American Horror Story: Double Feature | Season 10 Episode 9 - "Blue Moon"

Hello!

Ugh! Thank god this season is almost ending!

As per usual, exciting seasons of American Horror Story just end up being horrendous once it hits the halfway mark. And I had such high expectations for this season! I mean, not initially, but after a few episodes of Red Tide, I really thought they had finally done something right and, even though I didn't like the ending of Part 1, I could forgive it... If they gave us a good Part 2. Unfortunately, they weren't able to.

This episode really shows the mess that AHS has become. I can't say that it wasn't interesting, because it was, but the amount of conspiracy theories they used in this episode is bonkers! There was a new conspiracy theory every 5 minutes - from Marilyn Monroe's death, to Area 51 and even about the moon landing. It's crazy! And not even the 'past' is saving it anymore. Heck, I would go as far as saying that the 'present' has becoming a lot appealing to me! Not that it is good, because it isn't, but I guess that's why I'm more interested in that aspect - because it's so outrageous that I just want to see what insane thing they come up with next. While the past, although better acted, it's just boring at this point. We get it, America made a deal with the aliens, they gave us technology such as the microwave and the iPod, and yeah... That's it.

Yeah... I don't even know what else to say about this episode. The last part, again, was bonkers! With the delivering of multiple babies, Calico's story of how she was abducted (which was just to introduce the moon landing conspiracy) and with an existential crises from our gay couple. Again, everything is so over the top that the only thing you can do is laugh.

American Horror Story: Double Feature | Season 10 Episode 8 - "Inside"

Hello everyone!

New episode of AHS and can you believe that we only have 2 more episodes left?!

That's right and, to be honest, I don't know how I feel about the whole thing. I really enjoyed Part 1 (apart from the ending) but I really disliked last week's episode. However, I think I got my expectations so low that now I enjoyed it?! I mean, they did present us a lot more stuff, but I guess I just accepted the fact that this Part is a lot more cheesy so I'm just rolling with it.

What I'm not rolling with is the acting in this part - specially all the actors from the present day. Once again, I guess their intent is to be cheesy, but their acting is so bad! Specially Kaia Gerber's... Ugh, it's a shame because she looks like such a nice girl but she's not a good actress...

However, I do have to say that, because of the whole thing with the pregnancy, I'm kind of curious to see where this story-line is going. On a technical level, the story that takes place in the past is a lot better and better acted, but because the story in present day is so over the top, I actually felt myself wanting to see more of it so... I just hope the cringe factor is intentional.

And well, I guess that's it from me.

American Horror Story: Double Feature | Season 10 Episode 5 - "Gaslight"

Hey everyone!

Yes, Episode 5! Let's talk about this one!

I actually thought this would be the last episode of Part 1 but, in a way, I'm glad it wasn't because I'm really enjoying this season.Yes, this episode ended up being a little predictable in some aspects but I think overall the season has been pretty solid - not only in terms of story but also performances, cinematography and message. I've seen some comments and I feel like most people aren't getting all the topics this season is touching, which is a shame because it's actually pretty deep. Might be a bit cliché, but it's still an interesting message about art and artists and what greed does to people. Amazing!

And on the topic of predictability, this episode starts out right with something that I was not expecting - Doris giving birth to a baby boy. I truly believed something was going to happen to the baby or to her while she was still pregnant but I guess I was wrong which is actually a good thing. However, from that point on, the episode becomes a little more predictable. I do have to mention though  that scene where Harry drinks the blood that comes out with the baby?! That was messed  up!

Anyway... So Doris and the baby go home and, as you can expect, things go south really fast. Alma drinks some of the baby's blood and, eventually, they have to tell Doris about the pills. And we all knew that Doris wasn't talented enough to take the pills, everyone knew, to be honest, and that was the plan. Harry tried to prevent it but Alma tricks Doris, that  sneaky little thing. Truly, that kid needs to learn a lesson! She truly got under my skin this episode, so props to the actress because she's doing an amazing job!

But yeah... Alma tricks Doris and Doris does take the pill and... Yes, she becomes one of the pale people... As expected. And all of this happens while she's alone at home and while Karen and Mickey break into her house to 'steal' the baby.

Turns out  Belle knows about the baby and tells Karen to steal the baby for her. But Karen is enough of it and says that the only way to protect the baby is to steal him and keep him, and so that's what she does. However, when  Karen and Mickey break into Harry's home, they are faced with Doris becoming a pale people and everything  goes downhill, to the point where Karen is basically forced to take the pill otherwise she will be killed by the other pale people that are now chasing after her. Which was what Mickey wanted all along, to be honest. Not in a mean way though.. He just wanted to be with Karen and be successful together, which is kind of cute.

And well... The episode ends in an unexpected way. Not the part where Harry sets Doris free to 'be' with the other pale people, but the part where Karen and Mickey go to the beach and she feeds on him, creates her masterpiece and then kills herself and and walks into the sea.

It was a really bittersweet ending but, the truth is, we don't know what really happened to them. Not only we don't know if Mickey could be killed liked that but also we see in the preview that they take someone from the sea which I bet is Karen and maybe she's alive?! We don't know, but I would like Mickey to be alive. Regardless, the next episode - the finale of part 1 - looks like it's going to be a ride so... I'm curious to see where this ends.

American Horror Story: Double Feature | Season 10 Episode 4 - "Blood Buffet"

Hello people!

I know, late with this one... But I promise you I won't take long with this one and I'm gonna post Episode 5 right after so... Be on the look out for that.

So episode 4 was all about how it all started. And even though we didn't really need to know, it was an interesting episode. At least it gave us Drag Queen Evan Peters so that's already enough. No, but for real, I liked to see how it all started with The Chemist going into town and I loved the fact that it was Mickey who basically got this pill thing going. (In case you haven't noticed yet, Mickey is probably my favorite character this season! Macaulay Culkin is doing an amazing job!).

As I said, we see the progression of people who take the pill and it's interesting because the first person that takes it becomes one of those pale people. And actually, it was someone that, to me, sounded like a good singer but, turns out, he wasn't talented enough. This just shows that, you might be good at something, but to be a true artist you gotta have a spark and I liked that aspect. A bit depressing though, but still interesting.

After that guy, we see how Belle started  as a failed self-published author and, fed up with not having the credit she deserves (as well as a fight with her husband) she takes the pill and right away she rights a full novel and then kills her husband. It was pretty interesting and kind of brutal. And in the meantime we also find out that Lark (Billie Lourd) took the pill to become a successful tattoo artist - which means that it's not just your usual singer/writer/actor that can be true artists - people like tattoo artist and designers are artists as well.

The last person that we see take the pill is Austin who, as I said, is working as a failed Drag Queen because the owner of the theater where he was going to show his play, suddenly vanished (we then find out that it was Belle who killed him).

And yeah, I guess that's it for this episode. As I said, not really necessary, but still interesting. I mostly liked the part where The Chemist explains her job and the experiments that she did previously. Oh, and of course, I liked how relevant Mickey was this episode.

