Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 20 - "Carry On"

Hello everybody!  

Here it is, the very final Supernatural rant. I would be lying if I said I was fine- I'm not. Not only it's so sad that I won't be reviewing this show anymore (my second favorite all time show) but also it's just sad that the show is ending. (I also really regret not watching this earlier because it has been like 4/5 years since I started watching it and I could and should have watched it sooner. But that's a conversation for another time). And well, not only I'm sad that I won't have any new episodes, I also wasn't exactly happy with how it all ended, which is the perfect transitions to move on to my actual review.

I said in my latest review that I had no idea where this was going (well, I had two options, which kind of both happened). I always had my predictions though, and I stand by them (I still believe my theory was better than what ended up happening) but they went on a completely different and not good direction.

The episode actually began with Sam and Dean adapting to their 'normal' life - like doing laundry and making the bed and all that stuff that we 'normal people' do - and they also show that Dean adopted the dog that we saw in the last episode. It was pretty cute and funny, with them even going to a Pie Festival, which was priceless. However, things that to turn dark, and they went very dark very quickly. They come across a strange murder and kidnapping that turned out to be vampires - a case that their father worked on in 1986 but was never able to solve. The Winchesters capture one of the vampires using the pattern that John had established and with that they also find their nest. One of the vampires is Jenny who the Winchesters had encountered on their first vampires case (which, to be completely honest with you, I really can't remember her). Well, needless to say that the brothers fight the vampires but that's when things take a dark tone. They do take out all of the vampires, but in the middles of the fight, Dean is impaled on a metal spike and there's no way back. He can't move and he's slowly dying. All that's left is saying everything he needs to say to Sam and... That's it. This is also when things start not making a lot of sense. One, Sam didn't even try to save Dean. I mean, he said he would get someone but as soon as Dean said that it was over for him, and asks Sam to not do any deals because that always ends badly, Sam just gives up and 'accepts' Dean's death. That just didn't make sense to me because in all the other 14 seasons this exact same thing happened and Sam (nor Dean) ever stopped trying to save his brother so... This was just odd (and messy writing).

The images that followed were some of the saddest ones ever! Sam, by himself (well, with the dog), mourning Dean and trying to get on with his life. And eventually he takes on a job by himself, which was so sad. 

Then, we move to Dean's point of view and we see him in Heaven, where he's reunited with Bobby who reveals that Jack reshaped Heave with Castiel's help. That was nice, not only because we knew there was some happiness for Dean but also this meant that Castiel is alive, not in The Empty, and is with Jack, which is also cute. Then... Cue the montage.

Dean drives off through Heaven in the Impala while we see the life that Sam had - having kids, having a family, growing old and dying of natural causes. And, the episode ends with Sam and Dean reunited in Heaven after Sam's death. 

As I said in the beginning, it was a really bittersweet ending. On one hand I understand why they went with this ending - it's what made sense for the characters. Dean always said that he wanted to go down fighting and hunting, and Sam always wanted a family, so this all made sense in that way. However, it bugged me that this happened this soon, that Dean died this soon and the way he died. Like, they were fighting God last episode and they defeated him, but a nest of vampires and a metal spike?! That was too much for Dean. I don't know, it just seems farfetched to me that the were able to defeat God and a day later be killed by something so random as a metal spike. I would go with another ending, to be honest, but if they really wanted to do it this way, they should've done two more episodes - this episode should have been episode 22, and episode 20 and 21 should've been about them going back to hunting and to their 'normal life' after defeating god. Then, after establishing that some time had passed, then could have killed one of them. Of course, I wished they would get old together and die of old age together, but in that case I would be 'better' with their deaths. I don't know... That's just my thought...

And I guess that's pretty much what I have to say about the finale. I kind of wish the previous episode was the last episode now, but okay... More than anything I'm more sad that the show is over and that I won't be watching a new episode every single week. Also, because of that, I'll have to choose another show to cover here so... I'll see which show I'm feeling and I'll ask you guys on twitter or Instagram which show should I cover here on the blog, so stay tuned to my social media. Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 19 - "Inherit the Earth"

Wow! Wow! I don't know how this rant is going to turn out because this was a lot to take in.

Hello everybody! Here we are with Supernatural's second to last episode.

Once again, I'm sorry I'm one day late with this rant. I had a lot to do and, to be honest, I needed some time to process that episode that really felt like the last episode of the series! I know that we have another one (which I'm going to react to on my YouTube channel so stay tuned for that) but this one was just an ending. It really was and now I'm kind of confused.

Well, usually I start with how the episode started and all of that but, this time, I just need to get all of this things out of my chest. There was so much going on in this episode and I don't even know where to start. From the preview we knew they were going to meet with someone and, because of that 'previously' in the beginning, I figured it was Michael (also because I saw Jake Abel's name on the credits) so that's who they went to meet. Then later Lucifer appeared out of no where and that really was a shock to me. A lot of stuff went down between Lucifer 'helping' Sam and Dean, showing up with a reaper, killing it in order for this reaper to become Death and read God's book of his death. Actually, that was a great plan, if if wasn't for the fact that he killed this new Death before she read everything because this was all a plan from God to get his book. Luckily (or not), Michael kills Lucifer and there's that. The book was left open, however, and so they started working on a way to translate it which ended up in them doing a spell which revealed Michael's betrayal when God appeared. That betrayal was for nothing though because then God killed him. With that, God had enough of the Winchesters and decided to just end them, but not before getting his hands dirty and punching them over and over. That was when the brothers revealed that all of this was part of their plan. They noticed what was going on with Jack (the thing about him killing plants) which turns out he was not killing things, he was 'capturing' their energy and, because of that, he was getting more powerful by the minute. With Michael killing Lucifer, Jack absorbed Lucifer's energy and later on, after God kills Michael he also absorbed Michael's energy and, if that wasn't enough, he absorbed God's energy from all the punching. All of this just made him super powerful - more powerful than God - and that was 'the end'. Jack absorbed all of God's power, leaving God just a regular human and Jack... Well, basically God. To that, Sam and Dean decided to not kill God and just leave him being a 'nobody'. Jack brought everyone back (the world) but we don't know anything about the people from the other world and we also don't know if he brought Castiel back. (and like that I just said everything about the episode)

The episode really ended with Jack disappearing because he's not God and the brothers going back to the bunker, having a toast to the people that they lost along the way, them getting into the Impala and driving into the sunset while a montage of all the other seasons played. And that really looked like a Season Finale.

After that, I was basically in denial. I know there's one episode left but this really felt like the end and I was not prepared. The whole thing also didn't play out like I thought it would. I always said that Sam would become God - guess I was wrong about that. And in my last rant I said that Dean would be Amara and Jack would be Death. Well, I don't think that's going to happen either. However, I do believe my ending would've been better. Not that I didn't like this episode/ending. It was as close to an happy ending as we would ever get, and I'm so proud of Jack. He's character arc is beautiful - this basically tells that, even if you come from a 'bad place' (being Lucifer's child), you're in control of yourself and your decisions and you don't need to be a bad person, you can over come it and now look - he's God. That was beautiful! But, in a way, it was easy. A lot happened in this episode but God's actual defeat was a bit anti-climatic so I have mixed feelings.

