The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episoe 18 - "Behind the Total Madness"

Hello people!

So, here we are with the last rant for a while. It's kind of a bummer because we're ending with kind of boring episodes, although I already knew going into them. The truth is, the Reunion episodes never are as good as the rest of the season but still... I like to watch them and, of course, talk to you about what happens in them.

In this last one they kind of did things differently. This time, they didn't separate the Reunion into two parts (technically). Episode 17 was the real reunion while this episode was only showing 'scenes' that were cut out of the official episodes which, in a way, makes things more interesting. Overall, I feel like this episode was more interesting than the previous one, but still pretty boring compared to the overall season.

In this one was saw a bit more about people's mental state with, once again, people complaining about the bunker and what that did to them. I mean, I wasn't there so I can't say for sure but it looks like it wouldn't be that difficult. Heck, I was stuff at home for 3 months during this quarantine so... How hard can it be to be in a bunker?!

Anyway... Besides that, of course, there were a few more hookups that we didn't see, such as Melissa and Josh which wasn't really a hookup, just a snuggling, and Melissa and Nany and, to be honest, a bunch of girls. From what they said, they were playing truth or dare or something like that and they dares Melissa to kiss Nany and suddenly Aneesa was also kissing Jenny and apparently they all kissed each other?! I don't know, but it was a lot of hookups just between the girls.

They also went into some of the 'fails' such as the whole Kyle and Nelson thing with the car but, to be honest, that was pretty lame.

Something that was kind of surprising was that Jenna wasn't the only one with love trouble back home. Turns out that Nelson also had some fights with his now ex-girlfriend, Angela, who was also on The Challenge a few seasons ago, and apparently she was accusing him of cheating on her with Dee?! I mean, that was totally fake because we didn't see that at all! Regardless, it looks like they're not together anymore...

And well, there's a few other stuff that they talked about (Zach and Jenna again, Kailah and Bear and her boyfriend finding out) but those things were pretty boring to me. I did like though when they talked about Big T's injury and how she wanted to be all glamours to go to the hospital. That was pretty funny and that's the type of content I feel like we need to see in this type's of reunions and on The Challenge in general.

To finish things up they also went into their nights out and how Nany lost a tooth/veneer when she was drunk. Again, the type of content that it's funny and interesting at the same time.

But that was it guys. I know, not a lot and, overall, a bit lame but that's what we've got. Regardless, I would love to know your thoughts on not only this episode but on the season in general and when do you think we'll have a new season?! I mean, the show was renew for Season 36 and I've heard a rumor that they're starting filming it in August so... I would love to have a new season in October but maybe only November... We'll see. But that's it from me.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 17 - "Reunion"

So, here we are with the The Challenge Reunion (part 1, I might add. part 2 coming next week - as usual). Reunions are always difficult for me to review because, the truth is, I've been commenting during the whole season and now, it's just themselves commenting on stuff that I have already commented on. However, this time the Reunion was a bit different. Because of this whole pandemic thing, the reunion had to be via Zoom so it was a different environment. In a way, I liked it better how did it now. It felt more real (because everyone was in their own houses) and, in general, it looked like they were way more friendly with each other which, we know that most of we see in the show, is 'fake' and just to make the show interesting. Apart from that Zoom thing that was different, all the other things that they touched on were kind of boring.

They started out with the winners, as per usual, but there really wasn't much to talk about, to be honest. They did touch on Bayleigh's injury and, something that I was looking forward to, Melissa's pregnancy. The truth is, the was already 4 months pregnant when she got to the final and that really shocked me. I also liked the whole Bananas and Wes alliance and to see that most people truly didn't know that they were working together. Those two teaming up really cracked me up (during the season and in this episode). And speaking of Bananas, they also touched on the 'love triangle' between him, Jay and Morgan but, truth be told, there wasn't much to talk about. Jay and Bananas talked about it before going into the show and yeah, there's that. Ashley tried to make a thing out of it but it didn't work.

Something kind of major, not only during the season, but in this reunion was the whole Nany, Aneesa an Kaycee thing. This was what gave this episode the biggest 'argument' and then, what pissed me off the most, was that Nany left the video call because it was already her bed time... That really annoyed me! Nany sometimes is so annoying... I have such a love/hate relationship with her. I do feel like she's a bit underrated but she also doesn't do anything to establish herself and she does have some childish and annoying attitudes so... Yeah, there's that.

Apart from that they also touched on the whole Kailah and Bear thing but they didn't stay on that for long (I think because Bear wasn't there) and they also talked about the whole Jenna and Zach thing, which is another topic that really annoys me. I'm so tired of that drama. Although, I also have such a bittersweet 'connection' to that relationship like, I love to see them together and the whole Barbie and Ken thing is so cute but, at the same time, Zach really treats her badly and she's really possessive over her and don't really think that relationship is healthy so... I don't know... Maybe behind closed doors it is different but... I don't know.

Anyway, that's basically it for this first part of the reunion. Next week we'll see some behind the scenes footage so, maybe it will be more interesting. Regardless, it is still fun to see them react to the footage and interact with each other so... Yeah, looking forward to it.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 16 - "It's the End of the World As We Know It"

Hello everybody and OMG this episode!

The final is here and, actually, this was the last episode of the season before the reunion (which caught me a bit off guard) and... F*ck yeah my favorites won!

I'm sorry but I have to start with this. That's right, both Bananas and Jenny won! It was actually two winners, a girl and a guy, which I wasn't expecting - I thought it would be only one winner - but what matters is that the right people won this season! Also, I'm sorry but I have to say this - I've been saying for weeks that Bananas was going to win this season and I was right! I just had a feeling. And, if I had known that it would be a guy and girl winning I would totally say that Jenny was going to win but yeah. Now that I've expressed how happy I am with this outcome, let's rewind a bit and talk about the actual final.

I must say that I'm a bit disappointed. I mean, they did do kind of a twist after the first part of the final where the first place guy and first place girl formed a tribunal and there would be an elimination. I wasn't expecting that so that was nice. So the two members of the Tribunal were Cory an Jenny, who picked Bananas and Kaycee to go into this last elimination, and then the rest of the 'house' went with Rogan and Melissa both who actually nominated themselves. Rogan said it was because he wanted to prove himself again and Melissa just basically volunteered to later quit. I mean, it gave Kaycee an unfair advantage and I was actually rooting a little bit for Melissa but now, thinking about it, I guess she did the right thing - keeping in mind that she was pregnant at the time. Anyway so that left Rogan an Bananas to battle it out in this last elimination which looked pretty easy but once they started didn't look so easy. Well, needless to say that Bananas won that elimination (and later on won the entire season). With that, the winners of both the first part of the final and the elimination got to sleep in a house, where it was warm, while the remaining two - Fessy and Kyle - had to wait four hours in the cold. Oh, and I guess I should mention that Bayleigh also had to 'quit' because she had a knee injury and couldn't continue so, for the girls, it was only Jenny vs Kaycee. 

Moving to the next day, this second part of the final was just a pretty long run, with a bit of math in the middle, and that's where it disappointed me. It didn't have any big checkpoints that could turn things around. I mean, the math problem did give Kyle and Fessy an advantage over Cory who, at that point, was in the lead but that was pretty much it. And then it wasn't even about the best time, it was just a run with who got to the top of the mountain first would win (and you already know who did).

I do have to mention though that Kyle got second place for the guys and I'm really happy about that and really proud of him. Cory even said in this episode that he wasn't a threat. Well, he got second place and Cory in third so... And Fessy, who everyone thought was a big threat, gassed out and ended in 4th. This just shows that you shouldn't underestimate anyone, and I'm also looking forward to see Kyle again in The Challenge because I actually think he has a shot at winning one day.