Okay, I'm going to start working on that episode 5 rant now because there's a lot to that one so, in the meantime, let me know how you felt about this 'flashback' episode and I'll talk to you very soon!

American Horror Story: Double Feature | Season 10 Episode 3 - "Thirst"

Hey!

I don't know what everyone's been watching but I'm loving this season! I've seen some pretty harsh comments and I don't get them. So far I feel like they have been doing a great job building story, the characters and just making me interesting in what's to come. Yes, it might be a bit predictable (I feel like I know where this is going) but you never know! Plus, at least they are keeping the momentum going and, for once, I like pretty much all the characters. The little girl Alma is disappointing me and she's becoming a bit annoying, but I think that's the intent. I'm pretty sure this is to show that she's not fully developed so that's why you can't a have a child vampire. That has been a concern in pretty much all the vampire things I've been watching throughout the years and this is another of those cases. Also, I'm still fascinated by the way they're writing the story and grounding it in reality. I know vampires aren't exactly believable but, if there's vampires out there, this is how it could happen so... Yeah, I'm still digging that part of the story. But let's talk about the actual events of this episode because there's quite a few things to talk about.

To me, the star of this episode, and the story-line that I was the most interested in is Ursula's story-line. She arrives in Provincetown to check on Harry and gets herself involved in all this mess. Not that she's really phased by it, no. She meets Mickey and, after reading his scripts, she figures something is up and Mickey actually tells her right away (I guess he has nothing to lose), and instead of being shocked or something, she wants to turn this pill thing into a business, and it's through her that we get to meet The Chemist.

The scene where we learn more about The Chemist is actually pretty interestingly put together, moving from past to present, and that's when another plot evolves. This Chemist wants basically everyone dead - Ursula, Mickey, Harry, Alma and Doris. The thing is, Austin and Belle had thought about killing Harry and Alma already so... Right now there's two plots with Harry in the middle, and I'm so interested in the whole thing!

And then there's also Alma. She also comes clean to Harry who initially tells her to stop taking the pills but she's smarter and says that she only does it if he does as well which... He fails and so Harry starts collecting blood for Alma as well. And that's actually because of that that Austin and Belle say that they need to kill Harry and Alma. I'm pretty sure there's more than meets the eye and I'm super interested in finding what it is but, for now, I'm really happy with how the season is going.

The episode actually ends with Alma killing the police officer and Ursula just being 'okay' with it and Harry arriving home and finding the dead police in the middle of their living room.

Again, I'm so curious to find out where this is going and, as I said, as of now, I'm happy with this season. I'm pretty sure this first half is almost over because there's only 10 episodes total and this is the 3rd one so... Maybe only two more? I don't know... Regardless, I'm pretty sure the stories are connected.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 10 - "Apocalypse Then"

Hello everyone!

Here we are with the final rant of American Horror Story: Apocalypse and, as you can expect, I have a whole lot of things to talk about.

Truth be told, I feel very weird about this episode. Not only I watched it in two parts (I had to leave for some time and then watch the rest) but I also feel like my thoughts are divided into three different sections - the first half of the episode I quite enjoyed (I mean, there was still parts from the past, but okay...), the middle part I didn't like, and the final part I thought it was nice. So, in summary, I just wish the middle part could have met the rest of the episode even though, if they did change it, at least, in the way I would like, the end would be totally different but yeah... Anyway...

The episode starts right away with more flashbacks and that made my hopes get instantly down. I was so sick of the flashbacks and was really hoping this would be all present day and seeing that right in the beginning... It didn't look good to me. I then made piece with it because we find out a lot of things such as how the witches got Mallory and Coco into Outpost 3 as well as made them forget about who they were and create new identities, so Mallory's powers could grow. The only issue I had with this was that Cordelia wasn't thinking about stopping the apocalypse, she just wanted to kill Michael. But okay...

Then we see then finding about Dinah's involvement in all of this and right after we also see Cordelia, Myrtle and Madison bury themselves in the swamp mud to survive the nuclear bombings.

And that's when we get back to Present day (finally!).

We see the Coven facing Michael Langdon and then that's when the nice things start to happen!

Dinah pledges allegiance to the Antichrist, but right away a newly regenerated Marie Laveau kills Dinah for her betrayal. I love Angela Basset so I was so stoked to see her back (even though I knew she was going to be in this episode).

Cordelia then destroys Mead while Madison shoots Langdon to buy time for Mallory to enact the time travel spell. Then, a big chain of events happen! Michael gets back to life while Madison is distracted and my favorite part of the whole episode was Michael blowing up with Madison's head! That was priceless! Not only I don't like Madison, but it was also pretty surprising, so loved it!

After killing Madison, Marie Laveau tries to do something but Michael rips out her heart, eats it and, when Coco tries to do something as well, he also kills her! And, while all of this is happening, Brock comes out of no where (I didn't even remember that he was still in the Outpost) and stabs Mallory, leaving her really weak and not able to do the time travel spell. That's what the most expected thing happens - Cordelia kills herself so Mallory can have her full power and do the spell.

And, the worst part of the episode happens.

Mallory performs the spell and returns to 2015, where she runs over a younger Langdon multiple times, killing him. 

Like, how could something like that happen?! I get that he was younger and so not as strong as in present day but... C'mon! He got shot like 20 times in the present day and he survived. How could he be run over and not to?! I got really pissed off with that because, besides loving Michael to death and wanting him to win, this was just quick and, in my opinion, poorly written.

Anyway... Mallory then, eventually, returns to the Coven house and, in a way, saves Queenie, Misty and Nan from their previous fates. 

This also messed me up a little because I thought she had to go back to 'present day' but no, she was still in 2015... I don't know.. It kind of makes sense but it kinda doesn't... All I know is that, the only thing that I enjoyed about this part was that she knew where Madison was but she chose to let her stay in her own hell. At least, for a little longer.

And, in the very end, we see what then happens in 2020 and we see Timothy and Emily (remember them?!) meet, marry and a son together, who later kills his nanny. Then, LaVey, Crowe and Mead visit them, saying that they are there to help them. And that's the end.

I kind of liked that ending because it was a good homage to the Murder House ending and it basically told us that, no matter what you do, a new Antichrist is going to be born - it's the prophecy, and I liked that as well.

My only issue was that it looked like they thought 'Oh, remember Timothy and Emily? We haven't done anything with them. Let's put them here.'. That's kind of what it looked like to me but remember, Michael chose them to be in the Outpost saying that they had special DNA so... Maybe be knew all along that they would create a new Antichrist... Who knows?!

I just know that, as expected, they really rushed the events in this episode and the deaths that happened, didn't really happen and that made them way less impactful. At least, in my opinion. I think it would be a much better ending if Michael won (maybe not killing all the witches) and they they stretched this story to the next season (which was what a lot of people wanted). That would be way better but, what can you do?!