Also, there's a final episode. What is going to happen?! It looks like everything is dealt with so... I have two predictions. 1) Either the next episode is how they life went on, like growing old and whatnot or 2) this whole episode 19 was 'fake' and there's a big plot twist in the end. Also, the preview showed something with them leaving a set which automatically made me think that the show would end saying that this was all a show and 'none of that ever happened' (like the character's aren't real) which would suck, to be honest. Either way, I'm really curious to see how everything is going to end, even though I will be so sad.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 18 - "Despair"

Like, REALLY big spoilers ahead this time!

Hello everybody! I didn't know what I had ahead of me when I watched this episode and I had no idea that I would have to write something like this so soon!

That's right everybody. Three episodes away from the finale we loose our first Team Free Will member. I'm just going to rip the band-aid right away and say it - RIP Castiel. Yes, we lost Castiel this soon and, although we knew this would most likely happen, I was not prepared and I certainly didn't see this coming (at least, not in this episode). But, as per usual, I'm getting ahead of myself. There's a ton of stuff that happens in this episode so, let's start in the beginning.

So, you know how that last episode ended - with God leaving, Jack almost dying and the preview suggesting that Billie would be the new enemy to take out. Oh, how we were wrong! The episode starts right away with Billie appearing, taking take of Jack aka sending him to The Empty to explode there (the only place that could take that amount of energy and power). Then, Billie admits her plan and asks Sam for her book in exchange for bringing Jack back from The Empty. I was so not okay with this but Sam does indeed give her the book and yes, she brings Jack back. However, Jack is back to 'normal' and doesn't have his powers back. But even with that, Billie reads how God's death is going to be now that things changed and, for some reason, says that Jack can still help and tries to take him back with her, which, surprisingly, Dean says no and injures Death with her own scythe, forcing her to leave without Jack, the book or her scythe. Shortly after that, another problem rises - people from the Apocalypse World start disappearing.

Assuming that Death is the one behind this disappearances, Sam starts working with Charlie, Bobby, Donna and Jack to find a place and protect the people from that world while Dean and Castiel hunt Billie. When confronting Billie, Dean and Castiel are faced with something new - Billie tells them that she's not the one behind the vanishes but, instead, it is God. That's also when she reveals that when Dean injured her he didn't just do that - that wound is actually killing her and, as she's bound to die, the last thing she wants to do is kill Dean. So she chases Dean and Castiel and that's when Castiel realizes that Death is too strong and only The Empty can stop her. And that's when things get a bit bittersweet. 

Cas tells Dean about the deal that he made with The Empty and finally experiences a moment of true happiness when he reveals his feelings for Dean. That scene, for me, although it was so sentimental and really 'sad', it was also so corny and... Ugh, in the end, I didn't really like it because it was so obvious it was to please the Destiel shippers. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love their friendship but this was clearly to please the hardcore Destiel shippers and it's kind of bad how a show goes to those lengths just to please a group of people... I mean, I love when shows do something for the fans but this looks a bit too much. I don't know, it just felt off to me. 

Anyway, after that declaration, The Empty appears and absorbs both Billie and Castiel. That leaves Dean all alone mourning his friend. And, at the same time, all the people from the Apocalypse World, and not only them, disappear leaving Sam and Jack all alone. And with everyone gone, Sam, Dean and Jack are faced with the fact that they're all alone on this and only them can face God.

The ending, as well as the preview, are so stressful. I thought I had an idea where the show was going but I don't think I know anything anymore. I mean, I still stand by my prediction of Sam being God but I read another theory that complements my own which is, indeed, Sam will be God, but also Dean will be Amara aka the Darkness, Castiel the new Empty and Jack the new Death which, if we think about it, makes a lot of sense. One has already happened - Castiel 'died' and went to The Empty so that might come into play again, then we also see in this episode that Jack has some new power that makes things die so that really supports the idea of him becoming Death and then it's kind of obvious, and I've been saying this for awhile, Sam has always been the good one so he has to become God and then there can't be light without darkness and Dean has always been the 'darker' one so, I never thought about that but he can become the Darkness (Sam and Dean are also brothers, just like Chuck and Amara) and he can also stay on Earth and still fight monsters because, let's be honest, the show has to end with, at least, one of them still haunting. I don't know, I feel like that theory, which supports what I've been saying for a long time, is something that is nice and impactful at the same time and a great way to end the series.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 15 - "Gimme Shelter"

Hello everybody!

Back with a new Supernatural rant and, although this didn't develop the main story again (just like last episode) I feel like this one was a lot more enjoyable. 

This one followed a lot more Cas and Jack, while Sam and Dean took a bit of a backseat. What the brothers did in the episode is actually important for the main plot but this episode was really dedicated to Cas and even more to Jack - which we find out why by the end of the episode.

So, let's start with Sam and Dean's story-line because that's shorter and easier to explain. They basically go after Amara to kill her (I can't exactly remember why they need to do that but I'll just roll with it) and when they find her (or more like when she finds them) she tells the brothers that she and Chuck were actually conjoined twins and their separations was what caused the Big Bang. The Winchesters plan is to get Amara to think that they need her to lock Chuck which she says no to up until Dean confronts her about her bringing back Mary. She ends up kind of agreeing to help them so... That's the end of Dean and Sam's story for this episode.

As for Jack and Castiel they go investigate a murder that, turns out, it's just a 'normal' non-supernatural murder. But, with all that has been going on, Castiel agrees to keep on investigating this 'human case', which makes Jack very happy. And this dynamic was what made me love this episode so much. Jack has become an equal to Sam, Dean and Cas in the eyes of the fans and, I think I can talk for everyone, we always want a bit more of Jack. And an only Cas/Jack investigation was something that I didn't know I needed but I was very happy that I got it.

The murder part of this episode was very interesting because it was a mix of Saw - with some really gory scenes and interesting torture devices - and Seven - with the killer going after people that have sinned. Well, int he end, it is revealed that the killer is the pastor's daughter from the center that everyone that was killed attended.

With the case resolved, Cas and Jack head back to the bunker and that's when Jack drops a bomb not only on Cas but also on all of us - that Billie's spell is turning him into a bomb that will cause Chuck and Amara to die but it will also kill him (Jack). I mean, I'm not really surprised. Someone has to die in the end of the show and Jack would be a 'good one'. He's not Sam and Dean, which would make fans really sad, but he's loved almost as much as the brothers and will have the same emotional impact without making the fans angry, which would happen if any of the brothers die. Something must happen to them by the end of the show, I'm sure, but I don't think they'll die. Actually, I have a new addition to my theory - I always said that Sam is going to be the new God. Well, with all this Amara thing and finding out that they were twins and their separation created the Big Bag, I think Dean will be the new Darkness. Sam and Dean are brothers, Dean has always been the darkest/angrier one and Dean even said in this episode that he and Amara had a thing which, is true, but in this case I feel like it means something else. So yeah, that's my new theory - Sam is God and Dean the Darkness.

Anyway, the episode actually ends with Castiel going to find another way where Jack doesn't die but before he tells Dean that there's something he needs to know and... The episode just ends like that. I'm really curious to see what the next episode brings! We are really in the final stretch so... I just want this season to be worth it and have a fairly good ending.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 11 - "The Gamblers"

Hello again!

Well, I go from a pretty down rant (arrow) to a super exciting one (for now). I take back what I said about this episode in my last Supernatural rant. This episode was so good! I don't know if it was better than the previous one, but for sure it was equally good.

Last week's episode relied a lot on the funny stuff and just honoring previous episodes/seasons while this week's episode made the story move forward, which I always appreciate. Of course, they had to, since this was the Mid-Season Finale and next episode will only air in March... But let's get back to the episode.

