Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 11 - "Regarding Dean"

Back with a new Supernatural rant!

I'm starting off by saying that this was an incredible episode, probably my favourite one so far this season!

Not much happened storyline wise in this episode like, this didn't have anything to do with the British Men of Letters or Lucifer's son, this was just another 'case of the week' type of episode, but it was so much fun! This reminded me of some of the episodes from previous seasons, like when Dean is afraid of every thing or like when Dean could talk to animals. This was one of those types of episodes so obviously, I loved it!

This time this fun episode was about witches! So, Dean is after a witch when that witch catches a spell on him. The next day, Dean can't remember anything from the night before. I've already seen that in the previews, so this wasn't really a surprise for me, I just didn't know which type of spell this was and if he just couldn't remember things from the night before or if it was more serious.

We then find out that it is more serious and Dean is starting to forget a lot more things, like names of some objects. So Sam decides to call Rowena who tells him that the 'cure' for this is to kill the witch who cast the spell. 

Since Dean can't really remember what he did the night before, they decide to retrace Dean's steps, finding the witch who cas the spell already dead, and Dean still affected by the spell.

Requesting for Rowena's help once again, she tells them that she recognizes the the spell and that she knows the family, she just thought they were already dead.

Rowena also tells Sam that they need to get the family's spellbook, the Black Grimoire in order to break Dean's curse.

Sam finds the family but is captured by them so they can resurrect the witch that died. Rowena then drives there, leaves Dean in the car and confronts Catriona, while Sam tries to get free. In the end, Dean follows some instructions left by Rowena and kills both the last two witches, saving both Rowena and Sam.

Rowena fixes Dean and then leaves, but without the book, since the Winchesters don't trust her with it. Still, they tell her they owe her one.

The episode ends with the scene that everyone wanted to see through out the whole episode, Dean riding a mechanical bull. I guess I don't need to say this but it was just a really fun scene and, overall, like I said in te beginning, such a fun episode.

The storyline of the episode seems like really 'intense' but, of course, Dean being Dean, without memories is really funny and obviously we had a lot of jokes through out the episode, like when Dean said he liked Dory or when Sam asked him to name all the Bon Jovi's or just like Dean's facial expressions. Everything was so much fun and I just had to watch the episode twice because it was that good!

The Challenge: Invasion | Season 29 Episode 1 & 2 - "Gimmie Shelter" & "Skeletal Fracture"

Hello guys and welcome to a brand new series here on the blog!

If you follow me on other social media you might know already that I've been super addicted to The Challenge and, since this past Tuesday a new season aired I thought "Why not start ranting about a new series on the blog?" so, that's what I'm here for.

In case you don't know what The Challenge is about it is basically about a group of people that have to do (mostly) physical challenges in order to get to the final and win either one of the three main prizes, 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.

This season is a lot exciting for me because, like the name says, there's an Invasion, an Invasion of the Champs.

Basically this season most of the cast is Underdogs, people that have never won a challenge and that aren't really recognized for what they can do. 

But, in the middle of the season, the Champs are going to invade their 'house' and the Underdogs will have to 'fight' against the Champs.

I don't really know how that's gonna work because, until now, it's an individual game so I don't know if, when the Champs arrive, they are still going to compete as individuals or if they are going to compete as Teams like, the Champs Team against the Underdogs Team, but we'll see.

So, About this first two episodes...

There are a lot of changes from previews seasons... First, the cast isn't in a masion, but in a 'Shelter' and they will have to either win a challenge or win an elimination in order to get to the mansion, called the Oasis, but the catch is, they will only go to that Oasis when all the places to go to the masion are filled so, for now, they are staying in the Shelter.

Second, I don't know if they are going to change this but, for nominations, it's the guys who pick the girl and the girls who pick the guys.

And third, no one watches the elimination so, those are a lot of Changes.

Now, about the Cast.

Most of this people I already knew from previews seasons, such as Amanda, Cory, Dario and Jenna.

