The Challenge: Final Reckoning | Season 32 Episode 6 - "A Series of Unfortunate Events"

Back with a new The Challenge rant.

I have to say, I quite enjoyed this episode! For once, it barely had any drama and we almost got a 'full' episode (with challenge, nominations and elimination). The only part missing was just the elimination and, from the preview for the next episode, it seems like it won't be a big of a deal since we basically already know who's going home. Also, the preview only focused on the actual challenge of the next episode (so we know there's going to be one) and the elimination, which will involve the mercenaries, so we also know that it's going to be a fullish episode (they're probably going to cut the last bits of the elimination but that's fine by me).

Anyway, we've talked enough about the next episode so, let's get into this episode.

Like I said, this one didn't focus much on drama. We got a glimpse of the 'remains' from the Brad/Britini drama, with Brad talking to Britini and learning the truth and then, the only drama throughout the episode was the Cara Maria/Kyle/Faith drama.

We see a bunch of couples going to bed together and you know... and then it just left Cara sad and everything because one of those 'couples' were Kyle and Faith.

Then, we moved on to the weekly challenge and, right in the beginning, Brad and Kyle threw a power move at Cara and Marie and got rid of one of the ropes that was 'needed' for balance in the challenge, which was what f*cked up their game because they were actually playing really well.

The challenge itself was like a mix - there was the first part that I thought was kind of easy, and then the second part was like really difficult so props to everyone who finished it (which was only three teams, one of them being Bananas and Tony, of course) because that seemed pretty difficult.

Unfortunately, Bananas and Tony didn't win, again. Instead, Zach and Amanda won which leaves me with mixed feelings because I like Zach but I hate Amanda.

After that, it was time for nominations and that was actually pretty funny because a lot of people went with a 'burn' vote but the thing is, if all those people voted for the same team, it's not going to be a burn vote so... And then, on top of that, we saw in the preview for next episode that most of the teams were still in the game so it can either be Jozea and Da'Vonne or Brad and Kyle because they're the ones that I can't remember to see on the preview.

I'm curious, though... 

The episode then finished with a little drama between Da'Vonne and Shane which was just hillarious.

Anyway, this are my thoughts on this episode.

It seems like we are back on track with the 'normal' episodes, which makes me happy so, I'm not going to complain. Just keep up with this format and I'll be happy.

The Challenge: Final Reckoning | Season 32 Episode 5 - "Breaking Brad"

Hello everyone!

Here I am, one more week, to talk to you about The Challenge.

I should say that I kind of had high expectations for this episode but, in the end, it turned out to me a little 'meh'. The premise that there was going to be a Purge in this episode looked really nice to me but the main focus of the episode was drama (once again) and I'm just tired of it.

Basically everyone had drama in this episode. Not huge things though, but there was some issues between CT and Veronica, the usual between Marie and Cara, things with Kayleigh and Nelson... Like, a lot of issues but not anything major, which I would say, is worse because this way you don't even have anything to be shocked with or anything.

Then, the actual challenge was a little 'meh' as well. The outcome wasn't even that surprising. I mean, I was expecting CT and Veronica to go to the Redemption House, at least, not this early, but I wasn't exactly surprised either because it was pretty clear that Veronica hasn't been doing anything to improve in challenges and in the episode, CT got really pissed at her attitude and ultimately at the fact that they lost and went straight up to the Redemption House. I have faith that they are going to get out of there and get back to the main game though, but if it is something like the last time, it might not even be up to them so... I don't know.

I did like the fact that Tony and Bananas were one of the only two teams who finished the challenge. Unfortunately, Brad and Kyle won (once again). It seems like Bananas and Tony are always getting second place and, although that is also nice, I would like to see them win and be the top team to beat. I still believe they are going to be the ones to win this season so...

I think Kyle has too many issues with a lot of people and that won't be good to his game. But then, Bananas and Tony had to really work things out. We saw a glimpse of that in this episode and I believe things are going to work out well for them so, let's see.

Anyway, this are my thoughts on this episode.

Hopefully next episode will be a 'normal' one with Challenge, Nominations and Elimination.

The Challenge: Final Reckoning | Season 32 Episode 4 - "The Affair"

So here I am, as I promised, with the lasted The Challenge rant.

Just as I suspected, this episode was all about the Redemption House. I'm not even going to ramble about it. I'm going straight to the point.

Of course we had that drama thing that seems like it is the main topic on the show this days but, what really matters is what came out of the Redemption House. Overall, it was quite exciting but there was some things that I disagreed on, such has the way they handled the amount of people that there was in the Redemption House. 

As we suspected, the getting back to the game from the Redemption House involved the double crosses, just like in Dirty 30, but this time, the team to get the double cross would be, not only one of the teams to compete and get a chance to get back in the game, but also the team to choose who they wanted to go against - the remaining teams where going straight home, no chance to fight.

I really didn't like that because they basically just stayed there, in that house, doing nothing to then really go home. At least, they should've had a chance to prove themselves... 