So, as expected, we follow the brothers to Alaska, looking for the place Garth told them about. Turns out, this magical place is a bar where people bet their luck in games of pool. Well, Dean being the cocky son of a b*tch that he is, is super thrilled about the pool, as he's amazing at it. And, in the beginning, everything goes well, but of course, they start noticing something is wrong about the place (well, Sam does which just shows the type of person that he is) and they soon find out that the place is run by the pagan goddess Fortuna who later explains that she's actually pissed at God as well. And, although Sam and Dean loose against her, she chooses to restore their luck anyway after impressing her and showing that they are true heroes. I don't know about you, but I feel like there's a lot of hints throughout this season to how the series will end and, so far, I stick to my initial prediction - the brothers winning, killing God and Sam replacing him. 

But anyway, this episode wasn't just about the brothers. Oh no, we got Jack back! They addressed it in episode 9, in the very end, but I thought it would take some time to actually have him be part of the story but I guess I was wrong. This was a really nice surprise and I loved that they had a side story in this episode not only with Jack but with Cas as well. That's right, Cas is the one that learns out about Jack and he is also the one that finds him. Castiel finds out that Jack is targeting Grigori (which I did not remember them) who are fallen angels that feed on innocent souls and well... Jack kills them and eats their hearts.

After finding him, Cas takes Jack back to the bunker and that's when we have our family back together again! Really, that was such a nice moment, Sam and Dean finding Jack and alive and hugging him and everything... It was really cute. 

And then, in the end, Jack explains that Billie kept him hidden in the Empty, waiting for God to leave to resurrect him. He also tells them that Billie has a plan and that he's being following her plan which, if he keeps following it, he will be strong enough to kill God - which makes my prediction even stronger. I saw people saying that Jack will replace God but... I don't thin so. I think Jack will be the one to kill him but someone will have to replace God and I'm pretty sure it will be Sam. There's no way the series will end with both brothers alive and well. There's just no way. And, to be honest, the better way is to have Sam be God and just visit Dean every time he wants to. Or, Dean can die and Sam will be God and they can both be in Heaven. That would look weirdly similar to Arrow's ending but well, that's a possibility. Personally, I would rather have Sam be God and Dean be alive... And probably Jack will die in the end. I don't know about that last bit, but someone has to die.

Anyway, this are my thoughts on the episode and my predictions for the finale. I know there's still a few episodes left but we can keep theorizing.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 9 - "The Trap"

Hello people!

Well, I'm sorry I'm posting this a day late but you know the drill. I was busy with something else... Anyway, that doesn't matter. What matters is that there's a new Supernatural episode and it was freaking amazing!

This episode of Supernatural was so much better than the end of Crisis. Not that I should comparing the two, but they are both series that I love deeply and Crisis was something that I was really looking forward to and, in the end, just one episode of Supernatural was better. But anyway, let's properly talk about the episode.

If you really think about it, this episode dragged a bit. The Chuck/Sam part of the episode, really didn't give us much, but still, it was so damn entertaining that we didn't feel like it was dragging. It's amazing, really! And starting with that story-line, it was revealed that Sam bringing Eileen back to life was Chuck's plan all along (what isn't? I mean, he's God, he's writing everything so I don't know why we didn't think that before). And then, the remaining of the episode, as far as that story-line go, it was just Chuck showing Sam what will happen if they defeat him, which obviously doesn't end well. There's actually a lot of interesting things in what Chuck shows Sam, one of them being that Sam and Dean end up turning into Vampires and killing Jody in the end. I mean, that's something that I really don't want to see in the end, like when the show ends, but wouldn't it be interesting if they were showing us how the series will end? That would be kind of cool, even if I don't like that ending. Also, seeing Dean as a Vampire was way too funny and I couldn't take him seriously.

At the same time Sam is seeing this, Dean and Castiel return to Purgatory in search of a Leviathan Blossom, which they learn sprouts when a Leviathan dies. And again, of course something has to happen and the two are ambushed by Leviathans working for a vengeful Eve. Still, in the end, they manage to 'win' and return with the blossom. Also, I think it's important to mention and Castiel and Dean finally make amends. It was a pretty touching scene, when Castiel just 'vanishes' and Dean wakes up and can't find him. Because of that, he prays to Castiel and apologizes for everything, and he even cries! It was really cute, and it was about time!

Back from Purgatory, Dean and Cas worry on the spell to defeat God but, when they arrive to the place where Chuck has Sam, Sam refuses to complete the spell, after seeing what might happen if they defeat Chuck and, because of that, Chuck regains his full power back and Sam's wound heals. In the end it is revealed that he wound was there because Sam still had hope, but after what Chuck showed him, he lost his hope and God became powerful again.

I felt really bad for Sam in that moment. Basically they «lost» because of him, but it was so nice to see Dean support Sam after that. And straight away they decided they had to come up with another plan and... That's when two of the most exciting things of the episode happen! One, Sam and Eileen finally kissed! Yes! I know Supernatural is not made of ships but I truly ship Sam and Eileen and I was so happy to see that finally happening. Sure, after that Eileen left, having doubts about what was real and what was not (about Sam's feelings, mainly) but still, it was such a nice moment and I hope Sam gets somehow a happy ending.

But then, something that I've been waiting for for so long happened - Jack! Yes, in the very end, in the Empty, Billie tells Jack that "its time" and the episode ends. It was just a few seconds but it got so hyped for the next episodes!

Next episode is going to be 'kind of' a filler one, but from the preview it looks like it's going to be a fun one, with Dean and Sam having 'normal people problems' and that sounds to me like a really funny episode, can't wait for that!

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 6 - "Golden Time"

Hello everyone!

Yeah... Once again, I was completely wrong my this week's episode of Supernatural. It looks like all this episodes have been disguised as 'case of the week' but really, they are so much more. Actually, this episode does include a 'case of the week', but in a different way.

But before I start, I need to say that I've been so happy with this season! Just like in Arrow, they are taking all the series' best hits and just going down memory lane. Just a truly good and memorable final season (at least, so far). Okay, with that said, I can get into this week's episode.

It looks like every week we have a different old character coming back, and this week we had Eileen! Eileen was one of those characters that I loved and I was so sad when she died. Luckily, because of all the things that happened in hell, she came back as a ghost and, obviously, the brothers tried to help her.

Eileen got away from Hell once God opened the doors and now she's afraid to come back, so the brothers come up with something - using Rowena's journals to create a Soul Catcher to contain her. However, when Sam goes to Rowena's place, he finds a spell Rowena was creating that could potentially bring Eileen to life. But of course, things couldn't be that easy and right away two witches who also want that spell attack and kidnap Sam. As you can imagine, some fights go down but, in true Supernatural fashion, Dean shows up and both of them with Eileen's help (as a ghost) they take care of the witches (Sam using a spell that he learned from Rowena and just making my heart warm so proud of what he learned from her and just the reminder of their 'relationship').

At the same time, we get to see what Castiel is up to. Turns out he's kind of on vacation, that is until he hears of some murders in the area and starts investigating. This kind of made me sad that they didn't get a bit deeper into it because the monster in this case was a djinn and those are one of my favorite type of monsters. But still, it was a good part of the episode and, in the end, Castiel did manage to help a mother that was looking for her kid, saving the kid and killing the djinn. 