Well, and I guess that's it for this season. There will be a Reunion episode, which was shot through Zoom and I'm still going to cover that but, after next episode, the blog will be a bit quite for some time. The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 15 - "Crash Into Me"

I'm so stoked to talk to you about this week's episode like...! OMG what a freaking amazing episode!

I was a bit bored int he beginning but as soon as it got to the elimination... That made up for the entire episode! Oh and, once again, I guess I was pretty much right about this episode (which is always nice). There's a ton to say about this episode so let's get into it!

As I said, the beginning was a bit boring. The truth is, with the red skulls thing, everyone wanted to go into elimination and so that kept the show from getting a ton of drama. Everyone was okay with sending in the people that wanted to go and that just made basically everyone be friends with everyone. Well, now everyone had red skulls so that created a bit more tension, but only after the week's challenge.

This week's challenge was one that wasn't really that interesting. It was basically a giant bowling, with one person in a car trying to make as many barrels as they could fall down. It was funny because of some people (aka Kyle and Nelson) but that was it. I did like the outcome though, with Bananas winning for the guys (and basically winning over everyone since he was the one that knocked out the most barrels) and Kaycee winning for the girls. Well, then for the third person in the Tribunal, Kaycee wanted Fessy, but Bananas talked her out of it saying that Kyle needed it the most otherwise he would be the house vote and he was sure Fessy wouldn't be the house vote so yeah... In the end the Tribunal members were Bananas, Kaycee and Kyle. A good Tribunal, in my opinion. Then, trouble began.

With not many people in the house, and everyone being okay with everyone, the voting became hard and a bit controversial. Right away Bananas, Kyle, Jenny and a few others said that they would vote Rogan in. Knowing that, Nelson told Rogan and that just made the voting easier. He knew that he was outnumbered so Rogan just voted himself in. As for the girls, it was a bit more difficult. The girls basically split the voted between themselves, with each having one vote, and then the guys voted and, because she went behind Rogan's back, a lot of people turned on Jenny and she was the house vote. I must say, I wasn't that worried because I knew what the elimination was going to be and I knew she was going against Dee so... Yeah, I really didn't need to be worried.

Anyway, when it came for the Tribunal to vote, once again, I wasn't really focused on the girls nominations because I knew Dee was going in, but I was curious to see who they were going to nominate for the guys mainly because Bananas made a deal with Fessy saying that he wasn't going to nominate him and... Well, we all know how Bananas is so... But, I was happily surprised to see that he kept his part of the deal and he didn't nominate Fessy. So, there was only Cory and Nelson left and, against Rogan, I really didn't know who would be a better match and who the Tribunal was going to vote in. I was really leaning into Cory, because I feel like he would do better in a Final so they wanted to get rid of him but then, something changed. Nelson went to Kyle and Bananas saying that he wanted to go in because Cory needed the money the most and that was so sweet of Nelson. Really, he might not think before he speaks sometimes but in this last few episodes we have seen that he is a really loyal friend and I appreciate that.

Well, in the end, the Tribunal did vote Dee to go against Jenny, as I already knew, and they did answered Nelson's request and put him in against Rogan so... To anyone saying that Bananas is a snake... Well, he was pretty trustworthy in this episode.

And now it was time for the actual elimination. The girls went in first and OMG what was that?! I mean, I knew Jenny would beat Dee but like that?! She literally carried Dee and... WOW! It truly was one of the best, if not the best, eliminations that I've ever seen! And yes, Jenny won, of course.

The guys round was equally as impressive, but they were better matched. I did not know that Nelson was that strong though! They wrestled for a long time in the middle of that wall thing, in both rounds but, in the end, Rogan won. It might have been the fact that Rogan was a Rugby player before but again, it's just curious that the ones that won were the house votes... Just getting that out there again.

So, with this amazing elimination done... It's time for the final!

That's right, the final is next episode and I keep my prediction - Bananas is going to win this season. Not only because I see everyone that he's going up against (mainly rookies) but also because he has been doing this for a long time and there has been rumors that he's going to become a producer and not compete anymore and what better way to 'end' than as a winner of the latest season?! I'm pretty stuck on that and I can't really see anyone else winning this season, to be honest (and obviously, I'm rooting for him to win).

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 14 - "Your Time Is Gonna Come"

Hello people!

Back with a new The Challenge rant (feeling so much better than last week, I might add) and with quite a few thoughts so... Let's get into it.

Once again, I was half right. For some odd reason I feel like my predictions are way better than what they actually end up doing in the show (so you MTV if you wanna hire me for the creative department of The Challenge or something, hit me up @danixinhahhh) but it's fine. It's still pretty interesting to see where I was right and where I got way ahead of myself and got way too creative and 'complicated'.

So, this week's episode I feel like went by very quickly (even though it was an hour long) and a lot smoother. We didn't have much drama in the beginning and we jumped right into the week's challenge, which apparently appeared out of nowhere for them, what was really funny to see - everyone's sleep face and going to a challenge in the middle of the night. And well, there wasn't much to the challenge - they just had to put heavy stuff in someone's container and, in the end, those people had to hold their container and who lasted the longest would be in the Tribunal. Pretty straight forward. My prediction was that it would play a part on the red skulls thing or that someone would be automatically eliminated but... No. It was just for the Tribunal and nothing happened to the people who lost.

In the end, Fessy and Jenny were the ones to win (Jenny was an easy win). This created a bit of drama between Fessy and Cory because Fessy promised both Cory and Josh to put them as the third member of the Tribunal if they 'gave up' which was totally wrong of Fessy to do, to promise two people the same thing (we saw how that worked for Nelson) but again, Cory really overreacted and, to be honest, I don't know what was the big deal here - both Josh and Kyle were the ones that didn't have a Red Skull, both wanted to go in so... It was pretty simple to me but, of course, this being The Challenge, they had to create some drama. Anyway, in the end, Jenny decided to go with Josh as the third member of the Tribunal and then, they had to pick two guys and two girls because yes, this was a double elimination week. My prediction was that it was Kyle vs Josh and Dee vs Bayleigh and... I was also half right with that. Kyle did go against Josh (Kyle being the house vote) and Bayleigh also went as the house vote but then... The Tribunal nominated Melissa and Aneesa so... Something was up there. Right away I knew this wasn't going to be the last episode before the final. I know Dee is going in again (in that wall elimination) and I have a few more thoughts and theories when it comes to that but I'll get into them in a minute.

Well, in the end, the Tribunal went with Aneesa to go against Bayleigh which I guess was fine with me. I felt bad for Aneesa though because she never got into a final, but I also didn't want Melissa to go in not just because she just got her Red Skull but also because I feel like I like her a bit more than Aneesa. Still, it was shady of them to put her in just because they don't want to be paired with her in the final-

Anyway so the elimination was a knots one which would be a nightmare for me but I said right away that Kyle and Bayleigh had an advantage, they are smaller and thinner than both Aneesa and Josh so they would do better at going in and out of the car. And guess what?! Yes, both won! I don't know if it was that but my sister has a theory that everyone that goes as the house vote ends up winning and if you really think about it, most of the people that are still there went as the house vote so... I don't know, just something interesting to think about.