Anyway, also like I said, Natalie and Paulie really did go to the Redemption House so they also competed in that elimination - actually, they were the ones to get the double cross (lucky bastards) and they got the power to choose who to go against - Jozea/Devonne, Jenna/Jemmye or Britini/Chuck. But, another plot twist, they would only let them know in the actual elimination.

Also, everyone else from the main house were called to go to the actual elimination, to see them fight for a way to get back - resulting in them finding out about the Redemption House.

I actually thought they were going to save that for later but maybe they already have more twists so...

Well, the really surprising part of the episode was Natalie and Paulie choosing Devonne and Jozea to go against, because Paulie decided to send straight home Zach and Brad's girlfriends (Jenna and Britini) in a way to get to them. That was really low. And, in the end, it was for nothing really because Paulie and Natalie lost again - which meant they went back to the Redemption House, this time, alone.

But before they went, Paulie had to cause some drama - not only he almost got into a fight with Zach, Brad and Kyle, but also spilled out some lies about Britini sleeping with Chuck in the Redemption House.

It was a big mess and I just want to see what's going to get out of that.

So, next episode we are finally going to have a proper challenge and it seems like they are realizing they still have too many players because it's going to be a Purge so, it's going to be cool.

The Challenge: Final Reckoning | Season 32 Episode 3 - "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend"

Hello everyone!

I'm back from my holidays!

Just as I told you, just today I was able to watch last week's episode so today there's going to be two new rants, hope you don't mind.

So, let's just jump right into it because this episode was kind of crazy.

First thing I'd like to point out that this episode was only about the elimination and, even though I do get it, they were trying to make a lot of suspense about everything, it just annoys me that we're on episode 3 and basically everyone is still in the house. As I've said many times before, I love the usual 'set up' of the episodes, with some drama but also with a challenge, nominations and elimination.

Anyway, pass that, I gotta say that this was pretty intense. Yes, all the drama was a bit too much, in my opinion, mainly the whole thing between Cara Maria, Kyle and Paulie like, that's some teenager sh*t right there and it's starting to get annoying.

Then, there's also the Chuck and Britini drama in the Redemption House which was small in this episode so it was fine by me.

The main thing in the episode was all the twists and turns, starting with the nominations.

In this season, every team gets to vote but the votes are secret (kind of). They go into a room, just like in the previous season with the 'deliberation' but this time to nominate a team. Then, they only find out who's going into elimination in the elimination day so everyone had to pack their bags and suit up. 

The twists don't end here though. In the elimination day, they find out who got voted, who got the most votes and is going into elimination as well as the teams who voted for them (the ones going into elimination). This week the chosen team was Natalie and Paulie and then they found out who voted for them. Out of the ones that voted for them then they (Natalie and Paulie) had the power to choose who they were going against. They chose Kam and Kayleigh but that backfired because Kam and Kayleigh ended up winning, leaving Natalie and Paulie to go home. We still don't know if they're going to the Redemption House or not so, let's see. All I know is that in the next episode a lot of drama is going to happen so, I'm curious for that. It involves Paulie from what I could see so... Let's see.

Well, I don't have much to had to this rant. Everything's still pretty fresh and I don't have a lot to comment on. The drama that is happening is petty and not much more happened so... Let's see. I can't wait for more challenges though. Next episode is going to be mainly Redemption House, I think. That is also interesting.

The Challenge: Final Reckoning | Season 32 Episode 2 - "The Young and the Wreckless"

Here we are with a brand new The Challenge rant!

Although this episode had a lot of information, it was a little annoying for me, to be honest. Yes, they answered basically all the questions that I had (which I mentioned in my last post) but it dragged the 'drama' so much! Basically half of the episode was 'drama' (which wasn't even that much drama) and we just saw a tiny bit of the week's challenge. Well, and needless to say that we didn't even get to nominations nor elimination.

Anyway, let's talk about the good stuff.

Right in the beginning we saw something new - the people in the redemption house getting to 'spy' on the main house through the 'surveillance room', where they saw a tiny bit of what was going on on the main house. Of course they had to show them what happened between Melissa and Kailah but they didn't get any answers. For a minute, I actually thought they were going to be the ones to decide if Kam and Kayleigh were going home or not (since we already knew that Kailah and Melissa were). 

Well, that didn't happen but my other prediction did - Kam and Kayleigh got paired up. I thought this was going to happen (either this or they were going to the Redemption House) so it wasn't really a surprise, but it was nice though, since they didn't have anything to do with what happened between Melissa and Kailah. 

After that, like I said before, they showed a lot of things that were kind of boring in my opinion - some 'drama' between Chuck and Britini, more stuff about Cara, Kyle and Paulie, Bananas and Natalie talking about what happened between them and so on. None of those things mattered much to me. 

When they did move on to the actual challenge, we found out the other thing that everyone was curious about - Bananas' partner. I have to say, I saw a bit of spoilers so it wasn't a surprise to me but, even if I didn't see any spoilers, it wasn't going to be a surprise anyway because it was exactly the person I thought it would be - Tony. That's right, Bananas and Tony are a team and I'm so sure they were going to be freaking amazing! Well, they already were!

