American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 6 - "Mid-Western Assassin"

Spoiler Alert!

And here I am with the final rant of the day.
I know I'm super late with this rant (just like I am with all the others) and that there's going to be a new episode tomorrow (which I probably won't be able to cover tomorrow so expect the rant later this week) but yeah, here it is!
Overall, I don't think this episode was major but I think it gave us a lot more information that we needed and plus it had a big plot twist in the end, which I kind of didn't see coming.
We start the episode with a flashforward for a shooting which, at first, we believe it came from Ally. (Also, just a side note, it was said that this shooting was going to be a lot more graphic but because of everything that have been happening they toned it down which, in my opinion, is a downside since I like everything gory and stuff but yeah, just a little curiosity).
After the credits, when then see how everything happened, starting with finding out that Meadow is still alive and that Ally went back and rescued her. Meadow then tells Ally that she fell in love with Kai and that she then decided to leave the cult because her love wasn't reciprocated.
Ally then decides to use Meadow as a 'witness' and use her testimony to expose Kai, going for one of his opposing candidates, Sally Keffler, for help.
In the middle of their conversation, the cult breaks in and Kai kills Sally making it look like a suicide.
While this was happening, Meadow was with Dr. Vincent who then lets Meadow leave and, when Ally comes back, she gets really upset because she basically lost all her leverage.
The next day we see the political rally that we saw in the very beginning of the episode and we see that the actual shooter is in fact Meadow, who tries to kill Kai and other people. Ally attempts to wrestle the gun out of Meadow's hands but Meadow ends up shooting herself in the mouth.
Ally then is arrested when a SWAT team arrives at the scene and finds her with the gun in her hands.
After that, we see some flashbacks of what really happened when Meadow tried to leave the cult.
Turns out Kai planned all this thing, from Ally finding Meadow, Meadow telling her everything about the cult and even the shooting, making Ally the witness of everything but at the same time the guilty one of everything, as well as him being shot so he would be 'famous' in a national level.
The episode basically ended like that but I need to mention something that we saw in the beginning of the episode, which was basically how Ivy got introduced to the cult and why she 'hated' Ally. Turns out she hates her because Ally was the one to give birth to Ozzy and Ivy wanted to be the one but she just couldn't because of some medical issue and yeah, everything started there.
It was a nice touch because we have been wondering about that.
And yeah, not that's basically it.
I just have one question... Does Dr. Vincent know about the cult? I mean, we assume he does just because he's Kai's brother but it doesn't necessarily means he does so, I just wonder about that.
Anyway, let me know what you think and I'll see you (hopefully) tomorrow with new rant(s).
Love,
Daniela.

Arrow | Season 6 Episode 1 - "Fallout"

Spoiler Alert!