Now, to my predictions for next week. As we see in the preview, it's that well elimination so we know that Dee is going in. My theory now is that it's going to be another double elimination. I say that because there's way too many people to run a final. Six guys and five girls. They will most likely be four of each. I'm just torn between the next episode being the one before the final or if there's going to be another episode and then the final. It looks to me that they're stretching this season so... I don't know. I really have no clue on that. The only think I know is that Dee is going in next week and I would love to see her against Jenny in that particular challenge. And if it is a double elimination, I would like to see Rogan against Fessy - that would be a good match in my opinion (obviously I don't want Bananas to go in because I want to see him run and probably win the final - yes, I still think he will win this season).

So, this are my thoughts on this episode and my predictions for the rest of the season.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 13 - "Victim of Love"

Hello everyone.

So... Excuse me for anything that I don't talk about in this rant but I'm not feeling 100% so this might not 'feel' like my usual rants. I'm going to try and write like I normally do but... Just a warning.

With that said, let's talk about the episode. I can't say that this one was a big surprise, but I was still surprised at some stuff. By now I had already figured out that everyone is going to be able to have a chance at a red skull (it is even more obvious in the end of this episode and in the preview for the next one). As per usual, I was expecting to see Dee again down in Purgatory but as soon as the challenge of the week started, I knew that wasn't the case. The challenge was a Team one - two Teams with seven people and the winning Team would be the Tribunal, all of them. And even if Dee's team lost, which they did, by the way, I was sure that she wasn't going to be the Tribunal vote. There was no way she was going to be the house vote - it was either Bayleigh or Melissa - and Nany was int he Tribunal so I knew she was going into Purgatory this time. I mean, I hope she would, with everything that she has been saying she had too. And well, I was right. Nany did end up going into Purgatory against Melissa. Yes, Melissa was the house vote and that was a huge part of the episode.

This was the Kaycee/Nany/Bayleigh triangle episode and the whole drama revolved around them. Not only Bayleigh was all by herself now, but the last drop was when Kaycee voted for Melissa - basically because Nany said that she would prefer to go against Melissa instead of Bayleigh. Well, I guess that bite her in the ass.

I did now care much about that whole drama, and it's way too much for me to talk about in this post so let's just jump straight into the elimination.

It wasn't the wall thing (that is going to be the Dee one) and it was the one that we saw in last week's preview for the rest of the season. I had a feeling Melissa would do that one, where they had to grab red skull's from their opponents. I was also rooting for Melissa, to be honest. Nany has been pretty annoying this season and I'm not over the fact that she waiting till now to go into purgatory so yeah, I was rooting for Melissa and... Guess what?! Melissa won and I'm pretty happy about that. I feel like Melissa is also pretty underestimated so I love to see the underdogs winning.

As for this episode, that was it. We did see a preview where not only they say that it's going to be a double elimination but it also looks like there's going to be some type of purge. My prediction is that the week's challenge will be to take out someone's red skull (not eliminate them, just take out their red skull) and that will be for either just one person or for a girl and a guy. Then, there will be a double elimination - Kyle against Josh and Dee against Bayleigh, most likely. I might be wrong but we saw that both Kyle and Dee are going in so... Let's see who their opponents are.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 12 - "Pictures of You"

Wow! This episode really took me by surprise! I guess I was wrong this time... (I also have a few new predictions, but I'll leave that for the end).

So, let's talk about the elephant in the room. This had already happened last week, but this time MTV really let us know and had a 'warning' type of thing in the beginning letting us know about the whole Dee situation. And if it wasn't obvious last week, this week was really obvious that they tried to cut her out of the episode as much as possible. Unfortunately, she has been winning and stuff so it was harder for production to cut her out but... I guess they did a good job. It was obvious, but now we know.

Now, let's talk about where my predictions went wrong. I said (and I've been saying this for a while) that this week it would be Cory against Kyle, and I was almost right. I thought Kyle would be the one to win the challenge and he almost did. Can we talk about that for a moment? This week's challenge looked pretty hard, but pretty cool at the same time, and it must have taken them hours to fill those tanks. And, to everyone's surprise, the two teams to move to the second part of the challenge were the ones with two girls in the team. Who would've thought, huh?! Guys are nothing without the girls... Anyway, unfortunately, Kyle, Aneesa and Jenny lost against Fessy, Bayleigh and Dee and... Well, it was pretty obvious that Swaggy was going in as the Tribunal pick. They tried to trick us though, but he did go into purgatory in the end. As for the house vote, unlike my prediction, it was between Cory and Kyle (instead of Josh and Kyle) and, unfortunately, Cory got the majority of the votes. Right away I felt really sad and bad for Kyle because, in my mind, this would be the last guys elimination. (But I'm doubting that now).

Before I get into my final predictions, let's talk about the elimination. It was a pretty fair one - Cory against Swaggy C. And I wasn't necessarily rooting for either of them so... I guess I was fine either way. Cory won in the end, which is fine by me and now... Well, I guess there's more to this season than meets the eye.

This week we didn't have a Preview for next week. Instead, we had another of those previews for the rest of the season and it looks like there will be more eliminations than the one next week. We knew there would be another girls elimination because we saw Dee going into one of those wall eliminations so we knew that. We also knew that Kyle was going and, with this preview, it's even more clear that he's going so, right now, I feel like everyone is going to have a chance to get their red skull, which is kind of shame because I would love to see their faces when TJ tells them that they wouldn't even be able to get a chance at that. Although, I'm happy that, at least, Kyle can fight for it. Well, but not only that. I feel like even after everyone has a red skull, there will be some type of Purge were a bunch of people, already with red skulls, will be eliminated and then it will be the final.

I'm just happy because, as of now, it looks like it's an easy win for Bananas. I don't want to be that hopeful and jinx it but, considering the competition, Bananas has a pretty good shot at winning this season, and I'm going to be rooting for him (obviously).

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 11 - "You Ain't Right"

So, this was a short one. However, we have a lot to talk about so let's get into it.

First of, let's talk about the actual running time of the episode. You might have noticed that it was way shorter than the previous episodes, and I think I know why. I don't know if you're up to the news but Dee was recently fired from The Challenge due to racist comments. The show did tweet that they were going to keep airing the episodes because of the fans but I'm pretty sure they tried to cut as much as they could from her in this specific episode. And because she was a big part of it, the episode turned out shorter than usual. You might have not noticed her 'absence' but if you go back and re-watch the episode, it's pretty clear that she 'should've' been more permanent (mainly with the whole Tribunal thing - that was pretty obvious, in my opinion).

Apart from that, well, it looks like I was half right. My prediction last week was that there were going to be two more eliminations - a girls one, in this episode, and a guys one in the next. Well, I don't think that anymore. I'm pretty sure there will be one more girls elimination. Not only because, this way, the girls will be outnumbered but also because I remember vividly Dee's elimination (which was that wall thing) and that wasn't the elimination this episode so, I'm getting ahead of myself (as usual) and I predict that Dee is going in again. Because yes, that's right, she did go in this week but she came back.

However, I was right about Mattie going in. I mean, I think I said that Bayleigh was most likely but I wanted Mattie. Not only because I like Mattie but also because I thought the could take out Dee on that wall elimination. Well, turns out that wasn't the elimination and so Mattie lost. I pretty sure if it was a more physical one Mattie would nail it but... Oh well, at least Bananas is still in the game.

Well, I don't know if there's a lot more that I need to talk about. There wasn't much drama in this episode (for obvious reasons) and the actual challenge was pretty cool and not a lot happened. I mean, a bunch of people were disqualified because they 'cheated', there's that. And because of it, it was easier to pick the people for the Tribunal - which ended up being Melissa and Josh (who won the challenge) and Bananas, who they picked. I'm having a feeling this might be Bananas' come back and he might have a good shot at winning this season (I mean, look at the people that already have a Red Skull - they're not much of a competition for Bananas. Maybe Fessy and Jenny but I don't know how they are in a final with eating challenges involved and endurance so, they might not do great in those things) but I don't want to jinx it so I'm just keep rooting for him.