But I got to say, I'm all the way Team Champs because Bananas, duh! I also really like Camila, she's really inspirational but... I'm Team Bananas all the way so, no matter what happens in that game, I will always be Team Bananas.

I also like a few people in the Underdogs Team, not many, I must say, only Jenna, Nicole and Bruno, but since Bruno already went home... Just Jenna and Nicole...

I can tolerate some of them but most are just really annoying and I just can't wait for the Champs to arrive because they are way more exciting to watch and overall, way better!

Ok, now that we got this 'introductions', I have to talk about some of the things that happened in this episodes, like the actual Challenge, the 'fights' that happened and the elimination.

So, the first Challenge I thought it was actually pretty hard! And, if they were to do everything by themselves, it would take so much time! 

A lot of things happened in that Challenge but the thing that stood out to me the most was Ashley basically not caring about the other and, althought I do not like Ashley, I get it like, it is an individual game, it's every man for themselves so you do what you gotta do. I really appreciated the fact that Nelson helped Cory and all but, I wouldn't really mind if he didn't help him, it's the game.

Something else that was major in this episodes were Sylvia and the decision that she had to make. If it was me, I wouldn't choose a side and I would just pick someone else other than Tony or Theo and just say that I didn't want to pick sides.

But, if I really had to pick a side I would never do what she did. I would never betray my friends even thought that would mean I would have a target on my back. Besides, you have already seen in previews seasons that, if she wanted, she could try and put someone else in the 'spotlight' and make other people be the target so... That was a bad move on her part.

To finish everything, the elimination.

I have to say that I was rooting for Bruno and Marie, which just ended terribly wrong because both of them lost. I just don't really like Kailah or Tony and Bruno is half portuguese so, I was really rooting for him. It didn't work out though. Ultimately I'm Team Bananas so... I don't really care much about everyone else...

Anyway, I guess that's it. Let me know what you guys think about this whole season. I don't know if there's anyone that likes the show because I never really talked about it in here so, let me know everything. I would really like to know your opinions about the show, the season, the contestants, everything!

Arrow | Season 5 Episode 11 - "Second Chances"

Once again, I'm sorry I took this long with this update. But I'm here now so let's talk about Arrow!

This was a good episode in my opinion. Not my favourite one, but certainly better then the last one.

Last week's episode was too predictable (except for Felicity) so this one was a lot more exciting.

Starting off right with some cool stuff, we see a connection to The Flash, when they do a flashback to the S.T.A.R. Labs incident and we see some more metas getting their powers.

Then, we jump to present day and start on with the Diggle storyline which was, overall, pretty cool. Once again, we had a lot more of Felicity in this episode, when she's in 'charge' to recover some files to get Diggle free. 

And, since we're already in that topic, let's talk about this part of the episode. So, Felicity keeps on digging to get that file when she goes into the dark web and starts talking with someone that knows her previous 'online nickname' and wants to meet with her. The outcome isn't that exciting because, at first, I thought this person would be Felicity's dad or someone more 'important' in the show. Instead, is just like a really nerdy girl which has 'Felicity' (or who she used to be) as an idol. Anyway, this girl gives Felicity the file that she needed and a lot more, and at the end of the episode we see Felicity overwhelmed with all the files in that PEN Drive that this girl gave to her. I don't know if they're going to do more with this storyline but, for now, what matters is that Diggle is free and I'm happy about that outcome.

Now, to the main storyline of this episode, which was getting a new Black Canary.

Oliver isn't happy with none of the options the team gives to him, but that's until Curtis talks about a girl named Tina who has been taking down some people. Tina is one of the metas we saw in the flashback right at the beginning of the episode and, at first, Oliver is relutant, but then he decides to go, alongside with Curtis and Rene, to Hub City and try t recruit this girl.

At first Tina refuses to join the Team, but that's when Oliver and the boys discover what her real purpose is, to kill the man that killed her boyfriend/husband (I don't really remember). We also find out that that man is now also a meta-human and has powers which are basically the reverse of Tina's (which is the same Canary Cry as Laurel 'had').

At the end, Oliver, Rene and Curtis help her take down this man. Still, Tina seems not happy about joining the Team.