Wow! What was that episode?!
Arrow is starting right away with an amazing season premiere and I can say, right of the batch, that this season of Arrow is going to be better then The Flash (once again).
I take what I said about first episodes not being that good because this one was everything that I wanted! There was just one slight thing that I didn't enjoy but everything else was on point and I'm seriously so happy with this episode!
Right in the beginning of the episode we see some flashbacks from what happened after the explosion and first it was really nice to see the flashbacks still there and second we find out right away some of the characters that are still alive, starting with Diggle, Rene and Curtis! We already knew that Rene was going to be alive but it was nice to be sure that both Diggle and Curtis are also alive.
We also see, in the flashbacks, that Slade goes to the ship alone, while the others go to take refuge in the plane, apart from Samantha who goes after William and Thea who goes after Samantha, which basically proves my theory, right away, that Thea and Samantha are going to be the ones who die in the island. We also see that Diggle gets injured while saving Felicity.
Later in the episode, also in flashbacks, we see that Dinah and Quentin find Black Siren who tries to kill Dinah making Quentin shoot her (Black Siren), leaving her there to die. Black Siren ends up not dying (like we already knew) and is saved by an unknown man (which I assume is going to be this season's villain).
In the present, we see that Thea is not really dead but in a coma, which was the only thing that I didn't really like about the episode. As sad is it makes me feel that Thea would be dead, I just think they should've had like an actual major death, and that Thea should be that person. She isn't like major major but she's Oliver's sister so she is important enough. As bad as this sounds, I hope she dies because it would make the last season finale way more shocking and like 'important'.
Anyway, we also see that William blames Oliver for his mum's death and that left me really sad. I just want to see a father/son relationship between them so I hope they can work things out in the next episodes.
And, since we're in the topic of family, it is pretty clear that this season's theme is going to be family, mostly father/son/daughter. Not only because of Oliver and William, but also because Rene and his daughter, which they brought up and I really liked it and also because of Quentin and Black Siren/Laurel, which I believe is also going to be something major this season.
Well, the rest of the episode is the 'usual' bad guy they have to fight. The only thing here is that the bad guy is Black Siren and that, in the end, she ends up stealing one of Curtis T-Sferes which I predit it is for that guy who saved her.
Also, to be totally fair with you, I still have hopes that Josh Segarra gets back to the show as an Adrian twin or something because I just think he was perfect on Arrow and I just miss him. Seriously, it was so good to see him in the 'previously'. I really hope they do something with him. Maybe even be the Vigilante, which we don't know who it is still so, let's hope.
To finish the rant I need to talk about that cliffhanger in the end of the episode which was like huge! Seriously, leaking photos of Oliver had the Green Arrow?! Wow, that was a major plot twist! I wasn't expecting that at all and I'm really curious to see how they are going to deal with it because personally, I have no idea.
Ok, that's it guys. Overall, I think this was an amazing season premiere and I seriously can't wait for the next episode!
Let me know all your thoughts and predictions and I'll see you soon with a new AHS rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Flash | Season 4 Episode 1 - "The Flash Reborn"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello and welcome back to the tv shows season!
Basically all the shows are back and, unfortunately, it all happened while I had a busy personal week, so that's why there wasn't basically any rants last week and there should've been tons!
I'm going to try and update everything before the new episodes air but I'm not going to make any promises because tomorrow I will have another busy day so I might not be able to post AHS and The Challenge on time. Still, I'm going to post the AHS rant that I'm behind today so, be on the look for that.
Anyway, enough rambling and lets strat with the rant!
I'm starting this 'rants update' with The Flash!
Just like I said, last week was the premiere of basically all shows, including The Flash. I should say that, out of all, The Flash wasn't the one I was really looking forward to. I still love The Flash to death but after that last season, Arrow won my heart (once again) so I'm so much more excited about Arrow (which it's rant is coming up next). Still, I need to say that this first episode was actually good. It wasn't like amazing, because I think a first episode is never amazing, but it was good and it had some stuff that I wasn't really expecting so, that was a plus.
So, the episode started with some stuff that we already knew - like Iris have been running Team Flash, and the appearance of the new villain, a 'Samurai' of some sort. We later in the episode find out that the Samurai isn't really the villain (which we already knew). We already knew that this season's villain is someone called 'The Thinker' but I always thought that it had the appearance of the Samurai, guess I was wrong. What caught me really by surprise was the fact that we see the face of this villain right in the end of this first episode, which is something new. To be honest, I quite liked it.
Everyone have been tired of all the suspense through this past three seasons about who's the villain and all so it was a really nice touch to have it revealed right in the first episode so, congrats on that The Flash, that was really cool!
Something not so cool, and that I really don't like is that fact that Tom Felton isn't part of the cast anymore.