The episode then ends with not only a pretty touching scene between Sam and Dean but also Eileen's resurrection! Yes, the spell worked and Eileen is back, which I'm so happy about! Sam can be finally happy with someone (other than Dean, of course) (and yes, I'm one of those people that ships Sam and Eileen).

And yeah, that's pretty much it for this week's episode.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 5 - "Proverbs 17:3"

Hello guys!

Final rant of the week.

This week's Supernatural episode was disguised as a case of the week. I say disguised because there was so much more to this episode. I was shocked! Seriously, I thought I was in for something and then they just switched to something completely different and, you know what? I'm so glad they did! Don't get me wrong, I love the 'case of the week' type of episode, but this is the final season so they have to step it up a notch and they did exactly that with this episode.

Once again, the episode opens with another of Sam's nightmare, following by a case of five strange deaths in Colorado, which they pretty soon learn are from werewolves.

The werewolves, brothers Andy and Josh, kidnap the last survivor of their attacks after Dean unexpectedly falls sleep. This whole thing was really sketchy since the beginning. As Sam said in the episode, it was too easy. They discovered it was werewolves, they had a survivor who clearly saw the attackers, they found them right away... It was way too easy and since they got to the girl I knew something was up, I just didn't know what.

But anyway, after the kidnapping, luckily, Dean and Sam know who are the werewolves and pretty soon they get to their cabin. There's a fight, of course, and in the end, Andy, who hates what they are doing, kills his brother and then kills himself.

By this time it was only the middle of the episode so of course there had to be a twist.

Turns out the girl the Winchesters were protecting was Lilith, resurrected by God from the Empty and in search of the gun that Sam used to kill God. Of course the brothers don't want to give her the gun but, this time, she's not as nice and she's still pretty powerful so she paralyzes them and finds the gun which she immediately destroys. After that she reveals that God's intended endgame is for the Winchesters to kill each other and that's when Sam makes the connection. 

After arriving in the bunker, Sam tells Dean about the nightmares and says that they might be God's possible endings and that she's seeing them because of the link created when he shot God. 

The episode ends with the brothers lost because the thought they had been free from God and, after all, he's still writing their story.

To be completely honest, I have no idea how the boys are going to get out of this. All I know is that they're going to need as much help as they can get, and that might possible include Lucifer, who knows. Either way, this season is looking pretty good and, my only complain right now is the lack of Jack and Castiel. I just want those two back and I'm happy.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 3 - "The Rupture"

Hello everyone.

So... How are you all holding up?

This was an insanely intense and crazy episode! I was not prepared! I have to say, after years watching this show I've picked up some hints and I could tell that something was about to happen because of the stuff that they mentioned in the 'Then' but I certainly wasn't ready. And mainly because this is only episode 3 and we already have 3 major deaths. Yes, that's right, if you didn't watch the episode this is one that I urge you to watch before reading this review because this will have major spoilers!

I thought, how the last one ended, that they would be fine with the barrier but... I guess I was wrong, because this episode started right away with Rowena trying a spell to strengthen the barrier but discovering that it is already too weak and there's nothing she can do. But, this is the beginning of the episode so you know they will come up with something else. In this case it is Belphegor that offers a solution. Basically all they have to do is retrieve Lilith's crook from Hell and use it to draw in all of the ghosts while Rowena and Sam perform a spell to close the rupture. As they work on that that's when we get introduced to Ardat. I actually didn't think we would get to know her this soon in the season but everything is happening so fast this time so I don't know what to expect anymore. 

Anyway, that's when we meet her that we have our first death - Ketch. That's right, I wasn't prepared for it and, surprisingly, I was upset. I used to hate him and now I'm actually sad that he died so... Things do really change.

Ardat kills Ketch and goes after Belphegor. She finds him and Castiel in Hell and that's when she reveals that Belphegor is using the Winchesters to gain power in Hell for himself. Belphegor kills Ardat and starts drawing the souls to himself but that's when Castiel gets enough of him (Belphegor) and kills him for good, destroying the crook in the process as well as Jack's body. And here we get our second death. It's not major major but it means that Jack won't have a body in case he comes back (which I'm pretty sure he will). I don't know how they're going to work around that but Alex was promoted to a series regular so he's for sure coming back so... I'm curious to see how that's going to happen.

Well, with no other way to close the rupture, Rowena decides to use a spell that requires a sacrifice of her own life to draw the souls into herself and then go to Hell. This means that Sam has to be the one to actually kill her since that's how her fate is written. Reluctantly Sam does so and the everything works as planned - the souls are drawn to Rowena and she falls into the rupture, into Hell and the rupture is closed and Rowena is dead - third death of the episode. It was pretty sad but at the same time gave Rowena such a good complete ending that I'm not that mad. I mean, maybe we will see her in Hell but, as far as we know, she's dead but she died a hero!

But it doesn't end there. As we see the Winchesters devastated by the deaths of Ketch and Rowena, Dean snaps at Cas and tells hims that it was all his fault for killing Belphegor and being irresponsible. Realizing that Dean still resents him, Cas decides to leave since he's getting weaker and that there's nothing more for him to do... It was a pretty sad ending and, from the preview, it looks like we're getting a 'case of the week' next episode which, by the way, isn't next week - only November 7. Also, I just realized that next episode is going to be directed by Jensen Ackles so, I'm curious.

And well, that's pretty much it. Sad episode, which makes me afraid for how the series is going to end. I'm prepared to have one of the brothers die, to be honest, but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Supernatural | Season 15 Episode 1 - "Back and to the Future"

Hello guys and Welcome to the beginning of the end.

That's right, Supernatural is back with it's final season and it gives you a bittersweet feeling. I'm super stoked that one of my favorite series is back but, at the same time, you just can't get out of your mind that this will be the last season and that just puts you down right away. I'm sure it hit me harder because it's the first episode and, as soon as the season starts to picks up, I will forget about it and I'll only be reminded once it gets to the final three episodes.

But anyway, I'm here to talk about the final season premiere and that's what we're going to do.

The season picks up right where the last one ended and we see the Winchesters and Castiel barricade themselves inside a mausoleum in an attempt to get away from the 'zombies' outside (irony because their dad is in The Walking Dead, I just can't help but find that kind of funny). 

For a moment I had completely forgotten that Jack had died but that was short-lived (kind of). Jack did not exactly got back to life but he was possessed by the demon Belphegor who, I might tell you already, I'm starting to be a big fan of. It's weird to see Alex play anyone other than Jack (even if I did see him before on Arrow playing another character) but this demon is so damn funny and Alex does an amazing job portraying him so, as much as I love Jack and I want him back, I'm fine with having Alex play this demon for a while.

Anyway so Belphegor offers to help blasting the souls out of the reanimated corpses and that's what he does. After that, they realize what they really are up against this season - all the souls and creatures that they sent to hell throughout the years so they come up with a plan to keep all the ghosts in one town and evacuate all the people in that town.

At the same time they do that, some familiar ghosts appear and attack our heroes - Constance Welch (the woman in white), John Wayne Gacy and Mary Worthington (who I refuse to spell the way we know her - yes, I'm superstitious like that). Even with all those ghosts getting in the way, they successfully, get everyone out of the town and Belphegor does the spell that traps all the ghosts in said town.

