The Challenge: Ride or Dies | Season 38 Episode 14 - "Terrorist of Love"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!

Back with a brand new episode of The Challenge and we have a lot to discuss!

From last week's preview we knew something big was going to happen and well... Something big did happen, it just wasn't what we thought it was going to be.

Unlike most episodes, this one didn't spend any time on 'drama' and their parties and whatnot. We did see a little bit of it in the beginning but really just a tiny bit and they moved on pretty quickly to the weekly challenge, which was right away indication that there was a lot more to come!

When it comes to the weekly challenge, we already knew from the preview that it was going to involve heights and that Chauncey was really scared. Well, turns out, here really didn't do it, therefore, because this was a pairs challenge, Aneesa didn't do it either, because she was paired with him.

Something else that happened that was a little bit unfair was the fact that this challenge wasn't a timed event. Unlike the previews challenges, in this one, the Team with the fastest pair to do the challenge would win, so right away, Team Moriah/Jordan was in disadvantage because they had less people so they had less chances to try and do it faster. And ultimately, Team Fessy won... Unfortunately. Leaving Team Jordan to go into elimination once again. And the worst thing about this one was that they were already down a guy so loosing another one would mean that this Team would become a Four Players Team.

The Deliberation was also pretty quickly, as was the Interrogation and they moved on right away to the Elimination. Regardless of the outcome, this would turn out to be an epic elimination, and when they saw what the elimination was... Yes, we were in for something big.

Honestly, the votes were torn between Jordan and Horacion - Tori being the deciding vote, adding more drama to the whole Jordan/Tori thing. In the end, Tori voted for Horacio and so Horacio was the direct vote. Then, Devin got so lucky once again and he took out the SAFE dagger. So Horacio vs Jordan it was. And because the elimination was a classic - Balls In - we were definitely in for a treat! But we surely weren't ready for what that elimination turned out to be!

I don't know if it was because they were friends or if it was because of the whole thing with Tori but I felt like Jordan didn't give his all. Not that I minded that, honestly. And I'm not trying to deminish Horacio because he was amazing and yes, he defeated Jordan and that was so impressive! Who would have thought that a rookie would send Jordan home, huh?! Well, he wasn't really sent home, to be honest, and that's when the next surprising part of the episode comes in.

We thought there would be a double elimination or something which, technically, there was, but before that, TJ went to the house and told everyone to get ready and go to The Zone. There, he ended the whole Teams thing and told everyone to get back to their original Ride or Dies, leaving Aneesa, Fessy and Kaycee without partners. TJ makes it look like, because they don't have a partner anymore, that they're going home, but we know the eliminated Ride or Dies have just been waiting to get back into the house and that's when TJ reveals that to everyone. Basically Jordan was out of there for just a day or two, but that's fine. However, not all of them are staying in the game, and that's when the triple elimination comes into play.

First, all fo them play and the first one to win this round stays in the game. Unfortunately, the only team that I wanted to go home won - Fessy and Moriah. I don't mind Moriah, honestly, but I just can't stand Fessy and I just want him to go home. I guess not yet. And unfortunately as well, the episode ends here, without knowing who else stays in the game, Aneesa and Jordan or Kaycee and Kenny. And as much as I dislike Jordan and I sort of wanted Kenny, the underdog, to stay in the game, I am indeed rooting for Jordan and Aneesa - mainly for Aneesa. I seriously hope they can make it! Aneesa deserves to, at least, go to that final!

But I guess that's pretty much it from me for this episode. This was a good one! Non stop 'action' and something so unpredictable happening - Horacio sending Jordan home (not for long though). And no matter what the outcome of this second elimination is, the daily challenge of the next episode looks like something fun and I'm just excited to see them back with their original pairs.

Well, that's it from me. Let me know what you thought of this episode and who do you want to stay in the game? Aneesa and Jordan? Or Kaycee and Kenny? Tell me everything in the comments and I'll talk to you in my next rant!

Love,
Daniela.
