The Flash | Season 5 Episode 15 - "King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello people!
So, as promised, here I am with a brand new The Flash!
The Flash is back from hiatus with a bang! The series keep doing this and it's just amazing - they come up with loads of different ideas to keep the audience following the show and glued to every episode (something that Arrow haven't really been doing) and this is another of those amazing episodes that they come up with. I have to say that I had really high expectations for this episode and it surely didn't disappoint me (the only downfall for me was Ralph not being there but, you know, I'm really bias towards him). A lot of people were expecting this to turn into a sh*t-show (which you can clearly think of, when you see the title of the episode) but it wasn't at all, and I'm so happy about that!
Everything starts with Cisco announcing that the meta-human cure is ready and so, they decide that King Shark is the perfect subject to test it on. However, they all agreed that they wouldn't use the cure as a weapon so they have to go to him and ask if he really wants the cure. And so, they go to ARGUS (having Lyla two nights in a row was nice, though) and request to get in contact with King Shark who then attacks them (which they later find out he was being mind controlled by Grodd).
On a second attempt, things still don't go as planned and so Barry is forced to use the cure on King Shark without his authorization in order to save Cisco. We all knew this was going to shake some waters and I could already see Cisco being mad at Barry, again, which ended up happening. However, that's when they find out about Grodd, when Grodd mind-controls Cisco making the later punch Barry. Grodd also mind controls Caitlin and, in the end, steals Dr. Lamden's telepathy crown to amplify is powers and mind-control everyone in the city.
That's when everything goes down. Shay (the human form of King Shark), after discovering that there's still a bit of dark matter in his brain, making him still be bit of a Shark, decides to give up being human and get back to his King Shark form in order to help Team Flash fight Grodd, in a way to make amends with everything that he did as King Shark.
Then, it comes this epic fight between King Shark and Grodd and... There's really no words to describe it. You really have to see for yourself. The only thing that I can say is that, obviously, King Shark wins in the end and they put Grodd in a coma, so he won't be able to have access to his powers and run away from ARGUS, again.
In the end, Team Flash has a talk about how the cure really works and that's when Barry suggests giving it to Cicada, and that's how it ends.
However, that trailer for next week looked amazing and it looks like Cicada won't really be the big bad of the season so... I'm really excited for it!
Let me know what are your theories for what's to come as well as your thoughts on this week's episode! I'll see you guys tomorrow with a new The Challenge rant!
Love,
Daniela.
