Arrow | Season 8 Episode 10 - "Fadeout"

Hello everybody!

Yes, the time has come. We have to say goodbye to Arrow. I took some time with this post, not because I was dealing with the end of the show, but because I had other stuff going on because, the truth is, I'm pretty happy with how the series ended. The episode did not have a story-line, that is the truth, but it's fine because we got the happy ending that we wanted (at least, I did) and really, overall, it was just an homage to the whole show and I loved that.

This last episode of the show really was a memory lane of all that makes the series great, starting with flashbacks. I'm not sure if there were new flashbacks or if we has seen them before (I'm pretty sure we did) but we saw something from when Oliver was only working with Diggle and going after the names on his father's list. That thing ties with the present, when one of those guys that Oliver killed, now, in this new universe, is alive and ends up kidnapping young William, who ends up being saved by older Mia who is invited to Oliver's funeral by Sara. And that is the main focus of the whole episode - Oliver's Funeral. 

The Funeral sparks a lot of comebacks and, since Oliver rebooted the Universe, basically all the characters are alive - Tommy, Quentin, Moira... Among with those cameos, at Oliver's Funeral were also Nyssa, Talia, Rory (Ragman) and, of course, the ones that have been in Oliver's life recently - Diggle, Lyla, Dinah, Laurel (Earth-2 Laurel), Rene, Thea, Roy and, of course, Felicity.

But speaking of Thea and Roy, probably my favorite part of the episode, was that Roy proposed to Thea and she said yes! I was so happy with that! Really! It never crossed my mind (I was way too focused on Olicity) but I loved that moment and I'm so happy for them!

Back to the Funeral, I forgot to mention that Barry and Kara also attended the Funeral, which was really sweet. I mean, I don't care much about Kara, but Barry had to me there! Barry and Oliver are probably my favorite bromance and Barry was there when Oliver died so he had to be at the Funeral. Also, I loved when Felicity said that she knew that Barry did everything he could because she knows him. That was so sweet! And, of course, we have to talk about Felicity! 

You all know that Felicity is my favorite character on the show and this finale wouldn't be the same without her, mainly, because of that very last scene!

In the very end, we see a flashback from last season, when Felicity goes with The Monitor to where Oliver was and, in this episode, we see where she went. They basically say it's the Afterlife, which probably means they are both dead, but they also mention that Oliver kind of still is the Spectre, which might mean that he's looking after all the other characters and I like to think that way and I like to think that Oliver and Felicity are living happily, wherever they are. And that is basically how the series ends. Olicity together! That was as close to an happy ending as we could get so I'm really happy with that!

But, before I end this post, I just wanted to touch on some other things that they mentioned about the other characters. 1) Rene is still running for Mayor (as we saw in the flash-forwards) 2) Dinah leaves Star City and that's probably how the events of the last episode end up happening and 3) the thing that we've been waiting for - Diggle as Green Lantern! Okay, it doesn't exactly happen but, as he's leaving with Lyla and the kids to Metropolis, he sees a meteor crash and finds a box containing an object emitting a green light, which can only mean one thing - Green Lantern. Also, he's moving to Metropolis and the Superman and Lois TV show is going to happen so... Is Diggle going to be on that?! I sure hope so because I want to see him as Green Lantern.

But yeah, I guess that's it for Arrow.

I'm really sad that one of my favorite series (another one, actually) has ended (and Supernatural is the next one) but I liked this ending and, unlike TVD, this was an happy ending so... I'm happy.

Arrow | Season 8 Episode 1 - "Starling City"

Hello guys!

Arrow is back for it's final season and, just like with Supernatural, it's a bittersweet feeling. I'm super stoked with this season (and after this episode I am even more) but it's the last one and I've been reviewing the series since season 4 (since I started following it properly) - that is a long time and seeing everything end always makes you a little sad.

But before it ends we have 10 episodes, starting with this one so let's get into it!

This season is all about the Crisis that is going to happen on episode 8 (at least, for Arrow is episode 8) and there's no real villain this season, which is a huge change! Personally, so far, I think it's turning out great! Also, alongside with that, this season is also a love letter to the fans and just a walk through memory lane with references to previous season and the come back of a lot of characters. This particular episode is all about Season 1 and we see come back not only Moira and Malcolm (as we see in the picture) but also Tommy, who has been in previous seasons, but just as an illusion inside Oliver's mind, and, my personal favorite, Adrian Chase is also back in this episode, with a great entrance, to be honest!

It took me a little to understand where all this fits in and what really was happening but turns out Oliver went to Earth-2 to get something that The Monitor wanted in regards to the Crisis - something that was only on Earth-2. The thing is, Oliver ends up in Lian-Yu and he has to do the same trajectory he did in Season 1, where he is found and goes back home basically to the same moment that was in the first season. The thing is, some things are different - Moira and Malcolm are married, Thea is dead and Adrian Chase is the Hood (aka Green Arrow). Also, Adrian is working with Laurel (aka Black Siren) who knows right away that this is Oliver from another Earth and, just like in Season 1, there's a Dark Archer but this time it isn't Malcolm, it is Tommy. The fight between Oliver and Tommy is pretty great as well as all the other fights in this episode, as they always are to be honest. 

There was not much to it, to be completely fair, but this whole memory lane thing was so great and I truly loved it.

Unfortunately they had to mess it up with flash-forwards which were completely useless and I really believe they could've cut them of and just focus on the 'present day' and everything to do with the Crisis.

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 21 - "Living Proof"

Hello everyone!

Well... It might be a brand new week of rants but... I'm not that happy with how it is starting.

It's really sad to say this at this time (since next episode is the Season Finale) but this episode was pretty boring. I was really excited after last week's episode because, even though I predicted most of what happened, and even though they basically wasted an whole episode just to let us know about Roy's situation, I really enjoyed the whole thing and, unfortunately, that didn't happen in this episode. Yes, there were some nice moments but... There was something about this episode that really put me off. I wanna say that it is mainly Emiko that just doesn't work for me as a villain but maybe it's also the fact that the flash-forwards were back and, if you can remember, last week's episode didn't have any flash-forwards and maybe that's the real issue not only in this episode but in this whole season.

I'm going to step away from this episode just for a minute but I really need to talk about this.

I was one of the people that was enjoying the flash-forwards in the beginning. I thought that it was really clever that they changed the flash-backs, which were one of the things that Arrow was known for, for flash-forwards, and I thought that was really cool. But as soon as they introduced Mia and as soon as we got to know everything, they stopped being cool and exciting. I think most of it is because they kill the suspense in the 'present day' - we already know who lived (and basically who died) so, even if something happens to them in the present, we know everything's going to be fine in the end (or not, depends on the character). So, overall, I think this season was just full of mistakes. It started out pretty great with the introduction of flash-forwards, Oliver in prison but, ever since Oliver got out of prison, everything went downhill and I'm really sad about that because Arrow is my favorite superhero show.