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 9 - "Fire and Reign"

So, we are reaching the end of this season of American Horror Story.

For some odd reason, I thought it would have more than 10 episodes but, from the looks of it, and from what I've seen everyone talking about, the next episode is going to be the last one and... I don't know how I feel about it. The season started pretty strong and, the 6 first episodes were great (episode 5 not so much, but I'll let it split) but this last three... Sure this one was better then the previous one, but all of them have been pretty boring... I don't know what it is about this episodes that I'm not enjoying as much, but maybe I'm tired of flashbacks and I just want to get into the actual stuff. And that worries me because, if next episode is the last one, I'm almost 100% sure they are going to rush it and it will disappoint me. Sometimes is better to have low expectations, to be honest, but I feel like next episode won't live up to what was the beginning of the season. Let's hope not!

Anyway, like I said, this episode was better, mainly because we got answers to a lot of stuff, one of them being the witches and what happened to them. Right in the beginning of the episode we see Dinah helping Michael get inside the Coven house and just kill basically all of them, the ones not dead being Cordelia, Myrtle, Mallory, Misty, Coco and Madison. Of course Cordelia tries to get them back, but she can't, and that's when Madison reveals that Michael can erase the souls of people, making them 'non-existent'. 

The remaining girls take refuge in Misty's swamp-shack, where Myrtle tells them of an ancient spell that no witch has ever been able of casting, a spell that can undo past events, just like when Mallory not only cured that dear but also made him younger. And this is what set's everything. They think Mallory can bring some of the witches back to life by undoing what happened but first, in order to test Mallory's power, in a way that Michael won't know what they're doing (aka something that won't change the future), Myrtle asks Mallory to travel to Russia in 1918, and save Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanova, a secret witch.

Mallory's attempt to save Anastasia fails, though Myrtle notes that she is the first witch to successfully travel through time. 

Meanwhile, while the witches are trying to undo Michael's actions, we see more of what Michael have been doing. Not only he's pissed that he didn't get to kill all the witches, but he's still pretty lost on what to do and how to make the apocalypse happen, and that's when Mutt and Jeff come to action!

We see that they have been controlling Ms. Mead the whole time and they set up a meeting with Michael. In that meeting they inform Michael about The Cooperative (another piece of the puzzle). We learn that The Cooperative is, in fact, the Illuminati, which was a nice touch to this season, to be honest, my favorite thing about this episode, and they tell Michael that this organization is made up of world leaders and important people that sold their soul to Satan.

After that, Langdon meets with the Illuminati, informing them about the Outposts and begins to plan the end of the world.

I also should say that we also find out how Ms. Venable gets involved with the Cooperative - she was just 'referred to' by Mutt and Jeff.

So, we got basically all our answers in this episode so I bet next episode is going to be all present day again and, since it looks like it's going to be the last one, we are going to see a battle between the Witches and Michael. I still don't see how the witches are going to win against Michael, Mallory might be strong but I still don't see her winning against him and, to be fair, I hope Michael wins because that would be a pretty big twist! I don't know about you but I think it would be sick!

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 7 - "Traitor"

Hello people!

Today I am here with the rant of the new American Horror Story episode. Unfortunately, not my favorite.

I feel like I say this in basically all flashback episodes, and I've explained this already, but I don't enjoy them as much as the 'present day' episodes and this week's episode wasn't exception. I have really mixed feelings towards this episode because I feel like it was necessary. It gave us a lot of information that we needed and that we wanted to know but at the same time I wasn't surprised nor excited about it so I just feel weird.

So, as I said, this episode tied a lot of loose ends, one of them being Dinah Stevens.

Right in the beginning of the episode we learn that Dinah is a voodoo witch (the queen actually) and we see  Cordelia reach out to her in a way to arrange a meeting with Papa Legba in an attempt to prevent Langdon's plans.This brought back another cool character from Coven and, actually, it brought a big surprise - Nan. It was really unexpected and this must have been my favorite part of this episode because, although I wasn't that attached to Nan, it was a nice touch and something that barely anyone was expecting so... I liked it.

Anyway, after revealing that he owns Nan's soul, Papa Legba agrees to help entrap Langdon under the condition of Cordelia giving him the souls of the remaining girls. Of course Cordelia refuses and Papa Legba just disappears with Nan.
Meanwhile this is happening, we see the return of another character, but this time, a much recent one.
In order to learn more about the warlocks and their plans, Madison enlists the help of Myrtle's long time friend, Bubble McGee, an witch-actress who has the ability to read minds.
At a dinner party help by Myrtle, Bubbles discovers that Ariel and Baldwin know about the death of John Henry and that they are planning to kill all the witches.
Back in the Coven's house, we see Coco developing her powers (not much though) and, suddenly, she chokes and dies. That's when we get deeper into Mallory's powers and we see her taking the piece of cake out of Coco's throat and just bringing her to life (sort of). After learning this, Zoe tells Cordelia and even confides that she thinks it's not Michal who's making Cordelia weak, but Mallory, who might actually be the next Supreme.
I can't say this was surprising, because I saw a lot of people predicting that, but I do prefer this idea over Mallory being an angel so I hope they stick to this. There's still the possibility of her actually be an angel, mostly because of what Zoe said about never seeing a power and a spell that could do that, but I hope they stick with her just being a really powerful witch.
Then, we see another of those little montages of the Seven Wonders, now Mallory being the tested one, to which she passes after successfully resurrecting John Henry, which wasn't a big surprise to me because I predicted that he was coming back. Mainly because he's a main character this season but yeah.
Then, in the very end of the episode, the coven capture Ariel, Baldwin and Mead, and burn them at the stake. And that's how the episode ended.
And, before I end this rant, I just wanted to add a few things. First, I need to mention that we also saw how Myrtle came back to life, which was a nice touch that some people where wondering so, nice. Not so nice was the fact that neither Even Peters not Cody Fern were in the episode, and I'm not okay with it. Just wanted to point that out. Okay, rant over.
I don't really have many predictions for next episode. Just that I think there's still going to be one more episode with flashbacks and not just this one as I predicted last week. There's still a few things for us to understand, mainly how the apocalypse actually happened, so I feel like next episode is going to be that. Maybe they'll intertwine with some 'present day' stuff but, I don't know. Let me know what you think and I'll talk to you tomorrow!

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 6 - "Return to Murder House"

Hello everyone!

The wait is over! The long awaited Murder House episode is here and it did not disappoint!

I have to say, I had really big expectations about this episode! Murder House is one of my favorite seasons and I'm that basic girl who loves Tate and Violet so, I just couldn't wait for this. Well, I can't say it exceeded my expectations, because it didn't, but it did not disappoint either. The episode was exactly what I was expecting. Yes, there was some stuff that I would never guess, just like the Moira part of the story, but like the Tate and Violet stuff, as well as the Tate and Michael 'encounter', I knew those things were going to happen.