Next week is a guys elimination and the preview didn't give us much. However, I do know that Kyle and Cory both go into elimination so, I still think they're going against each other and this is going to be the last guys elimination. The preview did show Cory with some sort of injury so I don't know how that's going to work but... Let's see... Maybe it's nothing really serious and he can still get it. The only think really relevant that the preview showed was Melissa and Josh arguing (obviously about the whole Dee thing that happened in this episode) so my bet is that both Josh and Kyle will want to be the house vote and so the house will have to vote which one of the two is going in. Hence why Melissa is yelling basically saying that she's not going to vote for him.

And I guess that's it from in this week.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 10 - "The Final Countdown"

OMG! What an episode! Unfortunately, I got it spoiled for me in two different occasions...

Anyway, first of all, I'm sorry I'm posting this later than usual. I had a bit of trouble finding the episode online and that's one of the reasons why I had the episode spoiled for me. Not only I couldn't find it anywhere and I kept seeing articles about what happened in the episode but then, when I finally found an episode online, they messed it up. For some reason the episode that I found started with the elimination and so yeah... I basically saw the whole thing backwards. It was a bit of a bummer but I kind of already knew not only from the spoilers before but also from the preview that Bananas was going to be involved in the elimination somehow and... Yeah, let's talk about it.

Because that was the way I saw it, I'm going to start with the actual elimination. Bananas vs Wes. Well, let's be real, who didn't think this was going to happen?! After watching the elimination and watching the events knowing what happened, it was so obvious that they were setting it up. Still, it was huge. Although I don't know why people kept saying that this was long overdue because they went to an elimination against each other in Champs vs Stars so...  I don't know. It's now really their first time. Anyway, needless to say that I'm so excited about the result! After having Jay go home, and then Jenna, I really didn't want Bananas to go home as well so have him beat Wes was the cherry on top. It was sweet though, then having them hug and being real with each other. It made me like Wes a bit more and well, now that Bananas stopped hating Wes, I can stop as well.

As for the elimination itself, I think it was a bit unfair. Yes, it relied a bit on strength and endurance, but it was also 50% luck and I just don't think those eliminations are fair. It's not like a hand-to-hand fight or a puzzle, something that relies solely on yourself... But well, Bananas won so I'm fine...

Now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about the beginning of the episode and then talk about predictions because I have a lot (and I'm 80% sure that I'm right).

So, it looks like now everyone wants to go in. We see a bunch of guys and even girls say that they have to go in, and one of those people is Bananas. Wes also mentions that to Nany so that's where some tension starts 'bubbling'.

Then, we got my favorite challenge - Trivia. This one wasn't as good, I must say. They didn't answer that many questions and some people, including Bananas, just gave up and yeah, that was a bit lame. In the end, Wes, Dee and Rogan formed the Tribunal. Because of that, Wes thinks that this is his time. However, Bananas has his mind set that the wants to be the house vote and so he asks everyone to vote for him. When it's time to vote, Cory is basically the only one that doesn't want to give this one easy to Bananas but he eventually does and yes, Bananas is the house vote and he even jokes around when he puts Wes' name next to his (another overshadowing of the events that come next).

Learning that, Wes gets a bit conflicted. He thought this was his time and it can still be but because of the alliance with Bananas (and because it is Bananas) he doesn't really want to go against him... That creates a kind of argument between them (but an healthy one, I would say) where Wes 'complains' that he thought now was his time to get the red skull. And I get both sides. Bananas was playing his game and he did what he thought was best for him. Wes tried to get into the Tribunal to 'run' the game and have his red skull. Well, there should have been a bit more communication between the too but, in the end, it is an individual game so you can't blame either for doing what they think is best for themselves without telling the other.

Well, we know what happened next. The Tribunal nominated Kyle, Swaggy and Cory but, ultimately, Wes went against Bananas.

I guess now it's the time to talk about predictions. So we know that the Final is really near and I think there will only be two more episodes/eliminations before the final. The next one is a girls elimination and then a guys elimination. That way there will be 4/5 girls and 4/5 guys (depending how those eliminations end). From a previous preview, we know that Dee, Kyle and Cory go into an elimination so my prediction is that Dee is going against one of the girls (probably Mattie or Bayleigh) next week. My money is on Bayleigh, as the house vote and then the Tribunal sends in Dee. Who wins I don't know, but to be honest, I would rather have Mattie against Dee and Mattie winning. Anyway, as for the guys, it's going to be Kyle against Cory, and that's it. I hope Kyle wins because he's other of my favorites right now, to be honest. After that TJ will probably let them think that there will be more eliminations but no... That's the end and whoever doesn't have a red skull will go home instantly. I can't wait to see their faces when they realize that! It's going to be priceless.

So yeah, this was an intense episode! Unfortunately it was kind of ruined for me but at least Bananas won and I'm happy about that.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 9 - "Backstabber"

First of all, I'm sorry I'm posting this a day late (had to deal with some life things). Second, I'm really sad with this episode...

Well, needless to say that my prediction was completely wrong. From the preview, I thought Dee and Jenny were going to go against each other in elimination but no... Not only that but it was a double female elimination! But, as always, I'm getting a bit ahead of myself so let's talk about the beginning of the episode.

As I predicted, this week's challenge was pretty fun. They basically had to go down a sewer, swim, find some puzzle pieces and complete the puzzle. It was fun to watch and it looked like something fun to do, to be honest. And everything was going fine with Bananas' Team being one of the Teams to be in the lead. Unfortunately, his Team didn't win and, instead, Wes' Team (Wes, Bayleigh, Nany, Dee and Cory) was the winner and the Tribunal. After that, everything became really messy.

It was obvious that a lot of girls had to be nominated and, because three were already in the Tribunal, only one would be left out. I don't know what I thought would happen but I was kind of surprised that they left out Mattie (the Tribunal, I mean). As for the whole house, they nominated Kaycee and Aneesa, even though they basically nominated themselves. That left Jenna, Kailah, Jenny and Melissa to be the ones nominated by the Tribunal and, to be honest, against Aneesa and Kaycee, I couldn't really see anyone from the Tribunal nominating themselves to go against those two.

I'm going to go straight to the point and yeah, they nominated Kailah to go against Kaycee, which was fine, Kailah wanted to go in, but they nominated Jenna to go against Aneesa which left me so sad. I had hope in Jenna, and she almost beat Aneesa but, in the end, she didn't and both Kailah and Jenna went home. It's really bittersweet because Jenna already had a red skull and she deserved to be in the final and, to be honest, to win the whole thing, but at least she went home with her best friend. It's just a bummer that this whole thing happened because of Zach like.. F*ck him!

Anyway... That's the core of the episode but I need to add a few things.

First, Dee is such a snake and I freaking hate her. I get it like, Jenny is super good but, if she's your friend, it wouldn't matter if she can beat you like.. Ugh! These people don't know what real friendships are. Second, Rogan for once did the right thing and told Jenny about Dee wanting to put her in. And Third, Nany is starting to piss me off as well. Jenna only went in because of her. If Nany had stick up for her friend, like for real, she wouldn't have gone home. I mean, I get it, it's the best thing for your game but... Are you really that afraid that Jenna is going to beat you in the final?! I don't know, I guess I just value a friendship more than money...