Anyway, now that I vented everything that I had to vent, let's really talk about the episode.

Like I said, I was pretty excited about this episode because everyone's life was at risk (even though we know most of them would survive) and, I don't know, I just know that I was excited about it and the episode even surprised right in the beginning when we saw Tommy. Yes, we knew that it was just a fragment of Oliver's mind or something but, nonetheless, it was a good surprise and something that I really wasn't expecting (since I'm pretty much always up to date with news and stuff). And that was one of the things that saved this episode.

Another thing that was great in this episode, and not trying to be biased, was Roy. Yes, we have Roy in the future but, for some odd reason, having Roy in the present is way better (maybe I just don't like the people he's interacting with in the future *cough*Mia*cough*). Something else that I need to mention (and not trying to be biased again) but I loved the talk between Dinah and Roy. I loved that Dinah haters basically got what they wanted with her saying sorry and everything and, I don't know about you, but I felt something there. Don't get me wrong, I love Thea and Roy but... I don't know, it never really crossed my mind but, after seeing them talking I got some type of vibe and now I really ship Dinah and Roy. And, to be completely fair, we don't know what happened between him and Thea because he's clearly not with her in the future so... He might still have a thing with Dinah?! Please, tell me I'm not the only one! (But maybe if I am, I don't care, I'm going to keep shipping them).

Well, I've talked about everything apart from the central point of this episode which was Oliver coming to his senses and basically not wanting to kill Emiko, which I don't really agree with but I get it. He has been working so hard to not kill again and to screw everything for that b*tch... Yeah... 

Needless to say that Team Arrow is able to save Oliver in time and go after Emiko.

Meanwhile, Felicity and Alena (who is helping her) are confronted by Emiko in the bunker and, only when Felicity reveals that she's pregnant that she 'gives up' and leaves (but not before stealing some stuff).

Post that, Emiko poses as Oliver and attacks the SCPD. Team Arrow go after her and Oliver has the chance to kill her but he decides not to do so and she escapes.

In the flash-forwards we see future Alena who we find out was the one to sell Archer to Galaxy One (not really surprised, we all knew that). William and Rene are also caught by the head of Galaxy One and Galaxy One also finds the rest of the future Team, and that's basically it.

The truth is, either way this ends, I don't really care?! I'm really sad to say this but it's the truth. Emiko doesn't do for as a villain and we know that most of the team is alive in the future so... I'm just curious to know how are they going to write Felicity off because, in the present day, they're probably going to send her away to raise Mia but in the future? I have no idea so, that's basically the only thing that I'm curious about. I hope they surprise me though (let's hope so).

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 20 - "Confessions"

Hi guys and welcome back to a brand new week of rants!

I'm actually pretty stoked to talk about this new Arrow episode because I kind of enjoyed it. I say 'kind of' because it was bit of mixed feelings. On one hand I really enjoyed myself while watching this but, on the other, this was way too predictable that I called the whole thing in the first 5 minutes. Nonetheless, it was great to shut up some people that were talking sh*t about Dinah (on twitter, I mean).

So, this whole episode basically plays backwards. We begin with a few scenes from the present and those scenes intertwine with scenes from the past, and then, it's pretty much your typical 'murder mystery' where you have to find out who killed a certain people. But, because there's always a twist in those movies, I knew something was up with this whole thing I called it in the first 5 minutes, that this was all part of a plan. Most people didn't realize it because they were too fed up with Dinah trying to blame Team Arrow for what happened and, in one way, the writers did great because Dinah have always been the one to doubt Team Arrow but again, I called because I've always defended Dinah and I knew this wasn't her, not anymore.

But I've talked too much before actually getting into the plot so, let's talk about it.

Like I said, Team Arrow is being blamed for killing two guards and so, Dinah and Sergeant Bingsley interrogate each and every Team Arrow member. In the mix of all of that, we learn that they asked Roy for help, which was so nice and I was so happy about.

The Team prevents the Ninth Circle from releasing their biological weapon but that's when they find the two guards dead. After the questioning about this, they blame it on Emiko and they are free, since their stories line up, and that's when we learn that this was all a story that they worked out together. It is also revealed that Roy was the one that killed the guards and that's when a lot of things make sense. Turns out, Roy died battling the Thanatos Guild and was then revived by Thea and Nyssa with a Lazarus Pit, and that's where all the blood lust and rage comes from. A bunch of people on twitter also guessed this so, props to them! 

Post that, Felicity locates the Ninth Circle's headquarters, where Oliver confronts Emiko, who reveals that she sent the security footage to the SCPD. Emiko also reveals that she had a role on Robert Queen's death and that she plans to destroy Oliver by making in a villain and dying like one. And then, she just blows up the building, burying Oliver and the majority of Team Arrow under it.

This were some shocking things! Yes, I guessed the whole plan thing and yes, the Lazarus thing with Roy was also kind of predictable, but before this episode, I had no idea so I think it was really cool to introduce this. This was also a pretty crazy way to end and episode and I'm really curious to see where they go with this because, not only we are 2 episodes way from the Season Finale, but next Season is going to be the last one. Plus, Emily is leaving this season and we know that she's alive in the future so... I really have no idea how they are going to wrap this season.

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 12 - "Emerald Archer"

Hello guys and welcome to a new week of rants!

We're starting in a good note with such an amazing episode of Arrow!

This episode was special for a lot of reasons! Not only it was pretty amazing, but it also was episode 150 of the show, which is a big landmark (and we are getting a few more episodes because CW just announced that Arrow was renewed for Season 8, which is amazing!). Because this was episode 150, they wanted it to feel different so this episode was in a documentary style, which was pretty dope! The episode wasn't actually all documentary style, which I thought it would be, but to be honest, I wish it would've been because I think it would make it even more interesting. Nonetheless, it was a pretty different and special episode with a lot to be happy about, one of them being the special appearances!

We had so many special guests in this episode! Because this was a documentary about Vigilantes, they talked with basically everyone that is related to Oliver so, not only Felicity, Diggle, Dinah and all the people that we have been seeing in the past seasons but also characters that have left quite some time ago such as Sara Lance, Thea and even Ragman, which we haven't seen in a long time! My favorite special appearance though was Barry (The Flash)! You know that I'm a sucker for Oliver and Barry together and, even though we didn't have them together in this episode, it was nice to have Barry be part of the Arrow (where he actually first appeared) as well as part of Oliver's documentary. This also made us see how different The Flash and Arrow are as shows, which I always appreciate.

William was also back for this episode and we are getting close to make sense of all the things that are happening in the Flash-Forwards. We see that William have been rebelling and that, actually, he was expelled from school (for what we don't know yet) and we also had a pretty interesting scene with William and Zoe, something that we haven't really seen before (just in flash-forwards) and where he kind of hints that he's gay.