Anyway, the episode starts with Madison and Behold buying the Murder House, just like some people predicted. Right away they felt something odd about the place. Then, they moved to cast a spell in order to make the spirits of the house show themselves. The first thing that they see is Tate and Ben talking, and Tate asking Ben for him to talk to Violet in a way to make her talk to him (Tate). After them, they encounter Constance, who agrees to talk to them if they banish Moira's ghost from the house, permanently. This, as I guess, must have been one of people's favorite thing, seeing Jessica Lange back. I myself couldn't really care that much. Her characters never were my favorites. Although, I did understand that she was going to be major for this episode and for this story so, I guess I was happy to see her back.

So, Madison and Behold do as Constance asked and set Moira free. Constance then starts telling them her story with Michael.

She says that she sensed something evil about him from the very beginning. In his youth, he began killing animals and then moved to his babysitter, just like we saw in the end of Murder House. In that moment, she thought she was raising a serial killer. But then, Michael ages ten years overnight, and so Constance asks for a priest's help, who then Michael ends up killing. It's in that moment that Constance realizes that sooner or later she's going to die on the hands of Michael, so she decides to go to the Murder House and kill herself there, where she then is reunited with her children, Tate, Beauregard and a little girl with no eyes.

After talking to Constance, Madison and Behold then go to talk to Ben, who tells them about all the times that he spent with Michael, treating him like his own son. This was something pretty sweet, actually. And I really liked to see a vulnerable side from Michael. You know, I'm a sucker for bad guys who are vulnerable and Michael is no exception. You could see in those moments that he's not actually evil, but that he became evil overtime and with what happened next.

It's then Vivien who tells Madison and Behold that a cult appeared in the house, looking for Michael. One of the members being Ms. Mead. They then to some type of satanic spell or something and that's when we see Michael turn to the dark side.

In the end, Vivien tells them that Michael's father is neither Ben nor Tate, but the evil of Murder House. 

And, in the very end, before leaving, Madison reunited Tate and Violet, which was, to be honest, the reason why most people were excited for this episode.

Before I end, I also need to mention that Sarah Paulson was the one to direct this episode and I quite liked what she did with the episode. It wasn't anything 'amazing' but it had the American Horror Story feel that I like so, good job.

I don't really have much predictions for next episode, to be honest. I do think that the next one is still going to be a 'flashback' and just after that we are going to go back to present time and really fight Michael. In the next episode we are probably going to find out more about the whole Mallory, Coco and Dinah stuff so, I'm curious about that. And, just a side note, I take back what I said in my last rant. I still think Murder House is the Sanctuary. This episode kind of made me make 'sure' of it because they did perform that satanic ritual or something in there so... Maybe it is the Sanctuary?! I don't know, but I'm going to keep that predictions.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 5 - "Boy Wonder"

Hello everyone and here it (finally) is the new AHS rant!

So... What can I say about this episode? It was good. It wasn't like episode 3, but it was better than last episode. I don't know what else to say. For some odd reason I never like 'flashback' episodes as much as the episodes in the present day, but that didn't mean that I didn't like this episode. Actually, it had a lot of nice development of the story-line and it set things up nicely for the next one (which I'm so excited about).

Anyway, let's get into specifics and then I'll talk about predictions and what not.

The episode starts basically where the last one ended. We see some type of vision of a destroyed world and then we see Cordelia waking up. She tells the other witches the vision that she had and then decides that Michael does need to do the Seven Wonders test. Some of the witches don't agree with her decision, one of them being Myrtle.

Then, back in the Coven house, Cordelia let's Myrtle know that she is dying and slowly starting to loose her Supremacy.

Back in the warlocks house, John Henry Moore discovers Langdon's true self and decides that he needs to talk to Cordelia and so leaves. Unfortunately, Mead interferes and ends up killing him.

After that, we move on to the Seven Wonder test, which got me surprised for two different reasons. First, I thought that he wasn't going to do it because she said that it was in two weeks time or something and we saw in the present day in the last episodes that Cordelia was still the Supreme so I thought that he wasn't even going to get that far. And second, I was surprised with how they edited the sequence. It was actually pretty clever and interesting. Quite different actually, and I liked it so, good job on that.

Well, in the very end of the test, that's when things get really interesting. Cordelia asks Langdon to bring Misty from her personal hell and, besides already knowing that Lily Rabe was going to be back, you also know that Michael can, indeed, do that so, you know things are going to work out 'fine'. Which they do.

Misty then tells Cordelia that she senses something evil about Michael and that's when Cordelia let the witches know that she never planned to make Michael the Supreme and that she is actually planning an army against him and that she used him to resurrect her students.

And then, the set up for the next episode. Cordelia asks Madison to investigate Langdon's origins and sends her to the Murder House. And that's how the episode ends. 

I'm so stoked for the next episode! Not only it is going to feature all of my favorite characters (which are all from the Murder House) but it will also be a longer episode with almost an hour, which is great!

Oh, and before I end this rant, I just need to mention two other things. One, we finally saw how Coco came into place of being a witch and everything and, of course, she had to have the dumbest power of all. Two, where was Evan Peters in this episode?! That must have been my only issue with this episode, to be honest. Luckily, we are going to have a lot of Evan Peters in the next one (or at least I hope so).

In terms of predictions, I have to say that I'm starting to doubt my prediction that Murder House is the Sanctuary. I'm starting to believe that there's no Sanctuary and, instead, I believe that Murder House might be the place where the witches are right now. Having Cordelia's vision in mind, if that really happened and Michael destroyed the Coven's house, they had to move somewhere else so I believe that might be the Murder House. Also, I don't know if Mallory has, in fact, someone inside her. I still think Dinah is Queenie and Coco is Zoe but Mallory... I don't know. I also don't like the prediction that everyone is saying - that Mallory is an angel or something. I guess that's too cliche for AHS, in my opinion, so I hope they don't go with that.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 4 - "Could It Be... Satan?"

Hello everyone!

First of all, I'm sorry for being a little late with this rant. It's been hard to manage both my blog and my youtube channel at the same time with new content basically almost every day so, I hope you forgive me.

Second, I wasn't that pleased with the episode. I mean, I get that this episode was important to understand a lot of things, but after last week's episode, which was mind blowing, I have to say, I was disappointed.

So, basically the whole episode is flashbacks from three years ago. We see that Outpost 3 was a warlock school (only boys with power) just like the coven was a school just for girl witches. I saw some people predicting this so, it wasn't a surprise. We then see this school seek out for Michael Langdon because of his powers. They believe Michael is the Alpha, which is superior to the Supreme (which is always a women). We see this thing about witches and, now that I'm realizing, maybe that's the reason why I didn't enjoy this episode that much. This was heavily about witches and the coven and, as you know, Coven is my least favorite season so...

Anyway, they go look for Michael and put him through tests where he displays tremendous abilities. After seeing those, they decide to call the Witches School for a meeting in order to Cordelia see his powers and put him through the Seven Wonders Test (I think that's what it is called).