Once again, we already knew this, but having them say it in the episode, that Julian went back to London just broke my heart. I was really enjoying his character and I loved him with Caitlin so it was a really downside for me.
Talking about Caitlin... Well, we already knew this but yeah, Cisco finds a way to bring Barry back and asks Caitlin for help, and she basically re-joins Team Flash.
They are able to bring Barry back (obviously, duh) but Barry is really messed saying random stuff and writting some weird symbols.
This also took me by surprise, mostly because of Grant's acting! It was really quite something! He was great, really! Plus, I need to say that he looks even hotter this season. I don't know if it's the fact that his engaged but I don't know, whatever he's doing, makes him look great.
Anyway, and then that's when they work on both, trying to make Barry get back to normal and fight the Samurai and, in order to basically do both, Iris gives herself up to the Samurai and yeah, basically Barry saves her and gets back to normal.
I'm really curious on how this is going to play out because I'm sure Barry is going to find some issues with everything that happened in the Speed Force. It can't just be that and now he's back to normal, I'm sure it doesn't work like that and he's going to go through some problems so, I'm looking forward to that.
Something else that I'm really looking forward to is the Caitlin storyline. Out of all, her storyline looks the best so, I can't wait to find out more about that Amunet guy and everything that she's going through with fighting the Killer Frost side of her.
And yeah, that's basically it.
Like I said, this first episode wasn't amazing, but it was good and I think it sets the tone for the rest of the season.
Let me know all your thoughts and I'll see you later with a new rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 13 - "Feel The Burn"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I'm a little late with this update but I'm afraid it's going to be like that throughout this week.
I'm going to be really busy this week so updates will be less and not really on time. Though, I really needed to watch this episode and talk to you about it because the last one just ended on a huge cliffhanger.
In this episode we find out, right in the beginning the events after that huge cliffhanger - who was going straight to the redemption house.
You know my bets were on Bananas and Cara Maria and I was half right. Yes, Cara Maria ended up being the chosen one to go to the redemption house but, luckily, Bananas was not chosen and CT was the one going straight to the redemption house instead, which basically messed up all my next predictions.
After that, we see the winning group meet again to talk about who they were going to send in to elimination. Right away Kailah says that she's not going to send in Camila because Jenna is in the double cross and if Camila is the one in the elimination, there's a huge chance that Camila beats Jenna (if she gets sent in) so, right away, Camila is off. Obviously Jenna is off too and then Veronica doesn't want to send in Jemmye either so... They're in an impasse. And basically the same about the guys because Kailah and Jordan want to send in Hunter, Britini says there's no way she's going to send Hunter, as well as Tony, and Veronica doesn't want to send in Derrick and, needless to say none of them want to send in Leroy so, no agreement.
The next day, TJ comes and it's time to make a decision.
Starting with the girls, Veronica basically gives up and says Jemmye and basically all of them (apart from Britini) say Jemmye also so, she's the one going to elimination and now it's when my other prediction is half right, again.
I said that they were going to tie because of the guys, which is what happened but not between CT and Hunter... Instead, it was between Leroy and Hunter! That was seriously an huge plot twist because no one thought Leroy was going to be mention. It first start with Britini, which was the second one to vote and said it was a burn vote but it turned out not being because then Veronica voted for Leroy as well, and that's when the tie happened (because Tony voted for Derrick).
Then, TJ told them about what was going to happen if they didn't make a decision and, after that, Tony decided to change his vote to Leroy (because he didn't want to vote for Hunter) and, in the end, Veronica stuck to her vote, and sais Leroy, resulting in him going to elimination, which was an huge plot twist.
When it came to the double cross, it was Hunter, Derrick and Bananas and I was just praying for Hunter to not get the double cross, and luckily, it didn't. Derrick got it and he sent in Hunter, which was kind of obvious and, once again, Bananas got lucky and my boo is still in the game!
I didn't get that lucky with the girls thought. I mean, it was Tori, Camila and Jenna, and Jenna got the double cross, which was kind of good but this time Jenna decided to make a bold move and sent in Camila.
As you can imagine, Camila got very salty and you can be sure there's no friendship there anymore.
Anyway, with the actual challenge, the guys round was really nervewrecking and a good match but, unfortunatelly, Hunter won and Leroy went to the Redemption House.
For the girls, as I imagined, Camila won, which was happy about. Althought she hasn't been her best in this season, I can't not support her and I still think she's going to win this season so... Besides, she's a Braziliana and she was so pissed so, it was clear that she was going to win.
And, from now on, you can be sure that she's going to be really badass because she's pissed at everybody and Cara Maria isn't there so...
To finish, this time I don't have many predictions for next episode. This episode didn't have an huge cliffhanger and the preview didn't give us much. I think the next challenge is going to be a cool one, we got a little clip with Bananas so I'm curious and there's going to be a fight between Tori and Camila so, let's see what happens.
Let me know your thoughts on this episode, were you surprised that Leroy was sent in? What did you think about Camila's reaction? Let me know everything and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 5 - "Holes"