Something that I really enjoyed about this episode were the Diggle and Oliver scenes. The truth is, they haven't been together much lately and they actually talk about that in the episode, where Diggle says that it's been basically a year since they've worked together. But this episode changed that and not only we saw Oliver and Diggle working together, but we also saw Team Arrow working all together, including Felicity, Rene and Curtis!

Obviously, because this wasn't just a documentary episode, we also had a bad guy that is going after vigilantes and that Team Arrow had to deal with. 

Oh, I would also like to mention that I really liked Dinah in this episode! You know that I love Dinah but in the beginning of the season she wasn't really the Dinah that I liked but in this episode she got back to her old self and I really loved her during all this episode! And mainly in the ending when, after Team Arrow is caught (because vigilantism is still illegal) she basically says she will no longer be Captain if her friends go to prison (and Oliver basically does the same). That's when the Mayor tells them that, without them, she would've been dead so she's promoting all of them to work in the SCPD and yeah, that's basically it.

I really really liked this episode! Most of the time the episodes are just 'okay' but this one was really good and I'm so happy about that! Let me know your thoughts on this 150th episode and I'll see you tomorrow with a new The Flash rant!

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 10 - "My Name Is Emiko Queen"

Hello guys and welcome to the mid-season premiere of Arrow!

Unfortunately, this time, I wasn't able to watch the episode live. Still, I managed to watch it today and so, as usual, I'm here to talk about it.

This episode left me a bit conflicted because, although I liked it, and there were some parts that I really did enjoy, there was also parts that got me really confused and I don't know how I feel about those, for example, the direction that the flash forwards are taking. Also, I didn't enjoy Emiko's character that much and I guess that's going to be a pain in the ass because, from the looks of it, it seems like she's going to be an huge part of the show from now one. But anyway...

As you can suspect by the title of the episode, basically everything revolves around Emiko and I really enjoyed the opening scene, with Oliver beginning his work with SCPD and finding blood belonging to the new vigilante.

Post that, Oliver takes the blood to Felicity, in a way to speed up the process, so she can find out who it belongs to. That's when Felicity reveals that the blood belongs to a woman (which was also a nice touch, saying that they were being a bit sexist) named Emiko, who is Oliver's biological sister as she shares his father's DNA.

This whole thing brings back some memories and some conflict inside Oliver, who begins to doubt if he ever truly knew his father. And that's basically what we see of Oliver in this episode.

Then, we move on to Emiko and really get to know the character.

We see her going to Rene for help after being injured in her quest for justice. We learn the whole thing about how Oliver's dad left them and how Emiko's mum was killed by someone - that someone being the person that Emiko is going after. This being kind of dangerous (it always is dangerous), Rene offers to fight alongside her and then brings Curtis to help them. In the end, they find out that the guy that Emiko thought killed her mum wasn't really who killed her and so we see her frustrated and beginning a new 'quest'.

The last main story line of the episode revolves around Diaz. Right away I got annoyed with this whole thing. I just wanted Diaz to be gone but, to be honest, I kind of liked the outcome of this. So, turns out, Diaz was taken into ARGUS custody in a way to get some information about Dante (I can't remember who that is but... anyway). As you can imagine, Diaz doesn't want to cooperate. That is, until Diggle offers him a deal - he gives Dante's real name (or whatever) and he goes free. I couldn't believe what I was hearing but then Diggle let us know the whole thing - Diaz gets into the Ghost Program - that whole thing where the bad guys get a bomb implanted in their neck. That I did like so... I'm kind of interested to see where this goes.

And, in the very end we see Emiko visiting her mother's grave, where she is confronted by Oliver.

It was a good way to finish the episode and it left me waiting for more.

What didn't leave me waiting for me was the whole flash forward with Rene being mayor of the Glades. It got me really confused so... I don't know what to think about that.

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 2 - "The Longbow Hunters"

Hello people!

Here I am, today, with a new Arrow rant. Unfortunately, not a good one.

It really pains me to say (I hate saying bad stuff about my favorite series) but this episode was really boring. I was really hopeful after the first episode, which got me really pumped for this season but this episode... it really disappointed me.

Just like in last season, this episode was heavily focused on Diaz and I thought I was okay with having the same villain but, I guess I'm not. With this episode I realized I'm really tired of Ricardo Diaz and I just can't wait for him to disappear or go away or something. I guess I'm feeling just like Felicity - I can't wait to get rid of him.

Also, I never thought I would say this about Arrow but the (now) flash-forwards are the best thing right now. And, in this episode, was the only thing that got me excited. It's really amazing finding out where people are in the future and, in that department, they are doing things really well.

Something else that I quite enjoyed were the prison scenes. There's a reason why the show is called Arrow and there's a reason why Stephen Amell is the lead. His parts of the episode were the best and, although those guys at the prison are pissing me off, I'm also pretty interested in everything that is happening to Oliver while he's in prison. Also, I don't know if I mentioned this in my previous Arrow rant, but Oliver's new 'sidekick' he's from an horror movie that I really love so it's funny having him now in the show. And I'm liking it.

I don't know what else to say about this episode because, apart from what I've already mentioned, everything else was boring. I liked Felicity though, and that Rene and Curtis helped her. That was nice as well. I guess I kind of enjoyed Dinah and Black Siren, even though I still hate Black Siren and I am still annoyed that Katie Cassidy is still part of the cast. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against her (even though I don't particularly like her) but, to be me, it just makes Laurel's death pointless and I just can't. I just can't!

Okay guys, I'm sorry for this really short rant but, the truth is, this episode didn't do it for me so I don't have much to say about it. Hopefully the next one will be better.

Arrow | Season 7 Episode 1 - "Inmate 4587"

Hello everyone!

I am finally here with the rant of Arrow's new season!

Well, I have to say, I was quite scared of this episode. After Supernatural's season premiere, which I didn't like, I was really afraid I wasn't going to like Arrow's as well, mainly because both series have been airing for quite some time and they are basically dealing with the same issue - changing things up, and you already know how I feel about changing. Even more with two of my favorite series!

Luckily, I did enjoy this episode and I'm quite curious for the rest of the season. It looks like them changing show runners was a good thing and I'm liking where this is going.

We get into this season five months after what happened last season. We see Oliver in prison, trying to keep a low profile in order to get his sentence reduced. We also see that this is extremely difficult because, not only people keep provoking him because they all know now that he's the Green Arrow, but also because there's Diaz's associates inside the prison who also want him to loose his temper.

Meanwhile, Felicity and William try to cope with witness protection program while Diggle and ARGUS keep looking for Diaz.

Something also starts happening in Star City, or should I say, someone. A knew vigilante dressed as Green Arrow appears and takes down some arms trafficking operations. This was something interesting, one of the best things in this episode.

