The Challenge: Vendettas | Season 31 Episode 14 - "Vendettas Never Die"

Spoiler Alert!

Hello everyone!
So here we are with The Challenge: Vendettas final. Well, it isn't like the final episode and we didn't really find out who wins this season in this episode but it seems like this is the final 'normal' episode because, from the 'next on' it seems like the next two episodes are going to be like 'reunion' type of episodes and, just like in the previous season, they are going to let us know who won in that reunion so... Yeah. But before all that, let's talk about the evens on this episode.
I have to say that this episode was a bit underwhelming. I mean, I loved the 'main part' of the final but there were certain parts that seemed like they were going to be a big thing but turned out to be disappointing, like the Mercenaries thing, with Bananas and Melissa.
You knew that I was really excited about that and I was really hoping for Bananas to kick Tony's ass but turns out that both Bananas and Melissa were there just to flip some cards, which was pretty disappointing. And, on top of that, only Melissa got to throw a grenade at Kam, and Bananas didn't got to throw it at anyone so, there's that.
But I'm jumping a little too ahead so let's get back a bit.
The beginning of the episode they talked a little bit about the final and all that but, truth be told, I didn't pay much attention to that. I just wanted to see the final.
As usual, they had to run a course and just like in some previous seasons, they had some totems and they had some stops so, the first stop I think was the worst one because not only they had to run like a lot back and forth but also because they could betray them and because of that last thing the boys got stuck in there for a long time. All of them besides Kyle. Because of all the pettiness between Zach, Tony and Leroy, the first two starting messing with Leeroy and Leroy got back at them, until they realized they were just being really dumb and they basically give up. But, because all of those things, Kyle was kind forgotten and he actually got the lead. As for the girls, they also tried to screw with Cara but they realized pretty soon what they were doing and stopped. Besides, Nicole got injured and she had to give up so, one less girl.
Next thing was the thing with Bananas and Melissa that I've already talked about. Melissa was the only one to throw the grenade at Kam and the result of that was that Kam, who was in second place got run by Kailah and they switched places, ending with Cara Maria in first place and Kailah in second of both of them moving to the second phase of the finale.
As for the boys, things got a little more interesting. I mean, there wasn't any fight or anything but turns out that Zach got in first place and Kyle, who everyone thought was just a lay up, got in second also moving forward to second phase. The sad thing is that Leroy didn't got through, which is a bummer but, the good thing is that neither did Tony, which was just Karma.
And well, next thing was just them finding out about only one winner and the beginning of the last challenge wich was a memory thing - another down side of the episode.
I don't know, a memory game just doesn't look like something for a final.
Well, those are my thoughts. To be honest, I kinda want Cara to win but, at the same time, because of what she did to Leroy and don't want to so, the best thing, I think is if Kyle wins. Truly, that would be amazing! A rookie winning! But truth be told, I just don't want Kailah to win...
Anyway, those are my thoughts on this episode.
Let me know what you thought about it and who do you think/want to win, and I'll see you later with a new Shadowhunters rant!
Love,
Daniela.
