'm dying to know.
And, of course, with such a big Bonnie storyline, we had to have a few Bonenzo moments, which was pretty nice!
Well, back to the main storyline of the episode...
Ambrose was not that happy about the fact that Damon didn't get to kill Rayna, so he kills everyone in that fraternity party and then goes after Stefan.
Damon and Alaric got just in time to save Stefan and Valerie ended up doing the spell and everything ended up 'fine'... Kind of.
There was a moment when Valerie was doind the 'switch' spell when she got inside Stefan's head and I really thought she was going to die, and I was pretty sad about it, because I was really starting to like their relationship. She ended up not dying but she left and left Stefan all alone, which was pretty sad to me as well.
And that was basically how the episode ended. I don't really remember what the previous for next showed but I'm really excited to know more about The Armory storyline, because, to be honest, that Rayna storyline is starting to be pretty boring.
Anyways... Tell me your thoughts about this episode in the comments (or in any of my social media - I'm @danixinhahhh in pretty much everywhere) and give me your predictions about the next few episodes, because we are really close to the end of Season 7.
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 4 Episode 18 - "Eleven-Fifty-Nine"

Spoiler Alert!

Omg! I just can't believe this episode happened! Seriously, must be Arrow's saddest episode. I'm still crying about it, and I already knew what's going to happen before I watched it!
Ok, so... First of all, I know I'm super late with this rant but I've been so busy with uni work that I just didn't have time to watch the episode, unfortunately, because I feel like it would have a much bigger impact on me if I didn't wait this long to watch it. The truth is, besides already seen photos of the episode when they were shooting it (in which we could see clearly that it was Laurel's name in the grave), there was so much spoilers about that episode on the internet. The first thing that I saw when I logged into my facebook account the day after the episode aired was photos of Laurel dying so... I feel like this episode wasn't that 'emotional' because I've already seen a lot of spoilers. Still, I cried, so it was pretty emotional anyways.
Now, getting more into the actual rant... The episode was basically all about Laurel, really. The fact that I already knew who was going to die before watching the episode, made me realize that it was pretty obvious to know who was going to die. If you see the episode closely, you see that everything was about Laurel, when she isn't that much in the picture in other episodes. Either her or Andy, but since the producers have already said that it was going to me one of the main characters... It had to be Laurel.
Anyways... The episode starts with Andy saying to Team Arrow about Malcolm's plan, in which they go after that 'lead' that Andy tells them, just to find out later that it was just a distraction and Malcolm actually went to the Arrow cave, while Thea and Laurel were there, and stole Darhk's idol (to give it to him, I might add).
They try to track Malcolm again and, again, they follow a lead given by Andy. I should also say that, by this time, Oliver already senses something about Andy. He doesn't believe that he changed and thinks he's still working for H.I.V.E.
It ends up to be another trap so Andy can find out about the missing piece from the idol.
Malcolm gives Darhk the idol but it still isn't complete, so Darhk demands Malcolm to find that missing piece or so Malcolm and Thea will have 'problems'.
After all those traps, Diggle ends up telling Andy that it was himself who hid the missing piece from the idol, not knowing that Andy have been following him all this time and that he just needed to know if it was really him who hid the piece.
Well, by that, we can already assume that Andy found the piece and... that's right.
After Darhk manages to take hostage the guards inside Iron Heights, as well and get free all the other prisioners, Team Arrow goes there to stop everything and... that's when everything goes down.
Everyone finds out about Andy still working for Darhk, Darhk gets the final piece of the idol and, consecutively, gets his magic back and... well... Darhk ends up stabbing Laurel with an arrow, saying that he made a promise to her father that, if he betrayed him, she would die... And that's what happened.
She is taken to the hospital, she has surgery and everything seems 'fine' but... at 11:59 she just dies.
I might say that what made me really sad wasn't really the fact that she died, but all the 'goodbyes' and, mostly, the non-goodbyes, because Captain Lance never got to tell her 'goodbye' or even tell her anything before she dies, which is so sad!
And they just ended it like that... Lance arriving to the hospital and seeing Oliver and just realizing that his daughter had just died.
It was a really really sad ending!
I seriously don't know what else to say so I'll just wait for what you guys have to say. Tell me all your thoughts about this episode! Also, let me know if it was Laurel the one you guyes thought was going to die, because for a long time I thought it was going to be Diggle.
Anyways, see you (I think) next week with a new Arrow rant and Saturday with a new TVD rant.
Love,
Daniela.