Cordelia refuses, afraid that he might be killed because there has never been an Alpha. So, in order to prove his power, Michael saves Queenie from eternal damnation at the Hotel Cortez, which was a big surprise, probably the best thing in this episode because I had no idea that this season was gonna feature Hotel as well as some character from that season, such as Mr. March, who was in this episode and which I loved! 

As well as saving Queenie, Michael also fetches Madison from her personal hell. I didn't remember her dying though, so this was a surprise.

And the episode basically ends like that.

However, it did make me change my mind about who Coco and Dinah are in fact. Mainly because Madison mentioned something about voodoo so she's clearly Queenie. Now, I wonder if Coco is in fact Zoe because in the flashback Zoe was the one to go with Cordelia and Myrtle to the warlocks' school. Now, it was Madison instead of Zoe so I wonder if Coco is Zoe. That would also make sense why Mallory was her assistance because we also saw in the flashback that Mallory really is a witch and she was in the witches school and Zoe believed she was really powerful so, I wonder all of that.

I hope it made some sense. This things get pretty confusing.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 3 - "Forbidden Fruit"

Hello people!

O-M-G! I have so much to talk to you about this episode of American Horror Story! This, right here, is the reason why I love this show so much and, just into episode 3 I can tell you that this season is, for sure, going to be on my TOP 3 favorite AHS seasons!

The episode was everything that I wanted and, like I said, I have so many thoughts and predictions so let's just jump right into it.

This week, the episode started rather oddly. I mean, we almost forget about all the events in the previous episode because the first things that we see is Michael interviewing everyone, getting to know their true selves and just trying to see who is evil (which, in the end, it's all that matters to him). It's pretty clear who he thinks is worth going to the Sanctuary (at least, in my opinion) - Mallory, Mr. Gallant and Dinah Stevens. I'm still on defense about Timothy and Emily, but I'll get into that later.

The interview gets particularly heated with Mallory (literally), when he keeps pushing her and she tells him that she doesn't know who she is and that she feels like someone else is inside her (hints for my prediction). Then, we get something quite amazing! She tries to leave and Michael keeps pushing her, ending in her making some flames shoot and Michael showing his true self to her (his demonic side, which I loved!).

After that, we get some resolution from the ending of last episode. We do find out that Ms. Mead is a robot and that she was basically made by the Cooperative.

While talking to Venable, the later confesses that she knows that she's not going to the Sanctuary and that's when they both decide the best thing to do is to just kill everyone.

Then, we move to something completely different and see that Brock is alive and has been looking for Coco and the place where she went. He sees a carriage pass by and then he decides to 'get a lift', arriving at the Outpost 3.

Venable and Ms. Mead decide to go see what's in the carriage and, in there, find a box with apples. That's when they decide to put their plan into action and put some venom in the apples, in order to kill everyone in a 'party' made just for that purpose.

Brock infiltrates Outpost 3 and attends Venable's party. Then, in a costume, he meats with Coco and, thinking that it's Langdon, she seduces him and takes him to her bedroom. There, Brock reveals himself to Coco and stabs her in the forehead.

Meanwhile, at the party, it comes the time to eat the apples and... everyone drops dead.

I have to say, I was surprised with this. I thought that Michael would appear or something and just ruin their plan but, he decided to ruin that later when Venable and Ms. Mead go to his bedroom and decide to shoot him. Of course this doesn't work and, instead, Michael makes Mead kill Venable and then, that's when we find out that Michael was the one to make her and that he had a 'prototype', making Mead 'look' like someone he meat in his childhood. This leads me to believe that his 'prototype' was Constance, that's what makes sense to me.

With basically everyone dead, that's when the witches come to action!

Cordelia Goode, Madison Montgomery and Myrtle Snow descend upon Outpost 3 and Cordelia revives three girls - Mallory, Dinah and Coco. And, in the very end, Madison says her iconic line to Mallory, and that's how the episode ends.

This was such a roller coaster and I have so many thoughts so let's get into them.

First we need to talk about Madison and her line. Besides being iconic from Scream Queens, it is also something that she said to Fiona and she came back to life in Coven. This makes me think that Fiona is 'inside' Mallory and that's why she felt like someone was inside her. Then, I was really confused on why she also revived Coco and Dinah but, after something thinking, my bet is that those girls are also witches from Coven in other bodies. I think that Dinah is, in fact, Misty and that Coco might be Nan. I say might because my next prediction is that they think she's Nan, that's why they revived her but, turns out, she isn't and she'll eventually die, for real. I also think this because we know that Lily Rabe is going to come back to play Misty so my bet is that she's going to be able to get to her real body but not Fiona, since Jessica Lange is just back for her role as Constance. This way, Billie Lourd will still be Mallory/Fiona. Oh, I guess I also need to had that, if you think about it, Dinah as always been the one to think the bright side of things and be grateful for stuff so that's why I say she's, in fact, Misty.

Now, to my next prediction.

There's no way all those people are dead for real, mostly Timothy and Emily. The stuff about their DNA is gonna come to action. They must be important to Michael for some reason so I think Michael is going to resurrect some of those people that died - Timothy, Emily and Mr. Gallant are my bets. He's going to take them to the Sanctuary - Murder House (yes, I still think Muder House is the Sanctuary), while the Witches are going to take Coco, Dinah and Mallory to their 'Coven House'. 

And, well, that is as far as my prediction goes. Of course I also think that some type of battle is going to happen, maybe the Witches will go to the Murder House to fight Michael... I don't know, but a battle is certain!

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 2 - "The Morning After"

Hello everyone!

So, just as promised, here I am with the new AHS rant.

I got to tell you, I really enjoyed this episode! To be honest, the whole episode was really enjoyable but that ending! Wow! I'm still pretty confused about it but still, loved it! I might be a little bias because Murder House was one of my favorite seasons and this episode featured some major elements from that season, mainly the rubber man! That must have been one of the best things from Murder House and see it again, after 7 years, was so freaking cool! And then, there's Michael, who was, no doubt, the star of this episode! They are setting his character like really high and I'm so here for it! You already know by now that I have a thing for villains and, although you know for sure that Michael is bad (oh so bad!), there's something about him (probably the fact that he's antichrist, maybe) that is so enigmatic and you are just so drawn to it. I have to give my props to Cody Fern because, and I said this in my last post, he's doing an amazing job with the character and, right now, I couldn't see anyone else playing Michael Langdon!

Anyway, enough of that, the devil doesn't need any more praising. Let's get into specifics.

Right in the beginning of the episode, Michael introduces himself to everyone in Outpost 3, and let them know that he's going to conduct some interviews in order to choose who's deserving to go to The Sanctuary.

Right away Mr. Gallant volunteers to be the first one to be interviewed and, in that questioning, Michael asks him about his sexual orientation as well as his hatred towards his grandmother.

Mr. Gallant also plays a big role in this episode and, you know, I'm all for an Evan Peters centered episode and, again, he did an amazing job, like he always does.