With Diaz still alive, I was pretty curious about who would they have as a 'bad guy' this season. Where they going to keep Diaz as the bad guy? Are they introducing another bad guy and still have Diaz around? My bet was the first thing, and I still think it's the thing that it's going to happen, but now they introduced a new element (or should I say, two) and, I don't know about you, but my first thought was that this archer guy was Roy. I was half right, I guess. We already knew that Colton Haynes was back to the show and I saw in an interview that he said that he was going to come back in a 'weird' way. Well, now that I think about it... I guess I'm a bit confused with this whole thing. Maybe they will do some intertwining with The Flash... I don't know, but I'm going to jump straight into the end because it was the most interesting part.

The episode actually ended with a 'flashback' (or so I thought). We see someone go to Lian Yu and then get captured. We then find out that Roy is in the island, he was the one who captured this guy and, turns out, this guy is none other then William! Which makes this not a flashback but a flash-forward! This is huge for Arrow because they have never done this, so I'm quite excited! At the same time, I'm confused because if William is the archer guy that his in Star City right now, as an adult, does that mean that he came to the past?! Or his this archer guy Roy? I don't know, but I hope to find out answers soon.

This archer guy also raises a lot of questions in the remaining Team Arrow. While Rene kind of trusts him and thinks that he's doing what's right (which I kind of agree), Dinah doesn't agree with Rene and is set to arrest him.

Well, and I guess that's pretty much it.

Although the beginning of the episode wasn't that great, it came around and by the end I was really excited! Loved that last 'fight scene' with Oliver in prison and then, of course, the flash-forward was something really unexpected! Congrats Arrow!

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 16 - "The Thanatos Guild"

Hello!

So, like I said, here I am with a new Arrow rant!

Also, yes, I'm starting off with a pretty similar overall look on this episode as from the one I had on the Supernatural episode. I feel like this episode was also a filler. While the Supernatural episode was mainly done just for the crossover, I feel like this episode was just done to say goodbye to Willa, which it was actually.

Still, it pains me to say this but I feel like this episode was better than the Supernatural one, mainly because this one had some storyline development - the Dinah/Curtis part of the episode which, surprisingly, I really liked.

In the past episodes Dinah and all the NTA have been pissing me off but I'm really happy with them in this one. I'm just going to get this out of the way because, althought this one of my favourite things about this episode, there was so little of it. Basically Dinah, with Curtis' help, finally noticed that the Head of the Police is working for Diaz. Thank god because that way they are closer to 'distroy' Diaz, which is always good. From that storyline, that was basically it so, let's move to the main part of the episode.

Basically Nyssa comes to Star City for Thea, claiming that a splinter group from the League of Assassins, lead by a woman named Athena, are coming for her because of a map that only Malcolm knew about and where it was.

Thea decides to help her but just to find the map and then she leaves with Roy.

Obviously it doesn't end there. They do find the map, but it's inside some type of locked box and that's when Felicity comes in action.

Something else that I really enjoyed in this episode was all the girl power. Not only because of Thea and Nyssa, but also Felicity who helped a lot in this one (she always does, but still). And let's not forget about Dinah that was doing something else.

Anyway, soon enough Thea decides to go even further with this, which doesn't make Roy that happy.

At the same time, there's a really cute moment between Thea and Oliver that really cleared things up and which is going to cause some 'trouble' for the next episode, between Oliver and Diggle. Well, basically in this conversation, Oliver tells Thea that he likes to be the Green Arrow and he doesn't want to give up on that, and that's going to cause trouble with Diggle because Diggle really wantes to be the Green Arrow as well so... Yeah...

So, they open the box and discover a blank map. Luckily, after a fight with Athena and her group, they find how to reveal the ink in the map and discover that it is the way to find another Lazarus pit, to which Nyssa is pretty set to go after it and destroy it.

In the end, Thea, Roy and Nyssa depart to destroy the Lazarus Pits and Oliver says goodbye to them.

It was a pretty good ending though, with Roy and Thea still together and this leaves room for them to return if they ever want to. As well as for another storyline. Heck, even to create a spin-off, even thought I don't think they'll do that.

As you can see, this was all just to say goobye to Thea aka Willa because she wanted to leave the show. I liked it, but once again, a bit pointless. Unfortunatelly, I feel like the next episode is going to be a bit of a filler as well with all that fight between Diggle and Oliver but, let's see.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 15 - "Doppleganger"

Hello guys!

Prepare yourself - this is going to be a long post - because I just had so many mixed feelings about the episode.

As you can see by the banner, Roy was back for this episode, which was so damn exciting! They have been talking about having Colton Haynes back for so long that it finally happened and it was actually a pretty clever way to bring in back. However, I feel like this episode wasn't the best. Don't get me wrong, we had major things in the episode but, at the same time, we also had some really predictable ones and, I don't know if it was just me, but the beggining of the episode was really boring... I don't know so let's just get into it.

The episode actually begins with the last scene from last episode - Black Siren appearing and claiming to be Laurel, who had been kidnapped and kept locked up for two years. Of course this is all a cover up because she is, in fact, Black Siren.

I actually saw a theory on an arrow group saying that she had amnesia and that she really believed she was Laurel, which would be way more interesting, in my opinion, but no, they went with the cover up story - boring, but effective.

After that, Oliver learns that, because Cayden James is dead, they can't use Rene anymore as a witness so Oliver's lawyer believe they will drop all charges and they won't have a case. Turns out, they have another witness - Roy Harper.

While looking for him, Felicity comes across some information and they find out that Ricardo Diaz is the one behind everything, also finding about all the SCPD officers that are corrupted and are working for Diaz. Because of that, Oliver puts Quentin and Dinah working together to find who is turst worthy and who's not.

Meanwhile, they do find where they are keeping Roy and so they go rescue him, with this also bringing back Thea as Speedy, which was also nice. They actually can't rescue him the first time, and the second time they are 'played'. The third time they find out through Laurel aka Black Siren where Ricardo Diaz is keeping Roy and obviously this was part of Diaz plan but they take the chance anyway and actually, in that moment, Dinah offers to help Oliver but he refuses, saying if she doesn't trust him, he doesn't trust her either, which I don't know, I might be seeing things but I think this lets her a bit 'shook' and this might be the step that they needed to bring both teams back together again. I don't know, but let's see.

Oliver and John eventually take on Ricardo and his minions, who escape, but they do manage to rescue Roy.

I should also mention that, because of all of this, Oliver actually suggests to Thea that, after they get Roy back, that she should go with him. This isn't much of a surprise really, since everyone have been saying that Thea will leave and to be honest, everyone saw this coming. With Roy back, this would be the perfect oportunity to have her go away so... Yeah, not much of a surprise really.

Anyway, in the end, Roy and Thea spend an evening together, where they are observed by a woman from the League of Assassin's so... I don't know. This was a surprise but, if I'm being completely honest with you, I don't think we will see more of this storyline in this season. I mean, this could be the way she leaves but, it just looks like they are mixing a lot of things so that's why I doubt it. But, to be honest, I kind of got it wrong in my last post when I said they would only touch on Diaz storyline on episode 18 or something so, we could see more of this League storyline.

