Batwoman | Season 1 Episode 9 - "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello guys!
OMG! I knew there was a reason to believe that Oliver would come back! That's right guys, Oliver is kind of back. He's not 100% back but they're working on it. It's already a good thing that he's not dead so, I'm happy! And this episode, although still a bit slow, it was better. There were no Supergirl characters (apart from Kara, obviously, and Superman and Lois) and there were no Supergirl plots that could confuse me. Also, Mia was pretty quiet this episode so, everything worked in my favor.
As we saw in the preview, we saw a few people mourning Oliver's death but of course, that was really misleading because right away we find out that Barry was not okay with Oliver dying, as we all thought he wouldn't be, and starts working on a way to get him back. Surprisingly, it didn't involve time travel or anything. It was actually a lot more Arrow accurate, with Barry wanting to go to a Lazarus Pit to get him back. My thought right away was that Thea had destroyed all of them.Well, there's a lot of Earths they could look into and so that's what they do and go to a different Earth to get Oliver into a Lazarus Pit. For that, they ask for the help of Constantine who leads them (Barry, Sara, Oliver and Mia) there and also tries to help with getting Oliver's soul back. That's when things don't really work out and the spell doesn't work because of the Anti-Matter that is affecting Constantine. And that's it for the Oliver story-line.
But before they go there, the Monitor lets everyone know that, in order to defeat the Anti-Monitor they have to find the seven Paragons (aka the symbols that we saw in that scene with Nash). The Monitor also tell them that they have already find two of them  - The Paragon of Destiny, which is Sara, and The Paragon of Hope, which is Kara. The Monitor as information for two more and so two different teams go look for them. Iris, Lois and Clark go look for the Paragon of Truth, who's another Earth's Superman, and Kate and Kara go look for the Paragon of Courage who is Batman from another Earth.
With the first team we visit Smalville's Superman, who we learn that has given up his powers in exchange for a family and then they find the real Paragon - Brandon Routh's Superman, which we all knew was coming.
As for the second team, there's a whole thing with Batman which I don't think is that relevant. The only thing that we need to know is that this Batman killed Superman, which leads to a fight between him and Kara and in which Batman ends up dead - meaning, he's not the Paragon.
When back to the Waverider (yes, they're base is now the Waverider, from another Earth, I might had, which also brought us Mick from that same Earth) we find out that the new Paragon of Courage is Kate instead of Batman and that's it. We have our first four Paragons. There's still 3 more left which I'm sure we're going to find them in the next episode, as well as get Oliver back.
This episode, overall, was good. I'm just happy that they're bringing Oliver back, so that's enough from me. I'm pretty curious to see who will be the 3 remaining paragons. One might think that it's obviously Barry and Oliver, but I doubt it. My bet is that one of them is Black Lightning, and that's why he's the only one from that show in the crossover, and then the other two might be Killer Frost and Diggle as Green Lantern, which have been rumors about. Those are my three bets. I know the next episode is just a couple of hours away but well, let me know your bets.
I'll see you tomorrow with a new rant!
Love,
Daniela.