But, if all of this wasn't enough, there's something else wrong - Sam. After shooting god Sam got shot himself also (as we knew he would) but the gunshot wound is different and not only Castiel isn't able to heal it but he also got a strange feeling from it so, I bet that's going to tie with the end of the season and, I might be reading too much into it but my theory is that Sam is going to die in the end. There's no way it all ends well so yeah, my bet, for now, is that Sam is going to be the one to die.

And well, the episode basically ends like that, with the brothers agreeing to face this 'end of the world' again and being free from God once and for all. 

I liked this first episode. It gave me a lot of season 1 vibes, not only with the ghosts that were in that same season but also all the atmosphere and the scares which I have to say, the first seasons were way scarier that this last ones. All in all, great season premiere, I'm going to be waiting for me.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 20 - "Moriah"

Hello guys!

So here I am, as promised, with the Supernatural Season 14 Finale rant, and what a finale!

I have to say, after the last couple of episodes, I went in with pretty low expectations and then, after the first few minutes, I really didn't think this would go out with a bang but... Oh boy! How I was wrong! I would even dare to say that this was the most epic season finale Supernatural has ever had and, after 14 seasons, they sure have some pretty big season finales! But this one! They sure are setting up the last season to be one of the best and that makes me so excited!

As we saw in the end of last episode, Dean's plan didn't really work that well and Jack was able to get out of the box. Luckily, he didn't do much damage to them because I really thought Jack would be really pissed and just kill them or something. He was pissed, sure, and he did attack them, but he fled pretty quickly and didn't waist any time in wrecking havoc (not on purpose though). I can't really blame Jack, to be honest, about what he did because I myself I'm a firm believer that you should never lie (and I can't even lie about anything, I feel so damn guilty) so I get why Jack made everyone say the truth all the time but then, he found himself in a situation where he had lied before, when he visited his grandparents and they tell him that they know he lied. 

At the same time Jack is doing all that, the Winchesters try to track him, and that's when God appears! I really wasn't expecting him so early in the episode and I was so excited about him being back! That was, until the last part of the episode, where he really pissed me off (but I'll get into that).

God does kind of help them and undoes what Jack did but when it comes to actually do something with Jack, he just can't. He warns them about Jack being a grave threat and that they must deal with him. For that, God gives them a weapon that can kill Jack, but it will also kill the person that handles the gun and so, it starts that thing between Sam and Dean where Dean wants to be the one to kill Jack and Sam just disagrees with the whole thing and even starts getting suspicious of God's motives.

Castiel also disagrees with the whole thing about killing Jack and even goes looking for him and that's one of the best moments happen, with such a cute talk between Castiel and Jack, just like a father and son talk, so damn sweet!

Unfortunately, Dean interrupts that moment and shows up in the cemetery where Castiel and Jack are, ready to kill Jack but, as he's about to kill him, he just can't bring himself to actually do it and just 'gives up'.

That's when God reveals that he has been manipulating the situation like a story that he writes and is angered about Dean not being able to kill Jack. Post that, God does it himself - he kills Jack, which was such an wow moment for me, followed by an even bigger moment where Sam tries to kill God with the gun and also shooting himself in the process. It then cut to commercial but, when the episode comes back, we see that Sam just hit him in the shoulder and both of them where okay. But, as you can imagine, God wasn't happy with what Sam did and so, he decides to end the world, turning the world into darkness and unleashing every soul from Hell, all the monsters that Sam and Dean sent there, all of them back - we even get to see the lady in the road (such a throwback from season 1).

But, that's not really the end. Before the episode actually ends, we see Jack in The Empty, first seeing the Shadow and then being approached by Billie who tells him that they need to talk about the current situation, which leads me to believe that we will see more of Jack in the future.

I actually saw a pretty good predictions where Jack will defeat God and become the new God and create more angels and everything and that's how the series will end. I'm fine with that, to be honest, but it's still too early to make assumptions so... Let's see what the last season brings!

I don't know about you but I'm extremely happy with this Season Finale and so excited for the next and final season. I'm probably going to react in video for the series finale but there's still a long way till then so... Let's not worry things.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 19 - "Jack in the Box"

Hey peeps!

A bunch of rants in the same day, huh?!

I'm finally caught up on Supernatural and... I can I say I was underwhelmed?! I don't know if it was because I was extremely sleepy while watching this episode but it really didn't get my attention the way I thought it would (having in mind that this is the second to last episode of the season). I so disagree with everything that happened in this episode and ugh! I knew this wasn't going to end well (obviously!) and I'm with Jack on all this. It was extremely bad from Dean to try and trick Jack but I also have to criticize Sam because he went along with it. Sam should've said no because it obviously wouldn't work...

Anyway so, this whole episode, a bit like the last one, has a pretty simple premise - finding Jack.

While the brothers and Castiel keep looking for Jack, Duma finds him and starts using him to create more angels. Poor Jack is so thrilled about this because he thinks he's doing good and helping...

Luckily, Castiel finds out about what is happening in heaven and, in a really big twist, he kills Duma, which really shocked me.

And then, comes the really wrong part of the episode.

Dean comes up with the idea to lock Jack in the Ma'lak Box but at his own free will. The thing is, in order to have Jack agree into going inside box, they agree to basically lie to him and say that it's only temporary until they work out a spell (or whatever) to get is soul back.

Obviously things go south and Jack gets himself free of the box and the episode ends, but we can only imagine that he's pissed and he's probably going to be Lucifer 2.0 (which I don't know how I feel about that).

The only redeeming thing in this episode is the fact that Castiel completely disagrees with what the brothers did and he's basically the only one to remember that Jack is, in fact, only 2 years old. Poor Jack. Seriously, I felt really sorry for him and, usually, I agree with the brothers but in this... Nope, sorry! I'm with Jack!

Let me know where do you stand in this.

We know that in the next episode aka Season Finale, Chuck is going to make an appearance so, hopefully, it will be to restore Jack's soul.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 17 - "Game Night"

Hello everyone!

I know, I'm a bit late with this rant but, not only I have been trying to catch up on other stuff but, to be honest, I also didn't feel like talking about this episode, maybe because it wasn't that great.

Yes, unfortunately, this wasn't my favorite episode. It did end with a pretty big cliffhanger (and with an even bigger preview for next episode) but most of this week's Supernatural's episode felt a bit odd. Overall, it felt rushed and a bit all over the place and I was really confused throughout the whole thing (and not a good confused).

The basic premise of this episode was Nick trying to get Lucifer back into himself (what's new?!), starting with capturing Donatello as part of this complex ritual to do so. Needless to say that the Winchesters manage to save Donatello and prevent Lucifer from being back, sending him back to The Empty. The only issue was that, in the end, Jack ended up killing Nick, not that I blame him though. The truth is, this whole thing was a plot to make Jack 'turn' bad and I don't know how I feel about it. To be honest, I'm not even mad that Jack killed Nick. Nick was starting to get really annoying and, as much as I loved Lucifer and as much as I kind of missed him, this was just recycling the same story again and I'm ready to be done with Lucifer, as well as Nick so, I'm fine with Jack killing Nick. What I'm not fine with is the producers possibly making Jack the bad guy next season - I really don't want that. Unfortunately, it looks like it, mainly because, in the end of the episode, Jack did something to Mary, something that we didn't see so, she could be fine, she could be hurt or she could be even dead (which I wouldn't mad either, to be honest, I was never Mary's biggest fan). That was an huge cliffhanger and then, on top of that, they showed a preview where it looks like Dean and Castiel are going to separate ways and 'be mad' at each other, what makes me really sad. But let's see, might not be what it looks like.