Well, this is when the Rubber Man comes in action. 

Obviously Mr. Gallant and Michael and some 'flirtation' and later, when the Rubber Man approaches Mr. Gallant in his bedroom, he thinks that it's Michael and yes, they have some pretty rough, heavy sex, which Evie catches them having.

Obviously, Evie being the diva and selfish person that she his, reports this to Ms. Mead, in order to have better changes into going to The Sanctuary.

Meanwhile, Timothy and Emily discover recent Cooperative e-mails from weeks prior detailing Venable's transgressions, such as implementing her own rules (aka the no sex rule).

Back to the Rubber Man story line... Of course Mr. Gallant is asked about who the Rubber Man is, but he doesn't say anything. Langdon then approaches him, to which Mr. Gallant says that he would never reveal his identity and Langdon asserts  that he is not the Rubber Man and that he would never have sex with him.

At the same time this is happening, Timothy decides to just forget the 'rules' and him and Emily have sex for the firs time. Of course this doesn't end well and they are caught. But, before we discuss how this ended (which was actually how the episode ended) we need to finish with the Rubber Man story line.

So, the Rubber Man appears to Mr. Gallant again, to seduce him but, Mr. Gallant, pretty mad at the fact that Michael told him that he would never have sex with him, stabs the Rubber Man in the stomach with a pair of scissors. Langdon then appears and Gallant finds himself looking upon his grandmother's bloody corpse.

I guess I should have guessed this would happen, mainly because Joan Collins was credited as just a Guest Star so... Yeah, I'm kind of sad that she died, because she was pretty funny but I don't want Mr. Gallant to die either so, rather Evie than him.

Now, back to the juicy stuff (like, literally).

Timothy and Emily are sentenced to death because they broke the 'rules' but, as they are about to shoot them, Timothy gets an old of the gun and shoots Mead, then revealing, 'behind' her wound, internal wiring and some white liquid pouring out of it.

That got me like really confused! All this thing about the Devil and everything I can, somehow, understand but this?! I'm pretty confused so, if you have any predictions, let me know, because I would love to hear them.

One thing I know for sure though, I'm almost 100% sure that The Sanctuary is the Murder House. There's to many things pointing to that, like the Rubber Man in this episode and the fact that Michael was born there... I don't know, but my money is on that.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse | Season 8 Episode 1 - "The End"

Hello everyone!

Here we are with a brand new American Horror Story season!

This was a season that got everyone really hyped, because this was the Coven/Murder House crossover - the crossover that everyone was waiting for. And, because of that, and because Coven and Murder House are the ones that the fans like the most (I like Murder House, Coven not so much) so everyone was waiting for this season with really high expectations. I can't say I wasn't excited, but I wasn't like that hyped - of course I want to see Violet and Tate back (and they are going to be in this season) but, maybe because I wasn't the biggest fan of Coven, I wasn't as excited as everyone else. I guess that's a good thing though, so I don't have my hopes up. Anyway, right of the batch I can say that this first episode met my expectations - I think it was good to set things up, get to know the new characters but still have some questions about the whole thing. Also, this first episode already had something that I wasn't expecting - Michael Langdon. I can say that this character is the one that I'm most curious and excited about, and I wasn't expecting him right in the first episode. Yes, it was only in the very end, but I wasn't expecting him at all, so that was nice.

So, as the title of the episode says, this first episode is The End, the end of the world were, in the future, nuclear missile destroy the world and start a nuclear winter.

With this happening, of course some people had to survive, and those people are the new characters that we meet - Coco, Mallory, Mr. Gallant and Evie (the later being one of my favorites right away just because she brings a little of light to the whole chaos with her humor).

As well as this characters, we also meet two young characters that are saved by an organization called the Cooperative, who rescue young adults based on their genetic makeup (for what, still remains to be answered). This two young adults - Timothy and Emily - are sent to Outpost 3 were they, as well as us, the audience, meet a few more characters - Mrs. Venable (played by Sarah Paulson) and Kathy Bates' character (who I can't remember the name of).

When they arrive at Outpost 3, that's when we see that that's where Coco and were crew ended up as well. And, as expected, some creepy things go down in that place. There's still a lot more that we need to find out although I don't know if were getting to see a lot more of this place since, in the very end of the episode, like I mentioned before, Michael Langdon arrives saying that there's another place were they can go, but there's a catch - he's going to see who's worthy of going and, who isn't, is just going to die so... I'm expecting some deaths in the next episode - maybe Coco or Evie... 

I also have a feeling that the place Michael Langdon is talking about is the Coven house. I haven't seen that season in a while so I can't be sure but we don't really know if the house has a bunker or something or the witches can just do some magic spell to protect the house from all the nuclear fall out. 

I don't know... There's also the possibility that he's talking about the Murder House I mean, it's the place where he was born and maybe he still lives there... All I know is that there has to be some type of connection and I just can't wait for that.

I'm really curious about Michael Langdon, his character is so intriguing and most of us have been wondering about him for years so I can't wait to dive deeper into that. Also, I think Cody Fern is perfect for the role. I really liked him in American Crime Story and I can't wait to see what he does with Michael Langdon.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 11 - "Great Again"

Hello everyone!

Unlike The Challenge, this is the last episode of AHS:Cult and, because it is a season finale, I have tons to talk about. Actually, I don't have that much but there's some stuff I need to discuss. I haven't seen any reviews or anything pior this rant so this are all my opinions and thoughts on the finale.

First of all I need to mention that this was very much an AHS ending. I don't really know how to explain it but there's a feel that, if you've seen some of the previews seasons you'll know what I'm talking about, mostly the first few seasons (until season 4, maybe). That was actually something that a lot of people mention and that I felt too - that this season was a lot more like the first ones, which I loved, and it was even clearer in this finale. Apart from that, I don't know if I have so nice things to say. Don't get me wrong, I liked the ending, it just didn't have that much impact like I thought it would, plus it basically ended with the things that I hated the most about this season - the SCUM thing - so, it was pretty obvious that I wouldn't be that happy about the ending.

Also, I need to mention that, with this ending, I realised that the topic of this season (apart from the cult, obviously) wasn't really the politics, like they made us thing, it was more the girl power and the feminism, which was nice but, once again, not what I liked the most about the season.

The episode basically starts with a flashforward where we see Kai in prison. That's when they get back to present time (eleven months earlier) that we see what happened after last episode. We see Kai getting on with his plan and getting really worried about the feds spying on him and everything, and that's when Ally tells him that Speedwagon was the actual rat, instead of Winter, and that she basically killed him. After that, we see Ally getting out of the house and getting onto a FBI truck, with a SWAT team storming the Anderson basement and taking both Kai and Beverly (since all the other either got killed or killed themselves).

Months later, Beverly goes visit Ally at the Butchery and that's when the later tells Beverly that the FBI approached her while she was in the psychiatric hospital in order for her to become an informant.