Well, these are my thoughts on the latest episode. I guess now I'm mainly just rooting for Bananas and, from the look of it, I guess he's going in next week. I hope it is because he wants to but... I don't know. In the preview there's a conversation between him and Wes and how they were doing this season together and now Wes was betraying him... Something tells me Bananas' is going in not from his own will. Also, I have a feeling he's going against Kyle which, although I like both of them, I like Bananas' more and going against Kyle looks like an easy win to me so... Let's see. I just hope I don't loose another of my favorite players.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 8 - "Live and Let Die"

What another crazy The Challenge episode! We knew this one was going to be big because of the double elimination but... Oh, man! It was huge! And kind of heartbreaking, to be honest.

I shouldn't really start with this but... I was really sad about Jordan. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan o Jordan and, just like Wes, I'm happy he's gone, but also just like Bananas, I felt really bad about him going against Fessy. First of, I never thought they would actually put in Fessy, but it makes sense. If there's anyone that is going to beat everyone in a final it's Fessy. But on the other hand, who can beat him in a elimination?! Certainly not Jordan... And out of everyone that is left and that were up for elimination, I don't think anyone could beat Fessy, not with that 'game'. And that is the other thing that makes me feel really about Jordan going into this particular elimination. Not only he's going against Fessy, who's intimidating by himself, but going against him in a physical game that relies a lot on hand/wrist strength which is an huge disadvantage for Jordan. I was still hopeful though, but ultimately I knew he was going to lose. In the end, it's sad to see him go like that... Also said to see go is Bear. Bear might be loud and obnoxious but he's also pretty funny and he's not a bad competitor. Actually, I thought he had a few chances against Nelson. Plus, Nelson has been really annoying and yeah, I was rooting for Bear. Unfortunately, he was sent home as well, just like Jordan, and now we have some pretty annoying people up for the final - Nelson and Dee. Next week is going to be a girls elimination and... I have some thoughts, but I'll leave those for the end of my rant. Now, let's rewind a bit and talk about the beginning of the episode as well as the actual challenge.

Well, I guess I should start by saying that it's nice to have the usual type of episode - challenge, nominations and elimination. I suspected that would happen but it's nice to see that they got back to the usual 'template'.

With that said, let's talk about this week's challenge. It was a pretty funny one. I loved to see all the different strategies. Needless to say, my favorite was Bananas'. Like, did no one noticed what he noticed? You can say all you want about Bananas' but he's smart and he doesn't need all the «political» game that Wes has. Although, this time them working together... *chef's kiss* It's so funny and kind of cringe at times seeing them working together! And their interviews together! OMG, I can't! They always crack me up and I'm loving their Team Up thing. (It's the sort of thing I never knew I needed). The icing on the cake was Wes being in the Tribunal (alongside with Mattie) and then picking Bananas to be with them. That was also pretty funny but I'm afraid that gave away their whole game. I mean, I don't know. It seems like people are noticing something is odd but they aren't realizing that they're actually working together... It looks hard to me that no one has figured it out but... Maybe there's way too much going on in that bunker.

Apart from that, the whole thing with Big T and her foot was also pretty funny. In the previews it looked like it would be a much bigger thing but it was just something silly. Hope she stays though...

And yeah, I guess that's pretty much it. I've already covered the elimination so there's no need to talk about that again. What we need to talk about though is that preview. So, we see some nice challenge, it looked pretty fun to me, but we also see Jenny mad at someone. My prediction is that it's going to be Jenny against Dee in that wall challenge. I say that because we saw in the other preview that Dee was going again and Jenny was mad at someone and it looked like the house picked her or something so... My bet is that next elimination is going to be Jenny against Dee. It would also make sense for them to not only take out someone else with a Red Skull but also get rid of Jenny, who's basically the female version of Fessy, or Dee, who is pissing off a lot of people. I don't know about you, but that's my guess.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 7 - "Should I Stay Or Should I Go?"

Back with a new The Challenge rant and, after this episode, I guess we're back to the usual programming (challenge, nominations, elimination). Needless to say though, that this episode dragged a lot!

As we were expecting, this week episode focused only on the girls elimination (as well as the nominations). I figured it would be either that or we wouldn't get back to the 'normal' type of the episodes. In a way, I'm happy they chose to 'waste' this episode on getting things back to normal. Well, at least I hope they do get everything back to normal. But as for this episode, it was filled with necessary drama. However, it did have an unexpected ending which not only I was happy about, but made up for the overall boring episode. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of heated moments in this episode, but personally I don't watch The Challenge (only) for the drama, I mainly watch it for the challenges so have a drama centered episode wasn't really my taste. I enjoyed it in the end though...

So, the Tribunal had actually a good plan. Have Tori be the house nomination and then pick 'easy' people to beat in case neither Jenna nor Nany wanted to go in. For this the Tribunal chose Kailah, because she's friends with Jenna and Nany and might want to give her a chance to win a red skull, Dee because she rubbed Jordan the wrong way and she already has a red skull, and Big T which was only by default, to be honest. All of them said they love Big T and, to be honest, I don't think they ever thought of send her in. Jenna and Nany still had the chance to go in and both of them looked 'easy' to Tori (I guess). Everyone kept betting on Jenna, because she kind of wants to leave the house and we even see another call to Zach where he basically gives her an ultimatum. Initially I don't think Jenna intended to go in but that call really triggered her and yes, she took the chance and volunteered to go against Tori. I must say - I was kind of scared. Tori is a good competitor and, although I know Jenna is good, she isn't as strong physically as Tori (I think) but, I had faith her (unlike most people in the house). Well, I guess that beat them in the ass, huh?! 

That's right, in the end Jenna beat Tori and I'm so happy for her! It's interesting because I watch The Challenge with my sister and Jenna is my girl and Tori is her girl so we were basically rooting for each one. (I just thought I would let you know that). Anyway, now I just need Bananas to get his red skull and I'll have my two favorites in the final (I mean, if they don't get put into elimination again). To be honest, I don't think they'll put Jenna in again. There's bigger threats (in their opinion) and, for the most part, she flies under the radar. As for Johnny... Well, if he does get a red skull, I'm pretty sure he will be targeted again.

Well, that was the 'game' part of the episode. But as I said, there was a lot of drama, the main one revolving around Nany. I just have to say that she was clearly drunk. She starts a fight with Aneesa and she even talks rude towards Jenna and... She was drunk. It's not really an excuse but someone should keep her from not drinking that much. I guess she's a bit like Tony - Nany and him just can't drink otherwise they'll start a fight and make stupid mistakes.

But yeah, that was pretty much it. There was also a thing with Nelson which was so stupid and he was not drunk so he doesn't really have an excuse. Anyway, it's just way too much drama.

As I said, I hope the next episode goes back to normal and... The preview doesn't give much away, besides a fight between Kyle and someone that I can't really remember (I'm sorry). Oh, there's a double elimination, so that's going to be fun! I'm pretty sure the Final is pretty close so let's see who makes it there.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 6 - "Love Will Tear Us Apart"

Back with another The Challenge rant and, I must say, I was so excited about this episode!

You know, last episode ended with an huge cliffhanger and I was just so eager to find out what happened. I had a feeling it wouldn't be what I wanted but, as usual, I had hope and I tried my hardest not to get spoiled for this episode. I was able to! However, the episode didn't go the way that I wanted. Neither in terms of events not as structure. I have so many thoughts so let's just get right into it.