But, the very end of the episode, Tina meets with Oliver and agrees to join the Team and reveals her real name Dinah Drake. I know that this piece of information was crucial for all the comics readors but, for me, that have never read the comics, it was just a really nice touch of the writers that her real name is Dinah when Laurel's actual first name was Dinah too so... It was nice. Besides, I also liked this Tina/Dinah girl so, yeah, happy with this.

And, because we need to talk about the flashbacks... We see Talia helping Oliver to kill one of Kovar's associates and we see how Oliver really became the Green Arrow (previously, The Vigilante).

That's it guys! Like I said, a good episode overall.

Next episode I think it's going to be great because we are going to see Bratva in present time so, that's going to tie up everything.

The Vampire Diaries | Season 8 Episode 11 - "You Made a Choice to Be Good"

Omg you guys, I have so many things to say about this episode!

First of all, What was that episode?!
I'm still pretty shook about everything that happened and I just can't stop thinking about it. I feel like I'm mourning as well and, althought this makes me feel really bad, it shows how good this episode was!
But yeah, let's start because at the end I have so many predictions of what is going to happen from now on.
So, I was pretty excitied about this episode! Cade was free and that meant that we were going to get to know him 'better' and we actually did. Right from that point I loved the episode! We already knew, from the previous, that Cade was going to free Stefan and then ask Damon to either kill 100 strangers or Caroline and that was exactly what he did. Obviously, since Damon now has his humanity, he started thinking of a way to do neither and, instead, kill Cade. But Cade is smarter than that and confronted him and set himself on fire and even ripped is own heart out, and none of those things killed him, which meant Damon was screwed.
Meanwhile all of this is happening in Mystic Falls, Bonnie and Enzo have been doing stuff that was on Enzo's bucket list, since he soon is going to become human and will have to be more carefull with what he does and, besides, he might die at any moment so, yeah...
Right from that point I saw something coming. We were seeing so many scenes of Happy Bonenzo that I thought 'Well, they aren't going to end up together in the end of the series'. I already know the writers that well and know that, once everything is looking pretty good and everything is working fine for some character (and mostly Bonnie), something bad is about to happen, I just didn't think it was going to be that soon (but that I'll talk later).
Anyway, after doing those things, they travel to a house that later we find out that is where Bonnie is keeping Elena.
Back to Mystic Falls... Damon and Caroline keep working on a plan to kill Cade and that's when Caroline thinks that there's only one thing that could kill him, the cure. So they start working on getting the cure to give Cade instead of giving it to Enzo. At that moment, Cade comes back and confronts Damon again, and that's when he says that he made the same offer to Stefan - kill 100 strangers or kill the love of Damon's life, Elena. He also tells that Stefan chose to kill Elena, and that's when Damon kind of forgets about the Cure plan and just races to New York to save Elena.
While all of this is happening, Stefan compells Bonnie's realtor to sign the house over to herself and then invite him in so that he can get to Elena.
And this is were the episode kept me out of my seat.
From that moment I just realized what was about to happen or, at least, some of what was about to happen. Stefan would get there and Bonnie, in defence, would just give the cure to him. And guess what happen? Yeah, exactly that! But, before... Stefan killed Enzo! That I never saw coming! Not in a million years! I always thought that, if someone was going to die, it was going to be Bonnie, and she would be the reason why they wouldn't be together forever. But Enzo?! Nope, no... Never guessed that and, to be honest, I'm still kind of in denial and I still think he's coming back. Or, at least, we are going to see him in hell or something.
But yeah, after that, Bonnie gives Stefan the cure, he 'passes out' and she runs to where Enzo is laying dead. And then she screams and a wave of sound comes out of her... I don't really know how to explain this but I think this means she got her powers back. So, I kind of understand why the writers did what they did. They needed something to wake the magic inside Bonnie and what could be better than the love of her life dying? Yeah, I guess that's why they killed him and again, I still think he's coming back so....
So, now on to some Predictions!
I have predictions for basically until the very last episode so, let's get on to it!
First of all, I think Dorian and Matt have a big part on this whole kill the devil thing. It can't just be the bell and that's all. They have something else and, from this episode, I even started thinking that Dorian might be related to Cade so... I don't know, but seems like a good storyline to me...
From that, I have two preditions on how we are going to find out how to kill Cade and how to bring Enzo back.
First theory is that they go to hell to save Enzo and/or get information on how to kill Cade, and that's when they meet Kai, and Katherine and others.
Second theory, which seems more likely to me, is that we see Enzo in hell, and he's the one that talks with Kai and etc. After that, Bonnie discovers she has her powers back so she tries to bring Enzo back and manages to. Enzo then tells them what he talked with Kai and the others and that he knows how to kill Cade.
I just don't really know how they are going to kill Cade but, after they do, my theory is that Bonnie then decides to become a Vampire. Then, because of that, Elena wakes up.
And, in the very end, since there is a rumor out there that either one of the brothers is going to die, and since I always said that it was going to be Stefan, my theory is that Stefan sacrifices himself, so Damon can get the cure from him and be with Elena forever. Because of that Stefan starts aging faster and ends up dying just like Katherine.
Of course I would so much more rather have a Stelena ending, since Elena is human and now Stefan is human as well, that can still be a possibility but... I don't really think so... First, the writters have to, at least, give a good ending for the Delena stans and, besides, just like I said in previews rants, this is Stefan's story, he said it in the beginning of the series so... Yeah, I stick to my theory that it's going to be Stefan who dies in the end.
So, summing up, my predictions for every character are that Enzo and Bonnie end up together, both as vampires, Caroline and Alaric both go to The Originals, Damon and Elena end up together, both as humans, Stefan Dies and Matt will forever be Human.
And yeah guys! I know I took this too seriously but, this series has been my life for the past 8 years so, I'm really attached to it.