Spoiler Alert!

Today, both my series had freaking amazing episodes! Seriously, this episode left me shook.
Hello guys! Here we are with a brand new AHS rant!
Just like in the previous episode, I felt so much more informed. Truth is, both this episode gave us a lot. Last week's episode told us everything of what hapenned before the election and how Kai got his 'crew' and this episode explained a lot about Kai (in the very end) and more about his cult, starting the episode right away with a plot twist!
The episode starts with Beverly and Bob having a conversation and the later not wanting to give more attention to this murders therefore, not giving publicity to Kai for his run to the city council. Because of that, Kai sets up a meeting and that's when we see all his cult members, including Ivy! The episode then moves to the opening credits leaving us speechless with this big reveal!
We all knew there was something shady about Ivy. Some people thought she was actually related to Kai and, well, in a way, she is. It doesn't look like she's his sister anymore, but still, she's part of the cult that was huge!
Anyway, in that meeting, like I said, we see everyone - Kai, Beverly, Winter, Harrison, Detective Samuels (just like we thought), Ivy and Beverly's cameraman, RJ (who I didn't really remember, to be honest).
In this meeting they come up with the plan that the best thing to do is to just kill Bob, and that's what they do. They break into Bob's house and film the murder, in order to Beverly show it on televison.
After that, Beverly and Kai have a conversation and she advises him to cut ties with RJ, saying that he's the week link. After that, Kai gathers another meeting and that's when they kill RJ, with a nail gun. Starting with Ivy, each of them 'shoots' him, in turns, and then Kai finishes him off.
Meanwhile, we find out that Meadow is still alive and that Harrison and Detective Samuels were planning on bury her alive. That's when Ally finds her but afraid she runs of to her house. She tries to talk to Ivy and, while she's with her on the phone, Meadow gets to escape and tries to get help from Ally. That's when Meadow basically tells Ally everything about the cult and the fact that Ivy is part of it, but right at that moment, Harrison and Detective Samuels arrive and take Meadow.
To be honest, I have no idea why they wanted to kill her. It looked like she was part of the cult. My guess is that she thought what they were doing was too much and she just wanted to get out of it but, because she knew who they were, they had to kill her, just like they did with RJ.
After that comes the biggest reveal of all - Kai's past.
Just like with Ivy, some people also had some predictions about who was behind that door with a rose and in this episode we find out everything.
Kai is talking to Beverly in order for her to tell him her fears but she switches things up and starts asking him stuff about his past, that's when he reveals that his mom shot his dad and ther herself in a murder-suicide. After that, he calls his brother - Dr. Rudy Vincent (another big reveal) - and he tells Kai to conceal their bodies in their bedroom (the door with the rose) in order to not lose the money from their mom's pension and their dad's disability checks.
The episode then ends with Kai being really vulnerable, crying and Beverly just there but, in my opinion, with a crazy look which, from what I've seen talk about, and that I agree, it looks like she wants to take control of the cult and replace Kai so, let's see what happened!
Althought not major, this episode had a lot of plot twists and major information regarding Kai and other characters, so I look forward to finding out more about everything that have been happening.
The only thing that I stil don't get is Ally. She's the main character but I don't see what they want with her. I still stand by my thought that they want to 'recruit' her but I seriously don't know.
Let me know what you think and I'll see you in my next rant!
Love,
Daniela.

The Challenge: Dirty 30 | XXX Episode 12 - "Boxed In"

Spoiler Alert!