The first thing that I need to tackle is the Jay and Rogan elimination - what I was most excited/afraid about. Well, it didn't go too well. Jay didn't break his arm like we were led to believe in the last episode but something happened to him. After getting tackled, he got up and, physically, he was able to continue, and he kept going for two more rounds, where he didn't get the ball inside the bucket. However, when it came to Rogan's turn to be on the offense, Jay got really confused about the rules and he looked really out of himself, as someone said in the episode, almost like he didn't even know where he was. And so, because of that, the medical people that were there said that he might have a concussion and he needs a CT scan. And so, just like that, he got out of the game. Also, nothing happened with the extra red skull that he had. I had hope about that but, unless they have a secret house that they'll reveal in the next episodes, we now know nothing happens if you have more than one red skull (apart from take away the chances of other people having a red skull).

That was the first thing that happened in the episode. And from there, everything went downhill.

Next thing I have to talk about is the drama that went on for too long this episode. Again, I had a feeling. Because of the cliffhanger last episode, this week's episode was all messed up. Way too much drama and no nominations nor another elimination. (I hope they get back to the usual structure soon)

As for this drama, it was mainly Jenna's drama and Kailah's drama - both about their boyfriends. We knew something was going to happen between Jenna and Zach and... as much as I love them together, I really think Zach needs to chill out a bit. Jenna is clearly a good person and messing with her head and doubting her like that is so unnecessary. What's also unnecessary is the time they spent in this drama. I checked and they spent half of the episode (30 minutes) in all this Jenna and Kailah drama. Really unnecessary. Because of that, and because this week's challenge took a bit longer than usual, we didn't get out usual programming.

With that said, the last thing that I need to talk about is the actual challenge. It looked pretty fun and, to be honest, not that difficult. However, only three teams where able to finish it - Jordan and Nany, Bear and Kaycee, Bananas and Melissa - unbelievably. In the end, Jordan and Nany were the winners and two out of the three in the Tribunal - the last person they picked was Jenna. I think people were surprised by this but I think it makes sense - this way not only Jordan can nominate Tori and maybe through her into elimination if the house picks someone she wants to go against but also people were saying that Nany wanted to go against Jenna. Well, this way, she can't. But that was it for this episode.

In the very end we saw a preview for the rest of the season and it looks like the final is pretty close. Also, we learned some things - Bananas, Cory, Kyle, Nelson and Tori go into elimination; Dee goes into elimination again - and a lot of people are left without a red skull because in the very end of the preview we see someone clearly upset that they didn't get a red skull.

Even though Jay went home and I was really rooting for him, I'm pretty stoked about the rest of this season. Some of my favorites are still in the game - Bananas, Jenna, Jenny, Kyle, Mattie - so I still have people to be rooting for and the actual challenges look better than in previous seasons so... I'm excited for the next episodes.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 5 - "Break Up With Your BF, I'm Bored"

This week's episode of The Challenge was intense, and I have so many thoughts so prepare yourselves - this is going to be a long post.

There's way too many things to talk about so I guess I'll start with my predictions. I was half right. Josh, Swaggy C and Kaycee were, indeed, the Tribunal, alongside Jenny (who we couldn't see in the preview); one of the guys in elimination was one of my guesses - it was Rogan. After the events of the episode though I was pretty sure Rogan was going to be one of them but it's nice to know that I could figure it out just by looking at his stature. However, the name of the episode was only about Kailah and Bear, who do kiss like we saw in the preview. And that was about it or my predictions. But so much more happened!

First of this episode had way too much drama. It was entertaining though, and now I see why they did that - we didn't see the end of the elimination. I'm bummed about that (even more after how things ended - I'll get to that in a minute) but, as I said, the drama was interesting. We saw Kailah and Bear flirt, Jenna talking with Zach through Skype (or something like that) and a ridiculous fight between Jordan and Wes. That fight led to Wes going back to his old self (just for a moment though) and start a 'campaign' against Jordan. It didn't really work but what I liked the best about that was Bananas talking to Wes, advising him that going for Jordan right now wouldn't be the smart move and Wes agreeing! That was priceless and I'm loving this alliance between Wes and Bananas. Nany did notice something, and that was also funny, but as of right now, I think no one suspects a thing.

Anyway, as for the actual challenge, it was also pretty funny, mainly because most teams were terrible. Only three teams were able to finish the challenge and, well, I don't need to say who won because I already said that.

Then, comes the 'intense' part of the episode! When it came to the nominations, everyone thought Wes was going to 'gun' for Jordan but... he switched his vote (after talking with Bananas) and vote for Kyle. It was simply a burn vote but it messed up most people's plan and so everything went back to, guess who?! Jay. Freaking Jay! Again! I swear to god, this guy has had enough and everyone is just so scared to go in, it's unreal! Plus, Jay makes a fair point - if he keeps winning, it will make it harder or everyone else to get a red skull hence going to the final. But nothing changes... They still vote for him. So, then, it's up to the Tribunal. It was pretty easy, I guess. Rogan wanted to go in (even more because it's against Jay), there was this whole thing with Wes so they went with him as well and, the last one was Nelson - just because they didn't know his plan and alliances.

It's pretty obvious who went in against Jay, right?! Rogan. I was right though, but I wish I wasn't. Jay has become one of my favorites in The Challenge. Not only he's hella cute (I'm just being real here guys) but he has also proven himself. Not only physically but as a person. He has stayed true to himself and hasn't really created any drama nor he has been fake. And he has been killing it in challenges and eliminations so... Yeah, he's been great and I really don't want him to go home.

However, this elimination was physical (as I mentioned in my last rant) and it didn't look good for him. And he really didn't look good by the end of the episode. It only took one round for Rogan to smash him on the ground and... The episode just ends there... With Jay laying on the ground not being able to move so... We don't know who won. 

We are lead to believe that Jay lost, that he's not able to continue but... I have faith. I'm going to be honest - it really doesn't look good for Jay, but I hope he's fine and that he can beat Rogan's ass. Also, there's a theory going around. That even if Jay looses, because he has two red skulls he might be able to stay in the game?! I mean, it kind of makes sense but I don't know... It looks too good to be true. But why would they keep giving people red skulls?! I mean, if you have one it means you can go to elimination. Why do they have to keep adding up? I don't know, that's just really a theory but I'm curious if that plays a part here. All-in-all, I just hope Jay is fine and that he beats Rogan. Jay deserves to win this whole season at this point.

As for next episode, the only things that we see is some drama between Jenna and Zach (what's new) and the challenge of the week, which looks pretty good. Oh, and some more drama with Jordan (again, what's new).

This was for sure an intense episode and I really can't wait for the next one! I'm not happy that they didn't finish the elimination though, but I get it. Let's not do it again though. The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 4 - "Karma Chameleon"

Hello everyone!

Back with a new The Challenge rant! However, not a so unexpected and exciting one. This was still pretty fun and entertaining, but not as good (in my opinion) as the previous one. I love me some karma though, so that was nice.

This overall episode was pretty straightforward. There was drama, that person was sent in, she went home. And the person I'm talking about is Ashley. The karma hits hard! It's amazing because last week she kept saying sh*t about Bananas and he wasn't even nominated in the end and then, this week, if last week wasn't enough, she had to screw things more and obviously, she was nominated... By the group, I mean. But well, I didn't even talk about the actual challenge so, let's rewind a bit.

As we saw in the previous last week, this week's challenge looked pretty extreme - with one people going to the hospital. So, as soon as they presented it, I was really excited to see where things would go. It did seem pretty hard - they had to 'swim' in an ice cold pool to get some puzzle pieces. Two teams gave up - one because they really couldn't take it anymore (Nelson was the one to go away in an ambulance because he could barely walk) and another one just because they knew they wouldn't win (this team being Kyle and Cory's). I mean, I kind of get it, but at least they could have given a bit more. Anyway, Bananas' team ended up winning, which I was so happy about, of course, and this time, the 5 members of the Team would be in the Tribunal, which I think is fair.