The Vampire Diaries | Season 7 Episode 17 - "I Went to the Woods"

Spoiler Alert!

Ok, I think I should start this rant by saying that this was probably the best episode of this season and one of TVD's best episodes of all time!
This episode was so intense and it made me feel all the feels! Besides, Paul Wesley did amazing in this episode, it made me realize why he has always been my favourite and why I love Stefan so much!
So, after last weeks episode, and after Nora and Mary Louise destroyed the Phoenix stone, everyone was wondering how Stefan was going to get back, because we knew that Stefan couldn't just be dead. We then find out that, because the stone was destroyed, every single vampire that was inside that stone got back to life, but with a twist, they weren't in their own bodies. Instead, they could end up in anyones body (as long as they were dead, I think) and so, as you can imagine, things didn't get well for Stefan. Stefan ended up in an human body and a serial killer vampire ended up inside Stefan's actual body.
But, Stefan didn't get inside any human body, he got inside the body of a drunk guy and that had just caused a massive car accident and so, he ends up running from the Police. Besides that, just like Jo, since Stefan wasn't inside his own body, he would start dying and he basically just had 3 days to get back to his own body, the thing is, the vampire that was inside Stefan's body, was enjoying it too much and I guess he just wasn't going to give up on that body (I still don't really know how that body thing works so I might have some things messed up, I'm sorry about that) so, when Damon was going to get Stefan back, the vampire that was inside Stefan's body just ran away and they find out later in the episode that he got back to the place were he used to kill before he was turned a vampire.
The best part of the episode, and the worst, was seeing Stefan struggle inside the human body. Besides being chased by the police, he was also hurt and he ended up stuck in a roadway while it was snowing but like heavly snowing. He was basically dying and seeing him so hurt was killing me, I felt so bad for him. And then, when Damon finally got to him it was also pretty sad and, as much as I'm linking this brother storyline, it hurts me to see them like that, mad at each other.
So, yeah, the episode was basically that. I kind of miss Bonnie in this last couple of episodes and, since we found out that Kat is leaving TVD in the end of Season 8... I wish we had more scenes with her. But I've seen some pictures and we are going to have some Bonenzo in the next episode! I seriously can't wait for that!
And, since I just can't not talk about The Originals (I hope you guys don't mind me talking a few bits about The Originals on TVD rants), here's a few things that I loved in this weeks episode; Well, it was basically everything! Just like TVD's episode, this week's The Originals episode was also pretty intense and I'm loving this new Lucien storyline. I mean, it has been his storyline since the beggining, from what we found out in this episode, but now it's more about him and I'm loving it! I Love Lucien and I just don't care that I might be the only one! Also, Kolvina was pretty cute in this episode and even thought it was kind of messy I'm loving the fact that it's not all 'rainbows and butterflies', I like me some drama!
Ok, that's it guys! I seriously can't wait for the next episodes and I just can't believe that the season is almost ending!
Anyways, let me know your thoughts about this episode (you can also tell me what you thought about The Oringals' episode) and I'll see you next with, hopefully, a new Arrow rant.
Love,
Daniela.

Shadowhunters | Season 1 Episode 13 - "Morning Star"

Spoiler Alert!