Oh, just one last thing before I end, we also found out in this episode that Anatoly isn't in the Bratva anymore, which was actually surprising. I know, not that important but I thought I should mention.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 14 - "Collision Course"

Here I am, like promised, with a brand new Arrow rant!

Just like The Flash (and Supernatural, which the rant will come next), Arrow got back from hiatus this week and with a pretty intense episode!

I've already kind of guessed that this would be a pretty big episode but it was even better than what I thought it would be! Ok, there were a lot of times where I was just pissed off at the NTA, specially Rene and Dinah (I'm sorry Juliana, I love you but Dinah has been really pissing me off this last couple of episodes. I guess you're doing your job right though.) and, at the same time, I actually felt bad for Curtis but, after that last bit of the episode... Damn! Curtis really let me down! But anyway, let's get into the whole plot of the episode.

Like we've seen in the preview that The CW put up on their Youtube Channel a few days ago, Dinah, Curtis and Rene are able to get some clues from the place where Laurel was last seen, finding out that she was dragged by someone who, possibly, took her.

Of course we already know who that someone is - Quentin - which we later find out that he took her to a cabin in the woods to allow her to heal.

With everything going on in the city, it's lack of money to keep things going, Oliver, finds that someone took the cash from Corto Maltese so he starts searching for who 'stole' the money and later find out that it was Laurel aka Black Siren.

In a way to try and get Laurel to 'contact' with Quentin, he comes up with some story just to get back to the cabin and to her. Thea finds the whole thing pretty strange and odd and she follows Quentin, finding out about him keeping Laurel in that Cabin and then telling Oliver and Team Arrow where she is.

Oliver demands the return of the money, which Laurel promises, if they get her out of the country before Dinah finds her.

After that, that's when things start getting really messy!

Actually, before that, Oliver messed up with Rene and the others which was actually just part of Rene's plan to get a bug on Oliver as a way to find out where Laurel was, which they do after Thea tells Oliver where she is. 

On the way to the cabin, they realize that they're being followed and that's when Felicity finds the bug.

Out of options, Curtis crosses the real line and deactivates the chip preventing John's tremors, allowing them to find Oliver, Felicity and John and hence finding Laurel.

After that, the real fight happens and Dinah even injuries Quentin after him refusing to let her kill Laurel. Also ending injured is Rene, who then has to go to the hospital. And, to top everything, while all this is happening, Oliver also throws a device that prohibits Dinah's scream, allowing Laurel to incapacitate them with her own scream and then escape.

The fight basically ends there and, actually being the good people that they are, Felicty and John go to the hospital to see how's Rene. They are met with Curtis and Dinah who turn them away (that's when Curtis is really harsh with them which, in a way, is really good, since his character in the comics is way more powerful than in the series but, at the same time, just made me really sad and angry at him, mostly because of how he made Felicity feel. It was clear that she was hurt and that hurt me too.) saying they want nothing to do with them anymore.

Then, in te very end of the episode, Laurel asks a van driver for help impersonating the 'real' Laurel saying thar she was kidnapped and kept locked up for two years.

Well, this last thing changes everything and I feel like they are going to focus on the Laurel storyline for a bit. Maybe not many episodes but I predict about 3 or 4 before they get really into the whole Diaz storyline. Of course they will touch on that throughout this next episodes, just like they did in this one but I guess they will only really get into it in episode 18 or 19.

Well, I guess that's pretty much it for this episode.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 13 - "The Devil's Greatest Trick"

Here it is, also, the last Arrow rant fora few weeks (yes, all the series are going to be on an hiatus for 2/3 weeks, unfortunatelly).

Unlike Supernatural, this Arrow episode wasn't that mindblowing. Actually, I thought it would be and, because I already knew about the hiatus, I thought it was going to end with a Bang but... well, for me, that didn't happen, and that's mostly what I'm going to talk about in this rant.

The episode begins with Cayden James threatening to set the bomb off at midnight. This was actually something unexpected because I thought his storyline was going to last longer, I'm glad it didn't thought, because I didn't really like how the story was going and, hopefully, it will get better from now on but still, it was a little bit unexpected. 

Anyway, just in time, Alena and Felicity are able to decode the video of Oliver killing Cayden's son, proving it was someone else to kill him and clearing Oliver's name. Actually, after this scene, and reading some tweets, I thought the person behind everything and 'manipulating' Cayden James was actually Alena. It was just interesting the fact that she came back a little bit out of no where and, suddenly, when she appears, they are able to decode everything and find everything so I thought it was her and to be honest, it would be a better plot twist than what really happened in the end of the episode but... I'll get into that.

Anyway, they show the real video to Cayden James to which he concludes that it was someone in his group so he demands that Team Arrow brings his former allies to him or he will set off the bomb.

The team brings Black Siren, Diaz and Anatoly to James, but Black Siren says she was behind his son's death which, after a few things happen, end in her getting free, being able to use her powers and allowing everyone but Cayden to escape.

In the end, Cayden realises that what he's doing is wrong and that his son wouldn't like what he's doing. I should also point out that during this episode we had some Cayden James flashbacks which was interesting and, kind of, made me like his character a little bit more. Oh, also, Cayden also realises that mainly because William showed up there, which was dumb but brave at the same time and well, everything ended fine in the end and Cayden surrendered.

While in custody, the real person behind it all approaches Cayden James - Ricardo Diaz. He reveals that he was the real person responsible for the death of Cayden's son and that he has the new police captain on his payroll, killing Cayden before he leaves.

I don't know about you but, like I said before, this reveal wasn't really surprising to me and I actually think it was kind of dull. Not only because everyone was saying it was him for the past 2/3 episodes but also because, to be completey honest, I don't even remember much from his character from the beginning of the season so, that says much about his character. I don't know, maybe it will turn out to be good but the reavel itself wasn't that great and a little bit disappointing.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 12 - "All for Nothing"

Hello everyone!

Sorry I took a little more time with this rant than I should.

The truth is I wasn't able watch the episode live yesterday (sadly) so I had to watch it today, which was hard to find some time to actually watch it. But I did, and I'm actually pretty sad I didn't live tweet because this episode was really good! As always, there were parts that I really enjoyed and others that were questionable but I'll get into all of that. The overall review is that this was really good - good storyline, good fight scenes, good one-liners and really good flashbacks, which was something that we didn't have for a few episodes and we had it again, which is always nice.

The episode started right were the previous one left of (or, at least, it looked like it) with Oliver transfering the money to Cayden James' account. We see Oliver really afraid with everything - one of those things being the fact that the city is almost out of money to pay Cayden. Because of that, the Team realises that they really need to find were the bomb that Cayden James has is located so, that way, Cayden won't have any leverage on them. 