Then there were the house nominations which you already know that they all voted for Ashley. As or the Tribunal, it was odd. I was almost sure that Aneesa, who was part of Bananas' Team, would try and get her red skull, but I was wrong. Instead, none of the girls in the Tribunal (Aneesa, Big T and Kaycee) wanted to go into elimination and so, out of the ones they nominated (Mattie, Tori and Dee) they went with Dee. I guess I would do the same because I like both Mattie and Tori, even though that would mean either Dee or Ashley would stay in the house and get a red skull. 

In the end, Dee won against Ashley, which I'm fine with. The odds of Dee going into elimination again and get eliminated were higher than if it was with Ashley so it was a nice result. I still hope Dee goes home though because she has been really annoying this season.

And well, now I guess it's time to speculate about the next episode. We see a lot of things from the elimination in the preview so we know that Bear, Kyle, Josh, Swaggy C and Fessy aren't going into elimination; I'm pretty sure Swaggy C, Josh and Kaycee are the Tribunal; and, to me, it looked like the two guys were black and 'kinda big' so I would say it's two of these three - Cory, Nelson, Rogan. Plus, the name of the episode is "Break up with your BF, I'm bored" and we also know from the preview that Kailah and Bear will make out but the BF doesn't necessarily means boyfriend, it can be best-friend so I would say the two in the elimination are Cory and Nelson - BFFs. I don't know, that's just my theory.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 3 - "A Hard Jay's Night"

Wow! What an amazing The Challenge episode!

This is what The Challenge should always be! Extreme, Surprising and just overall Epic! I must say, I did see some spoilers before watching the show but oh boy they weren't anything compared to what really happened. Overall, I think this episode was pretty great! Once again, a good balance between game and drama, which is just the way I like. Also, just like this game demands, people weren't afraid to make some moves and, even though it didn't end well for everybody, at least people aren't playing a scared game anymore. I've talked enough riddle so let's just get straight to the point. Yes, CT ended up going home after this week's elimination. And why? Well, not only him, but everybody underestimated Jay and he ended up winning the elimination against CT! I mean, he would be happy loosing against him because well it's CT but he won, and that is even better. I guess it was a bit bittersweet to me. I've grown to like CT over the last seasons and I'm sad to see him go, but at the same time I'm really a sucker for the underdogs and, let's be real, it always helps that this underdog is kinda cute (that isn't enough to save him from getting nominated tho - yes, I'm speaking at you Dee).

Anyway, I've talked enough about the end of the episode so let's rewind a bit.

Well, let's talk about the actual challenge of the week and who won. This week's challenge was a mix between a puzzle and a endurance game where they had to memorize some symbols in order to get a code. In the end, CT and Bayleigh won and, obviously, Bayleigh chose Swaggy C to be with them in the Tribunal. 

Then, there's this whole drama between Ashley and Bananas which results in Ashley leading a whole bunch of people on voting for Bananas (having in mind that, at this point, people are still keen on voting for Jay). This was actually pretty funny because, up until some point, the 'race' was between Jay and Bananas, but out of nowhere someone votes for Nelson and suddenly a lot of people votes for Nelson and that starts a whole other drama... The whole thing was even funnier after Wes keeping his alliance with Bananas and voting for Jay. That was so fun and left me pretty happy, to be honest. I never thought I would be happy with Wes. Well, in the end, Jay went to elimination anyway. As for the Tribunal, it didn't really matter who they were going to pick because their mind was pretty set on CT going in (that's what he wanted) but still they went with Rogan (who also wanted to go in), Nelson (because of the drama he created) and Bear (just because he loves the attention).

And, as far as the elimination goes... We already know what happened. I was happy that Jay won even if that meant that CT went home. I think CT should have gone with someone else. As soon as he saw a challenge that he didn't know what it was, he shouldn't have thrown himself in. But, even after seeing what the challenge was, I never thought CT would lose. His approach to the elimination looked smarter, in my opinion, but I guess Jay is really good at his mental game and he really has a lot of patience so, congrats to him and I seriously hope he gets to the final because now he really deserves it!

Next week's episode is a girls elimination week and the challenge looks extreme and someone is definitely going to the hospital so... I'm curious to see how it all unfolds.

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 2 - "Sweet Dreams Are Made of Dee"

Back with a new The Challenge rant and there's quite a few things to discuss so let's jump right into it.

This episode kind o annoyed me, to be honest. Not that it had too much drama or they didn't show the elimination or something. No, it wasn't anything like that. It was more the dumb decisions that some players made. But before I get ahead of myself, let's talk about the proper challenge.

The challenge this week was a bit hard to understand, but once you saw everything happen you get it. There were multiple parts of it. In the beginning, Wes, Jenny and Jordan's Team crushed it. But once they got to the second stage of the challenge they were the worst team. And, as you can imagine, Jordan was pretty salty. And the thing is, because o the Red Skull thing the game completely changed. Now people want to get into elimination so they can get a place in the final. It's really hard to strategize for this so, in my opinion, I guess the best thing to do is just do well on the challenges and roll with it. Sooner or later you will rub someone the wrong way and you'll get into elimination, no problem.

Anyway, in the end, Dee, Cory and Swaggy's Team won and they were the Tribunal. And, as you can imagine, this episode was all about Dee (as for the title of the episode) and she was the one that made the worst decisions. First of all, after seeing Rogan flirt with Jenn, she decided right away to make her plan so she would be eliminated. She didn't have to nominate her because the house nominated her on what was the funniest part of the episode. Of course Wes and Bananas (now BFFs) had to do something and they instructed Jenn on a speech and this showed how really dumb she is. I'm sorry, she didn't look like a bad person, she just looked one of those dumb barbie girls that no nothing about life. I kinda felt sorry for her. But anyway, she had the worst speech ever but no matter what, she would be nominated. As for the Tribunal that was a whole other thing.

Because now everyone wants to go to an elimination, both Jenny and Tori wanted to go in now, against Jenn. However, Dee had both on her TOP List. With a slight difference - Jenny was her number one. And this is where the dumb decisions start. Tori talks to her because, apparently, Dee promised both of them (Tori an Jenny) things and Tori is with Jordan which makes Jordan also mad at Dee if she chooses Jenny instead which... She did.

When the elimination started, Dee went with Jenny... Even after TJ lets everyone know that one of the new rules are that if you are on the Tribunal, you can nominate yourself! How dumb was that?! You keep saying you are so good but when you get the chance to take down someone you have beef with and still pick someone else?! That was the worst decision ever! Not only both Tori and Jordan are against her, but everyone in the house thinks she's not that great (which she isn't, in my opinion). I'm happy for Jenny though because, yes, she did win the elimination, and I like Jenny, but Dee's plan just didn't work. Because now, besides all the thing that I said before, even if she gets to the final, she's going to run against Jenny and most likely loose (as TJ said, Jenny could take out basically everyone in the game) so... Yes Dee, you are really dumb.

So, these are my thoughts on the latest The Challenge episode. The next one looks fun. Not only the actual challenge but it looks like we're going to have some drama between Bananas and Ashley so... Can't wait for that!

The Challenge: Total Madness | Season 35 Episode 1 - "Mad World"

Hello everyone!

I'm back with The Challenge rants, and what a perfect time for this series to be back! I feel like this was exactly what we needed right now - some 'mindless' TV that is entertaining, somehow educational and just fun! And, from the looks of it, this is going to be an hell of a season! (I know, I say this basically in the beginning of every The Challenge season but this one... Looks really promising!).