I can't believe this season has already come to an end! And what a ride it was! Starting with not even knowing if I should start doing the rants, going to not really feeling the show and, finally, completely falling in love with the story and the characters that it is almost an obsession!
It really was an incredible ride and, even though I'm not happy that the season is over and that I'm not thrilled with how it ended, it wasn't the worst scenario and it was, overall, a nice way to end.
I was so excited about this Finale that I even live tweeted for the first time with this show! I don't usually do because it airs on a Tuesday and, here in Portugal, at 2am, and I have classes in the morning the next day but, this time, I was that excited that I just didn't care and live tweeted anyway! And it was so good! I wish I could do it more often! Anyways...
So, the main to 'stories' in this episode were getting to Valentine (obviously) and waking up Jocelyn.
The episode starts with the Shadowhunters Team finding out about Hodge and going after him. Unfortunately, when they get to him, he has already give the Mortal Cup to Valentine.
One of my favourite parts of the episode was right at the beggining when Jace and Hodge fight! It was a pretty cool fight and I was so shocked when Jace cut Hodge's hand off! Omg...!
After that fight, Jace ends up putting Hodge's ring and talks to Valentine.
I felt like in this episode Jace was really lost and, because of that, he just went after Valentine all by himself. I mean, with Hodge but we already saw that Hodge is a taitor and we can't trust him so he was basically all by himself.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Shadowhunters team keeps after The Book Of The White so, to get it, they have to get to Camille so they head to Hotel DuMort. Obviously, Raphael doesn't want to wake up Camille so they come up with a plan and so while Izzy distracts Raphael, Simon and Clary go wake up Camille.
They do wake up Camille but, again, she wasn't just going to tell them where the book was. Instead, she says that she will tell them if Simon signs a contract saying that he wanted to be a Vampire.
At first I didn't really like that idea but I don't hate (at all) Vampire Simon so... It was kind of Ok.
Camille leads them to her apartment and that's when things go down. She doesn't really know where the book is so the Team has to search for it in the million books that she has.
Also, something that I really liked in this last couple of scenes (where Camille was) was the tension between Camille, Magnus and Alec. It was nice to see Alec kind of being jelous. I say kind of because we know that Alec isn't really a guy to show off his feelings so it was a little bit hard to tell if he was jelous but... I guess he was. And then just seeing Magnus apolagizing... It was so damn cute! You can see me obsessing over another ship.
Anyways... Clary finds the book and that's when Valentine shows up and... Jace agrees to leave with him so he won't hurt Clary, Alec, Izzy and the rest of the Team.
I guess this was supposed to be the 'high' moment of the episode but, to be honest, I was already expecting that. For me, it wasn't really a shock or a surprise. For me, the hight moment of the episode (besides Malec, obviously) was the very last scene!
So, after Valentine leaves with Jace, the rest of the team get back to the institute, with the book, and their mission now is to wake Jocelyn. With Magnus help (seriously, what would they do without Magnus?), well, it was basically just Magnus but yeah. He casts the spell and...
Jocelyn wakes up!
I was seriously doubting the fact that she would wake up but, she did and, for me, that was the 'high' moment of the episode.
Next, all we see is Valentine with Jace, in a ship, saying to all the 'shadowhunters' in his 'team' that they were going to, basically, 'rule the world'.
And, yeah, that's it, that's how the episode ends.
In my opinion, it wasn't the best episode of the season, for me, the episode in that spot is still the 'Malec' episode but, this one wasn't that bad either.
I wish it was more 'surprising'... I mean, maybe it was surprising for other people, but it just wasn't for me. That's the only major thing I would change in this episode. Besides that, I really liked the rest, all the tension between Camille, Magnus and Alec, the little Sizzy moments, the fight scenes... Everything else was great!
So, tell me your thoughts in the comments! Were you expecting this end? Was it surprising for you? Did you like how the season end? Let me know everything and, I'll see you, with a Shadowhunters post, when the next season starts.
Love,
Daniela.

The Vampire Diaries | Season 7 Episode 16 - "Days of Future Past"

Spoiler Alert!