Afraid that Cayden James will detonate the bomb sooner, Vince reaches out to both Team and everyone starts thinking of a way to find the bomb. Felicity comes up with a really elaborate plan (I mean, it wasn't that elaborate but it's really hard to explain so don't expect me to do that) and so, Vince agrees to enter James' server room to download datas that could lead the teams to find where the bomb is. That was actually one of my favourite scenes - two scenes actually - when Cayden doesn't know the code to enter the server room and Felicity tells him one that she thinks is the one to which Vince asks 'You think?' and after that Felicity says she's never wrong. I really liked that. And the other scene that I really liked was one that followed that one, when Felicity basically saves Vince and tells him exactly what to say to Cayden - like a lot of tech stuff and really elaborate things that only Felicity understands - which was pretty funny.

Vince is able to transmit the date to Felicity (and the Teams) but soon after that he's identified as the traitor and so Anatoly tortures him, and we know that Anatoly's torture is like really bad...

After that, they are able to find the location of the bomb but, at the same time, they find out that Vince is being tortured so Dinah, Rene and Curtis decide to go save vince while Oliver and Diggle went after the bomb.

Of course thing couldn't just go well (besides, it's only episode 12, there's still 10 more episode ahead so it couldn't all be over now) and turns out Cayden James predicted all of this and basically manipulated both Teams. The Vince rescue was just bait to get to them and to leave them vulnerable because, at the same time, the place were the bomb was was too big and Oliver and Diggle couldn't deal with all by themselves.

In the end, Black Siren kills Vince, while Dinah watches and Oliver and Diggle are unable to get the bomb before it is moved to another location.

However, and that's like the 'plot twist' of the episode, with the date that Felicity got (and with the help of Alena, I should mention) they retrieve the proof that, Cayden claims, shows Oliver killing his son (which, unfortunately, isn't Billy, which would be such a plot twist, I might say). That video is, in fact, fake and that's when they realise it was falsified using the same technology that was used to falsify the image of Oliver being the Green Arrow, which means it wasn't Cayden James who falsified the photo and that might be someone else manipulating Cayden, without him knowing, in order to take down Oliver.

This whole thing is really unexpected so I'm interested in where this is going. It looks like the Season is taking a turn for the better so let's see, I'm curious about this new 'plot twist'.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 11 - "We Fall"

Hello everyone! Here's the first rant of the day - Arrow!

I feel like I need to start by saying that this episode was so much better than the previous one and, actually, I think this might have been one of the best episodes this season so far. This haven't really been my favourite Arrow season but I must say that this episode was pretty good and, hopefully, the episodes will get better and better from now on.

Overall, this episode was an episode really focused on family (like the whole theme of this season) but mostly focused on Oliver's family/relationships, with Felicity and with William being the top ones, and starting of the episode right with a bonding scene between Oliver and William, which was pretty cute. Also, in that scene, there was a lot of other things that I really enjoyed, like Oliver's little 'pun' when he tells William to pick his The Flash backpack and go to school, that was really funny to me. And then, after that, the really cute moment between Oliver and Felicity. Sometimes, I even forget that they are actually married, maybe that's because they don't show it that often but in this scene they showed it very well and I just can't believe the writers kept them apart for a whole season when it's clear that they should, they need to be together.

Moving on, we see like that major event of this episode, which is Cayden James twisted plan to basically kill everyone in Star City by hacking into the eletronic devices and just mess with them and seriously, kill random people, and everything just for revenge of his son. Seriously, this storyline is almost as bad as Darhk's storyline. I don't get why Cayden James is doing what he's doing nor I understand what is his end game because this whole thing doesn't make any sense! Like Oliver said in the episode, if he wants revenge, why just don't expose him as the Green Arrow?! I mean, he said that he already did that but... I don't know man! All I know is that I've seen a theory on twitter about who's Cayden James' son and I totally support that theory - that it's Billy Malone! Cayden said that Oliver killed him 'by accident' while he was 'fighting' someone else and he killed Billy thinking that it was Adrian Chase so... Maybe it's him?! Also, they then said that Cayden must have got some bad intel because the timings of things doesn't match and stuff but, to be honest, I think that they just don't remember or something because they kept saying that Oliver hasn't killed anyone lately so, they must have forgotton.

Anyway, while all this is happening, some stuff is also going on with the New Team Arrow. Turns out Vigilante talked to them and said that he's infiltrated in the Cayden James group and that he also wants to take him down and then gives them some intel to stop part of Cayden's plan. At first, they didn't trust him but the intel checked out so they then got another intel and shared it with OTA. This whole episode was like 'we aren't together but we are working together' some type of thing. They weren't 'working' together but they were sharing intel and in the very end they fought together so... I think they are going to be all together in no time, just watch out.

And, one last thing before I end this rant... I need to talk about that scene between Felicity and William because that was an hell of a scene! So good! The way they did it, Felicity telling William why what Oliver is doing is important and so on while, at the same time, Oliver and the others were fighting, it was amazing! And not just that, but the actual conversation was really moving and the part where Felicity said that she loved Oliver since he brought her a laptop with a bullet?! That was just amazing and so cute and yeah, in the end, William understood and 'it's all good now'. At least, between William and Oliver.

And yeah, just a little side note, that William scene saving his whole class, was pretty badass as well. Really liked it!

Okay, I think that's everything for this rant!

Overall, this was a great episode and I seriously hope this gets better, mainly with the whole Cayden James storyline because, until now, it has been hella boring and just confusing.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 10 - "Divided"

Hello everyone!

This week was the comeback of basically all series and Arrow was one of those.

Althought this episode wasn't as good as The Flash's this week, I still think this gave us something different, which I'll get into depht in a minute (I still think Arrow has better storylines and stuff that The Flash though).

The episode was mainly centered on the fact that now Oliver has to basically do everything by themself because the team slipt up, like we saw in the mid-season finale. One thing that I was really surprised was the fact that the others (Rene, Curtis and Dinah) just stopped being vigilantes. I thought that they 'left' Oliver but were still working together. Well, in the end that's what happens but yeah, let's not jump too far ahead.

We see not only Oliver dealing with doing everything alone, but also see Diggle's struggle in trying to get better of his shaking. Felicity and Curtis are still working on the prototype to 'cure' him, which is nice, and there's this particular scene were Curtis goes to the bunker and Oliver is there and then Oliver says that it's fine him being there and that he appreciates Curtis helping Diggle. I don't know, was it just me or Oliver was throwing a little shade?! Well, the scene was actually funny which is nice to have on Arrow once in a while.

Apart from that, we also follow more of the Cayden James storyline and in the first 10 minutes of the episode both Felicity and Diggle find out about Cayden having a bug in the bunker in order to spy them, which is nice because that bug have been there for ages. Because of that, Oliver goes after Cayden James and that's when he finds about his whole crew - not only Black Siren but also Ricardo Diaz, Anatoli, Vigilante and maybe even someone else that I can't remember (I just know that there's a bunch of them).

Meanwhile, Cayden's crew approaches Jerry Bertinelli and give him an ultimatum: turn over his ports, or Cayden James will kill his daughter. 