Wow, so this was an hell of an episode!
Hello guys and welcome back to a brand new The Challenge rant!
I gotta say, I was pretty excited for this episode but I would never thought what happned would happen. Not much drama happened in it, which I quite like, so the twists were all about the actual game and I'm seriously so stoked about it. I have a lot of predictions so read until the end to find out.
So, we start the episode with finding out who the winners of last challenge were going to pick for the elimination and I've already seen a preview on MTV's youtube channel that CT and Camila were going to pick Dario and Hunter, of course, was going to pick Jordan, but we didn't know who Kailah was going to pick but, to be honest, it was quite obvious - she ended up picking Dario.
As for the girls, both Camila and Kailah chose Veronica, Hunter voted on Jemmye as a 'burn vote' but CT also voted in Veronica so, Dario and Veronica for elimination and everyone else for the draw (apart from the winners, of course).
It was quite overwhelming, to be honest, to see like the whole cast on the draw, but it was even more overwhelming for the guys, since all of them are players that I quite like and since all of them are in an alliance so, I was really afraid who was going to vote and in who he was going to vote. But, pretty soon it was obvious that, whoever got the double cross, was going to vote for Tony and so it was. Actually, Jordan got pretty lucky (or not, depends on where you stand) and got the double cross again and yeah, he voted Tony in, against Dario. For the girls, Tori got the double cross and, of course, she sent in Aneesa, against Veronica, which I was happy about.
The challenge was pretty simple and as soon as we find out what it really is I knew that Tony was going to win, which he did, and I was really happy about that and then I thought Veronica had better chances against Aneesa, but I wasn't sure of anything. Still, I was right and she did win against Aneesa, which I was also happy about because, although I don't really like Veronica, I don't like Aneesa at all so I was really happy about that. The only downfall though was the fact that yes, they're going to the redemption house, which means they might still come back.
After that, I was really afraid they were going to put a lot of drama in the episode just to get to the 45 minutes but, luckily, we got to see another challenge and I was super stoked about it! And then, comes the biggest twist - the winner team of this challenge not only was going to pick a guy and a girl to send to the elimination but also choose a guy and a girl straight to the redemption house! Like, what?! That was a major plot twist, mainly because the 'underdogs' are getting 'mad' and are thinking about sending home the big dogs so, obviously I was worried about Bananas.
Anyway, about the challenge.
It wasn't that hard... It involved a puzzel but the first part of the challenge, althought it wasn't that bad, I wouldn't be able to do it. They basically had to stratch a wall to find out some numbers and stratching (mainly walls) are one of my biggest pet peeves. I mean, I don't even know if I can call it a pet peeve, I just know I can't stand it, it makes me so uncomfortable and I just can't.
So, as I said, it was a team challenge and the Teams were basically this: Blue Team - Jenna, Hunter, Bananas, Cara Maria and Jemmye; Green Team - Jordan, Tony, Kailah, Veronica and Britini; Pink Team - Leeroy, CT, Tori, Camila and Derrick.
Well, as you can probably tell, I was rooting for the Blue Team, althought I thought the Pink Team was really strong too but, was you can imagine, the Green Team won - the 'underdogs' won, which is not good.
Neither I have to say that we don't find out who they are going to send to the Redemption House, and here's when my preditions come in place!
As for the guys, I'm almost 100% sure they are going to send Bananas to the Redemption House. 1. Because Jordan said he wanted to take out the big dogs now and 2. because Tony felt betrayed by his 'alliance' and, since he can't really send Jordan to the Redemption House, I think he's going to agree in sending Bananas there.
For the girls, I'm torn between Camila and Cara Maria, but I would bet on Cara Maria because on the little reunion that we saw, they were talking about who was most likely to loose the elimination so they are going to choose to send to the Redemption House the girl that is more likely to win the elimination and get back to the house, which is Cara Maria, and like that get rid of her more easily.
Then, we see in the preview that they basically don't agree on who to send into elimination, and the result of that is the winners go in for draw. So now, my confusion is on who they are going to be torn about. I doubt it is the girls, they are all probably going to send in Camila. So it is almost 100% sure on the guys and, with that in mind, I think both Jordan and Kailah are going to send it Hunter, Veronica and Britini are going to send in CT and most likely Tony is the one that doesn't pick any of those. Still, I'm pretty confused about that because I just don't see why they won't agree on this, neither of them seem to have problems in sending in anyone so, I don't know.
Let me know what you think is going to happen. Do you agree with my predictions? I would love to know all your thoughts.
Ok, that's it guys.
I'll see you later with a new AHS rant!
Love,
Daniela.