WOW! So, after about a month TVD is finally back again!
I have to say that I was pretty curious about this episode because of how the last one ended. We knew that from now on we were going to just say what happens in 3 years time (which is now the Present time). I just didn't know that we also have flashbacks now, from 3 years ago (basically what happened before what's happening now).
We also knew, from the previews, that Damon was going to offer himself to get Stefan's scar transferred to him and that's exactly what happens.
I guess I should just say, before I get more into the rant, that the episode was pretty confusing and I might have some things messed up in my head so, just a warning that some things that I mention might not be 100% right.
Anyways so, after Rayna traps Stefan and we find out that Damon wants Stefan's scar, Stefan actually get out, with a pretty smart plan, actually! We runs away and takes Rayna's sword with him. Rayna goes after him and the sword, obviously, and I think she actually does care about him. I mean, I feel like she does believe he doesn't deserve the scar and so she keeps calling him to just get an agreement.
Of course Stefan doesn't agree and just keeps runing and, to buy him more time, he just leaves the sword somewhere else and keeps runing.
Something that we also see in this episode and that I quite enjoyed but I know a lot of people didn't, was the relationship between Stefan and Valerie. We do know that they are together as a couple but in this episode we find out how they got to get togehter in a romantic way. Basically, after Damon locked himself in that coffin Stefan didn't have anywhere else or anyone else to go to so he and Valerie just kind of 'teamed up' and just kept running and travelling around the world, both just running away from Rayna and trying to find out a way to take the scar out of Stefan.
We late find out that Valerie knew all along about the fact that the scar could be transfered to someone else, but she didn't say anything because it could only be to a blood relative and Stefan was so much better without Damon so she doesn't said anything.
I have to be honest with you, I don't 100% ship Steferie (?) but I ship it more than Steroline. I don't care what most people will say, I just prefer Stefan with Valerie and I do think they look kind of cute together.
Meanwhile, The Armory is also after Rayna and after Enzo.
As I said before, everything is a bit confusing, a lot happened that we don't know yet.
But, from what I understood (or think I understood), The Armory got Rayna and had her locked up during that 3 years time but someone got her out of there. Everyone thinks it's Enzo who did it, but we later find out that it was actually Matt. Also, Enzo run out of the Armory as well and took a bunch of magical pills (that I don't really know what they are for, I remember something about hidding someone or something) that we also find out that were for Bonnie (Bonenzo!).
So in order to get Enzo back, the girl who runs the Armory and which is actually Enzo's relative, kepts Nora and Mary Lou locked in there.
Let's just say that Mary Lou is basically dying so they blackmail Nora saying that if she gets Enzo back, she will tell everything about the pills (the magical pills) that Mary Lou was taking and that were making her sick.
Nore almost gets Enzo but they decided to make an exchange with The Armory and so they decide a place where everyone, and when I say everyone I mean, Stefan, Rayna, Damon, Valerie, Enzo, Nora, Mary Lou and the Armory girl, wil be so Nora gets Mary Lou and the Armory gets Rayna and it's just a huge plan that it's pretty difficult to explain.
The actually end up all at the same place but not at the same time. The First ones to get there are actually Stefan and Rayna. Let's just say that Rayna ends up 'killing' Stefan and so he's back inside the Phoenix stone again.
The next ones to get there are Enzo, Nora, Mary Lou and the Armory girl. Nora gets Mary Lou back but Rayna sees them and throws her sword at them. They try to excape but the sword hits Nora and so she gets a scar, which means she's marked and Rayna will be after her. Also, the sword gets inside the car that they were drive to try and get away. Since Mary Lou was already dying and Nora didn't want to live the rest of her life running from Rayna, they decide to take the sword and the phoenix stone's magic and... They just end up dying.
I never thought they death would make me so sad until the moment that it actually happened in this episode. I even cried! I'm going to miss them both so much!
Meanwhile, Valerie were trying to transfer Stefan's scar into Damon (before Stefan got killed) and that's when Valerie feels that Stefan doesn't have the scar anymore (because he's already dead). They arrive at the place that Stefan was and they see him laying (dead) on the ground, and  that's the end of the episode.
Overall, it was a good episode, but a little bit too confusing. It was also pretty sad because of all the Nora/Mary Lou thing, and because of her death in the end. And, I'm just not that sad about Stefan because we know that he's going to come back somehow, afterall, he's one of the main character and now, with no Nina, they wouldn't kill Stefan or Damon, so I'm just curious to know how are they getting him back again, since there's no phoeniz stone anymore.
Anyways, I guess that's enough for this rant because it is pretty long already! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and if I did get something wrong, please tell me.
Love,
Daniela.