Supernatural | Season 12 Episode 10 - "Lily Saunder Has Some Regrets"

A new episode of Supernatural aired last night and, of course, I'm here to talk about it.

Supernatural is one of those series that never disappoints. It might have some episodes that aren't my favourites, but every single episode has something major and something interesting to show us, and this one couldn't be exception.

I got to be honest, at first, I wasn't really enjoying it. Maybe it was because I had a sh*tty stream and I couldn't listen very well, but then my usual stream started working again and I started enjoying the episode a lot more, to the point that I actually think this was a pretty pretty good episode!

So, this episode was all about Castiel and the angels. I don't usually like the angels storylines and, out of all the seasons, season 6 was the worst for me, but surprisingly I really liked this episode!

Basically one of Castiel's old 'friend', Benjamin, dies and he 'cries out' for hel through the connection that he has with Castiel and the other three angles that were part of their group. That's when we start to see some flashbacks of Castiel and we even see that years ago his vessel was a woman, which was interesting.

Anyway, of course Castiel goes to meet with the rest of his 'old group' and of course, although all the issues that they currently have about the fact that Cass killed Billy and the repercussions that they could have, Sam and Dean go with him.

When they arrive, another of the angels die and that's when they get face to face with Lily Saunder. 

After she gets away, thats when Castiel and the remaining angel, Ishim, tell Sam and Dean that Lily married an angel and had a daughter nephilim and, because it was against Heaven's laws, they had to kill both the angel and their daughter, so now Lily is seeking revenge.

The Winchesters then track her and that's when Lily tells them the real truth - that her daughter wasn't a nephilim and just a normal human. She also tells them that she studied angels for years and that the powers that she now has is enochian magic.

They them go and confront Ishim and he eventually confirms Lily's story. In the end, Castiel ends up killing Ishim to save Lily, and tells her that if she, one day, still wants revenge on him, he'll be waiting.

The Winchesters and Cass then go back to the bunker and talk about Lucifer's son and how they are going to find them.

In my opinion, we won't really touch much on this subject. Neither in this one or the Billie issue. The main 'villains' in this season are the British Men of Letters, so from now one, probably in about two or three episode, we are going to focus more on that and then Lucifer's son is going to be the main villain next season, because we already know that there's going to be a 13th Season!