While we see Ally getting on with her life, we also see Kai forming a new 'army' while in prison and later paying Ally a call threatening her, that's the moment Ally decides to run for Kai's old place in the Council, having Beverly as and advisor to her campaign.

Later, we see that Kai is able to escape from the maximum security prison with the help of a guard named Gloria and then infiltrate in a political debate between Ally and her opponent.

Kai makes himself known, basically says a load of sh*t about woman and stuff and points a gun to Ally's head. He pulls the trigger but nothing happens, and that's when we find out that Gloria is actually working with Ally after they spoken with eachother earlier and agreed to sabotage Kai. And then, Beverly basically shoots Kai in the end and that's literally the end of Kai which, in my opinion, was a little bit underwhelmed. I mean, it was deserved and it was fine as and ending to his character but still, I think it would be a lot more exciting and different if he stayed alive... I don't know, I'm just saying, I like different and unexpected endings.

Anyway, in the end, Ally becomes a senator, and in a night, we see her tuck Oz into bed, putting on an emerald SCUM cloak, and saying that she's going to meet some 'empowered women who want to change the system', basically Valerie Solanas all over again, which was the part that I didn't like.

Overall, the series was fine, Evan Peters was amazing and, once again, I wasn't a fan of Sarah Paulson's character. Still, I think she's an amazing actress and I don't want her to leave AHS. Oh, and just a side note, there was a mention of Lana Winters in this episode so, that was interesting.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 10 - "Charles (Manson) in Charge"

Hello everyone!

Here I am, like I said I would, with the second to last AHS rant this season. 

But, before I start, I just need to let you know that I won't be able to post the The Flash rant today so expect three rants tomorrow (Arrow, Supernatural and The Flash). Hope you don't mind and keep an eye on the blog, tomorrow, for those rants.

Now, onto the proper AHS rant.

I have to say that I was quite excited for this episode! Not only this is the second to last this season, which means some major stuff is (probably) going to happen but also because of the title. I'm quite a fan of serial killers and I like to know about all that creepy stuff and Charles Manson is one of the most known and he wasn't just a killer but also a cult leader and all that so I was really curious about this episode.

Unfortunatelly, it didn't exceed my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the episode wasn't bad, it was actually pretty good, but it wasn't as gruesome as I expected and it didn't have that much Charles Manson in it, so it was a tiny bit disappointing.

Of course this was the comeback of all the Valerie Solanas storyline and you know how much I disliked that episode so it was natural for me not to like this one that much.

Plus, this is kind of a good thing as well, but it was really uncomfortable to watch. Not because of blood but this episode was just so twisted and, in the end, it just left me like really mad at basically all the characters.

Anyway, getting into the actual storyline...

In this episode Kai starts suspecting that there's a mole in the cult and starts slipping into a state of manic paranoia, where he starts seeing Charles Manson, who basically is his 'idol' and starts giving him some 'tasks' and some help on what he should or shouldn't do.

At the same time, like I said, we see Bebe Babbitt come back and we actually see some flashbacks of her being Kai's anger terapist or something and that's when they actually met and she is the one to make him basically start this cult, but with the intention to unleash female rage. 

That's when she appears in the present time to tell him that he failled their 'mission' and that's when he tells her his real plan and that he wasn't planning on doing what she said.

She basically gets mad and points a gun at him, that's when Ally shows up and kills her, which was basically the only thing that I liked about Ally in this episode. I was really glad that Bebe was dead because I just couldn't stand her.

Then, comes the Winter storyline.

The cult basically kill Gary in  a way to shake things up and Beverly is 'forced' to report it in the news. After that, Winter comes to her, says sorry about blamming her for the killing of Samuels and tells Beverly that she should leave town. But, thinking this is just some act, Beverly says that she's loyal to Kai and we are lead to believe that they just dropped all this thing.

That's when we find out that not only Ally singles Winter out as the mole, but also that Beverly told Kai about the ticket Winter gave Beverly so she would leave town.

Needless to say that Kai gets really angry, even though we also see some sadness. Still, not enough to not kill Winter and in the end, she does really die.

That's one of the reasons why I got so angry and frustrated in this episode. Because I wasn't a big fan of Winter, and I actually kind of liked Kai, dispite everything, and I don't know, I just got really angry about her death. Somehow I don't think she deserved.

Anyway, in the end, we find out who the real mole is (which I actually thought there wasn't none) - Speedwagon - and we also see that Ally finds out as well, and that's how the episode ends.

I seriously don't know how this is going to end.

On my last rant I thought, in the end, in the next episode, Kai was going to kill Trump and take his place but, right now, it seems like Ally is the one that's really in charge so I think she is going to kill Kai.

I don't know, it seems like a really cliche ending and I don't think AHS really goes for that so, I seriously hope they come up with something different and with a plot twist, because I like to be surprised in the end (mostly in this type of shows).

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 9 - "Drink the Kool-Aid"

Hello everyone and here I am, as promised, with the new AHS rant.

So, were getting really close to the end and things are starting to get like really crazy!

I don't know if it was just me but this episode left me really uncomfortable. Not because it was bad or because it had a lot of blood because 1) you know I love blood and 2) it wasn't bad at all, it was actually really good! It's just the thought of people like this existing in this world... Because, if you think about it, this isn't 'true' but it's mostly based on true stuff so, people like Kai do exist in this world and that's so scary sh*t. Actually, we even had some examples in this episode of previous people like this! Which also shows how great Evan Peters is because he played 5 characters only in this episode and, although similiar, really different at the same time so, huge applause to Evan because he's an amazing actor and he should get more recognition because he's trully great!

Anyway, like I said, this episode had, as a base, a lot of old cult leaders, one of them being Jim Jones who invented the 'Drink the Kool-Aid' saying and which basically gave the name of the episode.

In the beginning of the episode we see Kai saying that he's going to run for Senate to which someone in the council says that basically Trump is still alive and Kai says that anything can happen so, I have some huge predictions for the next two episodes, but I'll get into it in the end of the rant.

Then, we get into the point of the episode which is the Kool-Aid. 

This happened fairly early in the episode so I realised what was happening pretty quickly. Basically Kai ordered for each cult member to drink Kool-Aid, which everyone believes is poisened. Well, I realised pretty soon (as he was setting up the cups) that this was just to test their loyalty and that it wasn't poisened and it was exactly what happened.

What I didn't realise was that this was basically a hint for what was going to happen next.

Basically we see the girls talk and thinking about running away when they find out that Kai went to Oz's school and picked him up. At his house, Kai told Oz that he was his father and then asked (or demanded) for Oz to stay the night, that's when things got messy.

Ally was really worried but Ivy agreed with Oz staying the night to which Ally doesn't understand.