Oh, speaking of Castiel, I might just add that in this episode we had a bit of Castiel and Anael trying to find a way to contact God which, not only was something nice (also to have Jensen's wife back) but also because they brought back the necklace that Dean used to wear all the time, which was such a throwback.

I don't think I have much more to say. Like I said, this wasn't my favorite episode and I felt weird about it but I'm excited about the next one.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 16 - "Don't Go in the Woods"

Hello guys.

This post comes really in a bad time. Last night's episode was actually really funny but after today's news... I just can't. As if ending Arrow wasn't enough... Season 15 is also going to be Supernatural's last. That's right guys, the news came out today. I don't know why but they decided to end the show after next season and I'm just devastated. All my favorite shows are ending and, not only I won't have content for the blog anymore, but it's also a part of me, a part of my life, that will also end. TVD's end was the end of an era in my life and I believe this is the end of another era. I don't know what the universe is trying to say but it seems like they're saying that I'm too old to fan-girl about shows and... I just don't like that. But, anyway, I'm rambling now. Yes, it's so sad that another of my favorite shows is ending, but we still have a bit of time (Season 15 is going to have 20 episodes, from what I've read) and there's last night's episode to talk about so... Let's do it!

Like I said, this week's episode was also another fun one. Not as fun as the last one though, but it was nice - another case of the week with a sprinkler of Jack in is own story-line.

The episode actually begins in Polk City, Iowa, where a young couple is attacked by a monster which kills the girl. So, as you can expect, the brothers find about this and decide to head over to Iowa, but leaving Jack behind in the bunker.

Sam and Dean discover that they are facing a legendary monster called kohonta which the local sheriff reveals is a man that was cursed by the Native Americans for being a cannibal. Long story short, the Winchesters and the sheriff kill the kohonta and save the sheriff's son from it. Of course it wasn't that easy, it never is, but you already know the deal so I guess I don't have much explaining to do. Plus, there wasn't much to that story, to be honest. Yes, the monster was pretty gross and this episode gave us some Season 1 vibes but, apart from that, there wasn't much else. Well, there was a part where the sheriff asks the brothers why don't they let the whole world know about the monsters, like do some YouTube videos or something and, in one way, I found it really funny, imagining Sam and Dean doing some videos on how to kill a demon or something but, on the other hand, it gave me an idea of how the next season could be or, right now, after finding about the end of the series, how the show might end and... I'm kind of scared right now.

But anyway... At the same time all of that was happening with Sam and Dean, Jack befriends the local kids that know about the supernatural after that episode where they had an encounter with the ghost of John Wayne Gacy. The whole story-line with Jack and the kids was really funny - starting with him trying to buy beer and not having an ID, moving to him giving Elliot some books about monsters and... So many things about that part of the episode were super cute. Until Jack tries to show off his powers and almost killing Stacy with an angel blade. You know how Jack is, he gets really carried away and... like he mentioned in this episode, he's 2 years old in reality so, it's normal for him to act that way. I can't help but feel sad for him, really, because after that, the three kids just didn't care about him and sent him away. Poor Jack.

And, in the end, after arriving, the Winchesters admit the truth to Jack about why they left him behind, but Jack lies about what he did that day, which makes me kind of nervous, to be honest. And this was the episode.

Like I said, a lot of Season 1 vibes. Kind of chill but kind of heavy at the same time and, as we are approaching the end of the season, the episodes are going to get more serious and, from the looks of it, the next one is going to be good so... Let's see.

Unfortunately, the show only comes back in the beginning of April so... Another show on hiatus. It looks like it's just Arrow and The Challenge next week.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 15 - "Peace of Mind"

Hello guys!

Here I am, once again, with a brand new Supernatural episode!

This has been a great week, with all my favorite series having great episodes - Supernatural being one of those as well. Even though this didn't really move the story (which I don't really know where it's heading), it was extremely funny and, with all the dramatic episodes we have been having, it was nice to see Supernatural get back into it's funny self. The truth is, basically all their problems were resolved in the last episode so they could 'chill' in this brand new one.

Besides it being really funny, we saw something different. There was a case of the week type of thing but, instead of Sam and Dean going to resolve it, Sam went with Castiel, and Dean stayed at home with Jack in order to help him (since he got his powers back and even some more from Michael).

The Sam/Castiel part of the episode was the funny one. They basically got themselves in a really old school and 'happy' town which ended up Sam like we can see in the banner - thinking that he's someone else and being all 'put together' with glasses and a little bun. Just Sam's look was funny but the Castiel lines were the ones that really got me. I loved Castiel in this episode! I mean, I always love him, but this really made Castiel (and Misha) shine and, in the end, Cas was the one in charge and the one that had to resolve everything, something that never happens. Well, in the end we discover that there's a guy that basically created this town. He has some psychic powers and that's why he was able to do it. As you can imagine, they were able to 'destroy' him but I was a little let down with that because they usually explain what type of monster they are facing and, this time, they didn't, and I wanted to know what type of monster he was (if anyone has any idea, please tell me, because I would really like to know).

Then, the Dean/Jack section of the episode was the more dramatic one. Dean didn't really do anything really, but he got Jack to talk to Donatello about the lack of his soul and what Jack might be going through and... I just love Jack! He's so pure! I loved the fact that they mentioned that he might be the most powerful creature in the universe and, even though he might be, he's still so pure and that's really adorable. I also loved that he said that Sam and Dean are the best people that he know - that really warmed my heart.

Overall, this was such a pleasing episode, I just don't know where they are heading with this, and thinking that we only have 5 episodes left... I'm a bit afraid, but let's see.

Next episode it looks like it's going to be another 'case of the week', but it looks like it's going to be a gross one so I'm excited!

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 11 - "Damaged Goods"

Hello guys!

So, as per usual, a little late with this rant but let's just get pass that and talk about the latest Supernatural episode.

This was a really 'interesting' episode for me. After how the last one ended, I was really curious so to see where the story was headed - plus, I saw Nick in the trailer so I was curious about all that as well - unfortunately, the Nick part of the episode was just... Boring.

The episode started pretty well with Dean acting strangely and departing the bunker to visit Mary and Donna. Right away, I liked to see a bit of Donna in this episode and we had a pretty nice one-on-one moment between Dean and Donna that doesn't happen often so... That was nice! Also, I can't get other that 'He hugged me!' scene with Sam. I saw it a bunch of times in the preview and every time it cracks me up. Anyway so, Dean goes to Donna's cabin to spend some time with Mary but not just that - and that's when we see him start building something in Donna's cabin's workshop.

Later, Mary finds out about what Dean is building (with us, the audience, still unaware of what it really is) and alerts Sam who travels to Hibbing, Minnesota to confront his brother. After that, that's when the episode takes a turn for the worst.

We get into Nick's part of the episode and we see him continuing his bloody  rampage of revenge by searching for Abraxas, who he then learns was captured by Mary while slaughtering a Girl Scout troop. Of course, finding about that, Nick goes after Mary, kidnaps her and forces her to lead him to a storage unit where Abraxas is trapped inside an Enochian box.

The boys learn about what is happening with Mary and so, with the help of Donna, they track down Nick as he releases Abraxas into someone else that he kidnapped. The expected happens and, as things are getting worse, Abraxas confesses what everyone already knew - that he killed Nick's family on Lucifer's orders. Finding about this, Nick kills Abraxas with an angel blade, getting his revenge and then is arrested by Donna. And, apparently, we are done with Nick's story. Obviously that's not it because I still suspect that Lucifer is going to be back and maybe even help the boys really kills Michael but, for now, that's it. And that's also when we get back to the good part of the episode.