After that, Bertinelli tries to contact Oliver aka Green Arrow. There's a bunch of Batman references in that scene, which I really liked because I love Batman but, in the end, Oliver refuses.

He goes back to the bunker and everything and tries to come up with a plan to take down Cayden James. A lot of stuff goes down and then he decides to make that plan with Jerry Bertinelli and the plan was actually working and of course a kick ass fight scene had to happen and there were a lot of similarities to Season 1 Oliver, which is nice and Oliver almost had them, that's when Cayden James gets all his crew and things just don't work well and Jerry Bertinelli is killed in the end.

In the very end, Oliver decides to just give up on 'being mad' with the rest of the team and just says sorry to Rene and everyone and, in that moment, I really thought they were going to get back together and everything but... they didn't. Which was actually good, to be honest. I mean, I really wanted to see them all working together, I hate Dinah and Curtis' attitude towards Oliver and the OTA right now and I just want them to get over it. Surprisingly, the one that I'm not that mad about is Rene, which was the one to testify against Oliver but, I guess I can see his point.

Anyway, they don't want to get the team back together, they say they can't trust Oliver yet and yeah, that's pretty much how the episode ends. And, like I was saying, this was actually good because I was expecting to things to work out, which is what usually happens, and that makes me really mad sometimes like, that doesn't really happen in the real world. In the real world people stay 'mad' for a while so it was nice to have them not get back togehter yet. Plus, this gives more room for storylines and everything so I look forward to it.

But, before I end, I need to say one thing. There's one thing that is making me mad about this whole thing which is not knowing what Cayden James' plan his. I mean, I trully believe a season is as good as it's villain and, so far, Cayden James is boring af, almost as bad as Darhk so, you see the drill. But, let's see... Maybe there's something 'good' coming.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 7 - "Thanksgiving"

Hello everyone!

First of all I wanna say I'm sorry for not being able to post this (and the Supernatural) rant yesterday. I got caught up with the Black Friday shopping and I arrived home pretty late so I just couldn't.

Anyway, today I stayed at home and took some time to watch the episode and Oh My! This was a really different episode in my opinion. When the producers said that this episode was going to be something else they weren't kidding, it really was! 

This episode got me feeling all the feels, starting right in the beginning of the episode with the FBI Agent arresting Oliver in front of William. Not only the last part make me really mad but just everything about here! She his really messing with my nerves and I just can't wait for her to die or something. Seriously, she left me feeling so pissed of this episode! Plus, she doesn't have any proof that Oliver is the Green Arrow (although she says she does) so can she just piss off?! I mean, from the end of the episode, it looks like she is going away for a while, or just during the crossover... Maybe after the crossover she will be back but, at least, she won't be boring us next week, which is nice!

So, back to the episode... Not only they had to deal with this but, at the same time, James and Black Siren started messing around again this time stealing some stuff able to make some type of bomb.

Diggle then, trying to stop James and Black Siren, gets injured and that's when Felicity, and then Oliver, find out about his injurie and Oliver and Diggle exchange some pretty harsh words, which left me pretty sad. Luckily, things ended fine with them, making me happy again. Unfortunately, things didn't end well when it comes to Diggle's injury because if he keeps doing what he's doing, he might get paralysed. That's when Oliver steps out as the Green Arrow (finally!) and go after Cayden and the bomb that he has in the stadium. They then discover that the bomb is fake and that the cops guarding the stadium aren't cops. They also find out that Cayden James only wanted to talk with the Green Arrow/Oliver to basically 'warn him' that when the city burns, that it's because Oliver did something to Cayden's son. That left a lot of question marks on our heads as well as in Team Arrow's heads so, I'm curious about that.

And, in the very end of the episode Thea wakes up from the coma, which was nice but, to be completely honest with you, it didn't really matter to me. Actually, I didn't even miss her in this last episodes. This might sound harsh but she could've just died in Lian Yu. Well, she should've died there. I mean, the only person that really died was William's mum. That made the ending of last season a little pointless. Ok, a lot of stuff happened to most of the characters but it made us think that a lot of them would be dead when, out of 10 (more or less) only 2/3 died, which isn't that exciting.

Anyway, apart from that, something else that I noticed about this episode was that we didn't have any flashbacks! I mean, the thing with the ending last season was that the flashbacks were going to end, but only the Lian Yu flashbacks, which meant there was still going to be some flashbacks and, until now, there was always some type of flashbacks - from the explosion last season, from Diggle, from Slade - but this episode there wasn't any flashbacks and, surprisingly, I was ok with that! When I first noticed it, it felt weird but I got used to it and I can deal with some episodes with no flashbacks. Of course Arrow won't be the same thing without flashbacks so I still want some from now and then but I'm ok with some episodes without flashbacks.

Well, that's pretty much it.

Arrow | Season 5 Episode 23 - "Lian Yu"

Oh my god, I'm still shook with this season finale.

This week, I got to watch the episode live and live tweet and I'm so glad I did, even thought it didn't really end like I wanted to.

A little bit like yesterday, this things didn't go my way and yes, I'm just going to get straight to it and say that Adrian died. You know I've been loving him (and I still do) and I really didn't want him to die but, in the end, he really did. But, before that, a lot of other things happened, which I quite enjoyed so let's break the episode down.

So, it started right where the last episode ended, with Oliver recruiting Slade to help him take down Chase. In that moment, we also learn that Slade no longer hates Oliver due to the Mirakuru completely out of his system.

Then, we see that Oliver also recruited Harkness and we also see both Slade and Harkness, with Oliver, Merlyn and Nyssa talking about weapons and stuff, when a missile hits their plane which destroys basically all their weapons.

With this happening, they decide to just start looking for Chase and all the people that he kidnapped.

They find Felicity, Curtis, Thea and William's Mother and, in that moment, Talia and Evelyn appear and we find out that it was actually a trap.

We also find out that Harkness was alread working for Chase and he tries to get Slade on his side too. Then, while I was watching live, it cut to commercial break and I really thought that Slade was going to turn against Oliver but, luckily, he didn't and he helped take down Evelyn but Talia and Harkness are able to escape. 

Anyway, they get to free Felicity, Curtis, Thea and William's Mother (Samantha) and they lock Evelyn where they were.

With that, they decide to slipt up and, I don't really like when, in series, they split the team, but in this case I think it was good so Oliver tasks Malcolm to take Felicity and the others to Adrian's plane in order to escape Liam Yu. And here starts all of my favourite scenes, beginning with an Olicity kiss!

You know I love Olicity as much, or maybe even more, as I love Adrian Chase so this moment was huge! Mostly because it was Felicity that kissed Oliver and this means Olicity is about to become real again so I can't wait for that!

After that, Malcolm leaves with Felicity and the others, while Slade, Oliver and Nyssa go find everyone else.

This was when something happened and it looked like Slade had turn on Oliver again but... it was just another part of their plan!