Like I suspected, they were going to be a strong team and in this first challenge they got tied with Brad and Kyle. In the end, because of time, Kyle and Brad won but I'm still proud of Bananas and Tony and I'm pretty sure they are going to go far in this season. I'm sure the 'drama' between them isn't going to last long (just like with Bananas and Sarah all those seasons ago).

And, that's where the episode ended. No nominations and no elimination.

We did see a sneak peek of the next episode and it looks like everyone is only going to pick one team to go into elimination and them it's going to be random. At least, this time because I think they are going to change things up in the next episodes. I don't know, but I have a feeling.

So, let me know your thoughts on this episode and, just letting you know, next rant will be up a little later because I'm going on holidays and I'm only going to be able to post the rant probably on the last day of July (either that or August 1st).

The Challenge: Final Reckoning | Season 32 Episode 1 - "Six Feet Under"

Hello guys!

We are finally back with the usual The Challenge episodes and I have to say, I'm so excited about this season!

From the looks of it, this is going to be the best one so far, full of twists and turns, a lot of drama and really good challenges. The overall cast looks good and, although this first episode didn't  have a lot of physical challenges, it was really nice and so much happened already!

First of all, we got to meet some of the cast - my fave Bananas is among them so I'm already happy. Apart from him, Cara Maria, CT, Jenna, Zach and all those ones that we like the most are all in this season. Of course, there's also people like Amanda, who I hate so much, but I'm just trying to forget about her and all the other people that I just don't like.

Anyway, after getting to know the cast, they moved on to a challenge to, not only find out who their partners would be, since this season is all about being paired with the person you hate the most, as well as finding who's the last two teams that are going home straight away.

Unfortunately, Zach was paired with Amanda and they were the winners of the challenge. Also sadly, one of the teams that lost was Jenna's, who was paired with Jemmye. And, along with Jenna and Jemmye, also Britini and Chuck were the last ones to finish the challenge, therefore, the ones to go home. But that's not all. Because Amanda and Zach were the winning team, they had to choose another team to go home, which the chose Jozea and the girl who he was paired with, which I don't know and can't really remember the name of.

Moving from this, the rest of the episode was just drama. Lots of people hooking up with each other, dramas from the past and a kind of cliffhanger - turns out Bananas doesn't have a pair (yet) so we are still waiting for that. In my opinion, it's going to be Tony but, you never know. I actually would like to see them working together because I believe they would be such a good team and, to be honest, if they do get paired up, they are for sure going to be in the final. I really believe that.

Well, like I said, the rest of the episode was focused on drama and the biggest of all was the fight between Melissa and Kailah. I freaking hate Kailah, almost as much as I hate Amanda so I'm not even mad about it, nor with the resolution because, as you can imagine, the producers had to do something and yes, both of them were eliminated. The thing is, this is a pairs game so what's going to happen to they're team mates Kaileigh and Kam? Well, that's what we are going to find out in the next episode.

To be honest, I don't think they are going home - instead, they are going to the Redemption House because yes, there's a Redemption House again, in which all the other three teams that were sent home are right now which means, Jenna is still in the game, which I like.

Ok guys, that's it. This is what happened in this first episode. Not much physical stuff but, from the preview of the rest of the season, it looks like it's going to be one hell of a ride so, I can't wait!

Shadowhunters | No More Rants

Hello guys!

So, I told you I was going to make an announcement and here it is.

You already know what it is from the title so yes, I'm not doing Shadowhunters' rants anymore.

This decision came just in time, actually. I decided I was going to stop doing Shadowhunters' rants because I wasn't really doing well in Uni and, truth be told, Shadowhunters is my least favourite series from the ones that I rant about so when it came to deciding which one to 'give up' I had to go with Shadowhunters. And just as I made that decision, like a week or something after, it was announced that Shadowhunters was cancelled. I also found out that Will Tudor is not playing Sebastian/Jonathan anymore on the second part of the season so I was also really mad at the show for that so, everything happened at once and yeah, I reached this decision.

It just pains me because it was the only show that I started ranting since the very first season but, at the same time, I'm not even mad that it got cancelled and I'm not even trying to get it 'saved'.

Truth is, and I've said this many times on the blog, Shadowhunters isn't a good show. I am actually surprised it lasted this long! And yes, season 3 was somewhat interesting and for sure better than the first season but, overall, it's a bad show and I really don't think they're getting saved.

Most of the actors already have something else (Isaiah is playing Adult Mike on IT Chapter 2 and I'm so excited about that!) so yeah, this is really the end of Shadowhunters.

There's still going to be more 12 episodes that are going to air next year (if I'm not mistaken) but I'm not ranting about those.

This is my last post about Shadowhunters.

I'm sorry if I'm letting you down, but I really had to.

Ok, this is it guys. Next week there's a new The Challenge episode, the new season so... Posts will be up more often!