Dean reveals to Sam that he built a box that can permanently contain even an archangel as according to Billie - being the only option that they really have. That's when we find out what really is Dean's plan - to trap himself with Michael for eternity at the bottom of the ocean. Of course Sam doesn't take that that well (neither did I, by the way) but in the end, Sam agrees with Dean and that really worried me. Of course we know that that's probably not going to happen and, if it does, they'll find a loophole or something because we still have 9 episodes left in this season and there's no way we're going to spend those remaining episodes without Dean so... I'm curious to see how things will work out. 

We can't also forget about the whole thing with Castiel and The Empty so... Just gonna keep that in mind.

I seriously hope they get done with the Michael story-line because it's getting a bit boring in my opinion. But anyway... Let me know your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you in my next rant!

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 7 - "Unhuman Nature"

Hello guys!

So... It seems like I've been saying this a lot but, once again, I'm sorry I took way too long with this rant. The truth is, I wasn't able to post on Friday and then I just didn't feel like in the weekend so... I just got around to it now. I hope you forgive.

This episode had quite a lot but still not enough to make me love it (and for sure not after that amazing Arrow episode) but it had some big twists! As we were expecting, the main focus on this episode was Jack and his well-being, but that wasn't all. There was another equally important story-line in this episode - Nick. That's right, Nick is back and we see that he's not doing so great, just like Jack.

The episode actually begins with the brothers taking Jack to the hospital, which was funny. We never see the boys do such mundane things, even less go to hospitals, so it was pretty funny see the medical system that we have, the boys dealing with it and then trying to fill a file about Jack. That was so funny! But, as you can expect, the trip to the hospital led to nowhere so they had to recur to someone else, and that's when Sam asks for Rowena's help.

Rowena determines that Jack's condition is a result of his human and angel sides attacking each other without his grace maintaining the balance. With Rowena not able to do anything else, Sam decides to contact a shaman for help, while Jack decides to live his life to the fullest while he can, and that's when Dean joins in. Also, we have to note that, through out all this, Dean have been displaying some mysterious dizziness so... There's more to this than meets the eye.

Sergei, the shaman, provides Castiel with some of Gabriel's grace (my baby Gabriel) and a spell to fix Jack's condition, of course, in exchange for a favor from the Winchesters when the time appears. Rowena performs the spell, but Jack ends up getting worse, and that's when Sergei tells Castiel that it was an experiment. At last, Rowena proclaims that there is nothing more they can do for Jack but be there for him as he dies.

And as if this whole thing with Jack wasn't enough, there's a lot more happening with Nick.

Turns out that, based on the information that he learned from his former neighbor Arty, Nick is able to track down a cop, who he tortures for information about his family's murders. At last, the cop reveals that he was the one who killed Nick's family after encountering a man named Abraxas, who Nick realizes was a demon that ended up possessing the cop. 

So, you'd think that, now that he's got what he was looking for he was going to stop. Well, you're dead wrong. Nick ends up killing the cop anyway and that's when the most unexpected thing happened! Nick realizes that he enjoyed killing and enjoyed being Lucifer's vessel and so he prays to him (Lucifer). That's when we see some skeletal figure with red eyes rising from the Empty!

Like, what was that plot twist?! I sure wasn't expecting it.

Well, in a way, I wish they weren't doing this. I mean, I love Mark Pellegrino and I loved him as Lucifer but... How many times have we been through this?! Lucifer have been killed like 5 times and brought back to life right after. I'm getting a bit tired of that. He should've died in season 5 like, almost 10 seasons ago. I know I'm sounding really angry but it just tires me. They did the exact same thing with Laurel on Arrow and I hated it. Yes, I like Lucifer and Mark Pellegrino as him, which helps but... I don't know. Let me know what you think about all this.

Now, I just hope Jack doesn't die! That's all I care for right now.

Supernatural | Season 14 Episode 2 - "Gods and Monsters"

Hello guys!

Today I am here with the new Supernatural rant (the The Flash rant it's coming soon, I promise) and what an episode! 

Thank god I was right about Richard Speight Jr. saving this episode! And he really did! After last episode, my hopes were a little low, but I had faith in Richard and he did an amazing job with this episode. Unlike the previous one, this felt like a Supernatural episode. Everything was a lot more authentic and I loved the interactions between the characters and the whole story made a lot more sense and, overall, it was just so much better than and I truly loved it! Also, I got to watch the episode live (and live tweet) so that's always a plus.

Like I was saying, this episode touched a little bit on everything and we got development for basically all the characters. We saw Jack still struggling with not having powers, we see Jack and Cas have some really nice bonding moments and, overall, Jack was just a cutie this episode, mainly when he goes to visit his grandparents - that was such a sweet part of the episode.

We also get more development from Nick, seeing him still tormented by what Lucifer did using him and he even displays some aggressive and even Lucifer-like behavior, causing Castiel to suspect that Lucifer did more damage than they thought. This is even worse when Nick remembers that his wife and son were murdered and it never got solved, setting him off after revenge. Actually, the last scene that we see with Nick was a really alarming one with him going to his neighbor Arty, the only witness, for answers and then just killing him. I don't really know what to think about this, to be honest, but I kind of miss Lucifer so it's nice to have Mark Pellegrino not playing exactly Lucifer but a character somehow similar to him.

Then, there's the 'major' thing this season - Michael.

We see that he's still in Dean's body and that he has been experimenting on vampires, feeding them angel grace in a way to form some type of enhanced monster.

Michael's experiments draw the attention of Sam, Bobby and Mary who investigate while Michael makes a deal with a pack of werewolves to create this enhanced monsters and wipe out the human race.

Also, turns out Michael created a trap and then this enhanced monsters attack Sam, Mary and Bobby, making them realize that they are immune to silver but not to decapitation. After the fight, Dean suddenly arrives with Michael no longer inside him. Dean explains that Michael left his body on his own, but he doesn't know why.

To be honest, my first thought was that Michael was playing them, but after watching the preview for next episode, I guess this really is Dean and Michael must have a much bigger plan. Also, I don't know how I feel about being really Dean. I mean, I really missed Dean and I much prefer Jensen as Dean then as Michael, but it seemed too easy. I don't know...

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 21 - "Beat the Devil"

Hello people!

Wow! We are really coming to an ending, aren't we?

This episode was such a ride! It was everything that I wanted! Hell, it was what I've been wishing for weeks and it was so freaking good! We finally had Sam, Dean, Cas, Gabriel, Jack, Lucifer and Rowena all in the same episode and it was fantastic! Seriously, I can't rave enough about this episode!

It had so many good moments, from funny ones to really emotional ones. I knew this was going to be an important episode for Sam but damn I wasn't expecting what happened!

So, this episode was all about getting back to the alternative universe and finally get Mary and Jack back. The first thing was try the spell again. With Gabriel on board, they tried it but his grace wasn't enough so they had to come up with plan B - go after Lucifer. 

Well, this wasn't like a major plot in this episode but I just have to mention it. Gabriel and Rowena! I mean, it was good but cringy... I don't know, I have mixed feelings but I guess deep down I liked it. It was something that never crossed my mind but, somehow, I'm cool with it. You know that I have a thing for Gabriel (just as much as I have for Jack... maybe even more, I would admit) so this was a nice touch to his character I think.