That's just my opinion.

The Flash | Season 3 Episode 11 - "Dead or Alive"

A little bit late but, here it is The Flash rant!

I don't really know what to say about this episode. I liked it, but there were a few things that kind of pissed me off in the episode so... I don't know.

So, basically this whole episode was about a new 'little villain', which wasn't in fact a villain.

I'm talking about Gypsy, who came to 'our earth' to take H.R. back to Earth-19, since he broke the law and travelled to another earth. Besides that, we also find out that Gypsy has basically the same powers as Cisco, so basically she's a female Vibe, but with better and stronger powers.

The whole episode is around her and what can they do to stop H.R. from going back to Earth-19, since the 'penalty' for what he did is death.

In order to stop that, Cisco demands a trial by combat, which she accepts. Obviously, Cisco didn't know he got himself into and, to be honest, I didn't have much faith in him. Of course I knew that he wasn't going to die, but I thought that Barry would come up with something to save Cisco, which he did, but just made everything worse.

In the end, Cisco got to defeat her but didn't kill her, obviously. She gets back to Earth-19 but makes it clear that H.R. can never come back, because she's going to say that she killed him.

Meanwhile, there's the other part of the episode that kind of pissed me off, which was Iris storyline.

I never really liked Iris, so I'm kind of a suspect to say this but, I just think she was so dumb this episode. I've seen a lot of people 'happy' about her in this episode and all, because she stood for herself and tried to make a legacy for herself and catch some bad guys but... I just think she was dumb! I mean, you're supposed to die in 3 months, I know, but that doesn't mean that you can't die earlier so... I just think it was dumb. 

And, in the very end of the episode we learn that it isn't Barry who's going t save Iris in the future, but it's going to be Wally instead, since he's getting faster and faster more quickly that Barry did in the last seasons.

I don't really know how I feel about. To be honest, I wouldn't mind Iris to die, but you already know that but, about Wally saving her... I mean, I'm liking Wally and all but... I don't know, it doesn't really feel right. 

Anyway, let me know your thoughts about all of that and yeah, I guess that's it.

Shadowhunters | Season 2 Episode 5 - "Dust and Shadows"

Finally, a Shadowhunters rant!

I know I took way too long with this rant and, unfortunatelly, not to say good things...

Ok, I didn't think the episode was bad, but it wasn't good either.

Although some part of the episode follows the fact that Valentine now has two of the Mortal Instruments, the most part of the episode followed the storyline of Jocelyn's death. And, I have plenty to talk about both this storylines.

First, I still don't understand what it means the fact that Valentine has two of the Mortal Instruments. Are both together stronger? Which is the other mortal instrument? What happens if he has the three mortal instruments?

I know that a lot of this questiones are answered in the books, but I never read the books so, if you have, please tell me because I'm a little bit confused.

Then, I understand why this episode focused a lot on Jocelyn's death. Clary had to go through all that process to move on but... I just think it got really confused and, to be honest, I don't know what is the main storyline this season. Ok, it's Valentine but... What does he really want? Please, someone tell me because I'm really confused about all of this.

Besides that, we also had some issues with Izzy, because of the wound she has when Clary 'stabbed' her to get rid of the demon. Aldetree then gave her some type of 'drug' that can cure the injury and I don't really know where we stand with that right now but I think we are over with that 'little storyline' and she's now cured... I hope so, at least.

And, just like the previous episodes, my favourite part of the episodes has been Simon's storyline.

In this episode he had to go through some struggles with his family and the fact that he's a vampire. It was pretty funny, mostly when his sister found the blood and all... I really liked that part of the episode.

To finish, other thing that I really enjoyed in this episode was one of the last scenes, the funeral scene.

Specially for me, that haven't read the books, it is pretty cool to see those types of scenes. Those are little things that don't seem to matter but they actually matter and it's really nice to see the differences between our 'real world' and the Shadowhunters world so it was a nice scene.

And yeah, I guess that's it.