They find John, Rene, Dinah and Quentin and Oliver is able to give Dinah the device that Curtis made for her (I don't really remember what it was for) and she's able to 'scream' and free everyone.

Then, Quentin is able to knock out Black Siren to save Dinah while Nyssa defeats Talia, which was another of my favourite parts of the episode. I was really looking forward to this fight between the sisters and it was seriously really cool!

Meanwhile, Thea sets foot on a landmine and they have to come up with something. Malcolm wants to take her place but she's just stubborn, so Malcolm is forced to push her and take her place. He tells the others to leave and that's when Harkness finds Malcolm and we just hear the bomb go off.

I assumed Malcolm did something and that Harkness was the only one to die, but today Jonh Barrowman (who plays Malcolm) posted on instagram that Malcolm really died and that he no longer will be on the show, which is pretty sad. I wasn't expecting that at all!

Felicity and the others find the plane but that's when they find out that the whole island is rigged with C4, which will explode upon Chase's death. Because of that, I really thought that Adrian wasn't going to die, and it really seemed like it because while Adrian and Oliver were fighting, Oliver said that he wasn't going to kill him, but that was also the moment when everything started to go downhill (for Chase).

He eventually gets to escape so Oliver just tells Diggle to go meet Oliver and the others to help them get out of the island, since it would be Malcolm to fly the plan and he's no longer alive. So, Diggle does that and Oliver goes after Chase.

That's when he sees him in a boat (and that's when I understood what Adrian meant when he said, last episode, 'I'll see on the boat'). They have kind of a fight, but Adrian takes William and threatens Oliver, saying that he basically has to choose bettween William and everyone else because, if he kills him, everyone else will die but William will be safe, but if he doesn't kill him, he will kill William.

In that moment, I really thought that Oliver was going to choose everyone else, but that's when he shoots Adrian on the foot and takes William into his arms. And this is when everything happens.

We learn that the plane have been sabotaged by Chase, so they are not able to leave the island and, in that moment, Oliver tells everyone to run to a ship on the eastern shore but... Chase kills himself in that moment.

I just couldn't believe. I was (and still am) really sad. I really thought that he wasn't going to die because Oliver wasn't going to kill him but... He killed himself. And that isn't the only thing. Because he killed himself, all the C4 in the island explode and the episode ends with Oliver and William watching it in horror and we don't know what happened to everyone else!

I didn't take that that serious because we know they won't kill off Felicity, Diggle, Rene and Dinah (at least) because their series regulars and they didn't say anything about leaving the show, so they didn't die but still, it was a pretty shocking ending! So much better than The Flash's!

And, to end the rant, I need to talk about the last of the flashbacks. So, Oliver gets to kill Kovar and his men and reach the boat and time and call Moira saying that he's going home. And yeah, this is the end of the flashbacks.

I don't know how I feel about that. I was never a fan of the flashbacks but they were part of the show so... Let's see how the next season will be without them.

And this is the end of Season 5.

For me, this was one of Arrow's best season, if not the best one! I'm still sad/mad about Adrian's death but I was kind of expecting it, althought I had hope.

Besides that, everything else was perfect and I just can't wait for Season 6!

Arrow | Season 5 Episode 22- "Missing"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!

Here I am with a brand new Arrow rant. A little bit late, but it is here.

This is the penultimate episode of the season and, although I think this was just a set up for the finale, and there wasn't much about it, I enjoyed.

I'm going to 'cut the crap' and just say the truth. You already know that I freaking love Adrian Chase, so basically everyone episode that he's in is going to be a good one for me, and this one was the case.

The episode didn't have much but I just love Chase and I can't help it but mainly be into the episode because of him. 

Of course there was a lot of other moments that I enjoyed like the beginning of the episode with Oliver and Felicity in Oliver's Birthday Party and all the cute stuff. And I liked specially the fact that they are in fact trying to get back together, so that fills my Olicity shipper heart.

Like I said, the episode start with this but soon everything turns upside down when we see Curtis being kidnapped and find out that Rene and Dinah were kidnapped as well. Which means that Rene didn't go to the meeting with the judge because he was kidnapped, which is already better than he just not showing up.

Obviously they find out right away that this was Adrian's plan all along (just like I said in my previous rant) and that's when Oliver goes talk to him and we see that scene that was released earlier with Chase actually 'pretending' to be Oliver and actually knowing what he was going to say. I gotta say that I really enjoyed that scene. Josh Segarra is really good as Adrian Chase! Love it!

After that, Thea and Quentin are also kidnapped, this time by Black Siren and Evelyn (that bitch), still following Adrian's 'orders' and that's when Malcolm Merlyn shows up to Oliver wanting to help him, because Thea was kidnapped.

That was actually a surprise for me because I've seen him in the previews for the finale and such and I really thought that he was going to be on Adrian's team. But, to be honest, this makes sense. Only because of Thea though, but yeah, I kind of liked that.

Oliver and Malcolm try to kidnap Chase but that's when he reveals that he also kidnapped William, Oliver's son, and because of that Oliver is forced to free him.

Felicity and Diggle are also kidnapped, by Talia and the League of Assassins, which leads to Oliver recruiting Nyssa to help him and Malcolm fight Chase 'and his friends'.

This is when we get to the end of the episode.

Oliver than finds out that Adrian took everyone that he kidnapped to Lian Yu, to which, of course, Oliver flies there, with Malcolm and Nyssa and, the last scene we see, after Oliver arriving is him going to Slade and asking for his help.

We already knew that this was going to happen though. We knew that he was coming back and it wouldn't make sense to have Slade on Adrian's team, so it was obvious that he was going to be on Oliver's Team. Nonetheless, it was exciting and now it's when the fun is gonna start!

I'm seriously really excited for the last episode of this season! This is going to be an huge episode, with basically all the characters on the show (and even previous ones) and it's going to be an epic battle! I just hope they don't kill Adrian. I mean, Oliver said in this episode that he wasn't going to give him that satisfaction so... I assume he won't kill him?! I'm seriously praying he won't kill him because I love Adrian and I think he's such a good character! Besides, Josh is really good (and really hot) and I want to keep him around!

Besides, we know that Black Siren is going to be on the Team so, I'm also curious to know how they are going to do that. Although, I'm not really happy with that decision. I feel like they just can't let an actor go... I'm tired of this 'storyline' and I think they just did this to make Laurel's fans happy. Anyway, I can deal with that...

Before I end this rant, I need to talk a little bit about the flashbacks, which weren't amazing, but were interesting enough.

We saw Oliver with Kovar, after he kidpanned him. Kovar injects a drug on Oliver that makes him suffer with flashbacks to times he killed or watched others die over the last five years. After everything, he still manages to escape.

I don't know if we'll have flashbacks in the next episode, but I'd like to see some parts of the very first episode of Arrow. I think that would be cool.

Overall, it was a nice episode. Not my favourite, but Adrian makes everything better (I'm sorry to keep mentioning him, I just like him too much).