American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Episode 4 - "11/9"

Spoiler Alert!

Oh My God, this episode!
I swear, this episode was the best one so far and truly everything that I felt was needed in this season!
I don't know if it was because I've been watching some theory videos or if the episode really was 'informational', but I think this episode gave us a lot of answers. I don't feel confused anymore and I actually have quite a few theories so, read everything until the very end.
So, basically this episode covered up the days before the election, so this was basically and episode zero, if you will.
We start of with seeing everyone in line to go vote and we see Kai entering with a guy dripping blood. Then, we get far back and see a few days before.
This made a lot more sense to me because I recently saw a video with a teory on who the clowns are so I straight up understood where this was going.
We basically see how Kai met both Harrison and Meadow and how he got them to be part of his Cult. From this, we learn that they were the two first 'recruits'. After that, we see Kai finding out about Beverly Hope, the reporter and he finds out that people have been mocking her and she kind of went crazy and that's how he took some interest in her. And, in order to make her 'believe in him', him, Harrison and Meadow kill the other reporter, played by Emma Roberts (I'm sorry but I just can't remember her name). In that 'event' we see three clowns - Harrison, Meadow and Kai.
This actually makes Beverly 'join' Kai so we find out that she's probably another clown.
Moving on, the episode then focus more on Winter.
We find out that Winter and Ivy have actually met before Winter applied to be Oz's babysitter, and that was a huge surprise for me, actually. They meet in the rally and a guy, from Trump's group, actually assaults Ivy and Winter defends her and that's how the two 'meet'.
They later go after that same guy, who's actually the owner of the store that we saw in the first episode, and tie him up so he won't be able to go vote for Trump in the next day. The only issue is that Kai finds out about him and that's when happens what he see right in the beginning of this episode. And the episode basically ends like that.
This left me with a lot of knowlodge, but also with a lot of questions, which is actually amazing to develop some theories so, let's dive into that.
In the videos that I've been watching, people say that the clowns are Harrison, Meadow, the doctor, Colton Hayne's character and Emma Robert's character. Well, we already know that Emma Robert's isn't a clown (cause she's dead) but, instead, we know that Beverly is, as well as Harrison and Meadow. In terms of the other two, I have some issues. I believe Colton Hayne's character is, in fact, one of the clowns, but I have some doubts about the doctor. We see that Kai was the three/four faces clown, but he may not be in 'the future'. Still, I don't think the doctor is one of the clowns so... I don't know, I'm a little bit confused about that.
Also, I don't know if the store guy is also a clown, but he's for sure on Kai's side and we now know that everything Ally saw in that store, in the first episode, wasn't an allucination - that guy was probably covering up for Kai so, yeah...
Then, about Ivy...
The video that I saw had a theory that Ivy is, in fact, Kai and Winter's older sister, which was such a plot twist for me. However, this episode made me doubt that theory.
When Winter and Ivy were talking in the restaurant, they didn't really say that they knew each other, but they didn't really say the opposite either, so I don't know what to think about. My only thought/theory about Ivy being their sister is probably that she left them like ages ago but, somehow, Winter found her (since she's pretty good with computers and going into the dark web and all that) and was trying to 'connect' with her.
And finally, comes the question in why are they after Ally?! Well, in my opinion, Kai wants her to join him. I don't know why, but somehow he might have seen in her something that he 'likes' and he's trying to get her to join his cult, that's the only thing that makes sense to me, mostly because of the events in the past episode, in which he kind of helped her.
I don't know, this are just some of my thoughts.
Let me know what you think about this crazy theories and let me know yours, I would love to hear/read them.
Love,
Daniela.