Anyway, back to the important stuff... With the help of Gabriel and Rowena they catch Lucifer and decide to use him and his grace as a continuous power source to keep the rift open.

They are able to open the rift again and the brothers, Castiel and Gabriel travel to the Apocalypse World. 

Of course things had to go a little wrong and, after learning that his son is in the Apocalypse World, Lucifer breaks free and travels through the rift, leaving Rowena to scramble to find a way to keep it open without Lucifer to power it.

In the AU things don't go that well either. Heck, they turn out to be even worse!

Our boys eventually find a couple that is being attacked by some different type of vampires and, of course, being the heroes, they go to their rescue. After that, they learn that they only way to Mary and Jack is through a tunnel full of those creatures. Sam is really eager to just do it and that's exactly what they do. Obviously they end up attacked and that's when Sam dies. Sam actually dies! I mean, for a moment I actually thought that he was dead for sure. I knew that he couldn't. Jared didn't say anything about leaving the show and it was even renewed for a Season 14 so... It wouldn't make sense but... You never know.

What was the worst about all this was Dean. Dean's reacting to Sam's death was so heartbreaking! He actually cried and if you know Dean you know what it takes to make him cry so, as you can imagine, I was almost crying as well. It was that heartbreaking.

They end up finding Mary and Jack and, once again, seeing Jack just in denial about Sam's death was really sad. Also, I need to mentions this... Was it just me or should've been a different scene with Gabriel meeting Jack? I mean, Gabriel is his uncle so I would've liked to see like an introduction scene or something like Jack asking 'You're my uncle?' or something like that... I don't know, I just thought they would do something else but I guess it wouldn't fit the tone of the episode in that moment.

Oh, also need to mention this real quick... Castiel does tell Gabriel about the angels and I guess Gabriel kept thinking about it. I don't know but I see a real chance of Gabriel staying for some time and I'm so okay with that!

Anyway, back to the storyline...

Of course Sam wasn't dead for sure and then we see that it was actually Lucifer who brought him back to life in a way for Sam to show him where Jack is.

And yes, the end of the episode is Lucifer meeting Jack for the first time and, truth be told, I have no idea who this is gonna go. I couldn't read Jack's face at all and that got me even more curious. I just couldn't believe that the episode was ending like that so, as you can imagine, I'm so excited about the next one.

Well, it looks like we aren't done with Lucifer for this season. He's probably going to still be one of the problems or the next season but I don't think he's going to be the big bad.

Supernatural | Season 13 Episode 18 - "Bring 'em Back Alive"

Hello everyone!

So, first of all, I wanna say sorry for posting this a little too late. I told on my twitter but yesterday I arrived home kinda late and I was pretty tired so it was impossible to watch the episode and write about it, as well as for Arrow, that's why both rants will be up today, starting with Supernatural!

I have to say that this episode has barely everything! It is pretty clear that we are getting to end of the season because not only basically all characters were in this episode - such as Gabriel, Lucifer, Jo and Cas - but also we are wrapping some things up. Plus, we had another guest start - Charlie! We've know for some time that there was going to be another special guest star that had died in the previous seasons and that was going to be part of the alternate universe and all bets were on Charlie (at least, I knew mine were) and we were right! So much happened in this episode so I should get really started.

The episode starts with a scene that we've seen already on the CW's youtube channel with Dean and Ketch arriving in the alternate universe and starting to look for Mary and Jack. That's while they are looking for them that they witness a group of angels holding the alternate reality version of Charlie captive and then, Dean's main concern is to find her and save. I mean, he is still worried about Mary and Jack, but after finding out that they aren't with Michael anymore and that Charlie might know where they are, he decides to first find Charlie and then, with her help, look for Mary and Jack.

While on the look for Charile, Dean gets shot by some guy and that's when Ketch helps him and they have kind of an heart-to-heart conversation where Dean reveals that he still holds guilt over his Charlie's murder, and that's after that that Ketch agrees to help him look for her. Well, with this, we learn that Ketch can be redeemed, which I never though could happen. I'm starting to be okay with Ketch around, even though I wouldn't be too sad if he died. I guess he's tolerable now. 

Anyway, together, Dean and Ketch liberate Charlie who reveals that Mary and Jack are leading a resistance in Ohio. As they learn about this information, they are faced with the fact that the rift is closing so Dean decides to go back, leave Ketch and Charlie in the Apocalypse World looking for Mary and Jack for when Dean come back to finally deafeat Michael.

Meanwhile in the real world, Sam and Castiel are trying to help Gabriel, learning then, through some things he wrote in the walls, that he faked his death when Lucifer 'killed' him, back in Season 5, in order to escape all responsability again. I guess this was a good things writers did because, althought I didn't really mind why and how he was back, I can see that some people might wanna know and, overall, it's just nice to know how everything played out in Season 5 so, this was a nice touch.

So, eventually Gabriel gets a little better and, when that happens, Asmodeus is able to locate him and that's when he calls Sam telling him to give him Gabriel back or he'll attack them. Obviously Sam doesn't do it and yeah, Asmodeus attacks the bunker.

That's when he's about to take Gabriel out and almost kill Sam and Castiel that Gabriel gets his full force back and yeah, he just kills Asmodeus.

I can't say that was an huge surprise to me because I did see some spoilers online (you can't go to the internet before you see the new episodes, right?) but it was surprise anyway. You know that I've told you that they were going to use Asmodeus' storyline for next seasons but I guess they have other plans and them killing Asmodeus was really a plot twist for me! I wasn't really expecting it! Of course, now, I have some other theories like Lucifer might stay a little longer in the show and he might get tired of being 'God' and get bak to being the Kind of Hell and really rule Hell this time, since there's no Kind of Hell right now. I just think killing Asmodeus is a bummer because he could set free those Shedim, which looked really nice for villains or half-villains (yes, I still think about those) but who knows?! They might be able to get them back with some other way, right? Anyway, I'm not mad that he's dead. He was a pain in the ass so, overall, I liked how things turned out. Well, at least, for him, because I didn't like that, after that, and after telling Gabriel what was happening with Michael in the alternate universe, that Gabriel just said no to helping them and just vanished.

I know the's coming back eventually but still, he should've helped them right away. Plus, now that Dean's back, they don't even have grace to open the rift again so, they really need to either find Gabriel or Lucifer.

And talking about Lucifer. We also see a bit of him in this episode. We see him struggle in his new role as 'God' and ultimately alienating Anael with his behavior. I guess this part of the episode was just to be funny, with all the exorcism thing and to show that Lucifer can't be 'God'/good and that his place his in Hell so someone else might have to take his place (maybe Gabriel? This is a long shot but, you never know.)

Well, overall, this was a great episode and I just wanted to see Jack for it to be better.

I kinda predict that the next episode is gonna be them looking for Gabriel (keep in mind I haven't watched the preview yet) and maybe stumble upon Lucifer and finding out that he's in heaven now. Maybe even Jo will get to the Winchesters and tell her herself but, I don't know. Gabriel and Lucifer are gonna be back, for sure, in the next episode and, obviously, I guess we will see a bit more of what's going on in the alternate universe, since it is a big part of the season right now. I don't know what else to say, apart from that I guess Lucifer will give up is place in Heave and get back to Hell and, I don't know... I guess that's it.