Back at home, Ally is a lot more relax and even makes dinner for Ivy, saying that it's to celebrate their reunion. Well, as soon as I saw that Ally didn't drink the wine, nor at the pasta that she made, I said that she poisoned Ivy. But then they kept talking and nothing was happening to Ivy, and Ivy kept drinking the wine (that's when I spoted a racord issue, which is just funny because I now realise a lot more stuff like that, since I'm studying Audiovisual and Multimedia in College) and I kept doubting myself but, in the end, Ally did poison Ivy and she ended up dying. 

With the end of the season, it's more clear that a lot more people is going to keep dying so, yeah...

Keeping with her plan, and always with Oz's safety in mind, Ally tries to find who Oz's real father is and she finds out that it isn't really Kai (which was a little bit disappointing) but then she changes the evidences so that they say that Kai is, in fact, Oz's father.

She shows him the papers and that's when we see a different side of Kai. He even sheds a tear! And, like that, we know that Kai isn't going to kill Oz, his messiah. Or... We think so, because my theory says otherwise.

As you may know, next episode is called "Charles (Manson) in Charge" and I'm sure you know Charles Manson killed his family and, you remember what Kai said in the end of the episode, right? - "Now we can be a real family."- So, with this in mind, I predict that, just like Charles Manson, Kai is going to kill his family, and that includes Ally, Oz and maybe Winter (I'm not sure about her, though).

And, about the very last episode, it is called "Great Again" and you know who said that, right? - Donald Trump - so, for the final episode I predict that Kai is also going to kill Trump and run for Senate and probably win. 

It would be a real cool ending, in my opinion, but at the same time I hope they change some stuff because I kind of want to be surprised.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 8 - " Winter of Our Discontent"

WTF was this episode?!

Hello people so here I am with the AHS promised rant and what an hell of an episode!

For sure this was so much better than the previous one (it wasn't hard, to be honest, since I didn't really like that episode), but this was so messed up. When I already thought I was understand were this was going, Ryan Murphy shakes things up and basically changes everything.

Well, this episode was all centered on Winter (that's why the name of the episode) and, right in the beginning, we learn how Kai and Winter got so close. Of course they are brothers and all, but we've seen before that they weren't really 'friends' and, somehow, that changed - that's what we see in this episode. We see that they started messing around on the deep web and that got them in some kind of trouble, were Kai got into that state of mind where he is right now. We learn that they went to a some creepy house with a really creepy pastor (played by Rick Springfield who was also on Supernatural last season) that have been punishing people. They realized all the messed up things he was doing and both Kai and Winter saved the people that were there and Kai killed the Pastor in the end, and that's when he changed.

At this point, the girl are all mad at Kai but, after telling this story, both Ivy and Beverly agree that Winter should talk to Kai and try to work things out that way but, if she doesn't, Beverly will do something about it because she just can't take it anymore.

Winter goes to talk to Kai and that's when the really creepy stuff starts happening. Not creepy in a scary or bloody way, but just in a messed up way because Kai wants Winter to be impregnated with the 'messiah' by Samuels.

What's more f*cked up about all this is that she actually agreed! Luckily, things didn't really go as planned but, later, Samuels tries to rape Winter and she just gets like really mad and just kills him.

Meanwhile, we also see more of Dr. Vincent and we get an answer to the question that I've been asking in both my last AHS rants. So no, Vincent didn't know anything about what Kai as been doing, which is nice! Kai isn't really happy about the fact that Vincent haven't really reached out to him and that's when Vincent realises how messed up Kai is. Then, he goes to Ally and says that he wants to help her and everything but she basically just back stabs him (metaphorically) and tells Kai everything that Dr. Vincent has been planning.

In the very end of the episode we see Vincent and Beverly brought to Kai for punishment (which is basically a synonym to death). Vincent because of what Ally told Kai and Beverly because Winter ended up blamming Beverly for Samuels' death. And yeah, in the very end Kai kills Dr. Vincent, which was pretty sad because he was basically the only good character and sends Beverly off to be tortured.

The last thing that we see in this episode is the introduction to the new cult member: Ally (which wasn't really a surprise in my opinion).

Next episode seems even more messed up, involving Ozzy and all so, let's see what happens.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 7 - "Valerie Solanas Died for Your Sins: Scumbag"

Hello!

So, like promised, here I am to talk about the latest AHS episode.

Unfortunatelly, today's rant won't be that good. The truth is, I didn't like this episode. Seriously, I basically never say this because I always try to see the good things in each episode and, although this episode had some, the bad stuff had an heavier weight.

In this episode, right in the beginning, we see that Kai was successful with his plan and that he actually won the election, and that Ally is incarcerated for her supposed involvement, although this episode didn't say much more about Ally, which I was hoping it would.

After that, we enter the main topic of this episode - Man vs Woman.

We get to see a lot of flashbacks from Valerie Solanas (portrayed by Lena Dunham) and her activism against Men and ultimately she killing Andy Warhol.

And, I have so much to say about this!

First of all, people were already pissed at the fact that Lena Dunham was in the show and then Ryan Murphy gives her this role?! I mean... I don't know about you, but her character pissed me off like a lot! Plus, this whole thing about Man vs Woman was just out of control.

We learn that she was the first female cult leader and all that and we have learned by now that this is how a cult opperates but... There was just something about her character that I didn't like. Also, he way they approached this subject I just think was really wrong, mostrly for nowadays. 

Nowadays there's so much going on about feminism and this wasn't feminism. Feminism is equal rights for man and woman and Valerie was just against man and just wanted to kill them all.

I know we have to take in consideration the context, because at that time man really treated woman shitty so I kind of get it, but at the same time I don't.

And then, they mixed everything up with the Zodiac Killer. In fact, I don't know if there's any correlation between this two events but I'm really interested in serial killers and all that and I've seen some videos about the Zodiac Killer and I've never heard of Valerie Solanas or the SCUM 'cult' so, I don't know. I like that subject, but I think they mixed a lot of things in just one episode.

In the end, everyone leaves Valerie and she ends up dying alone.

But, because, like I said in the beginning, not everything was bad, I had to mention Evan Peters acting because he was really great in this episode. I mean, he's always great, but he portrayed two really different characters in just one episode so, congrats to him! Seriously, he's so unapreciated, he deserves a lot more credit because he's an amazing actor.

Anyway, they then tie everything up to the present day, where Beverly meets Bebe (Solanas' old lover) and Beverly then introduces her to the other girls of the cult (Ivy and Winter) and then they start thinking about a 'plan' 'against' mean, but mostly Kai.

Kai then knows about Winter's interest on Solanas' 'life' and tells her about Harrison makind sexist comments and the girls put their plan in practice right away.

They end up killing Harrison and, in the very end, we learn that Kai had hired Bebe in order to test the women's loyalty.

That was really a shocking moment for me and I'm really curious on how everything is going to tie up in the future.

Well, I guess that's pretty much it.

Unfortunatelly, this wasn't the best AHS rant, and I'm sorry about that but, like I said in previous posts, I'm here to be real and be honest with my opinions so, this were my thoughts on this episode and I hope you guys understand.