There are so many changes this time around. I really can't wait to talk about them so, let's not waste any time.

First things first - I guess they really payed attention to what the fans have been saying and they didn't waste any time. They jumped right away to the actual challenge and only after that we got to know a bit more about the players, mainly the new ones. The challenge itself wasn't that groundbreaking but you couldn't really ask for much because of all the players involved. I don't know if I just didn't pay much attention to it but it looks like this season they have a lot more players - 28. And, unlike some previous seasons, they didn't get rid of any in that first challenge (aka it wasn't a purge). Instead, it was an actual challenge, that lead to a tribunal, nominations and elimination - the whole thing. But before we get to the nominations an such, let's talk about their living conditions.

Finally they did something different with that. Instead of the 'usual' mansion, this time they're living in an underground bunker, with little to none 'pleasure' things (even though they have a pretty nice gym space and an inside pool). I liked that 'twist'. It makes the things more interesting and I bet this time they won't be going out to parties and such, which might just mean that there's going to be a lot more fights, because they're all inside this bunker, at all times.

The second main difference of the season is an unexpected alliance. Wes and Bananas. That's right, this two are teaming up and now all the others players have to be scared. If they were good by themselves, together they're going to make the perfect game and, even though I don't care much for Wes, I can't wait to see this thin unfold. The truth is, this whole 'vendetta' between them was just for fun now. It was obvious that they weren't 'enemies' for real, neither inside nor outside the house. It was pretty much only for the sake of the series and because it was 'tradition'. I'm kind of glad they are done with that and that they're teaming up.

And well, the last main difference of the season is really that, in order to get to the final, you must go to elimination. There's no free rides this season. That is huge and it's really going to impact the way they used to play this game. Now, everyone is going to want to go to elimination. And, if I were them, I would try to go as soon as possible because the possibilities of going against someone 'big' are less likely. 

As for the new players and the ones to go to elimination, before I end the review, I didn't care much for the Tribunal (Cory, Rogan and Jenny) and they went with the usual 'Rookies' thing (Asaf against Jay). Even though I liked both of them, you know, I'm a sucker for the underdog so I wanted Jay to win and he did, so I'm happy. And unless he does some dumb sh*t throughout the season, he's becoming one of my favorites. So, as of now, I'm rooting for Bananas (obvious), Jenna, Jenny, Mattie and Jay. That's it!

The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2 | Season 34 Episode 17 - "Reunion"

Hello everyone!

So, it's the end of another season of The Challenge which means Reunion episode.

Unfortunately, this season's Reunion was really poor and disappointing. There was barely any drama (the main reason why I like this Reunion Specials, to be honest) and there was no new things that we didn't see during the season. It was just more of the same and, to be completely real with you, I don't even know what to talk about in this rant. I'm going to try my best but don't expect a big post.

First things first, the hosts of this Reunion. I like Justina, don't get me wrong, but this was a poor duo and, to be honest, why two hosts? Like, Nick (I believe that's his name) barely did anything. It might as well just have been Justina. 

Then the whole Paulie and Cara thing. By now you already know that I despise them but, at least, Paulie can separate the show from real life where Cara just can't. I've said this many times but Cara have self-esteem issues and she just isn't happy in her own skin. It's obvious. And I truly believe she should step out of The Challenge for a couple of season because she needs to find herself and find her own peace. It's just like Laurel said - she wasn't in a good place and it was exhausting to be around Cara. I'm not a fan of Laurel but I believe her and I'm with her in this. I couldn't be friends with Cara. Besides her being fake as hell, she just have so many issues with herself and, to be honest, she needs to be single for a while. She has been with someone all this years that I've seen her on The Challenge and I think she's one of those cases of people that are so used to be with someone else that she doesn't know who she really is. Besides, it's clear that Paulie isn't good for her. But don't mistake this for sympathy, I still hate Cara, but she does need to work on herself. And talking about Paulie, I saw someone say this on a comment and I totally agree with this person - Paulie was high as f*ck in this episode. It was so noticeable in his eyes (and the way he was acting, which was worse than usual).

And well, this episode was just awesome for some good Bananas memes, which I appreciate. There was also a lot of talk about Jordan and the sides and the numbers and I don't even know what else to add to that because, again, it's the same thing that we've seen during the whole season.

I'm going to leave it at that and, if you wanna know my opinion on something specific, just hit me up and I will gladly talk about it.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2 | Season 34 Episode 12 - "The Right Honorable Rogan"

Hello people!

Brand new week of rants and prepare yourselves - I have some strong opinions about this episode of The Challenge (as I always do, let's be honest).

This is a f*cking joke! For real. I was loving the beginning of the season. The big moves, sending home big players (even if one of those was Bananas) it was pretty exciting and something never seen on The Challenge. But now... It's just dumb! Ever since the UK won and still decided to send into elimination one of their own I knew this was doomed and there's no way Team UK is going to win this season. And that wasn't dumb enough, they were even dumber this episode.

The episode began with quite a lot of drama, to be honest. Right away we saw Rogan and Joss talking to Paulie saying that they wanted to throw in Dee (they said she was the weakest on their team *cough* Kayleigh *cough*) and this coming from Rogan, who looked like had feelings for her. That thing got a bit brushed over by Tori and Jordan's engagement. They threw a little party, with Zach even having a speech and it was pretty cute. Guess who didn't go to the party? Cara, yes. This just shows how awful she is as a human being. She just needs to sort her sh*t out. Only people who have miserable lives act like that so... Take some time off and work on yourself. You really need it.

Anyway, after that we get into the week's challenge and... It was awful. The challenge itself didn't look too difficult but what was the worst was that CT threw the challenge (aka making Team UK loose) because of all the things with Rogan, Joss and Paulie about throwing in Dee. For real, that was just the dumbest thing ever! And even more because, in the end of the day, Dee didn't even go into elimination. It was just really stupid!

But I'm getting ahead of myself. So, Team USA won and they chose Kam as the speaker and she chose to join the Tribunal Nany and Leroy. It was just a plan to keep an eye on Nany and... Ugh! This whole thing between the three just annoyed the hell out of me. I'm with Nany on this, to be honest. First, I never really liked Kam. Second, Kam just thinks she's the sh*t and she really isn't. And third, I'm really disappointed at Leroy for joining Paulie and not join the right alliance (who isn't even an alliance, they're just all friends). Basically everyone left this season is f*cking annoying and just can't deal with them. 

As for the nominations, there wasn't really a nomination. They all basically voted for Tori and that's it. I felt really sorry for her because not only she just went in, but also she just got engaged and... C'mon! Give her a break! As I said, it just messes with me on a whole another level.

Well, as I mentioned before, in the end, Tori went in but not against Dee - against Jenny. That was the worst scenario because not only I like both of them, but also they were the strongest of Team UK (one more proof that they're just dumb). And well, it looks like half of my prediction was right - Jenny did go into elimination but not against Dee, against Tori. But the biggest surprise of all was that Tori actually won against Jenny! Jenny looked like a beast and that no one could really beat her but I guess I was wrong. I'm still happy though because everyone keeps underestimate Tori and I believe she could take out all of the remaining girls.

Next episode looks like it's going to be a huge one. Not only it is called "Dee-Day", and after Rogan's betrayal she sure as hell is going to retaliate, but also because a guy and a girl are going to go home right away - the worst two of the challenge are going home... And it's a swimming challenge so finally Cara might be going home! I sure as hell hope so!
